"I respected S&A West Indian as one of the pioneers of Trinidadian classics — they served the fluffiest aloo pies and a memorable spicy mango curry." - Eater Staff

Everything West Indian! You can get a variety of things here at a reasonable price. Going here gives you a taste of the Caribbean indeed. I can get anything just as if I was home. The customer service is amazing as well, the owner is very friendly and upbeat, loves to play around too lol

This is the place to go if you need any Jamaican products!!! If you want fresh oxtails, this market is the place to get them. Their customer service is excellent and they also have the best beef patties in town!!! Love this market❤️😊

So happy I found this store! They have so many Caribbean products that I usually have to drive to Albany for. Would be nice if they accepted ebt, but still a great place to go for your Caribbean items.

Our first time going here was a great, friendly, customer oriented and well catered to experience. The person in store engaged with us about our needs, was very jovial and helped us find what we were looking for and told us about things they have that we may be interested in. We got everything we needed and more. Very happy with the experience and prices. Highly recommended. Should have taken pics for review but didn't think about that at the time. Will get pics next time as we're surely going back.

Yelp
Amazing Grocery store! Such great selection for great prices! The owners are very friendly and kind people! I am not Carribean but I love Carribean food. There are ingrediants in there that any culture can benefit from. Their hot sauce is my absolute favorute! I love the Matouks Calypso sauce and all of the hot sauces they have! You have to take a trip here! Unfortunately anyone who knows a thing or 2 about this side of Albany, knows the type of people that roam the streets. Which is the only donwisde of coming here. This has NOTHING to do witht he place,t he palce is a gem! I walked into the store the other day and a group of loud outhed rowdy teen boys were basically planning to steal the candy in the front. That really pissed me off. This store is run by great people! its sad that these loud annoying obnoxious juvenile delinquents have no respect for other people's business and source of income!

Yelp
Hidden just a couple of blocks off Central Ave down Robin, I come here often. I mostly find the locals here. The owner, staff and locals are always very friendly. They have a selection of house made patties, multiple kinds of frozen fish, and variety of yams. I prefer fish frozen properly to never frozen fish (notice I did not say fresh, because unfrozen fish is often not fresh) form more than 1000 miles away that is probably long past being fresh. The owner opened a restaurant a couple of blocks away last year, but I have not been there yet.
