The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards

I've taken a few classes at TAG... And I cannot say enough good things!!! Such a great program and I feel incredibly lucky to have access to such great instructors and equipment!!

I've attended adult workshops and my daughter attended summer camp here - we absolutely love this gallery and the programs offered. The staff is exceptionally kind and I always feel like I get my money's worth. Highly recommend.

Best art gallery ever! Lots of classes/workshops for kids and adults! Several offerings are for families as well. Highly recommend!

Great experience for my son to build his creative confidence.

We had a wonderful time learning about encaustic painting yesterday with Dana Holliday. She had information for us printed out on where to buy materials, what to get, and a brief history of the process, plus at the end of our class, she did one last quick painting technique with varnish which was unique and created some very cool looks. I for one cannot wait to try this again, hopefully in another one of Dana's classes! It was a lot of fun learning how to manipulate the wax, various methods of introducing color to our paintings, how to adhere materials to the surface, and particularly how to control the burners! It's a fine art, and Dana was very patient with us and demonstrated all the techniques slowly and methodically so we would have successful experiences with the media. Thank you, Dana!!

The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards is an incredibly beautiful space to create. The paper making workshop was soooooo much fun with instructor Liz McKinnon. She was great. Cant say enough about the great vibe you feel from the registration process to the check in people, and to Liz. I'm hooked and will return!

I absolutely love going to the TAG gallery. It is always a great place to see some wonderfully curated exhibits and I love to pop by the store on the way out.

The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards is a welcome addition to the Congdon Yards complex. Offering classes to various age groups, there is also a small area for children to explore art. Recently, they have added a full clay studio. Shows normally run for one to two months. Most of the shows are typically of local or regional artists in the main gallery. There are smaller hall galleries which often house elementary, middle and high school artwork. Located on the bottom floor of the complex. You can park in the large parking lot off of Elm Street. There is also parking available near the corner of Lindsay and English Road. Open only during the week from 12noon - 5pm does make it a bit tough to enjoy but there are times they are open later due to classes or show receptions.
