Not sure why people rate this place highly. We came in the evening, there was no line. We were let in after 10 min or so. We didn't mind standing and eating, because we didn't think we would order that much.
It was pretty nice weather outside and inside was freezing. The kitchen had 3 people - only one was mainly making hand rolls. The nigiri came out pretty quickly - the fish was fresh and delicious, but not of outstanding quality compared to other places in Japan. The rice was cold-ish, not soft and nice like in a good sushi restaurant. The hand rolls took forever. We only ordered 3. Waited over 40 min. We felt all the locals are getting better treatment (maybe they didn't order hand rolls at all, hence the better pace). After 40 min, standing and freezing, we got all rolls, but still were missing one nigiri for unknown reason. Honestly, we had no interest in waiting more and asked to cancel it.
Pass. 3 stars because fish is quiet good, not outstanding though.
