We have stayed at the Hotel Encanto several times, and the ambiance and decor are truly stellar. The design is representative of the culture of New Mexico yet clean and not dated at all. Our room had a balcony, which I highly recommend. So relaxing to enjoy the sky and surroundings. The hotel manager was also extremely personal and highly attentive to any questions or concerns we had.

We've stayed at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces many times, this trip was filled with a variety of experiences none negative just odd experiences we've not "lived" before at this fantastic away place. | |Check-in is at 3PM. We called as we knew after our flight landed that we'd be early. I was notified that they would be happy to receive our luggage and would call us when the room was ready. We dropped off the bags, were welcomed very nicely and again told we would be notified upon readiness of the room. | |We know the area, so we went shopping, picking up a few things for the trip ... we did not receive a call, returned to the hotel (August 2nd) right at 3PM. I went to the desk, I was told the room was "almost ready" ... ok, so we went to the cantina, there is also a fine little store there that we stopped at, time passed and nothing. I went up at 4PM, mind you we are in the hotel, they know we are waiting for our room, they know we've arrived early ... no surprises; I go to desk again asking about our room and was told that "our room was just now ready." I've been traveling a bit - I felt we were forgotten - that I didn't like. It makes no sense unless someone checkout out late - if that is the case, let us know ... it had been a long day, so come 4PM when our room was "ready", it was a little frustrating.| |AFTER that, however, the Hotel Encanto became that level of performance and care we are accustomed to. The hotel front desk thing just seemed like people checking-in and out really didn't have a firm grasp on what their role was. Something was off.| |I do have some merit mentions for two outstanding personnel - one being Shannon who worked both the cantina and Mezcla, also a gentlemen by the name of Walter who too was top tier in service and efforts working both the cantina and Mezcla. We ate at Mezcla one evening having them both providing service not only to us, but many and the attention to detail, customer service ... and care - superb! The food - rack of lamb and filet mignon out of the park! Wow presentation, wine selection ... service - a 5 Star plus here for sure!!!!!!!!!!| |In closing, we'll be back - I took one star off for the out of gate, as that was just odd for us, never experienced it before. All in all - an enchanting experience, beautiful hotel, alive with history, architectural bliss and ambiance, comfortable room, and great pool; we had a deck floor, literally out of room to pool deck ... a win.

We cannot imagine a nicer stay... Daniella checked us in and greeted us like old friends… We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived! The room, 356, was stunning and we wished we were staying a week. Joel, from maintenance brought up a mini fridge and was tremendously accommodating and kind... We were greeted warmly in the restaurant by a server with long blond hair and glasses(I'm sorry to not have gotten her name) who made us feel welcome and apologized for a small wait to be seated... She invited us to relax at the bar... we did so and ended up eating right there... After a long journey we were delighted to find you had a top quality Cabernet, Decoy, as well as icy cold Corona. Sky was the bartender and again, offered great, friendly service. Lastly, upon check out Selena was wonderful and made us feel like family as we were leaving... Your entire team was laser focused on customer service and it shows... We chose your hotel many years ago because you were pet friendly and we returned for the same reason ( That, and the fact that the hotel is beautiful...) Pets are really WELCOME, and that is so very nice! We were glad to learn you were still pet friendly, and that the hotel still offered the same high quality service unmatched by the big chain hotels... Best Regards, Kacie

What a beautiful hotel!! But more than that The customer service is outstanding. Checking out of one hotel and having an overlap of four hours they were more than accommodating to try and get us a room early as well as give us access to the facilities and the pool!!! That’s not always easy to find! Highly recommend!!

This hotel was very nice. I liked the local flare of the furnishings and decorations. This hotel did not have the feel of "rubber stamp" chain hotels. The lobby was nicely decorated with crucifixes, a fountain, an angel statue, and religious paintings. The hotel staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The room had heavy, solid wood furniture, was clean, with a comfortable king bed, and a great view of the city and mountains on the horizon.

This place is amazing! Everything was perfect from the rooms to the wonderful caring staff. I accidentally left my pet's urn in the room and Leticia made sure to ship them safely to me. She is a Godsend. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful property. Thanks again Leticia!

Hotel Encanto has that old-school, classy Hispanic charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into something timeless—in the best way. From the architecture to the atmosphere, it’s elegant without trying too hard. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well put together. The outdoor pool area was a highlight—beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for soaking in the New Mexico sun. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Only gripe? The valet carts. The one we found had a flat tire and looked like it hadn’t seen maintenance in a while. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but a small detail that could use attention. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely return. A perfect blend of culture, comfort, and class.

This hotel has a nice ambiance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It could be five stars in my opinion with some simple upgrades. The toilet in our room was very low which is quite difficult for seniors like us. There was no mini refrigerator like in other luxury hotels. No way to keep drinks cold. The drapes were very difficult too pull open or closed. I had to use an extension cord that I routinely carry to have a way to plug in our CPAP machines without unplugging one of the lamps or the bedside clock. More attention to maintenance and simple upgrades would make this hotel a delight.
