We had an excellent experience at Lion Habitat Ranch. Our guide, Tyler, was absolutely awesome. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the animals, which made the entire visit even more meaningful. The private tour is, without question, the best way to experience this place. It allows you to move at a comfortable pace, ask questions, and really connect with the animals and the mission of the ranch without feeling rushed or crowded. If you are considering a visit, I strongly recommend booking a private tour and asking for Tyler if possible. It was a memorable, well-run experience that exceeded expectations.

This was such a neat experience. You can get so close to the majestic lions. The tortoises, emus and ostrich are also very cool to see! Volunteer Jim greeted us as soon as I walked in and was very present throughout our visit. He had a lot of great animal facts for us and we loved his collection of animal finds that he shared with us. He also takes amazing photos!

Absolutely phenomenal! The animals, keepers, and volunteers were amazing! Huge shoutout to how funny and informative volunteer Jim was! (egg hole 🤣🤣🤣) Some pros: + I have never been able to see animals/lions this closely at a zoo. Being close at a safe distance really allows you to appreciate them for a very long time. + there were activities/enrichment to watch around the clock! I really enjoyed hoofing it from a Bird Chat to a lion snack to an emu painting and then to another lion snack and then a photo opp with Rock. + I learned SO MUCH! huge shoutout again to the keepers and volunteers who told us so much

We love the lion habitat! I took my 1.5 and 3.5 year old and we had such a great time. You could tell the staff really wanted everyone to have a great time, and Jim was especially wonderful, teaching my girls new things and making sure we didn't miss a chance to watch a feeding or enrichment session. You get so close to the beautiful animals, and my kids especially loved Ringo the parrot who said "Hi". We will be back again soon. Thanks to all the staff for making it such a great place to visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great time at the Lion Habitat in Las Vegas, NV! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was no wait to get in, which made the experience even better. It’s perfect for families — my son absolutely loved seeing the lions up close and learning about their care. You can stop by for a quick visit or easily spend a couple of hours exploring and watching the animals. It’s a fun, educational, and memorable activity for all ages. Highly recommend adding this stop to your Vegas trip! 🦁💛

Lion Habitat is a great place to see lions up close while they feed. It's a small zoo with lions, ostrich, and parrots, but there is no giraffe as it died a year ago. Overall, it's a nice place to visit and it's a non-profit organization. The people are nice and interactive. There's a small gift shop with reasonably priced items. Overall, it's a compact place worth visiting at least once.

What a fun couple of hours! We were there for lion feedings and a presentation on the ostriches and emus. Unfortunately, the giraffe is no longer with them. Volunteer Jim was great at making sure the kids were included and involved in the learning.

Went to the Lion Habitat Ranch with my family today and we had an amazing experience! 🥰 The place is clean, welcoming and very family friendly. They have so many lions and you can see them up close while still feeling completely safe. Hearing them all roar together was absolutely incredible. 🦁 The keepers and volunteers are so kind and friendly ❤️you can truly tell they love what they do. The animals are clearly very well cared for and loved. Their gift shop has very reasonable pricing! definitely grab one of the beautiful paintings done by Benny the Lion to support them! 🥰 The highlight for my kids (6 and 9 years old) was feeding the lions. It costs extra but it was totally worth it! They thought it was the coolest thing ever! They also absolutely loved Ringo, the very friendly and beautiful parrot. The ranch housed the original MGM lions after they retired from the MGM casino. This is a nonprofit ranch that relies on donations and visitors for funding. I saw some comments claiming the lions live in “wood boxes”…that’s not true at all. They live in wooden shelters with heated pads and a swamp cooler. The area is clean and they are very well cared for. I highly recommend this place 🥰 We will definitely be bringing our kids back!
