On the Grid : Second Cup Coffee Co.

"Long before the ubiquitous green haired caffeine mermaid from Seattle arrived north of the border, most Canadian coffee lovers satisfied their java cravings at one of 450 Second Cup outlets across the nation. As the first of many re-designed and re-branded locations, Second Cup Coffee Co. represents a deep respect for the roots of the business, and their commitment to championing true coffee culture. Between the white marble countertops, cream tiles and white oak accents, this is truly a place you'll want to spend time in. Pull up a seat to the slow bar and check out the pour over station and the crème de la crème - the Alpha Dominche steampunk brewer, the first of its kind in Canada." - Jacknife

My order through the app was quick and ready for pickup. The staff is very helpful and made other recommendations for my white hot chocolate purchase and gave me additional information on the white hot chocolate powder. Would definitely come back!

The barista always very helpful with finding my partner a drink he wanted, as he is very creative and particular. She made a gorgeous strawberry and lavender frocho and a caramel corretto for myself. She was patient and kind. This location is also quiet too.

I went in on Friday at 2:55pm and was told that they were closed. The girl in front of me asked "oh are you closed" as i was walking away and the worker told her it was okay and she could help her. The worker then kept staring at me until i had walked away. I'm confused as to why I was told the location was closed when it says the location is open until 6pm and it was a weekday? I'm also confused as to why I wasn't helped but other people in front of me were

I have been a customer since 2014 and I only have positive feedback for the 145 King St W location in downtown Toronto. The coffee that Grace and her staff make is consistently great and flavourful. This is my absolute favorite location because of the consistency in how they make their coffee. Oh and their great customer service!

I’d have liked to have been reminded to use my points.. but otherwise okay experience, chai latte was good.

I have not been this location for a while. Surprisingly the service was excellent and my order flat white was really hot! Thanks for the warm smiles and the coffee!

Big, airy space with natural light from the big windows, good wifi connection. Some comfy lounge chairs but more seats at the little tables. The light might make glare if you're looking at a screen. The millionaire bar is delicious.
