This is just an amazing theater and puts on some really incredible shows. It’s super comfortable and fun. I’ve been here a number of times and the sound is just incredible as well. Do yourself a favor and see the Nutcracker here at the end of the year if you can! It’s just the most beautiful thing. Really is one of my favorite theaters in Los Angeles and really worth checking out if you’re into any of the performance arts and especially musicals!

Jenni G.

Google
Absolutely gorgeous location! The design, and theatre is just awe-inspiring. I loved everything about this location. Support the arts and go here!

Google
I had an amazing time at the renowned Canadian Brass' holiday concert at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in early December 2025. Beverages and light snacks were available on each level before the performance and during intermission. Beautiful venue with fantastic acoustics!

Google
This place is amazing for shows. So many options for sitting. However it is best if you sit close to the stage. I prefer upside balcony chairs to see everything on the stage. But sitting behind is kind of hard to see. Another point is parking; it is 15$ fee, so you need to pay. It is very safe to walk around the parking garage after show.

Google
I have been to this place twice because of Naruto: symphony experience. And now to celebrate 20th anniversary of avatar the last airbender. The place is very clean and simple-- i am not sure for ADA part but I did see wheelchair users coming to see avatar the last Airbender. I hope their experience is champ as mine. I did see an elevator so i hope their navigation went wonderful and less or no hassle

Google
Went for the Avatar Last Airbender Orchestra show. It was my first time and I had a great time. The venue is beautiful and everything felt organized. Even though I sat pretty far back, I felt like I still had a good view of everything. There were bars and concession on each floor (I’m pretty sure). Parking lot will probably get a bit crazy when leaving but there are staff to help people get out. I definitely want to come back for other shows.

Google
This place has an amazing and innovative amphitheater with moving panels that can change the sound of the hall. They have some amazing performances here as well that will make you want to come back again and again. Not to mention that it is a beautiful building inside and out!

Wait Wait Don't Tell Me!!!!!!! Great experience at the Segerstrom Center. What a venue. It's gorgeousand perfect for the NPR news quiz! Thank you Peter Sagal!

Yelp
My friend's daughter was playing Clara in this production and we had to go. I've never seen a live ballet or been to Segerstrom. It was a real treat and such an amazing experience. I also went with my former ballerina friend and she was telling me of the difference between this production and others she has been in or watched. So interesting that even this classic ballet gets reinterpreted over time. We parked at South Coast Plaza and walked over. Please come and create your own experience.

Yelp
It has been many years since I was last here to see The Lion King. This time Jen wanted to see The Nutcracker. I was able to get two great orchestra seats (9th Row Center) and we coupled the experience across the street with dinner. Plenty of places to take photos (Christmas Trees, Nutcracker, Large Ornaments, Snowy Backdrops) and fellow patrons are always glad to reciprocate taking them for you. Nice little souvenir set-up, but recommend that you buy before the show and it will be crowded after the performance. Jen ordered a glass of wine, while I had a Pellegrino. Jen wasn't thrilled with their chardonnay. Even though there is a no late seating policy, several people were admitted after the performance started. Just a slight disruption, but assume they are making exceptions now. Jen loved the performance. For my first ballet, I appreciated the artistry and athleticism. One issue with seats as good as ours is that you hear everything on stage, like when the dancers land on the stage. We will most likely come back should we want to catch a play down the road and not want to travel to LA.

Yelp
From the moment we entered the parking garage...5 STAR TREATMENT ALL THE WAY ALL DAY!! the snack bar we ordered in advance...fantastic cookies! Our concierge was the most wonderful educated human ever! The venue is simply phenomenal! They gave us ADA assistance without us asking! We saw Nutcracker and it was the best performance we have ever seen! Well ligh, great bathrooms!

Yelp
Excellent venue. Intimate and cozy, yet large enough to attract great artists and shows. Well appointed and upscale. If you have access to the donor rooms, this is very comfortable where food and drinks are free. A nice respite among busy venue. All in all, Segerstrom Hall was great.

Yelp
The Segerstrom is a good theater for your plays, concerts, and musicals. The seating arrangement is done well enough to allow a clear view and sound for audiences. I recommend sitting in the orchestra section at least once! The theater does what it can to let audiences exit quickly, as there are many exits for each of the sections. However there will always be a bottleneck due to there being only two exits. The food and drink bar is nothing special, just average theater food with marked up prices.

Yelp
I love going to the Segerstrom for a show! I've gone to many shows and all have been top notch. The shows can vary from Broadway musicals to famous chefs telling their story. The theater is very large and tickets vary in pricing so you can usually find one that you're comfortable with. If you really like musicals, you can buy the entire season. Seats are comfortable and the view is pretty decent no matter where you sit. It sometimes can get loud (I had an issue with one musical) but now I bring earplugs just in case. There are plenty of restrooms but the line can get long during intermission. You can reserve snacks ahead of time to pick up during the break. There are also plenty of photo ops on each floor before each musical begins. There is also plenty of parking. Paid parking at the Segerstrom can vary from $15-30. I usually park at the South coast mall and walk over. That way, I can always grab dinner first before the show. Always a fun night out!

Yelp
It was great to see the Wait..wait don't tell me! podcast live at the Segerstrom. I got to see how long the show takes and hear it when it aired to see the difference. The differences is that they remove a lot of the not-for-radio jokes and do some retakes of parts they messed up on. Got to see Peter Sagal and asked him a question during the audience Q&A. Lots of seats here have a great view so you'll see most of the stage. I had the orchestra seats during this live taping.

Yelp
Today is the last day to see this spectacular spectacle of a ballet It's dark it's mysterious. It's exciting. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. The talent of the dancers , is immeasurable. The energy is extra extraordinary. You will feel the excitement to your core.

Yelp
Segerstrom Center is located across the street from South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and they're known for their consistent lineup of excellent Broadway productions. It's not uncommon for touring musicals to make a stop at Segerstrom after a stop at Ahmanson Theater or Pantages Theater. I've been here to see a few musicals now (Hamilton, Hadestown, &Juliet). I've also visited their smaller theater on this campus to listen to the Pacific Chorale. Overall, I think the venue has some good and not so good things that cause me to have a preference to LA-based theaters. The Good: They consistently bring in the best travelling musicals and plays. Cheap seats can cost significantly less than the LA shows, depending on the show (Not necessarily true for something like Hamilton or Wicked). If you are willing to take a short walk across the street, you can get free parking at South Coast Plaza near Maggiano's. The campus at Segerstrom is beautiful and there are plenty of places to have a drink and/or take a seat outside the venue. The Bad: The seating sections are positioned at weird angles, which can make cheap seats feel like cheap seats. The acoustics of the venue can be terrible at their main theater (at least in the cheap seats), so it's not my first choice for dialogue heavy productions. Had a poor experience watching Hadestown here, so I ended up watching the show when I went to NYC in the following season. My experience with &Juliet (which was comparatively fun and lighthearted) was pretty good. I wouldn't come here for something like Les Miserables. If you want close parking, self-parking near the theater is $15 and valet parking is likely higher.

Yelp
After Attending my first show 2024, Aladdin, I had such a great experience that I bought season pass for 2024-25 season for those exact seat/rows, which included 10 shows, I loved it so much that I renewed it for another season 2025-26, which also included 10 shows. I loved the season pass, you pick the day, seat and row, and those tickets are permanently yours for the whole season. My show will always be on a Thursday. overall great venue, the staff here are always nice and great customers service. All the broadway has beeb great so far. I love live performances, last season I really enjoyed back to the future, Hamilton, & juliet to name a few. This season, I have seen and loved Something like it's hot and Moulin Rouge. I cant wait to see harry potter, the wiz, and Phantom of the Opera for this upcoming season . The segerstrom is also right next to South Coast Plaza, i would always have dinner before, and then walk over to the Segerstrom. Overall Ive been really happy with the season pass and I can see myself having one for a very long time.

Yelp
Love everything about Segerstrom. Have seen quite a few performances with my husband, friends, and kids. Highly recommend their family series if you have young children. Bathrooms are well maintained. Variety of offerings at the bar. Everything is kept up very well and run quite efficiently. Service team is always great. Love Segerstrom and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Beautiful architecture! As a frequent patron of the Pantages, I was a little intimidated but I found the layout of the building to be nice and easy to navigate. We loved all of the mirrors and interior design. Concessions were easy peasy. I pre-ordered drinks and candy before the show and they were ready for pick at intermission. Bathroom lines were looooooong but moved pretty fast. Structured parking is super close and convenient. Bring cash!

Yelp
Beautiful venue. I've seen a Broadway show here but this review is for the FREE public tours they offer multiple times a week. You can book reservations for the tour online (10 AM start) and trained docents will take you all throughout the facility and show you how the center works behind-the-scenes. I learned so much about the center's intricate details, architecture, and groundbreaking features that make it one of the premier performing arts centers in the country. I opted for a Saturday morning tour and there were about 10 of us total in the group. The tour lasted about 90-minutes and we went through the Segerstrom Hall, Concert Hall, and other areas of the center that is typically closed off to the public during operating hours. We even got to go on stage! Really cool and educational for all ages. Highly recommend. Usually for free parking I park at South Coast Plaza and walk across the street or walk over the bridge.

Yelp
What a beautiful place. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. The seats we had weren't the best seats, but there was an obstruction. Luckily there were empty seats around us that we were able to move to for a better viewpoint. I thought the ushers would have told us to move back to our original seats, but they were nice enough and understanding to let us move into those open seats. I would come back here for another event, but I wouldn't pick the seats we had ever again.

Yelp
I've been a returning patron of Segerstrom Center for the Arts for over a decade now. I prefer this theater to making the trek to LA due to distance but that does not mean that they do not get the musicals that Los Angeles gets. They do for the most part get quite a few. I've seen so many here now that it's kind of becoming my favorite theater. The seats are comfortable and when you buy your ticket, you can check out the view from certain seats to make your selection. I used to have season tickets but this year I've been keeping it to one or two shows. I recently went to see & Juliet with my husband. We had matinee tickets and it was perfect. As much as I like an evening show, I much prefer the daytime ones. Once you find parking, make your way into the theater. The metal detectors and security folks do a decent job of getting patrons through quickly. Scan you tickets at the door and then make your way inside to your seats. Hot tip: Buy a drink or two at concessions to be served at Intermission. The phone reception inside the theater is spotty for a reason, you should not be on it while inside! Enjoy your show! If you have time before or after, check out the OC Museum of Art next door and the different restaurants nearby!
google avatar

Fred G.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with my experience taking in a Saturday Matinee performance at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, however there are a couple of things I think they can improve on. My wife and I saw Mamma Mia in the theater and we had a great time. We were seated towards the back and had no issues with hearing and the sound system seemed stellar. The ambiance was like we were at a broadway play. The service of the people at the entrance in scanning tickets and telling you where the relevant door was, was quite a nice touch as well. The one thing I have to call out is the food options. They only had snacks and extremely overpriced drinks. A small glass of wine was $22 which is wildly overpriced. They also only had candy and brownies/cookies and was disappointed they didn't have pre made sandwiches or something else. I understand they have a couple of sit down restaurants but that was confusing as well because the website indicated that they had a couple of restaurants on the premises but the ushers were confused when I referenced the places from the website to them. Either way, more food options and slightly lower prices would be nice but overall had a great time and glad we have such a high quality performing arts venue in Orange County
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of experiencing shows here for the past several years. Orange County is blessed to have such a beautiful facility as this: a venue that has consistently offered exceptionally well-performed shows. Watching "Life of Pi" was my most recent experience here and, Oh My" what a show! I, too, have been to Hollywood's Pantages theater and I enjoy this venue quite a bit more. For those wanted to purchase season tickets and for those desiring a treat on a special occasion, I highly recommend the Segerstrom Center.
google avatar

Lilah J.

Yelp
Was fortunate that my friends treated me to a musical for my birthday. Was here in January to watch a matinee showing of Back to the Future: the Musical. My husband dropped me off so I can't tell you how the parking is like in the structure. However there are nice, helpful staff outside directing patrons where to go. The theater is beautiful with an elegant feel. All the staff are kind. Restrooms were clean. Seating was comfortable. During intermission, there are snacks at the concession stand which are venue prices. One of my friends brought her own plastic water bottle in her purse. Shh! Don't tell anyone. Haha. I purchased a bag of Smart popcorn and a large cookie. That hit the spot and held me over until dinner time. The hubby and I stayed in the local area and the theater is super close to the Avenue of the Arts hotel. A delightful visit to a wonderful theater. If choosing between Pantages in Hollywood versus here in Orange County, Segerstrom for the win!

Yelp
My girlfriend had tickets for Hamilton. I'd been wanting to see it for years so I jumped at the chance to go with her. Honestly I haven't been a fan of the Segerstrom center in the past. I don't like all of the different tiers, it feels like there are a dozen different balconies. Fortunately wr had great seats, bottom level off to the right but not terribly far from center. The show was good and sitting in the lowest section was a better experience than I have had in the past. I'd go back if I have seats in the lowest section. Otherwise I'll pass and see the show at another venue.

Yelp
Visited Segerstrom Center for the Arts for VIBE Dance Competition, and wow did it not disappoint! The acoustics inside were amazing, and the appropriate staff were all well placed. As an added bonus, signal in the auditorium is difficult, and there's no Wi-Fi. However, there's Wi-Fi once you exit which - in my opinion - is a HUGE plus to get the audience's eyes off their phones. (Of course, if you have matters you must tend to, you may step outside to the lobby for a few minutes.)
google avatar

Cheryl R.

Yelp
This is a stellar venue for Broadway performances. Sound quality is outstanding. I recently saw A Beautiful Noise, the story of Neil Diamond, here. It was phenomenal! I've only had good seats reserved, but it appears that all seats have a good view of the stage. My only complaint is the same with the majority of venues: the ladies' room always has an extremely long line. I'd like to suggest to planners, designers, architects and builders that they construct the ladies' room to be twice the size of the men's room.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this venue is. I came to see my best friend's daughter in Kimberly Akimbo which was fabulous. No wonder it won several Tony awards. It seems that every seat has a good view of the stage, at least in the Orchestra section. I chose aisle seats because of my husband's handicap and was even more happy to be able to reach our seats with very limited stairs. The sound quality was very good, the seats were comfortable and the stage view, like I said, was good as well.
google avatar

Leilani M.

Yelp
Visited here several times for plays. This visit to see Peter Pan. Tickets at will call were an easy pick up. We really enjoyed the show the performances were fun and witty. It was a genius way to portray flying. Concessions with drinks and snacks readily available. Charging stations had various phone plugs to get some power plug in time. Patio space to get some air during intermission. Arriving a little early, we ventured around the grounds to see the other sides of segerstrom. Beautiful venue! Parking was a breeze with valet.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
I've seen several productions at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and it has always been a smooth and pleasant experience. The venue is modern, clean, and well maintained, with comfortable seating and solid acoustics. It is not my personal favorite, but I do appreciate how easy it is to access. Parking is convenient, and the layout makes it simple to get in and out without any hassle. It is a solid choice for catching a show in Orange County, and I have enjoyed the performances I've seen there.
google avatar

Yelp
The theater was amazing. He was beautiful, very artsy very classy. The help inside was very helpful locating helping locate your seat explaining to you everything when the little bowel goes on, the doors will be open. Opening assisting us to our seat never been here and this was our first time we went to go see the Moulin Rouge and it was beautiful. The voice is the acting the singing the dancing beautifully put together was epic wouldn't miss it for the for the world.
google avatar

Jenina M.

Yelp
It's so nice to be able to go to a show near home. This is the first time attending a theater show at Segerstrom. We watched &Juliet and it was such a fun show but something about the vibe was off. The theater was huge but felt a little too big for this show. I watched it previously in Broadway and the smaller theater made the show come alive. The crowd also seemed more engaged in NYC than in Costa Mesa. Segerstrom hall may be more appropriate for instrumental concerts and not so much this production. I will give it another shot and try to watch Moulin Rouge when it comes through Costa Mesa.

Yelp
Beautiful Venue for "A Beautiful Noise" Water Fountain Geometric Green In the front About a decade ago, I attended the musical "An American in Paris." I didn't have good impression about this venue, perhaps my seating location was high up, a zig-zag layouts in a maze, this might have affected its acoustics. So I wasn't keen to come back. Yesterday, I attended the Neil Diamond Musical "A Beautiful Noise" I was in Orchestra section, right at the center. wow, what a difference in the listening and visual experience. The Show was a fun event. The auditorium was full of energy, audience gave an enthusiastic ovation. For my next visit, I will make sure to get a good seat at this venue. Ha! Money does talk.

Yelp
Came here last night for the very first time to see Life of Pi. The theater is gorgeous both inside and outside. It's huge and spacious and well maintained. It was easy to navigate once inside and the theater staff were helpful. The seats were very comfortable and the view was great. The show itself had great acting and a superb use of the stage. I really felt transported to a different place while watching it. The light and sound design were also great. I loved how they had cute photo ops on every level. It was easy to get in and out of the theater and they had a lovely outdoor courtyard where you could lounge before or after the show. The drinks there also looked enticing. I would definitely return to see another show. Parking was easy with a parking lot conveniently located across the street as well as valet parking in front of the theater.
google avatar

Carissa F.

Yelp
Make sure you get there extremely early. We saw the nutcracker last Saturday and we couldn't get valet parking because they said it was full. The parking garages had super long lines to get in. We ended up parking across the street at Maggianos. On the website it says you can bring a clear reusable water bottle which I don't recommend doing. Just bring a sealed water bottle. There was no water fountain dispenser. It was just a regular old fountain. The show itself was great. The dancers were very talented and the costumes were beautiful. The music was amazing. My husband likes classical and I like ballet so win-win. Also keep in mind the intermission is only long enough to go to the bathroom and come back barely in time. Super fun! Would definitely go back again but be more prepared. Bring regular shoes if you have to park far like we did.
google avatar

Dari P.

Yelp
This is a huge performing arts building. It holds thousands of people. We had an unobstructed view of the stage, but legroom was limited. The volume of the performance was deafening. Good thing I had my Heroes ear buds. Show was "A Beautiful Noise " about Neil Diamond. They sang and danced to his music .

Kyle M.

Yelp
This is a warning for others in the future. DO NOT and I mean DO NOT purchase any kind of advanced movie tickets from Segerstrom. We purchased $60 per ticket for Wicked, only to find out individual theaters recently revealed they were offering reserved seating as well for $20. The $60 is not even reserved! First come first serve only. Outrageous. This is not a review against their theater or other events but their marketing department who clearly took advantage of the situation when announcing it very early. Unfortunately it is what it is, but don't make the same mistake we did and just be patient.
google avatar

Simply S.

Yelp
USED TO be good. Now people are allowed in the entire show so you spend $200+ to have people walking over you with their cell flashlights on even AFTER intermission. Yes people are late but it's up to STAFF to enforce the rules AND THEY DON'T. People also are on their phones, again staff allowing it. Taking FaceTime calls, talking LOUD, staff does nothing. This went to crap, your better off at a family movie theatre. And it's cheaper.
google avatar

Carlos L.

Yelp
Segerstrom is currently staging the Neil Diamond musical "A Beautiful Noise." It traces the story of Neil getting into the business as a songwriter before being pushed into becoming a successful singer. Beautiful songs played throughout the show. And you get to sing along Sweet Caroline at the end.
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
In all aspects this venue is better than The Saban. However, the air conditioning was lacking, the seats felt narrow, and the sound was a little muffled. Before the pandemic, the AC here always blasted. The place remains clean and lovely, and patrons are still well-behaved. It's a decent place for shows, but personally, I'm just done with tight seating.
google avatar

Yelp
This review is just for Movie Mondays at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. This summer tradition is something I look forward to every year. I've attended many of these movie nights with my friends and family, and we've had a wonderful experience every time. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There are fun pre-show activities, food trucks, and George's Café bar is open too which usually has specialty cocktails (and mocktails!) inspired by the movie that's playing. Make sure to bring your own picnic chairs or blankets. Many people also pack their own snacks or food to enjoy before or during the movie. Thank you SCFTA for organizing these free, family-friendly events for the community to enjoy. Already looking forward to next summer!

Yelp
We came to see Avatar the Last Airbender Live with their orchestra and it was amazing! We had so much fun and recommend if they ever come back to the area. We did park at their structure just because it was more convenient and you did have to pay for parking. We easily walked across their connecting bridge and went right into the check in line for security. All the employees were super welcoming and really nice. We were able to find our seats right away and there were some options for drinks and snacks but they were pricey. Once it was intermission, the line for the restroom can get rather long, no matter what floor we were on. We hope to watch more shows here in the future.

Yelp
Story time... Anyone who knows Michael, knows he freaking LOVES Back to the Future. Like REALLY loves it. lol Every year he "makes" me watch it. Sometimes, he'll even suggest the trilogy. However, the 1st one is his fave. He can literally quote the whole movie. Has brought me to all the filmingspots and points out which scenes were taped at that spot. He's a geek about it really. It's kinda cute. Kinda. Well, in June my SIL, Natalie saw an advertisement for it playing in MN and sent me it. I immediately looked to see where else it was playing and it was actually going to be at @hollywoodpantagestheatre on his actual birthday-November 24th. So I bought the tickets then. Remember, this was June. Unfortunately Pantages routes you to buy the tickets thru @ticketmaster Well, I was getting nervous that my tickets kept saying "they'll be delivered the day of the event" and checked on them often. Still with that notification showing the day before, I called cause I was nervous and was told "I could get them minutes before the event". With me trying that, we drove to LA, paid $40 for parking, waited anxiously outside and kept refreshing for our tickets. Nothing. I called Ticketmaster since the show was about to start and was told to keep waiting. WTF. I did and nothing came and it was too late to just buy more tickets. I was pissed! Called and bitched. At least they freaking refunded me but when I asked to speak to a Manager, they give you a link...Yes a link to a board to complain. So I did and holy cow, was there a SEA OC the same complaints for TONS of shows and concerts. Like A LOT, A LOT! A lot from Taylor Swift thousands of dollar tickets. Then my sister saw that @segerstromarts was going to be showing Back to the Future as well. I was stoked to redeem his birthday and purchased tickets. I'm soooo glad I did cause he LOVED it! Seeing him so stoked (he doesn't care for musicals but this made him lol) made all that caca the first time worth it. I'll always try to watch a show at Segerstrom vs Pantages now. It's overrated! Plus parking and the commute to Costa Mesa is 10/10 better than LA. Thanks Segerstrom.

Yelp
I cannot say enough positive things about this place! It's a gem of its' own kind here in Orange County--beautiful, especially at night when the lights are on and the sound of the water fountain, it feels like a dream standing amongst the buildings and walking through the inside interior. It's gorgeous and classy in my opinion. Extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are great: professional, nice, helpful, & efficient! I haven't come across anyone unfriendly or unhelpful here. The staff seem to have a higher set of professional standards than some other places I've been to in this area. I recall a restaurant inside the venue and a bar to order drinks and light snacks. Paid Parking structures are available as well. I've had the pleasure of seeing a few shows here: Comedy: Hasan Minaj, Off With His Head and Kevin Hart, Brand New Material. Both of these comedians are amongst some of my favorites and they did not disappoint!!! Musical: Mandy Gonzalez & Javier Munoz in Hitting New Heights at the Segerstrom. I enjoy all things Broadway and a softie for any type of musical performances. These two performed some well known Broadway songs and it was incredible! This summer, I'm surprising some little humans with a Bluey Live show here. I have no doubt that the experience will be nothing short of spectacular!

Yelp
We visited for The Nutcracker. It was such a fun venue, bars available, not a bad seat in the place. Attendants were incredibly helpful with drinks, getting to our seats, and the entire experience. Beautiful venue.

Yelp
This is a suberb venue for seeing music and shows. Most recently, we saw Monty Alexander at the smaller venue. We were on the balcony and all the seats were set up in nightclub style, making it feel more intimate. The show was spectacular and easy to view. We could order cocktails and have them served, too which made it fun. On other occasions, I've come with groups of school students to watch music and special entertainment (a science guy). They can transform the place to fit the artist. Well worth coming to and beautiful architechture!

Yelp
What a night! Celebrated Valentine's Day with the Lion King. The show was PHENOMENAL and the performers not only leveraged the stage, but the aisles and overhangs / ledges during the show. We had PERFECT seats (Orchestra Row J, seats 28 & 29) which were a little pricey ($179 each, purchased directly from the venue), but they included a VIP gift bag and collectible program book. The show is running for another 10 days and tickets are hot, so I highly recommend getting tickets sooner rather than later - I fell for a ticket scam before snagging these gems on the venue site just hours before the show, so I encourage you to buy direct or through a verified reseller. We made the choice to use a Lyft to get to the venue (we live in Costa Mesa, so ride share didn't break the bank) and were so glad we did! We avoided the mess of parking and were able to get right to the entrance. There were multiple security lines that went very quickly, and mobile tickets helped us get right in to the venue. We got inside at 7:10 and the show started at 7:30, so we had a chance to get some adult beverages prior to the start. The venue is STOCKED with multiple bars AND (unlike other venues) allows you to bring your drinks into the actual theater to enjoy during the performance. Our friendly bartender Josie even reminded us to order a second round of drinks for pickup at intermission which was clutch - we avoided the lines and had our drinks and a snack waiting for us. Because we were on the orchestra level, we didn't have to do much walking, but for the other levels there are stairs and elevators to get to the top. The venue wraps around, and the layout helps with not feeling like you're cattle as you're passing through. With all that said, we would absolutely come back for another show. Next time I want to come a little earlier try the onsite dining options. Will report back!

Yelp
Seating is too tight, close, difficult to manage. Restrooms too far away, lines ridiculously long! Overall an uncomfortable venue. Reminds me of a stinky old movie theater. Prices for drinks, even water are sky high

Yelp
My brother and I watched Hadestown last night. We definitely loved the show, the actors, actresses and the musical score. We got amazing seats thanks to Lucky Seats. We can't wait for the next show !

Yelp
What a great place to watch a musical. Feel like most views from orchestra seats were good. I sat in row R which had a pretty solid view for a very reasonable price. I came to watch lion king the musical and the show was so good. Bathrooms were conveniently close and good amount of intermission was given to go. Note: Parking is great here. They have a parking lot that's like $15 but you can easily park at South Coast Plaza and walk over in like under 5 minutes for free. I parked here (33.693009,-117.885778), punch these coordinates in google maps and you should be good.

Yelp
Saw Mrs. Doubtfire and the ambience is nice. They had snacks and drinks which I had none, since you know how a little can of Pringles are there 0_0 $$$. The audio in the theater isn't good, we can barely hear the performers in our section. Saw this in another theater and it was way better, and for the price of the tickets too $$$ that was a bit disappointing. That's why they get 3 stars. Fix your audio Segerstrom!

Yelp
Amazing Hamilton production 2025 was a fantastic experience. Building and personnel offered great service. I've already purchased tickets for family to enjoy another performance this summer!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite place for music and classical concerts! I have been here a few times and sat at pretty much everywhere. Each location does give a different experience and it really depends on what you come here to enjoy. I was recently here for Gluzman and will be back for Vivaldi and Strauss to start the New Year. Everyone here has always been so professional and nice and sometimes I do go to upper level to get my wine or drinks because the line is shorter. If you come during Christmas time, it is so beautiful. Even though I live in OC, my bf and I already would book a room (rotate between the three Marriott hotels) to make the experience greater. The best place to stay would be the Westin because it is right across from the Segerstrom and if you get the room with the view of the Segerstrom, during Christmas time you will see the Christmas tree view right outside. When we went for Gluzman it was one week before they had the Christmas tree out (well they had it out already but no lights) so if you can see from my photo, our hotel room view you can see the Christmas tree but since there was no light, you can barely see it lol.

Yelp
Beautiful venue with great acoustics. Lots of seating options to enjoy any show. Most of them are all good and can visibly see the stage. As expected, drinks and snacks are pricey. Valet parking is $30. There is self parking too.
