I want to share my admiration for a restaurant that has become a true gem in the Traunsee area. My wife and I were captivated by the atmosphere of ease and comfort from the moment we walked in. The food here is simply exquisite! Every dish is prepared with fresh local ingredients, and you can taste it in every bite. The presentation is an art form in itself; each plate looks like a masterpiece, making the experience of enjoying the meal even more delightful. The service is also top-notch. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly, creating a sense that we were the center of their attention without being intrusive. This creates the perfect balance between comfort and care. I can't forget to mention the desserts—they are unforgettable! The handmade creations and authentic local liqueurs add a unique touch and perfectly finish off the meal. This restaurant undoubtedly deserves a Michelin star. It truly stands out in the Traunsee area!

Very nice and cozy restaurant with special atmosphere. Staff was professional, very friendly and helpful. Speaks fluently english. Couvert and Amuse bouche is welcoming you before your dinner and it’s delicious. But courses from the menu are pretty excelent - perfectly cooked, full of taste cause of strong basic broth and also smartly combinated ingredients. Only one small detail which suprised me - glass for Chardonnay was used for Gewürtztraminer - so it was decanted fastly and for me it losted minerality and freshness in short time. Maybe it was wanted, I felt it like a little pitty. At all, this exclusive restaurant surely deserve all of the gastro achievements. Better to do the reservation. We didnt and it was lucky to get a table. Thank you for all your care and wish a lot of satisfy customers.

We were going back from Hallstatt after staying there for one night and we stopped by for lunch, just because we found it on Google Maps. This restaurant is exquisite, the food, the service… I recommend the lamb and the the fish soup. The crème broule is amazing too, also the chocolate cake. 100% recommended!!

5 Stars all around. We arrived late on the last Saturday night in June and without a reservation. They kindly set a table for us (2) and boy were we in for a treat! We ordered the steak and the catch of the day. 'Delicious' does not do it justice. The staff was attentive and kept bringing out 'bonus' delicacies the chef was putting together! Nothing I have ever experienced before. It was so fun & and we so taken aback I forgot to take photos of the food! Portions were logical and appropriate (compared to American portions). Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. Highly recommend and I will certainly revisit when in the area again.

Small restaurant in a guest house opposite to the train station. The food is very delicious, a mix of local Austrian and international. We took two kinds of fish of the day (they had a choice of three) and a chicken. Everything was of excellent quality and taste. Service was perfect. Several local families had lunch at the same time. Relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. Free parking. Electrical socket for phone charging was available.

Nice place. Delicious balanced food. Ratio of fat/ proteins/carbohydrates was optimal and I was energy long time after. Interesting presentation of bread. Thank you!

I am absolutely appalled at how we were treated at this restaurant and would recommend anyone to stay away from this place which absolutely ruined our night and our whole holiday. The food arrived cold and unstable so we politely asked for a replacement. The staff were extremely rude about it and the food was never replaced but still included in the bill. We were then offered a “compliment dessert” which in fact was not a compliment at all as it was also included in the bill. The service was simply rude and unacceptable and the bill was extortionate. We questioned the bill and yet again politely asked to speak to a manger which resulted only in further rudeness from both staff and restaurant owner (who turned out to be the chef). I never write negative reviews but this situation has really and truly impacted us as we don’t believe anyone should be treated this way, avoid going to this restaurant if you want to have a pleasant day!
