The 12 Best Restaurants in Casablanca, Morocco - Eater
"Combined with spices, onions, and tomatoes, camel meat makes a delicious meal at one of the city’s most popular spots for street food. Head to the butchers on the Marche Viande near Derb Sultan, an area popular with Moroccans for outdoor shopping and street food, and just look for the camel heads hanging near one of the stalls. Order by weight and have your meat ground along with cilantro, parsley, salt and cumin. Then take it across the way to have it grilled along with veggie accompaniments. Eat it on the spot, in a central seating area between the butcher and grill stalls, or take it on the road. Outdoor dining and takeaway. [$]" - Amanda Ponzio-Mouttaki
Nice place to buy fresh meat from the day (beef, lamb, chicken, and even camel). You can select the best location you like or check where locals are buying it. Then you can get your meat grilled upstairs and get side dishes and drinks to complement it. Grilling was about 15dh per kilo of meat.

We arrived at the place with 6 boucheries and bought a kg of lamb and had it grilled at the only one little service place across from the street that doesn't have really good seating. The lamb was not great for grill, bit too tough.
After eating, we walked to the other side of the building and it turned out there are many more boucheries with service places and better seatings upstairs. Not sure how good the meats are there, but at least, the atmosphere appears better than where we ate.

There is no refrigerator and cold chain. There is also no hygiene either. It's nice that they grill and serve the meat you buy in the same place, but the place is always full of smoke. Overall I really liked the camel meatballs and the place can be enjoyable for those who don't have a sensitive stomach.

The butcher's market is a must visit site in Casablanca. The barbecue that they have here with the Halal meats are magnificent! Camel meat, hard to find, is something you should try. Camel meal is expensive, but it is worth it.
The best meats we've tried are camel, seasoned/spiced sausages, & the beef cuts. Turkey is a bit bland, but the rest of the meats are amazing!

You buy the meat from the market then take it to the nearby cafe stalls to cook it for you on a charcoal grill. Meat is cooked to perfection. A hot tomato and onion salad is provided along with bread and you can buy chips and drinks. A wonderful experience.

Unique experience, in this market you can buy fresh camel meat and have it cooked directly there.
You need a strong stomach to survive the butcher views and the strong smells, but it's worth it!
