This is my first time ordering a cream cheese with salmon lox everything bagel. I also added to sunny side up eggs. The food quality is great!!! It tasted awesome and it was more food than I thought. The quantity was worth the price. The service was a little confusing, but I appreciate the cook helping me order because that is my first time there as a traveler. I recommend them. Fresh food and it’s made in front of you. No surprises. I would come again if I ever come back! 😎

Maybe I got the wrong thing. This place has great reviews so I wanted to stop by. The chicken salad needed salt, the focaccia was dry, the prices on the menu are a dollar more expensive than when you order online, and I seemed to have been up charged (paid 13 for a chicken salad sandwich with cheese and tomato). The service was fast and kind and the outdoor seating was nice.

I come here all the time for the past many years. Great place with good prices and a wide selection. The bagels in particular are quite good and well priced. It’s very continent and the staff are nice with short wait times usually. Keep up the good work!

I can't say enough fantastic things about this AMAZING diner! The food is fresh & homemade. You can choose deli sandwiches or hot lunch plates with giant portions & 2 sides! Lunch plates run as low as $12 with 2 sides. Check them out if you are hungry and in a hurry.

Wow. There Mexican burger is huge! Salads were good. A decent variety of lunch sandwiches, pasta and potato salad and yummy desserts.

Food shouldn’t be rocket science and these guys understands this. Fresh food, nice people and you can really feel they are passionate about their food. I would say at a very good price as well.

Best quick breakfast in New York. egg and bacon sandwich + coffee for only $6. This is a quiet place, it is located near central park and the natural history museum, a stone's throw from columbus square. The staff is kind and discreet, the place is clean and the food is plentiful and above all it leaves you full for the whole morning and even longer. Right portions and nice atmosphere.

As in other reviews the rotisary chicken was very good. I added carrot soup, which I never had. It was really good. My husband had a corned beef sandwich. The main problem i had was it looked like the food was sitting a while. Also, the bathroom odor was horrific. It ruined my appetite.

Yelp
Service is horrible! I very obviously ordered a lox omelette and they sent me three pieces of salmon in a container! When I called, the women who answered said I "was wrong" and denied any responsibility.

Yelp
Emerging from the space formerly occupied by Columbus Gourmet Foods is 72nd Eatery which opened a coupe of weeks ago. This fast casual restaurant is owned by the same people. The interior has been wonderfully renovated to a bright spacious space. There are plenty of seating inside and out with great views of Columbus Avenue. Staff is so very friendly; I was greeted as soon as I walked through the doors. Head chef, Chef Hollywood, was behind the counter the day I went for a visit and was busy chatting visitors up. While not a lot of the food is out on display, the menu is somewhat extensive. It boasts the usual American comfort food of burgers, sandwiches, soup, salad and heavily promotes their organic Rotisserie Chicken. Initially, I was going to try their rotisserie chicken but saw that they had some nice salmon on display. I ordered their Baked Salmon with 2 sides ($15.95). For the sides, I got Sweet Corn and Mashed Potatoes with gravy. The sides were good but clearly the salmon was the star. It was nice and flaky with a hint of citrus. It was cooked a little bit more well done that I usually like but I think that is because it was under the heating lamp for a while. A pretty good dish that is filling but light. Glad I tried it. Will definitely be back to try their Rotisserie Chicken and other items on the menu.

Yelp
Had a very nice southwest chicken salad and a black and white cookie at this deli! Very affordable lunch considering the prices elsewhere. Chicken salad was a bit basic; could have used some onions or celery for crunch. Would happily come back here as they have a big selection and it all seems quality.

Yelp
Great place. This was my family's breakfast spot last Spring for a week. Quick, delicious eggs, toast, potatoes, and coffee. The cashier lady is friendly, and the cook is attentive and tries to make exactly what you want customized-style. I noticed they looked good for lunch too with soups, salads, and sandwiches. We weren't going to break the bank for eggs and bread so this was perfect.

Yelp
Food is AMAZING! Cheeseburgers, turkey burgers, fries were perfect. BUT THE PANCAKES ARE THE BEST!! The place is a little small and busy, but they really keep thinks moving. Super nice staff who wants your experience to be the best. We came once just walking in, than made sure to come again later in our trip. I just wish they had Splenda for my coffee. They only had equal.

Yelp
I love going into this place for just a coffee and bagel or sandwich! Their food is VERY good, and the prices are amazing! You can get an "everything bagel with veg cream cheese for $3.25. Additionally, the employees (as well as the owner!) are very friendly. You can eat inside or, in good weather, at tables outside the eatery.

Yelp
Went in there because of the bad storm today, I work near by. Asked for a hot toasted Sandwich. Toasted roll with melted mozzarella Cheese with fried bacon and ham. (plain monte Christo with melted Mozzarella cheese . Instead, the roll was on toasted only on the outside. and the ham cheese was microwaved to melt. had them do it twice. Basically, I Paid 13 dollars for a rubber Sandwitch. The Correct way. Put roll with the cheese on top of the bread in a toaster oven till cooked. then fry ham and bacon on the grill. then add between the melted grill cheese. It is not rocket science.

Yelp
I received a gift card valid for 90 days for this Eatery at 261 Columbus Avenue. It was dated July. I went there is August, but the place refused to accept it. The response was: "We discontinued it".
