La Bicicletta - Caffè & Salumi

We’ve been lost in Modena for a one night layover and this place kinda saved us. Initially a bit cold service, but everything afterwards was fine - decent food, good drinks and even late smiles.

A nice bar close to the Modena city centre with a great selection of wines and cheeses, a great choice if you want to see what the region has to offer!

It was a recommendation from a local, but we were soo disappointed. Starting with the service which lacked consideration and finishing with the food that was really average. The jar of pork fat was disgusting, the salad was ok-ish and thank God we only paid 2€ of the shameful coperto!

Delicious typical food, good wine, nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff! Definitely get the pork lard with your appetizers to put on the Tigelle and Gnocco fritto.

The staff was truly excellent – very friendly, professional, and helpful. They speak both Italian and English, which made everything easier and more pleasant. The service was quick, precise, and well-organized. I was very satisfied with the experience. Highly recommended!

Had the lasagna and it was the smallest serve of pasta so far in 3 weeks in italy. €10 and all gone in a few bites, what an absolute rip off. The waiter's response was, "oh, that's our serves here". Disgraceful, would never recommend.

Good food, but some of us got cold food inside. Nice place with many people.
