Old World Biergarten Restaurant & Bar is the closest I’ve found to truly authentic German cuisine, and it’s genuinely delicious. The dishes have that hearty, comforting depth you expect from old‑world cooking. The gravies and stews were rich, savory, and full of flavor — exactly what traditional German food should deliver. Their Spätzle, the classic German egg noodle, could have been even better if it were made from scratch, but everything else on the plate carried the experience. One standout was the sauerkraut — honestly some of the best I’ve tasted. They add little bacon bits that give it a smoky, savory edge without overpowering the tang. It’s simple, but incredibly well done. Overall, Old World Biergarten offers a warm, authentic taste of Germany, and it’s a spot I’m glad to have discovered.

We had a family lunch here on Sunday, and it was a wonderful experience. The selection of food and beverages was excellent. I ordered the Polish-style hot dog, and my husband chose the pork schnitzel with German potato salad—both were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We were also impressed by the wide variety of beers; it was really hard to choose just one! We will definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu.

Fun Bavarian themed restaurant! We tried the house baked Bavarian pretzel, Nürnberger bratwurst, bockwurst, vegan beyond sausage, spicy ginger chickpea soup, kremes, cinnamon stick, and bernliner krapfen. We drank German beer and mulled wine. We truly enjoyed everything. Stand outs were the pretzel, Nürnberger bratwurst, mulled wine and cinnamon stick pastry. Larger parties have gratuity added to their bill. Highly recommend this place of you are looking for authentic German sausages!

It's been a few years since we came to Old World HB. We wanted to check out the Christmas market and decided to grab dinner. It was a Tuesday evening around 6:30, most stores had closed down. There was barely anyone in the village. Biergarten on the other hand are almost full inside. We were seated right away, 2 tables next to us were celebrating birthdays. We started with a Hofbrau Original lager to chase down the house baked Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese. The warm pretzel is quite good, especially with mustard and beer cheese. Next the trio mini sausages with sauerkraut, which definitely hit the spot. For the main, we shared a Jager Schnitzel and Paulaner Hefeweizen. We're pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, comparing to similar dish we had earlier this year in Frankfurt. We'll check out the Schweinshaxe next time.

So much FUN!!! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, everyone here, from the patrons to the staff, is festive and that is what makes this such an amazing experience. There is dancing and various contests for those who want to participate. Marco is so much fun and inteacts well with the crowd. To clarify I was here during Oktoberfest on a Thursday evening..... It was busy, food line was 45 minutes but did move quickly and we met some cool people while we waited. Parking was free and a good time was had by all🙏🎶🎶🎉🎉

Crazy fun place that many people have never seen or heard of, and this is because it's hidden in an apartment building parking lot! They decorate to the Hilt for Christmas 🎄 There must be close to 100 Christmas trees and million mini lights spread out over everything! The food is delicious: it's authentic German Faire and it's cooked to absolute perfection. Get out there and enjoy this hidden gem in Huntington Beach ⛱️

Went on a lovely date with my boyfriend who wanted us to have a cultural experience going back to our roots. We got to walk around before and after dinner with wonderful shops, architecture and amazing plants and art all around. The staff were in costume and very attentive. The food was delicious and there were definitely some other foods I'd like to try off the menu. We ordered a la carte and shared everything. We also tried the pretzel with beer cheese. Its a must try. Such a lovely evening with my love.

Over the years, this spot has gone on a downward trend, especially after Covid, but it seems to be picking back up. The food is a bit overpriced and the choices are bit limited compared to other German restaurants, but it’s decent. The beer prices are a bit higher as well here which isn’t ideal! During the Christmas market, the food was limited and they ran out of pretzels for a while even after paying, so that was no bueno, but they sorted it out eventually. Overall, you can’t beat the experience, just don’t go in expecting a great time with food. Considering this is one of the only real Germany plazas, I do hope it returns to its previous levels.

My friends and I visited the Old World to celebrate the Oktoberfest. I was fortunate to find a parking spot on-site. My friends weren't as lucky and they have to park in off-site parking across the street. Oktoberfest 2025 started on 9/7 thru 11/9, Wed-Sunday. Biergarten (#50) is located right next to the restaurant (#49). A ticket is required to enter the Biergarten. You get $10 discount if you've dined at the restaurant. We ordered an Oktoberfest shank platter and a schnitzel platter, 2 pretzels, sausage trio, and currywurst to share. Service was acceptable considering how busy they are. They all reminded me food I had in Germany. There are sauerkraut in just about every dish. Overall we had a pleasant day.

I went to Old World to inspect the grounds. I wanted to see if attending Octoberfest was worth the $45 attendance fee (Sat night). I opted to have lunch at Biergarten, since I was there. I sat at the bar and ordered the Nürnberger Bratwurst plate ($20.00). I also ordered a König Pilsener ($10.00 for a 1/2 liter serving). With tax ($2.32), my ticket was $32.32 before gratuity. The plate comes with two bratwurst and a choice of one side dish from a robust list. (I chose mashed potatoes.) I was a little surprised by the form of the sausages. These are very long and thin. It's not the usual shape I am used to. But they tasted good. And while mashed potatoes are common, the taste and texture of these was really nice; not too heavy, not too thin. I think that $20.00 for this plate is fair. And given the serving size of the imported beer, I can't say that the beer was expensive. Service provided by the bartender was good. The order took a little longer to come out from the kitchen than I expected; but they may have been busy catering the beer hall outside.

Went to old world for Oktoberfest, while it was busy it was quite fun. First off parking was pretty easy to find. I did get there on a Sunday so it wasn't as busy as the Friday or Saturday night crowds. The lines to get food and drinks went by pretty quickly. I'd say 10 minutes at most. I ordered a bratwurst and a seltzer from brewery X and it was quite delicious. The atmosphere is so fun. There are many people that are dressed up and they are playing German music. They also have lots of different competitions that are going on and dances as well. It's a great place for a fun experience and worth visiting again!

I'm going to give this place four stars. The food was excellent but the service was just okay. It's in Old Town in Huntington Beach. There are two separate parking lots, one closer and one far away. It's not easy to figure out where to go. It looks like an old village in Europe. Inside the restaurant islarge, with lots of tables and chairs. It's modeled after a German Bar with food and beer. There is an outdoor section with tables. It's not fancy, but it all works together. They have a huge menu with no pictures. In order to pick your item, it is best to look at Yelp for pictures of their food. They have a block of wood on each table. If you need anything, put the red block on top. A server will come over. It works, but our server had a hard time smiling or asking us how we were doing. It was okay. I felt a little bit like I was in a cafeteria, not a fine dining experience. It's a shame because the Schnitzel was excellent. They only serve Hibiscus tea, not the traditional black tea you can get anywhere else in California. I thought that was strange. For the price, we should get something free? At Muldoons Irish Pub, you get soda bread. Maybe a pretzel to share? It would go a long way to attract more customers, maybe? The sausage was bland and not very hot. The scallop potatoes were fantastic, just like the way my mother made them. This place is a solid three star restaurant, but that Schnitzel is off the charts good. I would go back for it.

I was so glad we made a reservation because they were busy when we arrived but had a table ready with our name on it! I brought my father here from out of town for his birthday and he said this is one of the best birthdays he has ever had and he wishes he could return tomorrow! The food is delicious and there is an extensive list of German beer on tap. I'm not a big beer fan so I loved having the cider option and we also had some of their cocktails.

What a lively restaurant! The staff were super friendly and people are allowed here. They even have live music on the weekend. They are not connected to the other part that has a concert, but the food is typical German food and customer services on point. The decor is very German like and I think you'll have a good time no matter what.

I came to Biergarten at Old World for the first time this weekend for their Pretzel Festival. First off, the area is so cute. You'll feel like you've been transported to a little German village, right here in Orange County! At first I was a little disappointed by the festival, but the staff made everything better. To clarify, I LOVE soft pretzels and was so excited to try all their cool combos (especially after seeing some on social media). The thing that was really disappointing, was that the pretzels were sitting out, not being warmed and were completely hard and nearly inedible. I spent $62 on 3 pretzels, sauces and pickles, and the pretzels were not worth the price. My friend and I spoke to the staff to let them know and they went above and beyond to make things right - it improved our whole experience! We ended up getting the pretzel sandwich, which is warm with gooey cheese and warm ham and it was sooo good! It paired perfectly with the various dipping sauces. Also, we got the cinnamon sugar bites and they were so tasty! I wish I had them right now! I'm addition to the pretzels, they also had multiple stations for beer and a full bar. The bartenders were all super awesome. The bar manager made me a mocktail -- lavender lemonade and it was sooo tasty! Sadly the security would not let me take it to-go, because they "couldn't verify it didn't have alcohol" -- even though it comes in a different cup than the cocktails. One of my favorite parts about this space was the indoor concert hall with dance floor. They had great bands and everyone was really into it. Overall, while it was somewhat of a mixed experience, I'd still come back, especially since the staff were really helpful and friendly!

Old World Café & Restaurant is one of those spots that never disappoints. Today I had a spicy Italian turkey sandwich with freshly sliced German salami on rye, loaded with German mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onion. They do have cheese, but I'm lactose intolerant -- and trust me, this sandwich didn't need it. Everything here tastes like it was made with care. The bagel dogs with smoked sausage and sauerkraut are ridiculous, the pastries are next-level, and the gelato? Imported straight from Italy. You can taste the difference -- it's the real deal. Plus, it's not just about the food. They've got a full restaurant and bar on the other side, live entertainment, tons of outdoor seating, and the kind of service that actually makes you want to come back. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back weekend spot, or even just a solid place to grab lunch during the week, Old World has it. The vibes are always good, the food is always great, and honestly -- who needs a passport to Germany when you can just step through these doors? I tried Biergarten for the first time today and had a great experience. The decor inside is very nice. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic German food such as schnitzel, sausage, and sausage rolls. I ordered the pork Jager schnitzel with mushroom gravy. The pork was extremely tender and juicy. The gravy was tasty as well. For the side, I chose the scalloped potatoes. They were incredibly delicious and very delicious. The sausage trio appetizer was also food. However,the the service was just okay. The servers were not very friendly. The parking situation is difficult as well.

On this occasion I ordered two delicious small bites at the restaurant, the Sausage Trio and the Jäger Fries. Nothing small about these orders. I highly recommend trying these out! And of course I had to pair them with a delicious Maß of Weihenstephaner Helles! The lively, relaxed and welcoming vibe pairs well with any bier!! Prost!!

The restaurant is located among a cluster of other eateries, boutiques and medical offices. Picturesque. Multiple Instagram-able opportunities. Fantastic customer service. Food was Superb! Biergarten Restaurant. Enter a German chalet: cobble stone floors, pseudo-wood log walls with exposed overhead beams, and stained glass windows. Went for lunch on a Friday. 11am Immediately seated. Drinks & menus quickly appeared. Within 30 minutes the inside seating started to fill up. Because of evening musical entertainment the restaurant also offers outdoor seating in a cozy covered alcove. Love the wood-block tool used to signal service. One side of the block is painted red (meaning we're good), and the other side painted green (need service, please). We asked for menu suggestions. - Chicken Schnitzel fresh, crispy, partially smothered with a delightful cream gravy. Potato salad. Rate 9/10. - Chicken Schnitzel sandwich. Delightful schnitzel served with lettuce, tomato, white onions, and avocado on a brioche bun. Just typing this made my mouth water all over again. Yum. Rate 10/10. Served with red cabbage, which was slightly sweet & vinegary. I'd rate the cabbage a 7/10. They offer a host of sides. See menu. - Kasespatzle Cheese Noodles. Noodle bits sautéed in caramelized onions, chopped bacon covered in cheese then baked in a caste iron skillet. Shareable. For me, this dish was star of the meal. Rate 10/10. On our way out, my lunch companion stopped at the accompanying delicatessen where she purchased pre-made salads, deli meats and specialty cookies for her family. We'll be back with our luncheon group.

I've been attending the Oktoberfest here for over 10 years and I don't know if its the nostalgia but I truly love it. It's a good size where you don't feel overwhelmed with the crowd. They do a good job with the live music and various competitions throughout the night, and the bartenders keep the lines moving quickly. I always appreciate the assortment of German beers they offer on tap. I really enjoy the food and I noticed this year that they have 3 types of sausage to choose from, as well as a giant ham and cheese pretzel. I like to come during the week as it's less crowded than the weekends and easier to get a table. You can reserve tables inside as well.

Always a fun and festive time! You feel transported to Germany every time. We came on a Saturday and they had a real German polka band that adds so much to the experience. Service was great...everyone was sooo attentive and ON it! Schnitzel and potato salad are my faves.

Spontaneously came here to eat for the first time. It was very friendly service at first but could have been more attentive. An entree was forgotten (cooks & server) and when we advised our concerns their response was why we didn't ring the alarm sooner? Overall the food was phenomenal, but I would train the staff on the correct/polite way to answer. I would return.

Can I give ten stars? I was here for a delicious dinner of Pork Schnitzel. I then ate some German Chocolate cake. Later I had a Bratwurst. I stayed to see the Johnny Cash tribute concert. Food first. The Pork Schnitzel with mushroom bacon gravy was so good. I had mashed potatoes as my side so I could soak up all the gravy and not leave anything behind. My plate was clean. I really loved the German Chocolate cake was also yummy. At the concert I had the Bratwurst with lots of brown mustard. Brats are a favorite of mine; this was on the top of the list as one of the best I've had. The concert was next. There was a Dolly Parton tribute before Johnny Cash. Not a big fan of hers. I was here for the main event. The Cash tribute was so good I didn't want it to end. The concert hall is small. Seating is at tables that you reserve. You could also sit outside if you wish. My standing room location was so close to the stage. I couldn't have been happier. Next time however I will purchase a table. Overall, I had a great time. I will surely return for another event. Great service, yummy food, and a fun concert.

We celebrated my birthday recently here, at my youngest son's suggestion. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Three waiters even sang "Happy Birthday" to me when they brought the dessert! I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!

We really like this restaurant. So fun! We came here for lunch for Mother's Day and they were giving every woman a rose. They also had live music with two guys who were such talented singers. Orders were taken and delivered without issues. Our waiters were great at checking on us. We had a party of 8 and everyone ordered something different. I got to try all the different dishes and I have to say that my favorites were the pork and chicken schnitzels. The sausage appetizer was good too. I like that we could choose any side dish with our mains. They had a big list. The cocktails were good too.

We were in the mood for a fun adventure on a sunday afternoon. Lucky for us, it was St. Patty's day weekend which gave us lots of options to grab a green beer and have a good time. Old World was the most obvious choice and headed there for a bit of fun at their Irish Fest. Arrived in the afternoon around 3:30pm and were pleased with the amount of ample (free) parking. I honestly love this venue. Its like a cute little quaint town once you get inside. Totally adorable. Once inside the fest, we got in line for some green beer (duh) and opted for the grapefruit hefeweizen. Totally delicious, but super low in alcohol content (2%) which we didn't notice until later, but didn't mind. The place was happenin' with Irish music, tons of folks in green, and tons of great entertainment for all ages. I, personally was impressed by the amount of alcohol stations in the place. Really cut down the amount of waiting around for a drink. For me, the highlight was the food. I'm not super well versed in bratwurst, but the one we had was delicious! Covered in sauerkraut (with bacon bits) which added tons of flavor. We also had the gigantic pretzel sandwich - super yummy. After a little bit of entertainment, we headed inside the restaurant for a seat and some dessert. I loved loved loved the apple strudel and my "lucky charm" cocktail. Both were great. Fun time at Old World! I noticed that they have tons of other fests coming up and i'm totally looking forward to come to the next one!

We always have the best time. Good is consistently great. Beer is cold and during October get the pleasure of German music, and a little bit more of a lively crowd. But all in all we look forward to going.

Our favorite market for European deli meats. The restaurant is a bonus. Food is always delicious and fresh. I would recommend the garlic green beans - they are amazing. Plenty of parking available. A great place for the whole family.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my two friends - it was a lovely day, and the outdoor seating was simple, yet aesthetically pleasing (though a bee occasionally terrorized us). I ended up ordering a polish sausage, and we also ordered a Bavarian pretzel and some kind of limited menu item (some form of savory dumpling). The food was so yummy and salty, and I especially enjoyed the bouncing and texture of the sausage. The pretzels also paired really well with the provided sauces - the mustard especially. I will say I felt really greasy afterwards, but that's on us for only ordering greasy foods. Overall, a good first experience with German food. I'd like to come back again during a non-Christmas time and see how different it will be. Santa showed up and jump-scared me, so coming at Christmas was pretty fun.

The Beatles band played 3 sets. I was okay with earplugs until the 3rd set, when volume was absolutely deafening, even with my earplugs. The sound was no longer clear and I couldn't get some of the lyrics. This totally ruined the whole experience. Food was good. I had a very thin slice of breaded and fried chicken schnitzel, German potato salad, a slice of apple strudel, and a can of Diet Coke for $37.65!!! Very Pricey, but tasted pretty good.

Biergarten is a charming restaurant located in European inspired, Old World Village. It is both a restaurant, deli, pastry shop and mini-store all in one. Most of the shops surrounding the restaurant were closed Saturday evening but there was a concert at the venue attached to the restaurant. I was lucky enough to sit by the bar and could see the concert playing in the adjoining room for the night while eating dinner. For service, Biergarten uses a unique service - a wood block painted half green and half red. You turn the green side up for service. Staff is dressed in European style costume, adding to the immersive ambiance. Menu is diverse and we ordered the French onion soup, cheese potato special, garlic green beans and polish sausage. Everything was super filling and I would order it all again!

Love coming here for German events, including Sausage Fest and Oktoberfest. It does get crowded, but that's part of the fun. Arrive early and get a seat, or reserve a table for a few extra dollars. There's always a great selection of Bavarian food that will easily fill you up. Many of the items can be shared because they're large orders and on the heavy side. It also keeps the cost down since that's the only downside here. Having just gotten back from the real Oktoberfest in Munich, I couldn't help but notice the cost difference. A liter of beer (2.6 US beers) in Munich was $15. One 20 oz. glass here was $20. That being said, I love the venue and atmosphere with the singing and dancing. There's lots of seating inside and outside and everyone is always in a good mood.

Very fun atmosphere. I'm sure weekends are incredibly busy. Pretzel sandwich was served on a large Bavarian pretzel with several dipping sauces. The Jager fries were much like poutine without cheese curds. Their perfect margarita came with a shot of gran marnier on the side and was quite delicious. Finished our lunch with a lovely cake flight with a variety of five different options. All quite good. Really enjoyed the visit

I enjoyed the food at his location overall. Checked in the front and was seated outside. I like that they have a green/red object that indicates for the servers to come or not. I got these items. Nurnberger - This was delicious. Simple, clean, but hit hard. Get all the toppings its worth. (4/5) Jaeger Schnitzel - They initially gave us the schnitzel without the sauce but we had it returned and they added it. The sauce is a game changer and delicious. Portion was pretty big and the schnitzel was crispy. (4.5/5) The holiday drinks were also tasty and they don't skimp out on the alcohol. Overall liked this little German spot. There was some mishaps on service and the items we had but I enjoyed the food and vibe here.

Delicios German food and old world ambiance here - been missing access to real German beer and food since Alpine Village closed in Torrance last year. Service here is pretty good despite always being pretty packed and busy - just use the wooden blocks painted red and green - turn to green end up when you need a server to come over for an order or help, else keep it red side up. Pretty typical but expansive German menu - beer menu is quite extensive! Try a lot of things and share with your friends - you won't be disappointed! Plan to be back for Oktoberfest! Oye oye oye!

Great place- but so busy that it was a bit chaotic. The place was so packed on a Sunday evening, that the waitress kept mixing up our order and then we never got drinks for more than half hour, had to ask if everything was alright before she went to the counter and requested our drinks-by which time the mulled wine and pretzel were cold. They did the right thing though and replaced it with hot items after- so no love lost. Honestly would just try at a slower time cause the hot pretzel, sauces and beer were very good.

The star is only for the food and parking. We pre ordered our tickets and still had a wait over an hour In line, while new guests can walk up and purchase their tickets and go in before us. This was ridiculous. They oversold, the only thing that was good was the food. Everything was confined to a single section. Seating was extremely minimal, and I've been to a lot of places.

Let's try something new. Me and my nephew decided to try something new. Biergarten was a great choice. I have had German food before but Biergarten was exceptional. Located in Old World in Huntington Beach. There is a great deli and bakery at the entrance. The waitress was wearing what I think are lederhosen and the food and decor are authentic. Try Biergarten when u are in the Huntington Beach area and take a stroll through the German village the whole experience is great!

The Biergarten really never disappoints! The curry wurst always hits the spot! The cabbage soup was just delicious and the jaeger french fries is to die for! We enjoy our lunch here...oftentimes on a Saturday afternoon when we have to do some grocery shopping at the store next door. Service is always great and we love to sit outside. 10/10

Fun place! This Old World German Village is very charming. You can walk around and have afternoon tea, eat pretzels, drink beer, shop, and just have fun. Lots of parking it's across the street from a Costco. Come here and you would love it!

First time visiting Biergarten at Old World HB, and for the most part, I am pretty impressed. Prior to the concert, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the service and food were great. The only issue, and this is a biggie, the bathrooms are NASTY! If you would have asked me the last time I thought someone checked them for cleanliness and supplies, I would say 3 days ago. That's how yucky they are. As for the food though, YUMMY! I had the schnitzel sandwich and fries, and it was so good! So much flavor, and the fries were perfect crispy and salty. The concert venue is the real star of this place. The whole back area has food (more limited than the restaurant menu), great drinks with super friendly bartender. There's tons of table, and a huge dance floor. Overall, a great location.

We got seated promptly and we were ready to order our food and drinks.... But somehow a big table next to us managed to order first and that's when we believe everything got derailed. My beef rouladen made it first, and I didn't want to eat before everyone else, so it got cold. The two burgers and the appetizer (fried Brie cheese) made it next and we still had one adult without food... many minutes later, the schnitzel made it to the table. I don't recall a restaurant bringing food with that many minutes of deference! But the kids enjoyed the burgers (one had a little pink that we threw away), and the schnitzel was the best we've ever had. The rouladen was... cold lol. The beers were good, cold and in stein glasses. We shared a cake-flight, we had princes cake, black Forrest cake, etc but the winner was the apple strudel. Would've been better warm and with Ice cream! It got louder as afternoon progressed, but nothing crazy, we left earlier in the night.

Love coming here for the Plum Festival and this year was no different! We came across the Biergarten after exploring the festival and decided to put our name down for a table. Though it looked pretty busy, we were able to get seated right away. The servers were sooo sweet, helpful, and attentive! I believe part of the reason why service flowed so easily here was because of those big red and green blocks they leave on everyone's table-- allowing the staff to know when it's time to come over and help us! Such an easy and effective system tbh. I also really appreciated how the servers took their time to chat with us and wanted to hear about our experience at Old World. My boyfriend and I ordered the Sausage Trio and the Jäger Fries and not longer after, it was ready at our table. First things first, I want to acknowledge that they mainly serve beer/pub food here, so everything pairs better when you're drinking. Unfortunately, we dug into our food without ordering any beer and found everything to be...INCREDIBLY salty. Funny enough, we were accidentally given a gigantic glass of their German beer and were told we could just keep it LOL. Was definitely a pleasant surprise and kept us going for the rest of the night! Although the food was a bit over-salted, we still enjoyed everything and finished all of the fries-- which was generously portioned! The fries alone could honestly feed up to 3-4 people. My favorite was definitely the sausage trio and I love how well it paired with the sauerkraut! They are mini sausages though, so they're definitely not the most filling-- especially if you're sharing with someone else like I did. The Biergarten in general exudes a charming and vibrant atmosphere with the outdoor space that includes rustic wooden tables and lots of colorful flowers. Guests can definitely enjoy a lively, communal vibe/aesthetic! With a diverse selection of craft beers and authentic German cuisine, the restaurant encourages socialization, which makes it a great place for gatherings! Overall, (minus the saltiness of some dishes) the service, food, and experience at the Biergarten was amazing and I'd love to visit here again one day and try more of what they have to offer!

Went here for lunch. The service here is not very good and the food is just ok. Not great, not bad.

The ambience is lovely. The seevice is a hit or miss, weekdays staff are helpful but weekends is a challenge. I will still go because i love their sausages.

It was lot of fun, first time for 6 of us. The staff was super friendly and I love the colored block they have to put up if service is needed.

Work ended early so I invited the hubby to happy hour. We decided on Biergarten coz we've never been there. Well, I'm glad we went coz this place didn't disappoint. The vibe was easygoing; it wasn't too busy yet. Our server was friendly and informed us about the red/green system. The items we ordered were tasty and delicious. Can't wait to return and enjoy their other offerings.

Parking is behind the restaurant/mall complex. Don't go past it. The hostess and servers were really nice and efficient. The inside decor is nice. It is a little dark. We got their pretzel and also a sausage on a bun as well as a whiskey sour. The pretzel was huge and came with cheese and mustard sauce. We asked for ranch and they also gave us garlic butter. The mustard was very good but much better on the sausage rather than the pretzel. The ranch and garlic butter were great with the pretzel. The sausage was a decent size but was overshadowed and overpowered by the many peppers and Sauerkraut, both of which were good. The sausage and bun at the Sausage Garden in Solvang are superior, but Biergarten's is not bad. The pretzel at both places is good but different styles. The whiskey sour was not watered down and was well flavored. On the whole, the service and experience was excellent and we would come back to try other stuff, but they just aren't as good as other comparable places we have been to elsewhere. 4 stars is about right.

Came to the Wurst Fest with a friend after finishing at Mayu Silk for Water Marbling which was only ten minutes away! I went yesterday which was Sunday and arrived around 115pm. There was no traffic to get into the streets of the event, and parking was actually pretty easy, and free! I found a spot right in the parking lot of the Old World and walked right in. The area was crowded in a good way, with a very spacious seating area that had plenty of shade! The beers were ice cold, my friend and I got the Oktoberfest, which was very refreshing on a hot day. We also decided to try the sausages. My friend went with the Elk sausage and got the mac and cheese, and I got the Duck/Bacon Sausage with a side of cucumer salad. Honestly the sides were big enough that we could have shared the food, but I ate my whole cucumber salad. I am not a particular fan of sausages, but mine tasted pretty good, topped with those onions and red peppers, and I think because I ate the cucumbers it felt balanced and not heavy in my belly. What a fun event with the band playing German music and people singing along and dancing! I loved it and felt like it was October (my favorite month) during June. Would love to come to more events here especially if they host an Octoberfest!

I mentioned this dinner was to celebrate my husband 72nd birthday and they sat us in an addition that look like the inside of a barn. We were a party of 13 I requested to be in the dining room even if they had to split us up. The service was just minimal. Take the orders and drop the food. The server had no personality. Of course she didn't need to have one either because she was getting an auto automatic tip. The food was marginal. The spatzle was horrible. The desserts were unappealing and tasteless. I have experience with German food. I lived in Germany, many years of my life, and they certainly need to do something about actually being on an authentic German restaurant. Obviously, I will not return. I will spread the word far and wide that this place is masquerading as authentic.

I came back to try the dinner at the restaurant and I have to say, not bad at all. My kid and I love the big*ss pretzel which it was gone within 3mins. The sausage was perfect with mustard and the Schweinshaxe or pork shank was perfectly cooked. Bring back memories of Germany trip. The service is good, can slow sometime (especially when you need something) but it's aok. The beers selection is great and perfectly paired well with the foods. The only thing is that the whole place is big but feel abit distant and cold at the beginning.

My friend and I popped in here during the holidays with our dogs, we loved that it was dog friendly. We got the pretzel, I consider myself a pretzel connoisseur and this pretzel wasn't really it. I felt like it lacked flavor. The beer was great. Service could have been better as it felt like they would forget about the outside patrons.

Had a great time this week at the beer garden at old world. It was very clean there in the whole staff was very very nice also. The beer was fresh and cold and hit the spot. For a change, the food didn't cost you an arm and a leg, and the portions were large. I have the black forest ham with cheese on a pretzel as a snack, and I was full for the evening. How are large party of 20 people had a great time and plenty of room.
