My husband and I went out to dinner the other night at Lemon Press. What an amazing experience! Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of fresh flavor. We had the cauliflower and the carrots for our appetizers and both of them were absolutely unforgettable. (I’m still thinking about that cauliflower). We ordered the lamb and halibut for our entrees. The lamb shoulder was outstanding—tender, juicy, and deeply flavorful. The fish was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a delicate texture that paired wonderfully with the accompaniments. Every dish was beautifully plated as well. Very photo worthy. The atmosphere was fun and friendly. The music wasn’t too loud which made it easy to hold a conversation and staff were upbeat and attentive making the whole evening feel special. We both left feeling satisfied and excited to go back again.

Adorable decor and delicious food. Had the burrito, avocado toast, and the Persian breakfast. I could eat the Persian breakfast every day for the rest of my life. Only complaint was the latte was a little milky (could use an extra shot).

This place surprised me! They have some unusual flavors. Super creative I have to say. I had the French toast which had pistachio and a cardamom infused syrup. I added that to my recipe app. My cousin had the salmon bagel. She said it was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Our server was the best part of the experience. He was super friendly and upbeat.

Could it be better? Actually not. Everything is amazing. A professional staff who serve and don’t annoying every other minute with question “Is everything alright?!”,food is fresh,delicious,fast cooked ,there is no long waiting,atmosphere and nice music. A great start of your vacation day 🥰

Have gone here two years in a row for breakfast. The Persian breakfast is so good. Added the tea this year. Great choice. The food is fresh and delicious. Everyone was pleased with what they got though the eggs on one plate were described as cold. Our food was slower than later, larger tables seated near us so we were a bit concerned about the service and wondered if maybe our food sat in the back for a little. Overall wouldn’t highly recommend and would go back again when on the island.

Went for brunch and everyone had an incredible meal. All of the Persian items were so good! Everyone raved about the food and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. We were a large group and they worked to accommodate us to the best of their ability.

Crowded and a bit frantic but that’s the Nantucket Summer vibe. Some items on the menu are worth the inconvenience and hassle though. Try the falafel bowl - the falafel’s were cold. I think they were supposed to be cold so that was a little odd but they had this interesting seaweed salad blend mixed into fresh lettuce leaves, and pickled ginger. It was interesting quite delicious. Some of the grab and go items were good like the coconut chia pudding and overnight oats. It’s a quick and convenient type of place. Service was slow in the dining area. Overall ok. I’d go back but allow time to savor the experience.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service was excellent. She was super kind and made us feel very welcome.

Healthy option yes but a wish I didnt' have to sacrifice flavor for it. I had the Mediterranean Salad and it was very bland. Very disappointing to pay $20 for a salad (and this was with no add-on's) and be disappointed. The online ordering was easy and the food was ready when notified in the exact time they said it would be so that is a plus.

Ambiance 4/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Breakfast Sandwich - very good and would order again. Confit Duck Hash - I would highly NOT recommend. Unseasoned with an unimpressive presentation. I couldn't finish because it was so bland. Clean Green Juice - was curious, but wasn't impressed. Healthy and as expected. I just needed to sneak in veggies this day. The Bees Knees - definitely the yummiest coffee I had all year.

Love a healthy food spot! My sister and I stopped by Lemon Press twice during our recent visit to Nantucket. Overall I'd give the experience 3.5 stars but the amazing smoothie I had bumps it up to 4. The first time around we had lunch on the lower level. I was craving something light and nutritious so I went with Kami's Bowl. The bowl included farro, mashed avocado, greens, pickled cauli, cucumber (MIA in real life), tomato, feta (nixed this to make it vegan), and pita wedges ($19.76). The bowl is under the "warm bowls" section of the menu, but it was more of a salad, being green heavy and not actually warm. It was decent, my hopes were just very high. I'd definitely give Lemon Press another shot if I'm back in Nantucket and want something casual + savory (and healthy). For breakfast the next day we did have to wait around 20 minutes for a table, and were seated upstairs. I wanted a smoothie so I chose the TB12, which was one of the best smoothies I've had out! It was comprised of banana, blueberries, walnuts, chia seeds, flax, plant-based protein, and almond milk ($14.56). So well-balanced and the perfect texture! They don't have London Fogs on the menu, but I asked our server if they could whip one up, and the answer was yes! The cozy beverage ended up being super tasty as well. Our second visit definitely made up for our first. The ambiance is okay, I prefer downstairs around the bar area, and service is decent. No complaints in that department! I'd happily come back to enjoy another smoothie and try more menu items.

Delicious food! Super busy Saturday, but they definitely kept everything upbeat! I had a bagel & lox and my husband had a wonderful traditional breakfast cooked to perfection. Thank you

We've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this charming downtown Nantucket restaurant and although we love many things about the place, including the fact that it brings vastly underrepresented Persian flavors to this gringo island, the food is honestly just so-so by our standards. Cold pressed juices and cocktails are of excellent quality. The mixologist, Jonathan, is IMHO a genius and designed all of the beautifully made cocktails on the menu. He makes the house bloody Mary mix from scratch and it's potent + delicious! Wow! The decor -- heavy on dried and fresh flora -- is also absolutely lovely, as are the kind wait staff. As a few other Yelpers have noted, however, the food is generally just fine, not quite as good as one might expect for the pricing if one is a New Yorker: - Acai bowls at breakfast ($15.60): standard issue. You get three toppings of your choice and our strawberries, blueberries and granola were well received by the primary consumers. - Gyro with shaved lamb at lunch ($18.72): standard issue. This is the same processed meat you find at any street food stall in NYC, but it does come with some lovely hummus and veggies on a possibly house made pita. - Shrimp lettuce wraps at lunch (with poke sauce, pickled onion, bibb lettuce, radish, fried shallots; $18.72) were overcooked and cloyingly sweet, with sauces overwhelming whatever intrinsic flavors the shrimp may once have had. They were quite oily, as well. - Seared Scallops at dinner (red lentil, schug drizzle, sea beans; $29.64) did not come with any discernable sea beans, probably the ingredient I was most excited about having on the plate. I love and forage sea beans. Scallops were expertly prepared, seared brown on the outside, not overcooked on the inside. However, the red lentils (which seemed to me an odd addition to the plate and mainly present as an anchor for the scallops or additional roughage) were prepared in a very bland manner. I passionately love this ingredient when I use it as masoor dal, or when I incorporate it into Armenian dried apricot and red lentil stew. This was a preparation made without love. If we were just talking about schug and scallops, I'd be happy. - Joojey Kabab (Marinated chicken skewers, house pita, cucumber laban, onion soubise; $22.36) was a modest portion of chicken that had perhaps been marinated in something akin to tabasco sauce (I detected vinegar and chili spice) and not the traditional yogurt and saffron. It was a wee bit tough. The cucumber laban was lovely, the soubise less sweet, creamy and flavorful than the preparations we usually make at home or have at restaurants in NYC. (I have to assume that the onions were not properly caramelized and that thickening agents were used that are not in the traditional preparation.) - The chicken in the oven roasted chicken dish (za'atar and lemon on airline chicken breast, confit potatoes, charred broccolini, natural au jus; $46.80) was clearly of high quality: Textures and flavors indicated it was not factory farmed. Unfortunately, it was prepared in a very bland way, which did not do the animal justice. We do really enjoy airline chicken on the bone and think it retains its jus better than many other cuts, but one piece of chicken on the plate was quite pink and undercooked, a downside that is more likely with this cut. We did not send it back, knowing that we'd just reheat leftovers to the correct temperature the next day. (We're not the type to get freaked out by this kind of thing given that we enjoy torisashi in Japan.) Za'atar seasonings were only skin deep and everything on this plate was undersalted. - I didn't personally try The Burger (beef and lamb burger, harissa yogurt, pickled shallots, za'atar fries; ; $27.04), but it appeared to be juicy and the primary consumer ate it all. I have to assume it was good and/or he was hungry! The fries I poached from his plate were excellent. I'd go back for the inventive cocktails; the overpriced, but healthy, cucumber / ginger pressed juice drinks; and possibly the duck mezze for four. (I was mad at my family for refusing to go all in with me on the latter!) But for excellent Persian food, we are lucky to have our NYC standards and best of all, homemade dinners in a good friend's kitchen.

Family came to eat here and they loved their food. The whole atmosphere here is so quaint just like Nantucket. There's a full bar, to go area, and then plenty of seating options which you may need to wait if it's rush hour. Plenty of various food dishes to try from and bonus they have breakfast all day.

Liked it but didn't love it. There was a lot of hype about this place and although it is adorable inside I didn't find it to be anything particulalry special. I ordered an acai bowl with extra ingredients and it was brought out late and was missing the ingredients that I had requested. The Acai, which every other time I have had it is served cold, was room temperature. Perhaps a good place to meet a friend for a coffee but I think there are better places for food.

Had a lovely meal to go at Lemon Press. Ordered the Avocado Toast which had pickled cauliflower, radish, zataar vin, micro greens on sourdough toast. I picked cucumbers for my side. It was $17, filling and delicious. Took about 20 minutes from order to pick up. Nice staff. There is seating inside. They also have benches outside if you are waiting for your order.

Delicious.. I had the Brainy Ack with an espresso shot and had I not ordered it myself, I would've never known there were mushrooms in it. My adult minion remarked on the deliciousness of her latte as well. Atmosphere is great inside and beyond beautiful outside. It's a coffee shop so staff is busy but, they did not rush us and we were a lil' inquisitive.

Menu is a little all over the place, Gyros, Chicken wings ,Burgers and Mussels. I got the chicken wings to eat, very good, my friend got the chicken gyro, that was hurting, couldn't finish the chicken , Mussels looked spot on. Friendly staff.

I got a delicious chocolate hazelnut croissant and an okay tasting latte here. They're just using generic syrups, but I honestly expected them to make their syrups in-house. They're incredibly busy even at 9AM on a Sunday. I guess this is where everyone goes to get their acai bowls and coffees, but it's honestly just okay. It's just where everyone goes because there's such limited options on the island.

The Quick: Great vegan options and to go food if the line isn't insane. We had the pleasure of eating there once as well which was fantastic - but there is always a line. Enjoy it if you can, great food and ambiance. Really loved the bloody Mary too

I recommend this spot for dine-in breakfast/lunch, especially for anyone with food allergies. The whole menu is labeled with modification options such as GFO or VO (gluten free/vegan optional). I learned from our server that they'll remove potentially cross-contaminated ingredients when opting for GFO, so depending on your sensitivity you can customize as needed. Many of their hot drinks either come with espresso or a shot can be added. The Golden Dust was my family's highlight-- my mom drank 3 during our 4-day stay. The Bees Knees is also delicious. I got that one iced/to-go at the front counter and the size was massive. Their Avocado Toast is great; the poached egg topper is a must. I ordered mine on gluten free bread, and the bread itself is thin-sliced/nothing to write home about, but the dish checked all boxes and beyond. I hate quinoa generally, but this toast was finely dusted with quinoa crunch and it made every bite better. The veggie blend comes sprinkled on top of everything instead of as a bed underneath. I especially enjoyed the microgreens, which are pretty common in Nantucket dishes. The Perfect Persian Parfait is delicious. The overall portion size looks small, but it's pretty filling as the cherry yogurt is creamy somehow. The berries were bursting! I picked up a gluten free zucchini/chocolate chip muffin to-go at the counter, and it must've been 500+ calories as the inside was completely chip filled. I recommend this only for dessert-- I ate every last crumb but could barely move after. This restaurant is Persian themed, and most of the staff comes from Bulgaria for the season with housing provided by the owner. Everyone's English is great and the service is A+. Walking in, seating looks limited, but they have a whole upstairs area including a retail section and restrooms.

The service was good even though I don't think she understood some of our order because it was wrong when it first came out. But they fixed it. The açaí bowl was fresh but expensive. The matcha wasn't very sweet even with the added sweet cold foam. The presentation of the food was nice. For the price idk if it was worth it. Nicely decorated place. If you are jumping between both islands DO NOT sit down to eat. Order to go! This soaked up an hour or so of our time!

Lemon press never disappoints. I'm sorry, I always associate with a small portion/girls menu- it is not. The small portions are not small , but we did order several to share and took several small portions home to enjoy later. This could be Nantucket best hidden restaurant

Delicious brunch at Lemon Press. Food was tasty & fresh. Small spot on the Main St in Nantucket. We all loved our meals and would return on our next visit.

Lemon Press has such a great selection of specialty drinks and breakfast items! The line was definitely worth it. I got the mocha latee, as well as the breakfast burrito. Although it's on the pricier side, the burrito was huge and filled with cheese, egg, potatoes, and avocado. It definitely can be difficult to find somewhere to sit inside, so I recommend ordering to-go. I'll be back next I'm in Nantucket!

On our day trip to Nantucket, Lemon Press was our first stop off the ferry and it did not disappoint. I ordered an iced Grey Lady which was a delicious combination of lavender and vanilla along with a chocolate croissant. The croissant was delicious and flaky with melted chocolate inside. All in all we were very pleased with our Lemon Press experience!

Cute inside but rude host saying we were suppose to wait downstairs when the rest of the guest also walked up the stairs to be seated. Food was mid and overpriced. My latte was mostly milk, no coffee in it at all. Pass and go to your local deli for brunch

Cute and convenient location, nice and helpful staff, promising menu, but the food...:( Sadly, our dishes were bland and very overpriced for the portion size. Stale handful of pita chips with 2 oz of unripe, unflavored chopped tomatoes doesn't pass for ezme. Generic bagel. Even the cup of tea was smaller than the fresh, loose-leaf teabag deserved. I wanted to like this place, but it just doesn't deliver.

Waited 45 minutes for a "TB-12" smoothie and a cold breakfast sandwich . Tasted disgusting and was overpriced. Won't be back

I went a while ago but it's a very cute breakfast spot with yummy dishes. The service was kind and the whole aesthetic is pleasing.

Cute place but the food it is okay. The avocado toast wasn't toasted and they don't use fresh avocado.

Good drinks. Pass on the lox sandwich. Whipped feta does not work Every thing else looked good. Hate their "clover" payment system to charge on

The cost is on par with what you'll see at the other restaurants in this part of town but I don't think the quality or quantities quite deliver at the price point. For a $50 salmon entree, I expect to have a pretty amazing meal. The fish was nice but tiny, and the sides were underwhelming. I double checked the menu when I saw my plate thinking maybe I ordered an app by mistake. The service was a bit strange. The woman who seated us asked if we were ready to order - we requested a few minutes to browse. Not even a minute later a different waiter came by to take our order - we still weren't ready so said we needed another minute or two to look. The original waiter returned almost as quickly. Still a little unprepared, we did the thing where the first few people in the party order while everyone else scrambles to pick. It felt like they wanted to rush us in and out of the table, but we were the only party in the restaurant. After waiting for our food for about 15 minutes the owner of the restaurant comes by to ask if we've been in before/have questions about the menu etc and then tries to take our food order for a fourth time and was surprised to learn that we'd already been helped. Throughout the meal we had a total of 4 people checking in on us and it seemed like none of them were coordinating behind the scenes. The ambiance is cute, but I think it just makes more sense for breakfast or lunch. I imagine their service over the bakery counter is great and this place just isn't really set up to be a great sit down dinner spot.

Mixed experiences here. What's great: * online ordering and easy pickup at front * salmon super fresh for bagel sandwich * cappuccinos are solid What's not so great; * ordered an açaí bowl and it only came with acai, blueberries, and strawberries. Nothing else. For $15. On the online ordering screen it says that toppings are $1 extra but the main menu says it's supposed to include granola, nuts, honey etc.

Just ok. Too busy, couldn't eat together. My poached eggs were very easy almost raw (I asked for easy). My husband had to wait 15-20 min for a latte and then another 5 for his smoothie. Very loud upstairs but a cute atmosphere.

Really classy ambiance & great service. Most folks seem to go there for brunch but we went to try out the dinner menu and were not disappointed. Felt like I was eating fresh & healthy home cooked meals (loved their salmon bowl), highly recommend!

Way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a large latte for $7 and it wasn't a full cup and then it was a lot of foam. Ended up being about 60% full. Handlebar Cafe is better with a nicer atmosphere. Lemon Press is for tourists who don't know better. Be the tourist who does and go to Handlebar.

Sadly, I have to give a negative review for this place. First off- service!! I came in there for the first time and asked their advice on the matcha or chai and the woman who rang me up wasn't very helpful so I went for the matcha and it had no taste and wasn't mixed at the bottom. I went to return and the girls behind the counter were rude and gave me attitude when I asked them to remake it and instead I switched it out for the chai and it was watered down by the almond milk. I decided I'd stick with it because I didn't want to be a bother to the girls behind the counter. Not worth the overpriced drinks or hype!

Lemon press might just be the hottest breakfast place in Nantucket. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed. The Mediterranean influence is strong and absolutely delicious . YUM!

Had a wonderful lunch there. We both ordered poke bowls. She got grilled salmon, which was delicious, and I got tuna. I asked them to add kelp to mine, which they were happy to do. It was great. It is a lovely place, and the service was exceptional. Joe, in particular, chatted with us for a while, taking interest in where we were from, what we did for careers, etc. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Place with nice ambiance and great food, delicious drinks and coffee, the staff are very friendly

We were in Nantucket for the weekend and stopped by here for breakfast on a Saturday. We were scared there would be a long wait because there were so many people outside, luckily most people were there for take out. We were seated right away but soon afterwards the place was pretty full (we arrived around 10). I got an acai bowl, and my husband got the breakfast burrito. My acai bowl was super fresh, i got it with almond butter, strawberries and blueberries. My husbands burrito was very flavorful. I got freshly squeezed orange juice which was a little pricey but then again everything in Nantucket is. The place was very cute and the service was friendly. Overall we recommend, and would definitely go back if we return.

Fresh take on Mediterranean, Middle Eastern tapas. Lemon Press adds a new twist on traditional favorites, elevating the cuisine. The service made us feel like visiting VIPs. Well worth a place among Nantucket's best.

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating in this beautiful restaurant today & were acquainted with the best service! Our waitress, Brittany, made the space feel like home with her welcoming personality. She was very prompt, attentive, and made our overall experience wonderful. Thank you!!

Service was great, food was ok, but stay away from alcohol drinks. We were in on a cold spring day. Ordered hot chocolate with a shot of whiskey to warm us up. Cost was $42....they charged separately $5 for each hot chocolate & $16 for each shot of whiskey...are you kidding me? The cost for 1 gyro, 1 hummus & the 2 hit cocoas was over $110. Not worth it!

We had breakfast here two days in a row, it's so good. Favorite dishes: Persian bkfst with duck hash is totally awesome. Egg sandwich is perfect with Portuguese sweet bread and just right amount of special sauce. Ahmet, who served us both days, was awesome and took extra special care of our celiac gluten free team member. Two thumbs up!!!

Food was delicious and server was very sweet. Beware- On our second visit here they did charge us 17 dollars for the water they brought to the table. Had we been made aware of the price we would have gotten tap water.

We had a very pleasant experience at the Lemon Press. Our waiter was very friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the grey lady hot latte which was very delicious. A little lacking on the lavender flavor but not lacking in the coffee department it was still very solid. I ordered the LP breakfast which was very good! The potatoes were crisp and delicious. The bacon, toast and eggs were also top notch. My husband ordered the burrito and he really enjoyed it. It had a hint of spicy seasoning which gave it some great flavor and a kick. The fruit was fresh and nicely presented! The interior upstairs (where we sat) was so beautiful! We sat alongside the wall with the bench and it was cozy and comfortable. We would return when we visit Nantucket again!

Delicious. We can for breakfast and loved our corner booth for the two of us. I had the Benedict and my partner had the burrito bowl. We both give rave reviews to the kitchen. A fabulous breakfast and atmosphere!

Really gorgeous interior and food was fabulous! Love the Persian breakfast as you can order your eggs any way you would like and then from there you fill the pita as if you're making Persian breakfast tacos! All of the fillers were fabulous and every thing was cooked perfectly!! The only thing was the weird interaction my friend and I had with staff :/ We are both in our mid 20's and both server and bartender came over to check ID's a total of three times and seemed to hesitate to serve us and made it a bit uncomfortable to continue the meal as we are of age and the way they went about it was a bit awkward as tables are very close together and so people close by did begin to stare. So that made things a little weird but I guess better safe than sorry, and we got our mimosas!

Harbor Harvest salad was wonderful! Sat at the bar with my wife and received prompt service. Happy Yelp suggested LP!!! 5 STARS!

Gyro plate, hummus and pita were absolutely amazing. I love coming in and grabbing a coffee to go or staying for a nice meals. Would highly recommend the stop.

I don't believe there is ever a time that this spot is not busy! We came both times during the early morning but even while we were in town and walking around, they seem to be flowing with crowds and the reason is justified! The açai bowl that I had was the most delicious and fulfilling breakfast! I got mine with mango, honey, and peanut butter with granola. They also seem to have a lot of options for pressed juices and coffees but I did not indulge while I was here. My friend got their breakfast sandwich and I can't seem to get it out of my head! Definitely a must try! If you can snag a spot outside, it would be great for taking in the Nantucket downtown/shopping area!

I enjoyed the healthy stuff. John got ginger shot.. Brave of him. It was a quite a shot!! I got a peppermint lemonade. It was very refreshing for the warm day.

With a beautiful storefront looking over the cobblestone streets of downtown Nantucket, we were REALLY expecting good things from the Lemon Press. Upon arriving, we found the staff to be a bit snobby & felt like we were bothering them as we ordered. We chose 2 coffees and avocado toast to share. There were tables outside, but no chairs, so we ate standing up. The toast came in a to go box, but there were no napkins or forks to eat it with, so we had to go back inside repeatedly. The toast itself was really pretty but tasted like vinegar. We were both a tad disappointed & will probably choose another place to grab a bite on our next trip.
