If you're needing a place for brunch, I could not recommend this place enough! The food and the atmosphere really remind me of the various brunch places in Austin, and I feel like that helps it stand out more here in Wichita Falls. They have a vary extensive menu, and they offer a lot more options and modifications than most other cafes. I really enjoy the California Breakfast Bagel sandwich, the Veggie Crossiant sandwich, and the Avocado Toast!! Very generous with the avocado too. ✨️ The pastries were average, and the cinnamon roll was smaller than the photos I've seen, which was disappointing. They also provide variety on drinks, but I found them most of the time to be a little bland. I usually go for a Matcha Latte, and it does have some sweeter already in it, however it is much more tolerable than certain other cafes. The prices can rack up quickly which might deter some, however I believe that the food is worth it! The service can be hit or miss. My recent visits have been enjoyable, but there has been times when the person at the register has been curt or lackluster in customer service. But nothing down right awful. I still find the plasticware and paper plates a little strange, but I understand that it provides less hassle for the workers and is cost efficient. It just takes some getting used to! It can get loud sometimes in the lobby, but that is to be expected most days.

This is a gem in the middle of othwerwise quiet downtown. Everything is fresh and the staff all hustles to get the food and drinks out. If you go on a weekend morning you may have to wait in line but it moves quickly. Their strawberry waffles are delicious and my son enjoyed the french toast: we also enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie, a brownie and a blueberry mudfin.

Me and my husband stopped here quick going through town. Were from Lubbock and were so happy with our food. I got the bacon avocado grilled cheese and my husband got the country Benedict. Absolutely delicious. So pleasantly surprised. I dont leave reviews but i HAD to bc this food is so good and service is amazing as well! Wish we lived here so this could be our spot!

Google
AVOID IF GOOD SERVICE IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU. Having worked in service I appreciate a cash tip and always tip cash even if I pay via credit card. It seems this upset the staff and wish I had visited the coffee shop down the road. I wish this review was more about the food as it was good and just wish I was treated a bit nicer. I assume the manage or owner speak with staff about the intention of service and how it shouldn’t center on a tip. I came in based on reviews of good food and experience but am leaving with a poor experience due to the service received this morning. Also a bit strange ordering a bagel with cream cheese and getting a plastic container and plastic knife (unsustainable/wasteful) to make my own sandwich. Living in TX I’ve never seen that before. For the poor service alone, I can’t excuse the service and give a rating that matches how they made me feel.

Google
I visited 8th St. Coffee today for the first time and it did not disappoint! I ordered the 8th Street Breakfast Sandwich with grilled bread, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich is huge—served on thick Texas toast with lots of flavor. The bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly, and while I wish it had been cut in half for easier eating, I’d definitely order it again. I also got a large latte with sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free mocha. It was smooth, flavorful, and served at just the right temperature. The café itself is super cute—cozy atmosphere with charming little tables. Prices are fair, and I really wish I had time to sit and enjoy the space. Since I come to the area for work every so often, this spot is definitely going on my list to visit again!

Stopped by for a light lunch on our way to the big D. We had a berry and a chefs salad. Both were fresh and tasty. We ate outside as it was quieter and had an open table with a breeze.

Google
I came for the coffee, but stayed for the 8th Street breakfast sandwich and free mimosa (Sunday Funday special)! Super cute location with an incredible and extensive food and beverage menu. It's not just coffee!!

Yelp
Found this little gem on a road trip, arrived a few minutes before 9 on a Sunday morning, the line was to the sidewalk. Once they opened at 9, the line files in and wraps the perimeter of the room. Order at the counter and find a table, and our order was brought out very quickly. Specialty drinks were good and free mimosa! Gluten free bread, everything was fresh and good. Will be back.

Yelp
We were traveling and looked forward to a pit stop in Wichita Falls. 8th St. sounded like it was worth a detour. The setting is attractive and the smoothies were very good. You might wonder why a 2 star review then.? We arrived at 1:32 and when we stepped up to order we were informed the kitchen closed at 1:30. Perhaps we should have run across the street. We looked forward to trying the lunch offerings; sandwiches, wraps, etc. Instead we were told ,"I'm sorry our kitchen closed at 1:30." The customer service was terrible; the STRICT adherence to closing time for the kitchen, the insincere tone of the "apology", and the manager, I guess, who came to stand beside the cashier to confirm the kitchen was indeed closed. After we ordered the smoothies and we were walking away, I glanced back and the cashier was smiling at someone in the kitchen (I assume the manager ?.). It's easier than you might think to move from a good coffee cafe' to a struggling, if not formerly known as "_________". And that downward move happens through not appreciating ones customers and mistreating them.

Yelp
The sandwiches were meh, but we were at a coffee shop. The chai tea and cold coffee was great!! Would definitely come back for the coffee.

Yelp
Nice stop on our way from Fort Worth to Amarillo. It's a very nice coffee house with friendly folks, plenty of seating inside and out, clean restrooms and a cute shop next door. They have huge menu of coffee, breakfast and lunch options. We ordered the turkey avocado croissant with cranberry mustard. We enjoyed it with a bag of chips for only $10. It was a perfect snack to split. Loved the artsy horses near this coffee house.

Yelp
My mother in law and I stepped in after church - my second visit (first time was yesterday) and her first. I had the Cali Chicken Club and Cranberry winter spice lemonade and she had a cranberry turkey avocado on a croissant and Shirley Temple (which she was especially excited about lol). Food - DELICIOUS, well seasoned (very important), and FRESH. Yesterday, I had the avocado toast with bacon and over easy egg and the chai apple cider. Same thing - perfection (with the addition of a little salt and pepper on my avocado). Before we were done, my mother in law hopped up to order a sandwich for lunch tomorrow and I ordered a Greek salad lol. Service is great. The ladies delivering the food to the tables are especially friendly. Ambiance - wonderful. Love the big bright windows, the high ceiling, and the couches. As a military spouse transplant originally from Atlanta (Circa Mississippi) - it felt a little like home and I could almost feel like I was in a big city for a moment You've earned another regular (actually two). Thank you! I work on base and will definitely be back for lunch

Yelp
Went here two days in a row while in town. The coffee is delicious. The California breakfast sandwich was insanely good. The place is clean with a cool atmosphere.
google avatar

Lou L.

Yelp
Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!!! Bread was delicious ( wheat) three pieces of delicious ham, real cheddar cheese, a perfectly cooked egg , fresh lettuce, and tomatoes absolutely delicious. huge menu of coffee drinks and breakfast! I just had regular coffee. It was also delicious and of course I had to have a doughnut to top it off.. I highly recommend this place!!
google avatar

IbAm L.

Yelp
Adorable coffee house! The service was quick and friendly. A must visit if you love the local feel and a great muffin with your latte!

Victor G.

Yelp
All their food, including drinks like coffee or soda are served in paper plates, bowls, cups... Most items are priced Wayyyyyy Over the TOP.. NOT WORTH GOING TO FOR WATER... The water is held in a large plastic, see through container, and tastes like STAINLESS STEEL.. THIS IS WHY I GIVE IT TWO STARS OUT OF FIVE.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Lovely warm cozy place very nice. With great service and great food. It gives you the feeling of home sweet home

Yelp
Traveling through and found this place on Yelp, thought we would give it a try on Saturday morning. I could not have dreamed up a better experience! Great coffee, great food, and a great playlist! All served with a smile!

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! We just moved to Wichita falls and We came across 8th street for coffee and it was spectacular. I got the hazelnut slut and my boyfriend got the biscotti latti, we were impressed and we came back another time to try their breakfast cause it looked so good. Staff is always so nice and welcoming. Ambience is a great place as well. It will definitely be a place I visit often!
google avatar

Dmitry V.

Yelp
Regrettable visit. Coffee was burnt. Undrinkable espresso. Eggs Benedict country style, well, it's an abuse. Why taking world famous recipe and butcher it? No wonder Canadians hates us. Eggs were not poached, barely liquid yolk... and paper plates with plastic utensils, give me a break. The scone was lovely, but 20$ was a bit much for aftertaste heartburn.
google avatar

Craig G.

Yelp
First time here. I guess partly my fault but. The drink menu on many items doesn't ask hot or cold. In my mind I was thinking hot. I got a cold one. The breakfast sandwich says bagel or toast. I was thinking bagel, I got toast. I believe that the order taker should have ask those questions. They stand there with zero personality and flip their Tip screen over. Do your job right. Consider we're not all the same. Again partly my fault but I didn't realize they made an iced version of my drink. There really should be a Tip resend option. Why do we tip before we get service. Or better yet why do we tip after standing in line and serving ourselves?
google avatar

Bethany H.

Yelp
Great "kid" at the register, seems busy, outdoor seating, very good, great price, and pretty timely food. We tried the espresso, biscuits and gravy, french toast, eggs, and fruit. We had all this, 2 triple espressos, and a bottled water and it was only $35, very fair. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I really, REALLY wanted to frequent this coffee shop. It's in a great location, lots of space inside with cute decor, and the staff is incredibly nice. The problem I've had is they continue to mess up my order. I've ordered breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. They put mayo on my breakfast sandwich, and used regular bread when gluten free was requested (for allergies). I got a holiday drink- Christmas cookie. It was an iced version of a sweet cookie mocha. It was delicious. Not too sweet for me, and I can taste the coffee. I think the largest size is a 20oz. They do not put whip cream on the beverages. I got a peppermint bark iced mocha the following time. It tasted like a fruit milk water with a very strange aftertaste. I think it is reasonably priced, and both the drinks and food come out rather quickly (even when busy).

Yelp
We were passing through Wichita falls starving. SO so glad we stopped at this place! The staff is friendly, the ambiance is contemporary yet cozy! And food an coffee was AMAZING! We had the chicken Cesar wrap, the cinnamon muffin, caramel mochia and vanilla late

Lori H.

Yelp
Friendly service. My morning stop every morning when in WF for business. Have had lunch some there, too. Never have had something I didn't enjoy. Totally recommend.
google avatar

Abby T.

Yelp
Didn't have any of the lunch items, besides a coffee and a cinnamon muffin, but even that was delicious. All the employees provided great service and overall, the place is clean and very cosmopolitan. Definitely a good place to brunch with families and friends. Studying...not as much during the weekend, but maybe during the week, it would be ideal. Will definitely come back here.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Great place and very nice people. If you work downtown, this place is in walking distance. Lunch and breakfast items are top notch!
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
Prices are very high for what you get. No wait staff. Food is very expensive. Ambiance is a lot of used furniture and not very nice.

Katrina L.

Yelp
Hummus veggie wrap is delicious! Shared an outdoor table with a super cool veteran Tom and had a lovely conversation.
google avatar

Terri B.

Yelp
The service is wonderful here. Quick and correct orders. It is a full room with plenty of tables. There are two room off to the side for group meetings, one which we use weekly for our church group. This is downtown and it has plenty of windows so you will see down town Wichita Falls and traffic flowing down the streets. The people who work here are very friendly and very accommodating to groups who meet here. The food is tasty and the servings are large. You get plenty of food for the money you pay. I highly recommend this coffee shop.
google avatar

Ross H.

Yelp
Hands down the best breakfast sandwich's in town. Relaxed vibe and they have a fast waitstaff. Very large menu of food drinks and you can't go wrong with any of them.
google avatar

Teisha V.

Yelp
I love this spot! Staff is always nice. Food is always yummy. Environment is always chill. One of my favorite spots in Falls Town
google avatar

Hunter A.

Yelp
Holy crab, that may have been the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had at a coffee shop, coffee was amazing as well! I ordered a pepper popper sandwich and a cold brew.

Jordon-Scott R.

Yelp
Workers are very kind, gave great service, food came out fast, food and drinks were delicious, 10/10 would go again ( highly recommended breakfast location )
google avatar

Lorrie C.

Yelp
Great little spot! Driving thru Wichita Falls, and needed a bit of lunch. Found them on YELP, and really liked what we saw. Didn't try the coffee, but the Iced tea was good, and the staff was friendly. They have patio seating out front, which was a big bonus for us, to let the dog out of the car for a bit, too! We'll worth getting off the hiway to stop and enjoy the world for a few moments. Will be back.

Leila R.

Yelp
Very unique spot! Great for finding a quiet spot and working on a computer project. Coffee was great and the avocado egg cheese croissant add bacon was amazing! Service was fantastic also!
google avatar

Maggie Y.

Yelp
I only give four stars instead of five because they use styrofoam and plastic ware which takes forever to decompose.

Leslie B.

Yelp
I love love love their bacon and avocado grilled cheese. You can get it with or without the egg. My favorite place to eat downtown!! They have soy-free chips too. Yay me.
google avatar

Brenda W.

Yelp
Love this place. They treat customers like Kings and Queens. Very helpful. I was lost. Given wrong directions from more than one person to find an address i had to walk to. I was starting to have a heat stoke. THEY GAVE ME FREE SALT WATER AND SAVED MY LIFE WITHOUT KNOWING IT.
google avatar

Tobie C.

Yelp
Have had amazing breakfast, lunch, coffee, and sweets here. Haven't tried anything that wasn't super tasty. Great selection and service. Great new location that's super cute!

Kendall K.

Yelp
Top notch coffeehouse! I really enjoy this place for a number of reasons. First off the atmosphere is great with a lot of natural light with a good variety of seating options. You can sit outside (shaded or in the sun), inside in the main dining area, or there are also several separate rooms for a more relaxing and quiet experience. They have a full breakfast menu and a wide selection of drinks. Service is always fast too!
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
Cute, eclectic cafe. Great food and smoothies. 8th Street breakfast sandwich with pretzel bread. Don't recommend having it with over easy eggs unless you don't mind yolk all over your fingers.
google avatar

Dotty M.

Yelp
We happened upon this eclectic little restaurant in Yelp after walking Lucy Park, finding the inflowing falls! But this little place was PERFECT! Full of sorts of folks from singles to families with stroller kids! The food was very good, some basics-remodeled as the 'specials'. My husband enjoyed the French toast sandwich and I stayed with the basic breakfast. Coffee was very good and obviously the real specialty. It was the atmosphere that really garnered my attention. I just loved it all!
google avatar

Natasha K.

Yelp
Had a really good time here the food was really yummy and the prices were absolutely acceptable. The coffee was good so that's a mega plus

Belinda W.

Yelp
We always try to time our travel through Wichita Falls so we can include a stop at 8th St. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun plus, I can get a yummy latte!
google avatar

Katy R.

Yelp
You know how sometimes you takes bite of something and it's so ridiculously good that you instantly know that anywhere else you ever had it was a disappointing attempt? That is this places California Chicken Club. Move over sunshine state because these Texans nailed it. The latte was delish, the vibe inside is perfect, cozy and huge, the staff were efficient and friendly but it's that sandwich that isn't to be missed. I'm only in town for a few days and I am already doing the calculations on how many times I can eat here in the 3 days before I leave because if this is how they do food, I'm here for it! Great job y'all!

B G.

Yelp
I absolutely love 8th Street. The employees are super nice. The food is awesome. The ingredients used are fresh. If you are looking for fabulous coffee this is a must try.
google avatar

Austin H.

Yelp
This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. It's a little hidden gem located right in downtown Wichita Falls. It's very laid back and everyone in there is super friendly and inviting. The first thing I noticed was their extensive drink menu. They have a huge selection when it comes to coffee. Their menu also has a big selection of just about everything you can think of. My wife ordered biscuits and gravy while I ordered the breakfast scramble and they were both really good. All in all I'm really happy we found this place because this will prolly become our new little breakfast spot. If you haven't been then I highly suggest you go check it out.
google avatar

Chance G.

Yelp
Stopped in after a horrible experience at Pioneer of Texas Restaurant across town. I ordered the bacon avocado grilled cheese and it was amazing! The food and coffee both came out fast. 100 percent recommend!
google avatar

Ann K.

Yelp
Cozy atmosphere, friendly counter help, pretty good variety of foods, and excellent coffee choices.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Stopped by on our way to Amarillo. Got the best sandwiches. Wonderful meal. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
Loved my chai tea latte, and had a donut which I was told was made locally. Everything I had was great, the place was clean and charming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back soon to try more of the menu.
google avatar

Dan B.

Yelp
First stop on vacation and it was a good one! It's an eclectic little coffee shop with a variety of drinks (tea, coffee, iced coffee, smoothies, soda) pastries and sandwiches. I ordered the Jenny Q which had roast beef, veggies, and on toast. The decor has a variety of options from basic tables and chairs, to high tops with stools, or coffee tables with couches and rockers. Loved the sandwich and atmosphere. No problem stopping here again if in town.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
I decided to venture to 8th Street Coffee House during the After Hour Art Walk to see what the hype was about this place. I'm glad I did as it was quite click modern with the assortment of furniture and food displays. The customer service was superb with a friendly smile and helpfulness in ordering my shake. The only attribute of this restaurant that surpassed such wonderful customer service would have to be the taste of that shake. So tasty.
google avatar

Hammer F.

Yelp
Best coffee shop on town. Great coffee and service. There are several comfortable areas to sit and enjoy your brew. There are numerous games available to enjoy whilst you socialize.
google avatar

Marcus S.

Yelp
I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and the Greek salad and was not disappointed!! I will be back for sure.
