Disappointing and uncomfortable experience
This was my first time getting highlights, and I chose George because he seemed competent and experienced. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, the experience felt intimidating and unwelcoming. His attitude made me feel nervous and discouraged, as if I was walking into a stressful situation rather than a beauty appointment.
Communication was extremely limited throughout the process. I spent hours with bleach on my hair without any conversation or reassurance, while he mostly gave orders to his assistant. I was told my hair would turn “brown,” which I reluctantly agreed to, hoping for a better result.
In the end, I was not happy with the outcome — not because of the $1,300 cost, but because of the lack of care, transparency, and respect. I wasn’t even shown or properly informed about the final color until I specifically asked another professional after the cut and blow-dry.
As a business owner myself, I strongly believe that client experience matters. Unfortunately, I felt treated like a number rather than a valued client. There was no guidance, no product recommendations post-treatment, and no effort to ensure satisfaction.
I left feeling disappointed and poorly treated. This experience did not meet the level of professionalism or customer care I expected!
