Peri Brothers Pizza & Modern Italian

First time ordering from Peri Brothers even though they’re right by my house — and wow, I wish I’d tried them sooner. I got a New York-style pepperoni pizza with onions for delivery and it was absolutely fantastic. Perfect crust, great flavor, and fast delivery. This is my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!

As a hairstylist with my salon suite, Little Shop of Hairdos, at Phenix Salon Suites, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of the restaurant side of this establishment. I’m a frequent visitor to their pizza side and have watched the restaurant’s progress with growing excitement. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait! The food was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere struck a perfect balance — fancy yet casual, with a fine-dining vibe and a great bar experience. My husband and I started with the Meatballs and Ciabatta (San Marzano, Parmigiano Reggiano), which were tender, flavorful, and paired with an incredible marinara sauce. My husband declared them “some of the best meatballs I’ve ever had.” For our mains, my husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiana (spaghetti, tomato sugo, bufala mozzarella), which was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, topped with a delicious cheese and homemade marinara. He said it beats Olive Garden any day — a huge compliment for a small business Italian restaurant! Raleigh desperately needed a place like this and now we have it. I had the Vongole (capellini, clams, garlic crumbs, wine cream), and it was divine — perfectly portioned, flavorful without being too rich, with clams cooked to perfection. Our sides were equally impressive. The Brussels Sprouts (colatura gastrique, guanciale) were a standout, with guanciale and a balsamic-like sauce that was to die for. The Roasted Broccolini (white wine, Calabrian chiles) had just the right kick — not too spicy, but full of flavor. Next time, we’re trying the Crispy Potatoes (pecorino, rosemary, +3 truffle add-on) because they sound amazing! For dessert, we enjoyed a layered chocolate cake with a rich, ganache-like texture. We also ordered hand-battered chicken tenders and buttered noodles with Parmesan for our two-year-old. He devoured the tenders (which were delicious — I snuck a bite!), and even ate the in-house made noodles, which he usually refuses. We’re already planning our next visit to try the Seared Salmon (broccolini, confit tomato, lemon butter) and Branzino (orzo risotto, sundried tomato, caramelized fennel), while my husband is eyeing the Lasagna (béchamel, ricotta, pork and beef, tomato sugo). This place is our new date night spot, and we’ll be back without a doubt!

This place was yummy but Peri bothers pizza and Peri brothers modern Italian are two very different places and vibes. We went wanting some yummy casual pizza and pasta and didn’t realize that if you want to eat in it’s the modern Italian side which is fancy and fairly pricey. The chicken parm was delicious but this is a date night place not an easy pizza joint. They did have a sign outside but having the Google page be the same was confusing to us and made it seem like they had similar menus. We’re excited to try the pizza to go next time. The space was also very pretty. Also the fountain soda is $5 and not listed on the menu so stick with water.

After establishing themselves as the best NY style pizza in North Raleigh, Peri Brothers has now opened a legit Italian restaurant. This is not a pizza joint (but you can still get the best pizza takeout next door to the restaurant). The restaurant’s decor is very stylish and the service is great. Not stuffy or too fancy, but definitely worthy of a special night out. The food was absolutely excellent. From the bone-in chicken Parmesan to the luscious lasagne and the perfectly prepared shrimp scampi, we were all blown away. We didn’t spend time in the bar but it had ample seating and seemed like a great option for a sit-at-the-bar dinner. We are so happy that Peri Brothers took the time to get it right and deliver an awesome new dining option to North Raleigh.

Elite authentic Roman Italian in Raleigh, very hard to find. Cacio e pepe and carbonara were fantastic, as was the cheese pizza. Great cocktail menu. Definitely a Raleigh gem

The experience was superb. Ray, my server, was funny, charming, and made sure I got everything I needed. The rest of staff was cordial and caring. No notes 🖤! The atmosphere is relaxing as the music ranges from jazz to pop music to Jersey Club music. I ordered the chicken parmesan, recommended by the hostesses. When I asked for a menu, they pointed out the parmesan and calamari are delicious. The calamari was sublime and I have no notes. It was lightly breaded but heavily seasoned and fried in a way that left the meat to stay chewy while the outside was crisp but not crunchy. Something I find to be quite difficult to cook so kudos to the chef. The chicken parmesan was delightful. I recommend cutting the chicken first and mixing it in more with the pasta as most the flavors seem to be within the pasta itself. I can only really taste the chicken and cheese but it seems that all of the seasoning is inside the tomato sauce for the pasta. The presentation was beautiful though. There wasn't really a lot of options for non-alcoholic drinks so Ray made me a mocktail of one of their mojitos which was refreshing, as he used sprites and some club soda to replace the alcohol that would typically go in. The drink was crisp with flavors of blueberry and a hint of lemon that helped me ease my stress away. This place gives a high class vibe and impression which I see reflected both in the price and the quality of service. I highly recommend this place for special occasions, a date, and just a good time with friends.

We ended up here in a Saturday night around 7. It was busy but not slammed. The ambiance is nice and lends itself to masquerading as a higher end restaurant. Unfortunately for us, we were sat under an open air vent and it was very unpleasant. We waited and waited as if it were Gadot we were waiting for. Waitress finally showed up. No greeting, no “hi” or “hello and welcome” just do you want to order .. She did not ask for our drink order just wanted our food order. We had to ask for ice tea as if we were asking in a mythical language.. We were sat at a four top table set for three .. we asked her repeatedly for an additional place setting including a glass to drink water from the table water bottle . We ended up lifting a set up and glass from another table .. had to ask for water refills .. it began to be apparent that we might as well inquire about open positions, maybe we could learn how to get better service… our waitress could not have been more disinterested in waiting on us.. it was really disappointing. We ordered Chicken Marsala which arrived as bone in, Shrimp Scampi with beautiful shrimp with the tail on… getting those off was like the dinner hour on survivor.. the Pork Chop, with peach slices, very enjoyable. Pasta Carbonara , I’ll attach a photo.. the serving was so small, we thought it was a side dish size.. my teen son had another meal when we arrived home.. our food came out staggered which was frustrating as you sit whilist you wait for the rest of the entree’s to arrive. Our food was delivered like plates at a skeet shoot and no sign of the waitress again … she never returned to ask if our food was to our liking or to offer refills etc… she would walk by and look at our table but never at us and she did not pre-bus until the end.. it was our good fortune that we did not want desert as we were afraid we be celebrating birthdays before it would arrive. We got to watch the kitchen squabble with a man who might have been a manager ? Gray pants and maroon shirt.. he seated us.. dragged my dad and his Rollator to the back of the restaurant as if we were navigating the alps.. he stepped off to talk to the bartended while we stood and waited to finish our trek to the table . We finished our food and emptied our drinks .. had to ask a passing server for a check, at this point any check would do.. we were done.. the bill was 173$ for four people .. no dessert. No apps.. no alcoholic drinks .. I can get ignored for free.. In closing, I’ll say that the food was ok but I can get good food at other places.. it’s the service and experience that you take away with you that sets you apart from others ..this was horrendous. I’d suffer the perils of Olive Garden before I’d return to Peri Brothers. We went to DQ on the way home.. we were treated 1000% percent better and that was only 22$ Response from the owner 4 hours ago Before I fully comment, are you one of the ones eating the appetizers or the man staring at our open kitchen with his arm crossed entire time? This place is located in the same shopping center as The Sneaky Penguin Brewing and they will deliver your order to the brewery! Absolutely amazing!! We love attending events at The Sneaky Penguin but their events are often right after we get off work so getting dinner and getting to the brewery early enough to snag a table is stressful. Not anymore though, thanks to Peri Brothers! They deliver food and paper plates and silverware right to your table! It's super easy to order online and the delivery person is always friendly. Their Grandma's Pizza is amazing! This pizza is exactly what I've been searching for and Peri Brothers does it the best! We've also enjoyed their pasta dishes. Really, every item we have ordered has been delicious! I'll have to physically go to Peri Brothers sometime to really get the full experience of the place.

It was crispy on the edges, soft in the center. Flavor was fantastic. I would get it a 10/10 & 's.

Picked up a pie to go and surprised to see the restaurant was remodeled. They have a new dining room and it looked very inviting. Staff was super friendly. The pizza was well made but it seemed to lack that flavor that would make this 5 stars. It's was good just not great. It's obvious they work hard at pizza making so I would put this on the go to list.

Wow!! My wife and I had lunch today here and it was delicious. I had the Braised Beef Pappardelle, my wife had Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and a pear Martini. The dishes were fantastic, and the service from Matt was terrific. We are definitely coming back!!!

I tried the new modern Italian portion of the peri brothers this weekend and it was great! We only stayed for apps but I will definitely be coming back! I need to try some of their entrees as well as their pizza (most importantly the garlic knots). I got meatballs and the bread and dips, which were all perfect. I think it would be great if the garlic knots were at the full service restaurant too, but I'm biased. The whipped ricotta that came with the bread was so good that I started eating it with a spoon LOL. Even though we didn't stay for a full meal. They still gave my boyfriend a free dessert for his birthday! He picked the chocolate cake and loved it. Our waiter was kind and I loved the vibes of the place. I will have to do an additional review when I try a few more items!

The food is absolutely incredible and the highest quality. This restaurant has both New York Italian and traditional Italian cuisine ... which is so rare to find in one restaurant. Something for every taste. A true gem! Will be back.

Peri Brothers was great! We only stayed for apps, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. We ordered their house bread and meatballs for apps, and OMG, they were delicious and out of this world! Their entrees looked pretty good too, but I'll definitely come back for entrees next time. Our service was spectacular too, our server was helpful and walked us through the menu for us.

This place is great! To start off, the service was amazing. The gentleman who assisted us at the cash register clearly explained the menu and was friendly in doing so. We ordered some wings and a cheese pizza, both of which were very delicious. It didn't feel too fatty, but was still filling. The place itself does not currently have a dine-in area, but there is a sign that says it's being built next door! Nonetheless, the current space feels cozy and welcoming.

I got food to go and I was getting curbside pick up and the lady came out and told me that I had a certain amount of time left. That was very nice of her. This place has excellent service and the food is great.

Not only is the food delicious every single time (pizza, wings, calzones, desserts, we've had 'em all) but the customer service is next-level!!! We ordered delivery tonight during Friday night rush and got one item slightly wrong, no big deal. But when I called about it, the manager not only remade the item right away but delivered it personally immediately. What a great team and a great restaurant! Don't sleep on this local gem! Also the most delicious yeasty crunchy crust of all local pizzas. We're huge fans!

If you haven't tried Peri Brothers lately, check them out. As of summer 2025, they've expanded their restaurant and menu. The old space still has NY pizza to go, plus the new upscale dining room next door has a new "modern Italian" menu with a full bar and lists of beer and wine. We enjoyed Truffle Tagliatelle pasta, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana, and Chopped Salad. The waiters and assistants provided attentive service for a pleasant dining experience.

The best garlic knots. Super soft and not drowning in butter. They should give more sauce than 1 tiny container per 6 knots though. The pizza is not bad. I would definitely recommend getting some garlic knots from here with extra sauce!

The cheese pizza was great! It was thin crust (just like we like it) and with the perfect amount of cheese. We also ordered the arancini balls - I would give them a C-. They needed salt. Ambiance - beware that there are 2 places associated with Peri brothers: the take out and the actual restaurant. We went to the restaurant - wonderful ambience!!! I'd like to go back for date night with the husband

I ordered takeout so not really sure about service but it seemed good! Ambience was small but it looks like it was currently expanding. The food was decent... I got the Alfredo with breaded chicken and it was DRY. My girlfriend got the vodka pasta and that was actually very good. We also got the mozzarella sticks and those were absolutely amazing. The garlic bread was very well cooked but I think they forgot to add garlic lol.

We tried the new Modern Italian restaurant portion of Peri Brothers and were disappointed. The pizza was decent, but not great. The pasta dishes we tried were subpar. My chicken parmesan had a huge bone in it. The menu specified that the VEAL parm is bone in, but it did not say the chicken parm is bone in. Nasty. Plus, the chicken breast was too thick, so the balance of flavors you'd expect (mozz, sauce and chicken) was off. The sauce was bland, too. My wife tried the bolognese, and it lacked flavor. Pasta was al dente, which she appreciated, so at least that was good. Overall, for me, my wife, and two kids (who split a 12" pizza), the bill came to more than $130, and that was without apps, salads, bread, or drinks from the bar. $5 for a single can of coke (no refills). That's just insane. We might give it another try, but due to the lackluster taste and exorbitant cost, unfortunately, we probably won't be back anytime soon.

My family and I heard good things about Peri Brothers Pizza in Raleigh. We were in the area and decided to stop by and try it out. We ate in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very cozy, very laid back. We got the Times Square pizza and a cheese pizza for the kids. The kids liked the cheese pizza. Just a disclaimer though, they like any and all cheese pizza they've ever eaten. As for the Times Square, the toppings were flavorful and fresh, the veggies had a satisfying crunch to them, not soggy from oven baking. The meats had good flavor and not very oily (though pepperoni always has a bit more oil than sausage). The crust was crispy on the outside edge and chewy elsewhere, which is what I like in that type of pizza. The dough was light and airy. Overall, the taste was good, but the dough did not have much flavor to me. As I mentioned, the texture was good, but the flavor was just 'ok' to me. Just to confirm, I tried a slice of the cheese pizza and it was the same experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming and stopped by our table to make sure everything was fine. The price was a few dollars more per pizza than what I am used to paying for similar pizza in Wake Forest. In the future, when I am in the mood for pizza I would consider one of my regular pizza restaurants in Wake Forest first though based on overall pizza taste and price.

We got a take out pizza with 1/2 spinach, 1/2 sun dried tomatoes. The taste was okay. Crust was not too thick, sauce was good, good topping choices especially for a vegetarian. The price seemed high for a 16" take out pizza ($25 with small tip).

Every time I come here, the pizza is perfect. The balance of flavors is just right, and the toppings are always fresh. It is my favorite place to grab a good slice.

They just redid their dining room with a lovely ambience. Haven't dined inside the new dining room yet, but their New York style pizzas are the best in north Raleigh and the tiramisu can't be missed.

We stopped tonight to grab dinner to take home. I had the Eggplant Parm and Pasta and my Wife had the Meat and Cheese Lasagna. Service was great, food was great ,very flavorful. I got home and opened my take home container and found plenty of Pasta but a very small layer of Eggplant. What I had was good but thought the eggplant portion was a little short. At Manhattan Pizza the take home dish of Eggplant Parmesan was stacked to the brim with Eggplant and Pasta, for $5 less. For 2 people that is a $10 premium to pay at Peri Bros. The food was very good at both places. Peri Bros sauce was very tasty. We may go back to Peri to try something different.

Hey, after only seven years living here, we finally found pretty good NYC style pizza! On a whim and craving some pizza, we decided to try Peri Brothers last night. This is your typical NYC style pizzeria where you order at the counter and seat yourself. We went with an order of Antipasto salad, small Ceasar salad (for the teenager) and The Bronx large pie, which came out piping hot. I lived in the Bronx briefly in the 80's (yikes) so why not. The salads were really good and the ingredients were fresh. The Bronx is a cheese pizza with a mozzarella base, splash of red sauce, ricotta and garlic. It was cooked perfectly, the dough was crisp, and it was really tasty. All eight slices went. The menu here is pretty extensive. The staff and the owner were friendly and, from New York! Definitely check them out!

Taste: Really solid, I feel like the pizza has the right balance of char, sauce, and toppings. Nothing feels overwhelming and they make a very well-balanced pie. The pasta is also superb, the gnocchi hits the spot when you're hungry and just craving some heavy carbs. Experience: 5/5, this review is mostly getting a 5 star for their service. Everyone in the store was so kind and helpful. They came over to our table and offered us some more bread cause they had a delay in making our pizza. A very respectful, and kind offer. Price Point: Peri Brother's menu is pretty competitive with the rest of the pizza places out there. For the quality of the food, I would say they are priced just right. Super solid place, definitely give it a try.

Patrick is an amazing host. Very much a blast of family history and how food and family are 100% what we need right now.

I have been ordering from Peri Bros for 10 years I think. I am from NJ/NYC. This pizza tasted as good as home if not better. Recently they expanded their restaurant and have a new delivery service and the pizza and food all round is terrible. The Delivery service leaves the food on the cement floor in my building out side my door without a notification. It is cold and terrible. Do not order from here ever. It is the worst now since they made changes. The pizza is terrible. Totally changed and what was the best is now the worst. I will never order from them again. Don't waste your money.

Pizza review time. Well thanks to Peri Brothers I'm going to have to start a new category for rating Pizza . I tried Perry brothers today for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had multiple choices for single slice pizza. So I ordered one slice of cheese pizza and then one of their grandma style pizza. So let's first start with the cheese pizza. as far as the Crust goes it was a New York style crust. The undercarriage was cooked nearly perfectly as seen in the picture. It did have a little flop, which seems to be normal for New York style pizza. The crunch of the crust was much better than a lot of other New York style pizzas that I've had in theRaleigh area. The sauce on this cheese pizza was good but not great. I would've like to see more sauce just a little. I had to add a little flavor to it for me to 100% enjoy it. That's just me. What I really enjoyed about this cheese slice was it was not greasy at all, well done. Now for the grandma style pizza. This crust was even better than the cheese slice crust. The sauce on the Grandma pizza was outstanding. Because of how good this pizza slice was I didn't feel like I have been fair to some of the other Pizza joints out there where I would just rate them on cheese pizza. I'm here to say that I enjoy grandma style pizza much more than just a slice of cheese pizza. So I will have to make some adjustments overall rating. This Grandma slice was maybe my third overall favorite pizza behind Di Fara in Cary NC and behind Peaceful side social in Townsend Tennessee. Worth a visit! I will be back !

Pizza was ok. But crust is flat. There is not anywhere to sit down to eat indoors. The people that work there were super nice and friendly.

Good pizza but overpriced compared to other pretty good puzza joints. Higher price for smaller pies than others. Better pricing would have rated higher.

Great local pizza spot that also has other items. The pepperoni is pretty good, and the penne vodka is awesome. Also tried some garlic knots, which were solid but could have been more garlicky.

Been going here to eat since 2016 and will continue to keep going and introducing friends and family. The food is always good, the staff are always kind and I can't wait for the new seating area!

Peri brothers is our go to pizza delivery spot. Quality is always consistent- love their Brooklyn pie. Service is great- always timely with their deliveries! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Former NYer here - scoured the Internet to find a pizza & wing spot with the best reviews. Not expecting NY pizza excellence, but at least something passable. Cheese pie was unremarkable - you could barely taste the sauce as there either wasn't enough of it, or it was super bland. Dough tasted like it wasn't made with salt, either - so flavorless. Medium wings had trace amount of sauce - I had to add Frank's Red Hot to them to give them any flavor. Honestly would have enjoyed chain pizza more at half the price.

What can I say other than YUM! I got a 12 inch pizza (don't worry I didn't eat all of it) my buddy got 16 wings and INHALED them cause they were that good! Highly recommend 5/5

We got 2 Pizzas delivered; 1 large, 1 small. with tax and 20% tip it was $59!!! took over an hour to arrive and was nearly cold and not very good.

I can't deny that this is the best pizza I've had in the area. The Grandma's w/pepperoni added is my fav. This last time I asked for extra sauce on my pizza and I probably won't do that again but still delicious. I also ordered a slice of pepperoni, first time trying that, it was good. The garlic knots were a little dry but I got those for checking in. :) Officially my fav pizza spot.

The pizza was very good. Their meatballs are watery and severely overpriced. With that, their marinara sauce may possibly be the best red sauce I've ever had. I found myself dippping my already delicious pizza in the meatball sauce because it was just that good. I'm new to town. This might be my pizza spot.

I'd heard good things about Peri's pizza, so I stopped by to check it out. I ended up ordering the lasagna. It was delicious! Tonight will be pizza. ;)

The other night my boyfriend and I were craving pizza so we decided to try Peri Brothers for the first time and it definitely satisfied our cravings! We went with 2 10" pizzas, the Times Square and the Margherita, some garlic knots, and a tiramisu for dessert. My favorite pizza was definitely the Times Square and the tiramisu was some of the best I think I've ever had here in NC! I'm a big fan of cold pizza for breakfast and will admit I almost like it more than fresh, hot pizza (sue me) but these slices weren't the greatest the next day so I would recommend ordering what you can eat. The garlic knots were surprisingly really good left over, though. The customer service was great and picking up our order was quick and seamless. I will say it is a little pricy but the quality is definitely there and I would come back again to try some other menu items I was eyeing the other day.

I love New York pizza, even though I've never been to NY before. Peri Brothers was one of my pizza bookmarks, and I'm happy my boyfriend and I got a carryout Saturday night. I placed my order using their online system, picked a time, and when our order was ready, we parked by the front door and turned our flashers on. A friendly waitress came out, took our name, and informed us that our pizza would be ready soon. I ordered a large with pepperoni and meatballs (the large is HUGE) and when our pizza was brought out to us, we parked our car nearby and dug in. The cheese is delicious, I wish the sauce had more tang, but it's good, the pepperoni and meatballs were great, the slice had great under carriage, it wasn't too floppy, which I appreciate, but that dough!! WOW, the crust is perfection!! It had great crunch and chew, and the flavor made us both say "whoa". It's that good. We had a lot leftover and warmed it up the next day in the oven for lunch, and the pizza tasted almost as good as when it was brought out to us fresh. That was impressive.

Visited family this week who live in Raleigh and picked up pizza from Peri Brothers. Had the "Grandma's Pizza. Crust was crunchy yet fluffy, sauce was fresh and definitely made in house I would guess. It was delicious and I'm picky about the sauce to say the least and the cheese (combination of a few ?) was just right. I loved this pizza! Highly recommend this eatery. I Only wish they had a location in Myrtle Beach. I'd be a fixture there! lol Thanks for making a great pizza Peri Brothers. YUM!

DoorDash dropped off the wrong order at my house which was very frustrating. HOWEVER, I called Peri Brother's and they were SO helpful and kind. The manager rushed my order and had their own delivery person bring it to our house. Plus, the pizza was delicious:) Will definitely go back to Peri' Brothers! You can't beat great pizza and great customer service.

Eggplant parm sub and Italian sub were excellent. Well seasoned and quick pick up service. Excited to try their pizza next time!

Wow!!! Great pizza!! We loved our sausage and pepperoni pizza. The sweet tea was fresh and the service was great. We really felt that the staff appreciated it business.
