A lively Saturday market with 100-plus vendors across produce, prepared foods, and crafts; its companion Night Market brings DJs and family activities. Covered by ABC7 and local outlets, it’s a downtown-adjacent favorite for residents.

Printers Row Farmers Market

Well I thought it was a great market. Not very big, but that suits the vibe of Printers Row in general, and to me there was a good range of fresh & baked & preserved goods, with flowers & a few other nicknacks as well. A great balance of vendors for a small space. Nice vibe, nice people, and lots of other small shops in the area make it worthwhile 👍

Compact, but comprehensive. Baked goods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses, and much more. Made-to-order meals also available.

If you do your shopping for the week at farmers markets, this one is much more intimate and less congested than Green City in Lincoln Park. Solely worth visiting for Hebron Farms’ goods. The bakeries also have a larger selection.

Probably the best farmers' market in the city....

Always glad to have this small Farmer's market in the neighborhood during the season (mid-June through late-October). I do wish it was open even an hour later… as most of the other farmer's markets in the city stay open until 3pm. Although it's a *much* smaller market than the others near by (Federal Plaza on Tuesday, and Daley Plaza on Thursday), it really does have a nice selection of seasonal produce, baked goods, cheese, eggs, bundles of flowers, etc. Some years, there has been vendors with made-to-order hot foods; dog treats; soaps & honeys… One thing I *really* wish would pop up is a vendor that has fresh milk (organic cow & goat), as well as a vendor that has a selection of fresh (refrigerated or flash-frozen) meat cuts. The chill vibe, sans hustle-bustle of the larger (weekday) markets makes for a perfectly charming, weekend outing in our awesome little neighborhood!

I'm sorry to say this neighborhood market gets steadily less satisfying. By now, only about half the vendors sell actual food, and among those, neither range nor quality is what we used to see. Leafy greens, herbs, and other staples you'd expect in abundance are barely on offer. Meanwhile, the profusion of tables selling books, candles, photos, wellness products, etc., only makes the tiny space feel even more needlessly cramped. The addition a few years ago of a loud stereo absolutely does not help. I like supporting the farmers but this particular market no longer serves as a useful grocery run or a relaxing stroll.

Nice selection of fruits, vegetables, and baked goods. One stand has great bouquets of flowers for $15. Go earlier because the selection dwindles by late morning and the market is basically done by 12:30.

Yelp
This is the best farmers market I've ever attended. The vegetables, fruits, fresh breads and pastries plus everything else they offer is amazing. I'm fortunate to live in this neighborhood.

Yelp
I've gone here a couple of times and it's usually a nice time but today it looked like a PetSmart . Everyone isn't ok with having dogs breath over their food. Some of the dogs were big and at eye level with the food. Barftastic!!! Do better. You're going to lose attendees. Make a South Loop Pet Farmers Market for people that won't leave their pets at home.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday to show my family. Lots of options here! They have your fresh, organic vegetables and fruits along with a couple of fresh juice bars, flowers, a donut shop, multiple bagel stands, a cheese tent, ice cream, empanadas, and many others. We ended up purchasing some raw honey made in chicago and some "boozy flavored" almonds from Deez Nuts. The weather was perfect. Will definitely be returning in the future to try some other options

Yelp
The greatest place in Chicago the annual farmer market. You get to see the whole world of culture and flavors.
