Beautiful, clean, amazing service and polite staff. An impressive pub with Japanese cuisine! Their cocktails are amazing as well as their menu! The tonkatsu sando is amazing, their wagyu dumplings of true umami flavours and if you see it on the menu try the udon carbonara, it's actually amazing.

We tried our luck in the afternoon and walked in without a reservation. They managed to find us a table, and the staff were very friendly. The katsu was excellent, and we also ordered kimchi on the side, which was delicious. We would love to come back again. We liked also interior design, it was very vibey. Next time we like to come at night.

Lovely casual izakaya with awesome yakitori selection , the corn too was delightful as was the wagyu skewers , perhaps the wagyu sushi was a bit unnecessary sauce game however it was delicious , a definite choice that can’t go wrong when in Athens

It was a complete disappointment. They cut the Wagyu steak three times and then grilled it again. They even sliced ​​the last one completely and re-cooked it. When I told them I couldn't accept this, that the meat had lost all its juices, they tried to convince me for nearly 10 minutes. Finally, they made a new one, with all their sullenness. If you don't even know how to cook meat, at least be polite to the customer and admit you couldn't do it. Once cut, you can't re-cook it! Other than that, the food I ordered was average. The place is small and uncomfortable. The people wearing black aprons are so sullen that they drain your energy. Only the waiters and bartenders are friendly.

The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, the music is great, and the service is spot-on friendly, attentive, and fast. Every dish is packed with flavor; the wagyu skewers and crispy rice are unforgettable! The cocktails are perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Definitely one of the best dining experiences in Athens stylish, fun, and full of energy. Highly recommend booking ahead!

We visited Birdman and, while the food was absolutely amazing and mouth-watering, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations, thus the 3 stars as the food hits 5⭐️ My personal favourite was the beef nigiri with truffle mayo, a true masterpiece. The restaurant is quite small, however the personnel and maître did not seem trained to manage the space effectively. Due to limited room, we were the ones who took our coats downstairs after no member of staff initially collected them. When I later went downstairs to collect them, one of the maîtres (a blond lady) told me, in a rather unfriendly manner, that they could have brought the coats upstairs for us. I explained that no one had taken them from us in the first place, so we didn’t know that was an option. As she was leaving she made another comment I didn’t hear, which added to the uncomfortable interaction. Additionally, the food took over 45 minutes to reach us, and the service overall was below average, which was truly disappointing.

Although the restaurant is quite small, it has a pleasant and relaxed vibe that adds to the overall dining experience. The food was nicely cooked and enjoyable, with good attention to flavour and presentation. However, in comparison with other Asian restaurants in the area, the menu and dishes felt a little less distinctive. The cocktail, while well-made, was noticeably small in portion for its price, which was a little disappointing. Overall, Birdman offers a friendly atmosphere and well-prepared food, making it a nice spot for a casual meal, though it could benefit from a touch more originality—and perhaps more generous cocktails—to stand out among its peers.
