As soon as I entered the store, the security guard fixed his eyes on my shopping bag and watched me closely. It felt as if he was waiting for me to steal something, mirroring my every move. Not wanting to be misunderstood, I kept my hands in my jacket pockets and only looked around with my eyes for the items I wanted. When I asked two female staff members, who were chatting away, about a product, they simply said it wasn’t available and showed little interest in helping. Having lived in this area for 20 years, I have rarely visited this shop, as I usually buy from elsewhere, and I have never really had a reason to come here. But after such an unpleasant experience, I will not be returning. Reading other reviews, it seems many customers have had experiences similar to mine. A thoroughly disappointing shop — not recommended.

I absolutely love the brand but today’s experience did not leave a great impression. The lady at the door looked bored and unbothered to greet customers. I looked at her when walking in, smiled and said “hello”. She didn’t even bother to look at me let alone greet me back. I picked up the item I came to get and was just walking around looking at other stuff and from the corner of my eye I could see the security guard always somewhere around me looking what I was picking up and just following me around. Honestly planning on avoiding the Chelsea branch. Better go to Battersea Power station one. The staff there are always friendly and helpful

Such wonderful customer service from the lovely lady with black glasses and red lipstick, and the one wearing the long hijab with the French accent! It’s so rare these days to meet people who are genuinely kind and give such thoughtful advice. Thank you both for your warmth and professionalism!! I’ll definitely be coming back!

What lovely service from Vere! I popped in for a shade match in skin tints and not only is she knowledgeable but so very patient to try quite a few products until we found the absolute match. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

Great range of All beauty products. Clean. Stock clean and visible. Not tatty. Staff very polite Very busy but spacious. Lovely lady offered samples she even made an effort to decant some for us to try.

Poor customer service. When going to pay at the till I had to wait until the shop assistant stopped chatting to each other and finally bothered to acknowledge me. The assistant then failed to remove a large price sticker from the front of an item I specifically stated was a gift and specifically asked she removed the price from. Train your staff properly.

Security guard there seems to only be there to folllow people and watch them half a metre away. I kid you not I was about to buy a perfume and the guard was right next to me 🤣are you joking, how insulting! Every time I picked up an item he was right there - don’t know if it was racial preference going after me but I felt disgusted on my lunch break that he was within arms length all the all. Also there’s so MANY staff members it’s suffocating and none of the sample products are ever renewed. Why am I swatching a severely broken lip liner where the wood is sharpened so badly that I’m cutting my skin instead of swatching a colour. Kosas and refu section needs serious cleaning and refilling. Do you not have at least 1 staff member to check samples?

People of colour avoid this location. The security guards working at this store between Thursday 21st August and Saturday 23rd August behaved in an appalling and discriminatory manner by racially profiling an innocent woman of colour who was simply shopping peacefully. She was forced to leave the store because of the inappropriate stares and behaviour from the two guards present on that day. This is unacceptable. Do better and put an end to such ignorant conduct. This incident occurred at the Space NK store on Kings Road.

OK, I admit it, I am a beauty product whore. If there was a support group for this, I would be a regular member. And this lovely apothecary carries a little bit of everything from beauty products, to make up, to scented room candles, all from specialty, boutique brands. Many beauty items that hit the UK can usually be found here first. With brands such as ReVive facial line, Rodial boby creams, Diptyque candles, and Poppy Lipsticks are all here. I always go in, -just to browse- and come out with something to make me feel good. And with no calories involved!

I love the wide range of amazing products! Such a bad experience with the staff though..
