Trio Coffee house Palmdale

First time trying Trio Coffee House. This was recommended by the staff at the nearby hospital. It's a very small, unique coffee house. The inside seating is limited to approximately twenty. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly service. I ended on getting their drip coffee, which was medium roast. Their coffee is so smooth and robust. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered one cinnamon roll and a chocolate croissant. Great cinnamon roll with delicious icing. The croissant was so so but also fair. Hi would highly recommend that you try this epic coffee house.

I'm going to be honest. I went there for the first time a week ago. I tried the cold brew cookie crunch and the coffee was very sour. I couldn't drink it. I asked for a cheese Danish warmed up and it was warmed up in a microwave which made it too hot and soggy. So I was a little disappointed. I gave it a second try today and tried the Pumpkin Horchata and it was delicious. I'll be going back for that and getting a large one next time. Hehe. The service can be improved. No complaints, I just think they can be a little more energetic and nice.

This was one of the most disappointing coffee shop visits I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it didn’t feel welcoming. The “welcome in” from staff was so dry it seemed like they didn’t even want to be there. The environment itself felt cramped and uncomfortable, which didn’t help the first impression. What really concerned me was the lack of an LA County Health Letter Grade anywhere in sight. That’s usually one of the first things I look for, and not seeing it makes me question the cleanliness of the entire operation. On top of that, the ice machine was wide open with obvious calcium build-up inside, and the espresso bar area looked unkempt with coffee grounds scattered all over. None of that gave me confidence in how this shop is run. Service didn’t make things better. The cashier wasn’t sure how to answer basic questions about the menu and didn’t even bother to be upfront about not knowing. My wife’s drink came out grainy, and both of our drinks were overly sweet to the point where the coffee flavor was completely lost. It honestly felt like everything relied on Monin syrups instead of any real effort or quality. Overall, the experience was unpleasant from start to finish; poor service, questionable cleanliness, and drinks that weren’t worth finishing. I won’t be coming back, and I’d recommend checking out other nearby coffee shops that actually put care into their drinks and customer service.

Ordered a small 12oz Latte with the one shot. Waited 30 mins - there were probably 5-6 people in front of me of me. This is ridiculously slow. The coffee was way too weak to the point you couldn’t even taste the coffee - just sweet milk. Two shots should be standard!! Reddit recommended this cafe and it was a bit disappointing but am not surprised as after trying several cafes, it seems making a simple Latte without 3 pumps of some b/s flavour is beyond coffee shops.

There matcha is amazing i haven't tried the coffee yet, there almost there with the consistency sometimes my matcha comes out to sweet sometimes it doesn’t but it always is good. One complaint is that some workers will be on their phones in-front of customers which can cause frustration because it is a bit of a wait for your drink.

I occasionally visit the area, and on one of my trips to Palmdale, I discovered Trip Coffee House. Ever since, it’s become a regular stop whenever I’m nearby. I’ve tried a variety of their lattes, and each one has been excellent—smooth, flavorful, and consistently well made. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the experience. Highly recommended for fellow coffee lovers!

This cafe is new and I'm surprised it was so good!! The drinks hit the spot and the pesto croissant and jalapeño ham and cheese bagel was so darn delicious!!!! Loved the environment and the workers were so sweet! We will definitely be back!!!

I come here just for the Matcha. I do online pick up because it gets busy on the weekends. But it's all I think about the whole week, "Ima get a matcha on Saturday" LOL. There breakfast bagels and sandwiches are also sooo yummmy.

Awesome little shop. The cold brew had a dark, roasty flavor with a little bit of natural sweetness. The sandwich was amazing as well, starts life as a jalapeño bagel, gets ham and cheese applied and then thrown into the panini press. Staff was quick and efficient, pleasant to deal with. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area.

I ordered a coffee thinking it would be hot, but it came iced. When I explained this, the manager said I'd have to pay 50% of the cost for a remake. Most coffee shops are happy to remake a drink without question if there's any confusion, so I was ultimately disappointed with the service here. When I told the manager wow I probably won't ever come back because of this, she then offered to remake it for FREE but by that point I didn't feel comfortable or trust the situation enough to accept it. I really hate this because I'm not a difficult person at all, and I do understand their policy, but I don't like iced coffee and expected my drink to be hot. And I didn't even drink it, I told them right away that I thought my drink was hot. From now on, I'll make sure specify "hot" and double check when ordering anywhere because of this experience. I brought my daughter home a watered down iced coffee so my money doesn't go to waste. :-( On top of that, this coffee shop itself is very small and crowded, and the staff hasn't been friendly either time I've visited. Which is very uninviting. This feels like more of a grab-and-go kind of place rather than somewhere to enjoy your coffee.

After 1.5 hours on the glorious 5 freeway (because...LA), my body staged a caffeine protest. Luckily, I saw this coffee house and it did not disappoint. The menu was clear, with plenty of signage and even a dedicated fall menu for all the PSL enthusiasts (noted for next time). The wait was about 10-15 minutes for two iced lattes and a blueberry loaf. Must try: iced vanilla latte with pistachio foam--smooth, sweet, and just the pick-me-up you need. The blueberry loaf was perfectly moist. As someone who doesn't venture out to Antelope Valley often, this place is officially a must try. Worth the stop, worth the foam, and worth ditching the grab-and-go from the gas station.

I was craving a chai and I saw they had a strawberry option to choose from. It did not disappoint, the subtle hint of strawberry made this drink a little sweet with just the right amount. The chai had really good flavoring too! This spot is located in the Albertsons parking lot to the left of the store. It is small inside but there is more seating in the back. A variety of drink options to choose from and some fresh baked goods too, unfortunately, none of them were gluten-free. Service was great, friendly baristas and drinks came out quickly.

TL;DR: if something is wrong with your drink, you have to buy a new one at 50% off, they don't remake it. Let me start by saying I do love this place. They have great drinks with fun flavor combinations, especially in the fall. It is a small shop but if you're lucky you'll find seating in the back where it's more quiet. Needless to say I've been coming here for quite some time and recently had my first not so great experience. We ordered 2 Berrychata lattes off their summer menu. Now I didn't go into this order blind as I've had the horchata latte and their strawberry matcha before, and never had an issue. This time around, the horchata was grainy like it wasn't strained, and the berry flavor was a bit too artificial and over powering. You couldn't even taste the espresso. Upon taking that first sip, my bff and I looked each other almost simultaneously. This was AFTER we already posted to our stories hyping up Trio as we always do, because yay for Woman owned small business! After much deliberation and hesitation, we returned to the drink counter in hopes of having it remade or just getting a new drink all together. Instead of remaking the drinks, we were offered to add more milk to the current drinks or to buy 2 new drinks at a 50% discount. I was both surprised and let down at that response especially when it was a quality issue and not a picky complaint. I understand everything is more expensive these days but bruh. I went ahead and bought the 2 new drinks (Mexican mocha iced). When ordering with a different girl at the register she asked what the problem was and acknowledged that they've received a number of comments about the horchata. *stares in disbelief* I paid, got our drinks, and sat my ass down in shock like I just got hustled. We deleted our posts on socials as a result of said hustle. Anyway, I'll still go to Trio but now I know better than to stray off the beaten path to explore new flavors because you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. Unless you pay for it of course.

I've been a customer at Trio Coffee House in Palmdale for quite some time. While the service was okay at first, over time l've consistently witnessed how poorly management treats their staff. Employees are treated more like machines than human beings, with little regard for their well being. I've noticed long term, original employee I loved seeing being let go and replaced, only for the same cycle to continue. It's incredibly disappointing and honestly disturbing to see. Despite this, I continued to support the business because I enjoyed the coffee. I even decided to drive a bit further to try the newer Quartz Hill location, hoping for a better experience unfortunately, it was even worse. The service was absolutely horrible. The staff came off extremely rude, disrespectful, and had some of the worst attitudes l've experienced in customer service, especially the little red heads. On top of that, the drinks were extremely watered down and tasted gross, which was the final straw. Between the treatment of employees, the poor service, and the declining quality, I can no longer justify supporting this business. I truly hope management takes accountability and makes serious changes, because this place has a lot of potential but right now, it's a major disappointment. Do better.

Great service as always. Clean and they offer the best options for seasonal drinks. This time around is pumpkin everything! Coming back again for sure.

It's tucked away in a little plaza. It was busy inside when I walked in. I ordered one of their springtime sips- Blueberry Matcha mist. It is blueberry infused matcha with blueberry puree. It's a sweet drink combination and works beautifully together as a sweet, earthy blend. It's the kind of drink that makes me want to get another one. Parking- big parking lot shared with other businesses

I just moved to Palmdale and I was looking for my new coffee spot. I'm so glad I found Trio! It's super cute on the inside and the baristas are welcoming and have their work cut out for them! It's super busy some mornings and they handle the lines super well. I like how there's plenty of seating too while you wait and they have free wifi if you need to do work or homework. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious!

My cousin recommended we tried this spot since we were in the area. Let me start with the aesthetics of this coffee shop. They have the cutest coffee artwork that reminds me of cuphead. They have multiple tables set up in door where you can catch up on studying or catch up with your friends. If you want a cute tote bag they have that in stock too. Now the coffee, I got a Spanish latte and a Mexican mocha latte. For both lattes I paid a little under $14. They were both pretty different from each other. The Spanish latte was more of a macchiato and it was a little too sweet. You could still taste the espresso but the sweetness made it a little hard to enjoy. The Mexican mocha had a lot of cinnamon and chocolate notes. This one wasn't as sweet but there was a lot of graininess in the coffee from the cinnamon and chocolate. I do wish their milk alternatives weren't as expensive ($1.25). It really makes you reconsider if you want to spend $8+ on coffee.

I usually stop for their yummy seasonal coffee flights. However tried their chile verde burrito (which I think is a new item?) Bomb! Def recommend.

Cute little coffee shop. I was so glad to had found this little gem. A co worker recommended this spot as I am still new to the AV. I stopped here after shopping at Sam's and let me tell you this latte did not disappoint. I tried the horchata iced latte and it was so delicious. It was the right balance of sweet with coffee and very creamy, I loved that I was able to taste the coffee on this. I also appreciated the kind cashier that recommended this to me. I will definitely be back.

My friends and I have been dying to try this place. We all ordered a Vanilla Matcha Latte which was just okay. I don't think it's the best matcha I've had so maybe next time I'll try something different. The drinks are around $7 to $8 for a medium, a little pricey! I went here two mornings in a row after being on a family emergency in Palmdale, I got to try to Spanish latte, vanilla latte and pistachio cold foam, as well as the caramel brûlée latte. My favorite one was the Spanish latte by far! I could not really taste the pistachio in the vanilla latte with pistachio but it was still good. The service was friendly but a little slow on both days, which is worth it for good coffee! But just a heads up for those in a rush. My fiancé also had lemonades and enjoyed them. I would definitely go again when I am in the area again.

I really like this coffee shop! I love how they have coconut milk as an alternative, not too many shops offer coconut milk so we love to see it. I came two days in a row. The coffee is great, the matcha is a bold flavor and the strawberry syrup or purée tasted very fresh. I love how you can order ahead online. The service is fast. There's not much seating inside but it's still a cute spot to hang with friends. Plus there is lots of parking.

Came to Palmdale to visit some family & this coffee spot was the closest so I definitely had to try it out. The place is cute but a bit cramped, not a big deal tho. All the girls that were working were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend coming to try out their specialties or just in general.

Found this local coffee shop when I was in the area. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The inside has a good amount of space to hangout or study, with free WiFi and a couple outlets. The workers were really friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the drinks! I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with Coconut Cold Foam, and it was delicious! The matcha was a good flavor and paired well with the coconut foam on top. It was on the sweeter side, but not overly sweet. My fiancé ordered an Iced Americano with Vanilla Cold Foam. He liked the drink and thought the espresso was strong, but he did want a bit more cold foam as his didn't have as much. Overall, I was impressed with the drinks and service!

This is my favorite coffee shop to when I come to town! They've recently done some upgrades, created really cute merch, a drink menu for each season, and have plenty of seating for studying, a coffee date, etc. The employees are very nice and positive which makes this place a 5/5 spot for me! I usually order a regular cappuccino, an iced Spanish latte, or a specialty matcha and they haven't disappointed! Food wise, the jalapeño and cheddar croissant is always the go to. As a local Palmdale resident, it's nice to have a coffee shop with cool vibes close by

Trio is my go to spot for matcha or coffee whenever I'm in town. My favorite drink here is the Banana Matcha. The drinks are always consistent and very tasty! They also offer seasonal drinks that have their own little twist. Highly recommend coming to Trio if you're craving a sweet treat in Palmdale.

The BEST coffee spot in the AV!!!! I don't care who says otherwise. Their staff is friendly, lots of parking and their match omg their matcha. It smells amazing, its clean and their menu is pure perfection.

The Horchata Latte was so delicious. I can't wait to come again! My bread was flavored and warmed. The little happy face on my pastry made my day. Cute coffee shop to read/study. 10/10

I wish I didn't LOVE this coffee shop so much, I'd probably save soo much money but the vibes and COFFEE are sooo good it's worth it! Only thing "bad" I would have to say is that sometimes it does get insanely busy, but what else could you expect from a business that makes fire coffee also, if you're in a rush they have the option to order ahead on their website.. I definitely take advantage of that on days I have to make it in to work!

Was greeted with kind service , their matcha and coffee drinks personally taste better than Starbucks and prices better as well. They're ham and cheese jalepeno bagel . Bomb Definitely my go to spot now

I used to always walk past this coffee shop going to UPS to drop off packages. Then I saw a group of people walking out with iced coffee cups so I had to check it out. It definitely has a good following of customers. There's a good amount of seating in the front as well as a few spots towards the back of the shop too. The coffee is AMAZING!!! I love the Mazapan cause Dela Rosa is one of my favorite!!!! And their horchata latte is also a top favorite of mine.

I ordered an Oat-chata and a chocolate muffin. Wow. It was NOT disappointing at all! Even the baristas are soo friendly and welcoming. There is lots of love in the room. Was waiting quite a while to try this place, and I'm so glad it did not disappoint me. It was quite busy today, but it's understandable. I hope this small business continues to grow and thrive. Loved this coffee house. Even their breakfast options are so good we tried their Spanish latte, horchata latte and matcha. would highly recommend! The service was excellent and it was really the best tasting coffee I had in a long time

Their drinks are good. We ordered ahead of time online however everything has an up charge for add ons. My 16oz of iced matcha cost almost $10 which is definitely on the pricier side. Want milk alternative to oat milk or almond milk? That's an additional $1.25. I never understood why some businesses charge for milk alternatives when some customers may not be able to drink regular whole milk example: they're lactose intolerant. Want cold foam? $1.25. Additional syrup flavors that's $0.80 each. Lattes are $6.50 - $7.50. It's good to grab once in a while but definitely not an everyday coffee type of place. Overall experience was okay but overpriced. This is in response to below message: Thank you for explaining your prices. However, $10 for a small matcha still feels high compared to other similar shops. I'd appreciate a more constructive response to feedback, rather than what feels like a condescending tone. Decided to try this place since I was in the area. I was a bit disappointed because the matcha was not good quality. High quality matcha is a bright green and as soon as I saw the color of my drink I could tell it wasn't going to be good. High quality matcha has a better taste. I got coconut milk and one pump of lavender, which shouldn't be too sweet. When I tried it, it was way too sweet. The place itself is cute and the workers were friendly so I'm giving it 3 stars. Probably won't be back to this place.

I brought my dad to meet his friend for coffee and we were not impressed. Tried to order a regular drip coffee at 9am only to be told they didn't have drip...at a coffee house. This is exactly why we steer clear of Starbucks. They're always trying to upsell. Not a good first impression. The decor is lacking also. The planters that blocked the street were removed from the front and it just doesn't look like a spot where you would want to hang out. For being its first week, it looks pretty shabby. My dad and his buddy said they don't need to return.

Food is good, service is also great with workers always being so friendly, but unfortunately the recent changes they made to the aesthetic is kind of awful and unwelcoming, I do miss the old aesthetic that was warm and friendly feeling made me want to enjoy a relaxing snack, tea, or coffee. Hopefully in the future they can change that back to the warm and comfortable environment that it used to have. But other than those things they're pretty good.

We got the Mexican mocha with cinnamon and the marry matcha. The matcha was my favorite the raspberry foam wasn't too sweet and paired nicely with the matcha. The baristas were sweet and helpful. It was very busy when we came in but we got our drinks pretty fast, it's a cute little coffee shop. Love the aesthetic of the inside it's clean and simple.

The service was very slow. Only one barista who is more interested in flirting with the other staff than actually making a decent shot of espresso when there was a long line up. The latte I ordered tasted very watered down and not good at all. Definitely won't be going back. Don't waste your money.

My take on Trio's matcha latte: When I was newer to the concept of matcha, Trio quickly became one of my go-to-spots. However, after exploring other cafes around the SFV and LA area, I've come to believe that Trio does not use the highest quality matcha. My usual order: Large iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk, strawberry cold foam and light ice. This usually comes out to $10.40, because of the additional charges for the milk substitute (over $1) and cold foam (possibly another $1, I'm not too sure). While the drink looks aesthetically pleasing upon receiving and is fairly tasty--mainly because its quite sweet--you're essentially paying premium price for what ends up tasting more like sugar in a cup than an actual matcha latte. Now that I'm more familiar with what true matcha should taste like, I find myself wishing I could actually taste the matcha in Trio's matcha latte. Additionally, Trio does have a certain appeal. I believe they are popular because they cater mostly to the audience of younger adults. They market their drinks to look aesthetically pleasing to the eye, which is definitely nice to see. Their coffee shop is also very cozy and inviting. They even sell merch which I admit is also pretty nice, but I personally wouldn't buy. They've definitely carved out a strong niche by checking off a lot of boxes: aesthetic presentation, community engagement, a meticulously crafted drink menu, and branding that resonates with their target audience. Unfortunately, there isn't another small business in the AV area that competes with all of that combined, which I believe plays a big role in Trio's popularity. For higher-quality options, you'd have to drive nearly an hour to the valley or even beyond, where the real gems are. Service-wise, I'd rate them 8/10. The staff are always inviting and friendly. However, when it gets busy, wait times can stretch from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the rush and order volume. Would I visit again? Definitely. Would I become a regular again? No, at least not for the matcha. The price just doesn't match the quality of what I am getting, especially when you factor in the costs of the add-ons. Disclaimer: I haven't tried their coffee or other drinks, as I am not a big coffee drinker. Pro: They offer seasonal menus, which is a refreshing way to keep their offerings exciting and up to date. Edit: The drink in the picture is a iced strawberry matcha latte. Apologies.

This place looks pretty busy often so I gave it a try. It wasn't great. It was OK. Very small indoor space. It was very hot inside. Not sure if they had any AC going.

Let me start by saying the coffee here is always amazing, and the staff is consistently friendly. I truly have no complaints when it comes to the quality the Baristas always make my drink perfectly, just the way I like it. While it is a bit pricey, they're comparable to big coffee chains, and I'd much rather support a local business. If I have one major hiccup its about the lack of staffing during the busy morning hours. There often seem to be only two Baristas handling both the register and drink orders. It typically takes around 10 minutes just to place an order and another 15-20 minute wait for the drink itself. I tried ordering online but the wait time online is a little crazy as well. If you want it ready by 7:45 make sure you order no later than 7:00. All in all, the quality of the drinks and the friendly service keep me coming back. I just hope they're able to bring on a bit more help during the morning rush.

As soon as you walk in here the ambiance is great. The service was good. The coffee is two thumbs up I loved the vanilla latte with pistachio foam.

Great customer service, drinks are good too, but I hate their lids. Maybe it's because of the cold foam, but when you try pulling the tab up it makes the drink/ foam splash everywhere

Amazing service. The drinks are affordable but as soon as you start getting add ons, the price will really skyrocket. Sucks but nothing wrong with a plane latte. Super good! The inside was cozy and well decorated. Just wish their dining area was a tad bigger since it does get cramped really easily but overall really great!
