We visited the W Atlanta for my bachelorette weekend in Atlanta. This place is very popular. Understandably so because it is nice and in a convenient location. This was a good place for anyone coming into town and looking for a place of convenience. I would not recommend for families or couples who are looking for a quiet weekend. We enjoyed the rooftop pool, they even had a dj this evening. Our rooms were nice. Be aware everything in mani fridge is for purchase.

Celebrated my birthday with my family for the weekend. We stayed in the cool corner room. I also had spa services. Honestly I was very unimpressed. For the reputation this hotel has I was surprised at how the room was kept. The curtains had stains all over them and some of chains to pull the curtains up or down didnt really work. The bathroom would occasionally smell like sewage at night, and the hallways always smelled like smoke. The spa was amazing but I spent over an hour wasting time waiting due to someone calling out or something. Tried to order food one evening but couldn't because the register randomly stopped working. The next night we were able and it was delicious. Vallet is a really good service they are fast and the bell hops are helpful. I wouldn't stay here again nor would I recommend it.

The front desk,staff, and valet were polite, but that’s the only positive I can give. This hotel screams ‘classy-trashy.’ The overall vibe felt more like a place for bringing hook ups than for couples or families looking for a comfortable stay. There wasn’t even trash bags in the room for the garbage. The cups provided couldn’t even hold coffee without falling apart. Everything looked dirty — chipped furniture, stained carpets, and worn-out details. Even in the lobby, which should set the standard, I could see thick dust on the chandelier decorations and grime all over the podiums. If you’re going to try to look upscale, at least keep it clean. Why bother decorating if it’s going to be filthy? For the price, this place is absolutely not worth it. Every time you respond to a negative rating, you say you’ll reach out to your leadership and design teams for future consideration. Do you actually mean that, or are you just repeating it to sound ‘professional’?

I recently stayed at the W Hotel Downtown Atlanta, and while the front desk staff were exceptional in attitude and professionalism, my room experience was very disappointing. Upon entering the room, “stated to be ready”, the first thing I noticed was a dried blood stain on the top blanket of the made bed. This should never have been overlooked by housekeeping. To make matters worse, there was trash left in the trash can, giving the impression the room had not been properly cleaned or prepared. At this price point and for a hotel with such a prestigious name, this level of oversight is simply unacceptable. To their credit, the front desk staff responded quickly. They came to the room, apologized, documented the issues with photos, and escorted me to another room. Their professionalism stood out, but unfortunately, upon checkout there was no further acknowledgment of the situation no discount, no extra points, and no apology from management. While I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the lack of attention to detail in room cleanliness raises concerns about the overall standards of care. Because of this, I’m not sure if I would choose to stay here again.

We will echo a few other reviews from folks. For a 4 1/2 star Marriott property, we didn’t think to do too much research before arriving but unfortunately we should have. Hotel is extremely club-y. It’s fine if that’s what you’re expecting but if you’re hoping to relax, this hotel is not the right fit. My spa appointment was fairly underwhelming - but not at the fault of any of the staff. My technician and the first desk worker were extremely sweet, accommodating, and I’d give them 5 stars all around. But the amenities were nothing special - in the changing room almost all of the lockers were broken / unable to lock my belongings. The relaxing area is just a small room with seats. Meanwhile the DJ at the pool next to us is bumping music the whole time. Rooms were fine - they seemed pretty outdated. The front desk staff did not seem too terribly worried about making sure our stay was a nice experience. Just underwhelmed all around unfortunately!

Unfortunately my visit was not up to the standard I have come to expect from a stay at the W Hotel. We booked a stay at the W Atlanta downtown as we were going out for a friend's birthday and decided to make it a staycation. We always like to book a room with view so we're pretty selective where we stay and the room we select. Our visit this particular evening did not meet expectations and it was overwhelmingly due to housekeeping. We had to moved to 3 different rooms before finding one that was not unacceptably dirty. We experienced everything from sticky carpet by the windows (where we could enjoy the view) to some sort of substance that had landed on the metal lampshade by the bed and had ran down the lampshade to where you could visibility see the stain, the back of the toilets were dirty and so on and this wasn't just in one room. We found this as a reoccurring theme in each of the rooms we were reassigned. I really hope the team at the W Atlanta will take the time to do a deep clean of their rooms.

First of all, I want to express my admiration for Marriott hotels, which I usually enjoy staying at. However, my recent experience at the W was disappointing, and I wish I had done more thorough research beforehand. While I appreciate how quickly they checked us into our room, the accommodations were not as described online. The room was supposed to sleep three, but there was no sleeper sofa, forcing my son to sleep on the floor. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired—the walls were scuffed, and there were mysterious things stuck to the shower glass. My son is still on the floor, and we have another day to endure. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The people are nice but the hotel is living off of nostalgia. Yes, they are doing upgrades and it is difficult to say what that experience will look like. However, at this time, it is not nearly worth the cost. The food was average at best, the building itself does little to sooth noise from adjoining rooms or outside, and guest are not prompted to not be on speaker phone/facetime in the dining areas. Not a great experience.

Very enjoyable stay! Walking into the Hotel gives an instant NY Modern vibe. The doors open automatically to a hot pink design while music overhead gives you the feel of a good time ahead. The mats change throughout the day which is a great touch. Upon entry, to the right is a restaurant which doubles as a lounge and bar. DJs are there on certain nights, but you can definitely hang out here with friends. To the left is the lobby which leads around the corner to another restaurant for dining, coffee, breakfast, lunch. The room was very clean, true to Marriott standards. I was especially pleased to see 3 bottles of water in the room, all complimentary. The snacks and beverages are an additional cost, but certainly convenient for a last minute snack. Having the leather couch and desk chair in the room keeps you from sitting on the bed in "outside" clothes. The bathroom set-up, the sink area is exposed in the room. The toilet is behind a closed in door space, but the shower is exposed. Make sure to close your curtains when getting ready! The room is fine for singles and couples who are very open with each other. The location is on the same street you take to get to the Aquarium and the Conference Center. It is walkable if you want. Many restaurants heading towards that same direction as well.

If you want to stay at a hotel designed by the same people who decorated Planet Fitness, then the W Downtown Atlanta is for you. For the rest of us, you might want to go somewhere else. My wife and I stayed here while traveling from Tennessee to Florida. The rooms needed a good cleaning - our floor needed to be vacuumed. Care wasn't taken when painting the rooms / bathrooms, which were purple. We cut our stay short and left after one night. I'm surprised this is branded a "Luxury" Marriott hotel. Maybe I'm old or my standards are too high. The "condoms and lube" for $11 at the mini bar suggests my wife and I may not be the target audience for this hotel.

I've been to this note a few times. You only can Valet park. The parking staff are fairly quick upon arrival but leaving out on a Sunday definitely try to leave out before regular check out hours because you'll definitely be waiting a good hour or so. The location is pretty convenient when it comes to doing things in the inner city. If you have any balloons be careful they do have sharp objects hanging in the front entrance. It does have a bar down stairs as well as by the pool. Overall I like the hotel it's just a few things that need adjusting. My room was not cleaned properly as it had things on the floor, etc. they give you an option to skip days of cleaning for reward points. Yet I chose for my room to be cleaned daily as I had someone to come in and decorate it. The cleaning staff did not clean they just fixed the bed and replaced the towels. Yet when I asked for them to vacuum the staff member literally told me to get the vacuum and bring it back. The audacity yet they didn't even empty the trash or wipe out the sinks either. Outside of that the view of the city is nice. Mini fridge is small being that they pre-stock it with things for you to purchase which doesn't leave any room for your food. Also there isn't any way to heat up your food so keep that in mind. Since I'm writing a review I'll share how the space got decorated but the view enhanced vibe. Also great pool view as well.

Had a nice stay here for a nearby conference. The room is spacious and quiet, and beds are pretty comfy. They were able to store our luggage after check out. The rooftop pool was not heated but we enjoyed lounging by the pool itself as the weather was really nice. The room was not cleaned the second day of our stay for some reason. I liked the overall vibe of this hotel - modern and fun. Some nights it felt like I was walking into a club. The bar area on the right is nice with lots of seating.

Amazing place to stay when visiting Atlanta ! I loved every second of being here, i was visiting my son for his birthday and I booked a stay at the W and it not disappoint! I also had a facial treatment, breakfast in bed definitely will be coming back it's near everything I need staff was kind, and the manager at the spa she such a such lady was very helpful and gave me tips on how to get around in Atlanta, I'm thinking about moving there in the future but I highly recommend staying at the W I relaxed by the pool area, walked to dinner from the hotel it was just the perfect stay for me

Thought this hotel was really nice, the reviews looked great and the pictures were favorable. Unfortunately, that is far from accurate. I'll start with the parking. Valet is the only option available at $55 a night. Or a parking lot (unsecured) across the street for $11. The valet staff had plenty of other cars unloading during this time so I asked if we can park and check in, if I was out of the way. No problem, just expensive. Next, the front staff were little help. Even though I expressed that I would not like to use valet, the employee tried saying it was mandatory and I had to use it. After arguing for a few minutes the issue was resolved by me saying it's none of their business where I park. after that interaction, the employee asked if I wanted a king bed instead of the dual queen - my wife wanted a large tub since the pool area sucks and the queen room is the only one that offers it. I expressed that I chose the queen room for a reason, and again, he told me that I should do the king instead even after the tub conversation. Now that I am finally checked in, I look around the lobby to take in the environment. The bar is not open but it's visible from the front, looked nice. The only information for the amenities in the hotel are on a crudely printed flier sitting on the check in counter, two pages long but the second page was not there. So I did not get to read about the hours and locations of the hotel areas. Once we finally got to our room, there wasn't much to brag about. Tub was nice, the sheets were made. The desk was dirty and the nightstand had stains. Real classy.

I have no idea why this hotel has such poor reviews! I had such a dreamy stay. Aesthetically this place is trendy right when you walk in. The front desk was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The king room on the 11th floor had a city view and was comfortable. The king bed was plush and made a wonderful stay. You can tell the room was a bit dated by drawers and doors but it didn't affect my stay. The shower had awesome shower pressure and the bathroom was a good size. Cleaning service came every day for our 3 night stay. The highlight of the stay was the rooftop pool. It was quiet, beautiful, relaxing and so dreamy. Luckily we stayed during the week but I can imagine how busy it gets during the summer! The views are beautiful with the infinity pool. I do wish they had the wet bar in operation during the week but currently Thursday to Sunday with limited hours. Overall, a quiet stay and made a great baecation!

Ah, the glamorous life of a frequent traveler! You snagged a corner suite at the W Hotel--ideal for a romantic birthday getaway with your wife and a view of the Atlanta skyline that could make even the stars feel jealous. But alas, it seems the hotel experience had a plot twist worthy of a rom-com! First, the electronic check-in device clearly decided to take a day off, forcing you to schlep to the front desk--classic! Then, the moment you pulled back the sheets, a brown stain greeted you like an unwelcome houseguest. Talk about a surprise party no one asked for! Kudos to the room service hero who swooped in to save the day with delicious food, but then you discovered that the room looked like it had hosted a wild party itself. Scratch marks on the walls and dirty furniture? Who knew "rustic charm" had a new definition? In a nutshell, your hotel stay was a blend of fabulous service and a room that seemed to have lost a bet. You went in for luxury, but it sounds like you got a side of "what happened here?" with your skyline view. Here's to better luck next time--may the sheets be spotless and the walls unmarred!

We recently stayed at The W, and our experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks largely to the incredible customer service we received from Rita and her team. We encountered some issues with our booking, which initially left us feeling quite frustrated. However, Rita went above and beyond to resolve the situation. She not only handled the problems with efficiency but also made sure that our stay was as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Her personal touch and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction truly stood out. Because of this, The W will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. We even find ourselves talking about how we can spot our room from the highway, reminiscing about the wonderful memories made there. We can't thank Rita and the team enough for turning what could have been a stressful experience into something we'll never forget. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

3 weeks here and the experience literally could not get any better! The staff is ridiculously present and engaging not mention accommodating! The rooms are clean clean clean! The products in the rooms are top tier ESPECIALLY the facial wash!! Who gives you that?! The restaurant and lounge are crazy good food drinks and vibes not to mention the coffee bar which rivals any Starbucks or dunkin on any given day! Book now! Location is dope too... one quick turn and you're on the interstate!!

This was my second time staying here, last time (9 years ago) it was amazing- five stars in every way, the experience was so memorable. This time around it could not have been more different. The long wait at valet 15-20 minutes, the limited menu, no staff, room service being inconsistent and still in plastic (rates went back to pre Covid and more but the service and the limitations are sure still below par). Seems like money is all they focus on, not service and certainly not return Bonvoy members as guests. But if they want to keep pandemic measures why not apply that energy ti housekeeping and cleaning, there were a number of dirty surfaces and sheets in my room. Staying at a W hotel and paying their rates I expect luxury not Holiday Inn treatment.

I gave 3 stars because overall the experience did not meet my expectations. The Women's lounge is tiny, it's can comfortably fit three people. The shower frankly was dirty, it didn't have any amenities. The shampoo and body wash was empty entirely and the condition was discolored. Lastly, the food at the pool was disappointing. My salad was $30 and the lettuce was wilted. Also note- parking is $35, there's no street parking. They do not validate for $$ treatments at their spa.

We stayed at the W Downtown for 3 nights. Highlights: - Food was amazing. Generally breakfast at hotels is mediocre. Here, the food was great!! The bread was fresh from a local bakery, eggs seemed fresh from a farm and the Bacon was meat and crunchy! The French fries are spectacular as well, had them every day! Grace was an amazing server for dinner as well, wish she was there for every meal. - The spa was excellent. Kateesha was super helpful in finding us an appointment and David was an excellent masseuse and Shelicia was excellent for mani/pedi. - Rooms were super nice too. Lowlights: - Housekeeping was bad. The first day it felt like they did it in 5 mins. Trash was not emptied, bed and towels were still a little rumpled. The second day, they didn't do any housekeeping st all, despite confirming it twice.

This is a posh hotel in downtown Atlanta. Think modern, hip, style and located right downtown. I had a business meeting downtown and was able to walk there from the hotel. LOBBY I don't normally think much of hotel lobbies but there is a large cool space to chill with a few semi separated areas for different parties. The lobby is more than just a place to check in...it's a place to hang, which I did one night with a beer from the bar. A cool spiral staircase rises from near checkin counter but is roped off. Apparently used to be a meat bar but now is just an event space. ROOM Modern, spacious and posh. Shower has glass wall with full view into room so may not be place if you are staying with kids or friends. ROOF TOP POOL The roof top pool is pretty nice, not large but quality. There are some shallow in-water lounge chairs to sit in that are up against glass window walls overlooking the city. Amazing view! There is a wet bar by the bar with indoor space to hang out...however bar was closed when I stayed here. PARKING $45/day for valet parking, which is only option. When we arrived, we entered parking to self-park only to learn it was parking owned by next door connected building and had no in/out privileges. The hotel valet has access to this parking and was kind enough to move our car to proper valet parking. I suspect it's in same location using the valet reserved spots, but don't know for sure. NOTE: Building has hotel and living space. There are separate elevators for residence vs hotel.

DO NOT RESERVE THIS HOTEL. My husband & I stayed here last weekend 6/17-6/19. This was a birthday staycation for myself as my husband and I reside in Georgia. I am outraged and shocked at how awful this hotel truly is. On arrival the valet is very unprofessional and there was no sense of urgency what so ever- there was a 10-20 min wait on valet which I find ridiculous . After checking in to the hotel- my husband and I head up to our room and needless to say - it was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in . The carpet was filthy. You could see several stains on the carpet including some crumbs and goldfish crackers that were left behind I'm assuming from the previous occupant. The walls were covered in filth. On the wall where the television was mounted there was a yellow substance spilling down the walls. The leather lounge sofa had stains of some type of liquid - which shows the lack of effort and no attempt to be wiped down or properly sanitized. The head boards were filthy and appeared to not have been dusted or properly cleaned. The young lady at the front desk was able to get us another room but apparently during the time of our stay the only thing available was a handicap accessible room which ideally was not what I paid for . To top it off this room was also not clean - as the bathroom had something running down the walls. Not once was our room cleaned or reset during the day - no fresh linens or towels. I guess that was our job to request daily cleanings? I ended up checking out a day early as the stay was so awful I couldn't bring myself to relax or enjoy myself in such an unpleasant environment. Upon checking out and I am hit with a bill of $110 for valet in which my husband and I only vale parked for 2-3 hours but decided to park across the street with more reasonable pricing . everything at the W is a charge. It truly is overpriced and far from luxury. Please refer to pictures I've added below. Overall I wish I could rate this hotel a negative star. I was underwhelmed on the lack of detail and attention.` I wouldn't suggest this hotel to my worst enemy.

Oh god I am very upset. I booked my room about 3+ weeks ago. It was two queen beds. When i arrived they said my room is no longer available and offered ONE room with ONE king bed and an air mattress. Yes, an air mattress. which is definitely not suitable for four people. The literal manager said this and he seemed so unapologetic. Along with our room adjustments they said they would only refund $50 out of the $500 i paid for my room. They didn't even try to help us find another hotel that would work for us. The whole situation was super upsetting and very inconvenient. We would've been fine if we got refunded or even a little less for the room and were still able to stay in the room because the 50 for both nights is not acceptable. They didn't even call prior to us arriving so we barely had any time to get another hotel and there were very limited options. We are all upset with the way the hotel manager handled the situation and we will not be returning.

Ill start with the valet is $55. this just gets old so quick. If you don't valet, you are in a shoddy lot across the street. The EY building next door apparently does not allow parking for W guests even though they have overnight access. The hotel is okay. There were some problems. They had a lot of people there and there are 2 elevators for 14 floors. There is a long wait, especially with the crowds they had. I got a junior suite which was nice. There were some oddities, the bathroom has floor to ceiling glass windows. This is fine but I fear it is possible for someone to see into the room. The shower is okay because they are glossed out but once you are in the bathroom it is free game even with the blinds down. I would like this hotel if it was $40 cheaper but at the price I paid (~$200, which I was told is a good price) was lacking. I did not eat at the hotel and didn't really explore the property. It is in a busy traffic area too so that sort of bites. Overall, 3-star is fair.

I had a great stay at the W. The reception when I arrived was very nice, accommodating and efficient. The room was spacious, clean and well lit. The bath products are top quality. I ordered room service the first night. It was timely and delicious. The butternut squash bisque was excellent. Coffee service was provided in the lobby in the morning and there is also a coffee shop for lattes and espresso's. Location is good for Americas mart. Management was accessible and very friendly. I would stay here again. It's a good find and very well managed.

It's been some time since I've been at a W. I've stayed at many Ws in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles and I remember it being a top tier hotel. This particular W in downtown Atlanta is not. Service was terrible. Bar was not open. We were told the pool was open and heated but not at a level that is pleasant. Valet was $55. Rooms are odd and over indexed in square footage for the bathroom. The worst in my opinion is there is NO WIFI. What hotel in this day and age is too cheap or clueless to offer free WiFi in rooms ? This one.

This is nothing but an overpriced Motel 6. The valet is a complete cluster f--, with no sense of organization. The person who checked us in, although very friendly, had such a heavy accent we couldn't understand what he was saying. Once we got into the room we found it dirty. The bathroom door would not lock, the paint was a god-awful purple color that didn't match anything. A single small meal from room service was over $60.00!! Fettuccini and a side salad with no drink, $60!!! This is nowhere near worth the $500 a night we paid... A total ripoff! Stay far away from this place if you're coming to Atlanta. It will ruin your trip!

This hotel is very ascetically pleasing. 11 out of 10 would recommend! My girlfriend's and I had an amazing stay. Came down for my 31st birthday and this hotel and staff made me feel truly appreciated. The room, location, atmosphere, and food was amazing. Immediately the staff from the valet to the front desk and everyone in between was so kind. And not the fake kind, like the genuine "i enjoy coming to work" type of kind. I could go on and on but I have to shoutout all the people i encountered: Shiniya, Andrea, Kourtney, Tonessa, Ryan B., Carl (valet), Danielle T., Daniel, Justin, and our amazing kindhearted waitress Nadirah that presented me with a birthday slice for breakfast. Yup breakfast! Brought true tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to stay again.

This review is for Bliss Spa in the hotel, as I couldn't find a separate page for them. The spa is tidy, witty friendly service and good products. I went for massage with Alex, who was phenomenally talented and professional. Check in and check out was easy and professional. Highly recommend!

The shower has no doors, is fully glass with absolutely zero privacy, and completely freezing since it has no doors and is free standing in the middle of the room. Drawers are all broken and barely open, shower handle pulls about a half inch off the shower wall when you turn it, and the room is generally in disrepair. All of the PEOPLE were lovely, but this is the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in and I will never stay in a W again. Incredibly disappointed, particularly after seeing the claim of a remodel in 2024.

I loved staying here! I stayed here for one night for a quick work trip and would definitely recommend everyone staying here. The lobby was gorgeous, these cool lights giving it such an upscale vibe. It looked like there was a restaurant inside, unfortunately didn't have a chance to try it but it was highly recommended by the staff. The rooms have these huge tubs and comfy beds that make it hard to leave!

Half hotel,half residential, how fun! I had a friend who stayed here on the residential side. You could enjoy living here and still get the same service as a hotel. A maid, room service, security,& a bar near by. I enjoyed just being a guest! Lol The bar at the hotel side was nice. Good music, great drinks. Bartenders are cool as well as the ambiance.

My partner and I travel a lot and we're excited to stay at this W as the photos looked great. We did see only 3 out of 5 stars but brushed that off to the fact that usually people leave reviews more often if they are disgruntled then satisfied. But unfortunately in this case it was not worth it in anyway: - we have an ESA dog with papers from NYU Langone medical center, we have traveled all over and nearly everywhere we've traveled (and much fancier hotels) the pet fees are waived because he is a support animal. Here they say they are pet friendly but charged an astronomical $100 fee despite him being a support animal for a one night stay. Apparently this is a Marriott policy but this was never disclosed upon making the reservation. - upon check in they said our reservation had been canceled. Even though it had been prepaid we had a booking confirmation, the room had already been charged to my credit card and no record of cancellation on our end. They did reinstate the reservation but it took 45 minutes and there was so extension or effort made to reconcile for the hassle or wait time on our end. - there is no dining or coffee shop available on site. Okay 4 star hotel? - the room in general is just dull. They try to be quirky and trendy on brand with the w but everything is just run down. - the rooftop pool is underwhelming the wetbar has no decor or ambiance it looks like a sterile white walled room. The bartender was doing sloppy pours and it took forever to get served. The manager on duty however was very very nice and dedicated to customer customer service so kudos to him as he was one of the few people who went out of his way for customer service. - the bed had no mattress cover and had stains on it, in times of covid it seems like an extra effort would be made for cleaning protocols. (See attached pics) - we got a call at 9am asking if our breakfast had been delivered. Given that they have shady fees and some shady customers it made me wonder if someone tried to order room service and bill it to our room. Considering they couldn't keep our reservation straight it wouldn't surprise me if they'd fall for a scam like this too. Net net not a 4 star hotel, dingy and run down with poor customer service and pretty shady crowd. For over $300 a night there are many many places I'd rather stay.

I've stayed at a couple different W's in the country, through work, and each one is similar but very different. Something unique to this location is that there are a lot of locals that come to the hotel: either the bar or the restaurant, etc. Below are some pros and cons for this location: Pros: ambience + decorations are just beautiful and so much fun, bar at night is fun and flirty (some nights they have a fun DJ!), kind and helpful staff, 24 hour gym, and convenient location for work and play. This hotel is located 15 min walking to all the popular tourist attractions in the city, so perfect if you're trying to fit some sight seeing in a busy day. Cons: Food was really expensive for the quality and delivery charges were super high. I stopped getting food from the hotel and started ordering from Uber Eats.

I'm not sure where to start ..... I guess I can start with the corner suite I stayed in: 1. The shades did not work inside our room (because they were broken) .... 2. The phone in the room was broken (could not call to the front desk or to order in-room dining services) ... 3. Housekeeping entered our suite at 9:30AM to clean (even though checkout is at 11am) ... 4. There are all kinds of waivers they make you sign upon checking into your room (i.e. stealing furniture, $200 holding fee, no alcohol in the room) ..... 5. No refrigerator in our (suite) room ..... 6. The pool is 100% located in the shade ...... 7. The $45 per day valet parking attendants begged for tips every time we got a car in and out of valet ...... I use to use this hotel monthly when I traveled from DC to Atlanta for my job (E*TRADE). All my SPG points are through the W Hotel, so it's my comfort zone when I'm in Atlanta. This may be my last visit to any W Hotel in ATL. The only plus about this hotel/suit is me and my girlfriend took a cute picture in one of the mirrors at the hotel.

I was excited to book this hotel for a girls weekend/bachelorette celebration. I have stayed here before so I thought this would have been the perfect location for our gathering. The hotels Cleanliness isn't bad in the common areas, but in our room I noticed wet streaks all over the paint. There were places of missing paint, excessive dust and even a stained mattress (blood?) Front desk staff is what you'd expect, mostly polite except the night shift person. Unfortunately I had to ask for towels and toiletries like 3x before they were delivered. We went to the wet bar once, and the dusty bartender used a dirty mixer thing to make our chilled vodka shots. I noticed material floating in our cups and I said something to her, she was like "oh that's passionfruit" very nonchalantly. When did I ask for passionfruit remnants to be in my shots? I couldn't modify the tip because it was automatically charged and she just stared at me. The manager walked by while we were in the pool and I wanted to bring it to his attention, but the timing was off because I didn't want to go through that while we were having fun. I asked for him before leaving but I guess he was unavailable. I cleaned the room prior to leaving as they basically said if they have to clean anything even vacuum, they'll charge an extra $200 which I found to be insane. We had to move the minibar items to make room for our items which was only slightly annoying because they said they wouldn't take them out for us. I probably won't stay here again until they undergo a renovation or two, because the anesthetic is kind of depressing vs exciting as I'd hoped.

Upon arrival the wait was more than 30 minutes as one person appeared to be taking call in reservations while the other male clerk struggled to check people in. Secondly the hotel has zero microwave in the room or hall but they offered to rent one for $25. Upon checking in the toilet ran continuously for more than hour and only after demanding another room did the maintenance team showed up to fix it The hotel prohibited bringing food or drinks into the pool area. The setup only allows you to buy food and drinks from them while at the pool. Drinks are $15 and more Finally the toilet that ran all day previously finally stopped up. The saddest part is this was our 34 th anniversary and we live 45 minutes away and this staycations was clearly not worth the hype and appear to force the hotel patrons to pay for the up keep of the private residence from the 17th floor and up. The website is misleading and perhaps the better rooms and experience reserved for the private residence. I rate my experience as horrible and give the "W" 1 star.

We were under impressed. The important things like the bathroom, toilets, and such were old, low to the ground, and continued to run. The elevator was loud and needed maintenance. The staff was friendly but not super helpful. There are a lot of options.... Look around!

The W charges for everything WIFI $14 each person ,microwave $25 fee, parking $55 a day. The room was beautiful until I took a deeper look. The mattress was falling apart. I have a picture inserted below. When I stripped that bed there was a large yellow stain on the blanket. The microwave that they gave us to use was old and too 4 min and 30 sec just to heat up the food. They charged me an extra $105. When I called to ask what was it for they claimed they didn't get the whole stay amount. While I was on the they manager acted like had no service and hung up. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed I was looking forward to staying here thinking it was an upscale hotel. I was sadly mistaken.

Pros: -The Spa managed by Kateesha was the best thing about our stay. We had two masseuses and they were excellent! -24hr gym: perfect! The hotel staff were professional Cons: -Our room smelled of weed wafting through the air vents as we slept. Smell of weed in the elevators. Cheap Weed smell the whole weekend -was horrible! -Shower had black mold all over the grout on the shower head side (good water pressure though) -Scraped up furnishings, chipped paint on walls/nightstands -Sound of ambulances all night long, both nights; due to glass all around the room you hear EVERYTHING- even people arguing out front of the club- we were on the 8th floor. This was not the hotel we should have stayed in. We mainly came for the Spa, but didn't realize it was a hotel people could smoke weed in. Live and learn.

Great location and design and decor is very trendy, fashion forward, and current which I prefer. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I went for a 'babymoon' and I was disappointed that zero steps was taken to recognize this. Unfortunately, the upgrades to the rooms had to cease because of COVID so the first room we had looked extremely old and worn in. There were stains, chips on furniture, etc. i was also disappointed that the room was so low despite me paying extra for a 'Fabulous' room. If it was going to be on a lower level as the Wonderful rooms, I would not have paid more. We were able to change to a better room. Only complaint is it was clear housekeeping was not doing their job which is concerning during this time. There was a handprint on the window and accumulated dust on the nightstands. At checkout, a valet charge was added despite us using a rideshare. I should not have to be on the lookout for fraudulent charges from a hotel and I'm still confused as to how this could have been added. However, the issue was fixed quickly.

Do not book this hotel. I've stayed at many W Hotels and all of them have been exceptional except for this one. When I checked in the staff couldn't understand that my nickname which I put on all of my reservations is different from my legal ID name. When I got to my room, I found the cover to be taken off my keycard reader. When I entered the room, It looked dated, nothing like the photos. The bathroom door did not lock and the shower was dirty. TV wasn't impressive either.

These rooms are horrible! They were not clean, so outdated and absolutely uncomfortable. The walls, floors and furniture were dirty. Do not assume just because it's a W means it's nice! Overpriced, not luxurious and so dirty. Apparently the W in Buckhead or Midtown is the place to choose? Horribly disappointed! The staff was very nice, only upside.

The good: I received a welcome note and complimentary macaroons. Very nice gesture. Not a good experience. Hotel common areas needed a good scrubbing. My room clearly had not been cleaned in a while -- I had to request new towels because the first set of towels in my room were covered in hair (100% not mine). Furniture desperately needs to be replaced and the walls need a good painting. The guests next to me were extremely loud until I finally fell asleep around 4:30 am (the last time I remember seeing on the clock was 4:23am). I called to complain twice, to which I was told security would come up. No one ever came up. I was told the gym would be open at 7am; it wasn't. I was in town for business...this hotel is clearly not for business trips. I won't be back.

Zero Stars! I don't recommend at all! As soon as the Hotel Doors open you're greeted with the smell of weed! The pictures online are deceiving. They need to fix cracks in the wall and consider remodeling. We pulled the sheets back off the bed to find dried blood on both sides of the bed. Why wasn't that replaced! The halls smell of weed this was my first time staying in ATL and I'm highly disappointed! Not worth the money at all!!!!

Modern with a sexy vibe to it- is how I would describe this hotel. Everything about this hotel was beautifully made and handcrafted. When you pull into the hotel lobby, there are exotic cars parked out in the front. Once you step into the lobby, you are greeted with super friendly hosts and staff and they even have a table of water with cucumbers (and possibly lemon) that serves not only as a cool refreshing drink, but serves as a detox. In terms of the room, we had a beautiful view of downtown Atlanta. We were on the 16th floor and had a mini bar in the room. (FYI: the Mini bar is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED as one bottle of tequila that is normally around $25 was close to $60 here). Upstairs is the pool bar, although the bar at the pool was never open while we were there. In order to get into the pool area, you have to have a key as it is off limits to the general public. Downstairs was a gym, and on the same side as the gym is a spa. With the elevators you have to use your key to go down. Also, there is a club area and a restaurant for drinks and bites. Although a bit on the pricey side, you get what you pay for which is good service, nice rooms and great vibes. Additionally, it was family friendly but also had a mixed crowd here which is always a good thing. I would definitely come back!

I love the sleek and sexy vibe that this location has. You notice it immediately as you walk in. This is our favorite place to stay when we are in Atlanta. We also love the midtown location, but this one has an awesome bar with a great drink menu. Fabulous place to people watch. The rooms vary by size but the style remains throughout. Many have a smoky glass wall that separates the bedroom from the bathroom. All modern rooms with plush linens. The Bliss Spa is always relaxing and their services are a great value for you are getting. The breakfast is great in the restaurant and we always have impeccable service no matter where we are within the hotel.

The Spa at the W ATL gets 2 thumbs up. I was a guest at the Westin and booked my spa service with The spa at the W. The ladies each of them were very nice and professional. Monica did my facial and it was nothing short of AMAZING. Then I had a massage, my husband I. A couples massage with Tabitha and Aaliyah. They were equally amazing. The best. I have to mention Tameeka the Concierge of services and the receptionist. They were all VERY GOOD. It's so very hard to find good people in the hospitality industry and beauty industry any more. When I do I like to acknowledge them. These ladies deserve the highest of praise for their delivery of service at the W Spa. Ladies thank you for your kindness, professionalism and impeccable service.

For the hefty price tag to stay here, this hotel does not live up to its name! Go somewhere else. Overall disappointing experience. The coffee shop is closed during the day---there is nothing in walking distance. No street parking so guests are forced to do valet. No option to self-park---valet is incredibly pricey per day. Valet is often slow to get your car. When we came down to eat at the restaurant they said they were understaffed so we would have to eat in plastic To-Go containers. Seriously!? The W Hotel is supposed to be a luxurious and high end stay and instead it feels like the Hampton Inn. There is no real spa---because a real spa would have a sauna/steam room.

The Spa at W Atlanta was the absolute worst massage I've ever experienced! David was not friendly, he walked and watched his clock for the majority of my service. This was a deep tissue massage, let's just say he rubbed me during the time he did decide to work. After each touch, I'm like it's going to get better, it was so bad, I opened my eyes to see what he was doing. Once I saw the clock was nearing my completion time, in my head I'm like he hasn't touched my neck or shoulders, once I saw him pick up his phone and turn to me to state he was finish, I then asked are you not going to do my neck and shoulders? He replied, oh I can do that now. The ABSOLUTE WORST!!! Management was not in full control of this matter, I will never return here nor recommend The Spa!!
