I had a great experience with Bettina at Heyday Tribeca. She’s very knowledgeable and took the time to understand my skin and goals before starting. Her touch is so gentle, and the whole appointment felt thoughtful and client-centered. My skin felt calm, hydrated, and refreshed. I’ll be booking with her again.

Adrienne is such a great facialist! Professional, thorough, calming, and great with the recommendations. I am so grateful to have figured out how to work this self care into my work day on lunch because it’s the thing that keeps me consistent. Sade is a skilled, warm, and thoughtful Manager at this location too! Always brings care and great support for the experience from start to finish.

The staff and Bettina my esthetician at heyday in tribeca was very professional and welcoming from the moment I arrived. She did a thorough assessment of my dry skin, provided an excellent facial, and shared helpful skincare tips without trying to push products. The service felt personalized and informative, and my skin is looking and feeling much better.

Fakher was great. It was the first time I went to her and she had read up on all my past appointment and knew exactly what worked and didn’t. She did microdermabrasion and it worked so well and was exactly what my skin needed. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and in good hands. I’ll be back, thank you!

I had a very positive experience with Evelina! She was knowledgeable and had a lovely healing touch. The front desk team was so welcoming and warm. My skin looks brighter a few days later and there was zero redness or irritation.

Zen did an incredible job with my microneedling. She listened closely to my concerns about hyperpigmentation and skin texture and tailored the treatment to address them. Throughout the session she explained each step and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. I’m so happy with the results I’ve already booked another session next month.

Have always had a great experience with Heyday but loved my recent microneedling facial. Had a very thorough experience with Berlyn who listened to all my concerns and was as gentle as possible with the procedure. I am already getting results just a few days out!

I was a regular Heyday customer before Covid, and thought I'd revisit, even though the website and business model had clearly been totally overhauled. Sad to say this was the worst facial I've ever received, by far. I was greeted by two very young, not terribly professional counterpeople -- teenagers? -- who seemed to have been instructed to hard-sell. My facialist had garnered positive reviews on yelp, which frankly stuns me. It was the most humdrum, rote, nothing-nothing facial -- the equivalent of a deeply unsatisfying massage where they just do superficial skin-surface strokes sans therapeutic anything. Except it was worse because this woman actually left me with broken capillaries on both sides of my nose, which I'd never had in my entire life. The "gua sha" was an embarrassment. A few shallow presses, then done. How did this person think she could get away with this? Maybe she thought I didn't know what gua sha was? Well, I do, and it wasn't this. In the past it's been deeply relaxing, reducing spot tension, stimulating bloodflow, with noticeable firming/lifting benefits directly after the modality. She convinced me to get LED, which I'd also had before, and let's just say this was a half-assed as the rest of the facial. Be warned: if you apply add-ons to your facial, THEY CARVE INTO YOUR FACIAL TIME. Your actual facial gets shorter with each "add-on." So they're really not add-ons, they're replacements, and they're also rubbish. One positive: they sell good product. BUT, they upcharge. Almost everything they sell in-store can be found for considerably cheaper online.

I would not recommend. I made the mistake of signing up for the monthly membershi. there's no way to easily track your activity or account status online, so I lost over $200 in credit. i paused my membership to try and catch up. the last facial I got was only 37 minutes because the technician didnt realize I was sitting in the lobby. she burned my face with the treatment and the overall cost was $180.

Unfortunately we are again in the season of cold air and indoor heating stripping all of the moisture from literally everything so I really needed this. I've been to other Heyday locations and love the no frills facials that they offer. I love the option to really spice things up with different enhancements or just sticking to a good ol' traditional facial. Appointments can conveniently be made online and they honestly have much more offerings than some of their competitors in the area (I find it impossible to make appointments for the other places). Check-in is a breeze and I've never had to wait past my original appointment time. The esthetician will evaluate your skin at the beginning of each visit and hear out your concerns. They typically target your skin issues and best of all, the products they use smell really nice and is not too overpowering. One of my peeves is leaving a facial smelling like I ran through the perfume section of Macy's. They now offer a no commitment monthly membership that gives you $20 off enhancements, 15% off products, and $75 for additional facials within the month. Definitely recommend treating yourself with a visit to Heyday!

This was a bizarre experience from start to finish. Over the years I've had different kinds of facials, from super high end to low end. I would consider this the lowest end you could get despite the price point. It's like a loud assembly line where the facial is rushed and you're not treated like a human being. The esthetician I saw was rude, rushed, robotic, and seemed annoyed that I was there. She had this attitude before I even opened my mouth, so I know it wasn't anything I did. It's clear that there's a script involved and they ask each esthetician to ask if you'd like them to talk to you, or if you want a "relaxing" facial. I went for the latter because what would I even talk about with someone so annoyed with my presence? She asked if I'd been to Heyday before and I said it was my first time, and she responded with a flat "welcome to Heyday". The facial itself, while gentle enough, was very very fast and not relaxing at all. The chair was uncomfortable (I was basically lying upside down). The aromatic start was the esthetician stuffing the fragrance in front of my face and rushing me to breathe in and out. The mask portions were long and there was basically no massage involved besides maybe a 2 minute back and neck massage. At the end a wet towel was placed on my face for 5 minutes and it made me feel claustrophobic. There's no steam machine to soften the pores for extraction - that's what the wet towel is for. My esthetician asked me if I wanted a lot of extractions, or if I wanted to focus more on masking. It seemed like she wanted to skip the extractions and wanted to argue with me when I said I want extractions done. She left marks on my face anyway so I should have just gone with the masking. The advice for taking care of my skin was not good at all and would make my skin worse. Save your money and go for something with a slightly higher price point. You won't receive a proper, relaxing facial here and will walk out feeling disrespected and not cared for.

FABULOUS spa!!! Booked myself a 50 min facial here- little pricey, but nothing to be surprised by in NY. I was greeted by the manager Jeffrey, who was just SO enthused by his job and by helping clients, he made my day a little brighter. He showed me several of the products that the spa carries (ALL different lines) and I felt like he was truly educating me on each product, without pushing me to buy anything (typically what I hate most about spas). Zen was my esthetician; she was friendly, knowledgeable, and just happy. She is the BEST. I loved all the products she used on me, explaining each one along the way. The skin care left my skin feeling clean, soft, and hydrated- not weighed down by any of the products or sticky. Her facial massage felt amazing- I only wish it could've lasted longer. What I loved most about Zen, was she was really teaching me about my skin. I was telling her about the current products I own/use, and how I was confused if I needed anything else in my routine, and how I should even be correctly using the products. She helped me come up with a daily routine to use my own skin care line at home (not telling me they were AWFUL like a lot of spas will do), and I purchased a few from the salon to add to my routine as well. Really, really happy with this spa, the customer service is great and is what will bring me back again! Not to mention, my face was absolutely glowing afterwards! Zen & Jeffrey get a 10/10!!

AMAZING!!! Cannot recommend Heyday in Tribeca enough--Would rate higher than 5/5 stars if I could! I have had facials from Vivian, Mariel, and one other lovely woman who I cannot remember her name, but the entire team is so knowledgeable, gentle, and professional. Lisa, the Shop Manager, runs a beautiful and clean facility and is so easy to work with. The entire team is so sweet and I can only hope you will try them out to experience Heyday at its best here in Tribeca! Always leave glowing, inside and out!

Had an amazing facial by Brianna C today at the Triebeca location. Her knowledge of the products she is using is truly amazing. She knows exactly what is in the product and the functionality of it. Can't wait to go back and get another facial by Brianna.

I had the worst and most expensive facial of my life here. First of all she charged me an additional 50$ for a service I never said I wanted/gave consent to upgrade to. Secondly half the time I was there she just left a wet towel on my face which went cold while she texted on her phone. I basically paid 200$+ for someone to wash my face and throw on some cream. I regret this appointment so much it makes me mad. *edited Upon leaving I noticed the buckle to my purse is undone and I have moderate reason to believe she was looking through my bag considering I spent half the time there with a wet towel on my face while she did god knows what anything besides working on my skin

If you want to be pampered and have a relaxing experience, I would say Heyday is good. If you need an actual facial with extraction, I would recommend to go to an actual facialist. All products are good , but the extraction portion is only about 5-10 minutes (and this is me coming in requesting a deep extraction for clogged pores). Their reasoning was that the black/white heads were very deep and that we would need another session to do it, but I have been to many facials where most things were extracted. A lot of my blemishes were attempted to be extracted, but not fully - resulting in improper healing and redness and overall kinda making my skin worse. I'd have to go to my regular facial spot to actually get anything out besides small blackheads.

I typically tend to take very good care of my skin, but with all of the traveling that I've done in the past few months (along with all of the nachos, pizza, and other cheesy indulgences that I should be avoiding as someone who is lactose intolerant) I needed some TLC! Thanks to amazing recommendations from my friends and coworkers, as well as a generous gift card from a friend, I decided to try Heyday out. The TriBeCa location is small, but comfortable and very functional. The décor is clean, trendy, and inviting. Checking in with the front desk staff was seamless and timely; after filling out a brief survey and answering some questions about my skin, I was seen by my skin therapist. Kathy was absolutely amazing - she was knowledgeable, accommodating, and funny! She made me feel at ease and addressed all of my skin issues and concerns. I learned a lot about my skin and tips on how to better take care of myself (in addition to what I was already doing). I had a 50 Minute Facial and felt wonderful after my session. The products all smelled amazing, were mostly natural, and I did not experience any discomfort during my session (other than the extractions, but beauty is pain!). Overall, my experience was wonderful and I will definitely return to see Kathy again. I highly recommend making an appointment in advance as they do seem to fill up quickly.

My fiancé was generous and caring so she got me a gift certificate to this place for a holiday last year and after putting it off for a while, I finally got the opportunity to go and really got to enjoy my 30 minute facial. I suffer from dry skin on my face and Christina really helped me and explained the proper care I need for the future. Overall, they are extremely clean, great friendly staff and really educate you throughout the process. They even sent me an email summarizing the session and all of the pointers provided by Christina so it's not generic and different for every customer. Definitely recommend this place if someone is looking to treat themselves and relax.

First visit and LOVED it! If you need robes, slippers, babbling brooks and a four hour spa immersion, this isn't your place. If you're seeking a clean, friendly, get down to business for some serious face TLC this IS your place. Each and every product smelled amaaaaaaazing (not in an overpowering way) and they use some high tech gadgets (high frequency, roller balls, LED, etc.). I stuck with the core facial (no extra enhancements). The skin therapist is as chatty or quiet as you'd like. 50 minutes of primo face love. Perfect amount of time to unwind without burning an entire day at the spa. THIS is what I've been looking for! I also truly appreciate not being upsold during my entire facial (such a buzzkill) and/or product pushed on the way out. First time clients receive $20 off their first visit. Can't wait to go back.

I am a nazi about skincare--I am extremely loyal to the products/brands I use, and I am religiously devoted to my skincare routine, while being skeptical of letting just anyone handle my face. Yes, I am one of those people. So the idea of a quick facial seems very gimmicky to me, but boy...was I wrong. Heyday not only exceeded my expectations, but it BLEW me away. Madeleine was not only extremely knowledgeable and attentive, but she was also ridiculously charismatic. My skin spoke to her, and she listened. Every product she applied to my face was explained thoroughly, and I never felt like my face wasn't in good hands--in fact, even if I did not like the products she used, I would return just for her! In the 50 min session, my skin was restored to a healthy glow--better than some facials I've had before. Madeleine helped me understand what type of post-facial care I needed for my problem areas, and prepared some samples for me that I was interested in. I came in with an expectation of just trying Heyday out, but now I will definitely be returning for a routine facial by Madeleine!

This is a great example of customer service experience during COVID for those in need of a facial. What cost them a star was the upscaling discussion (your skin looks beautiful but you need this additional treatment) from the aesthetician for the entire appointment and at the end. I did tip her because my skin did look and feel great.

I went here for my first facial a few months ago after having a bout of bad acne and I never expected to get addicted to facials. I've now gone twice (once with Robbie and once with Tia) and have had two great experiences. Both ladies were lovely and personable, gave great recommendations for products/skin care regimen, and made my skin look gorgeous and refreshed. I changed my skin care regimen after my first visit (different cleanser, added a serum) and my skin dramatically improved within a couple of weeks. They really know their stuff! I'd highly recommend going here if you're looking for skin care guidance or just need a skin reset.

Aleksandra is amazing ... go to her! Also, Merla is really great, too. Very gentle and focused on moisturizer. I went to Merla on Friday and days later, skin is still glowing! Definitely go to her, too. Ann is the other fav!

I've been coming here for a while and typically the service is excellent and I leave feeling great! This time I had a 30$ off promo code which I used and mid facial the aesthetician asked me what promo I was using as she could see the indicating icon on my appointment, after I told her I feel as though she barely put any effort in. She left me with my face wrapped in the towel pre extractions for so much longer than usual and I could hear she was on her phone. If customers use a promo code I don't think it's fair for the aestheticians to know-- I left the same 20% tip on the full price so I should not have gotten lesser service by any means.... not sure if I'll be coming back :(

I don't typically leave reviews, but must say, I've had such an amazing experience with Heyday thus far, particularly with Zen. I've suffered from ~medium acne since high school and have been to numerous dermatologists and have tried so many medications to no avail. If anything, they made my skin worse. Seemed like the last option was to use Acutane, which I didn't feel like my acne warranted such extremes. Desperate for any other option -- I decided to give facials a try. Zen was immediately warm, sociable, attentive, and knowledgable. I see her once a month (3x so far) and I learn so much about my skin each time I see her. I've definitely seen an improvement, and better yet, I can feel the improvement in my skin. Would recommend Heyday and Zen 10/10!

SUBPAR! I have been getting facials since I was 15 years old and I work in the beauty/skin care industry so I know a good facial from a crappy one and this was one of the most underwhelming facial experience I've ever had. I typically would never go to a place like this but I was given a complimentary 50 minute facial from an event so I figured why not give it a try. This place is clearly a gimmick so I went in with low expectations and that is exactly what I received. The facialist was lovely and sweet but I could tell she was extremely green. The experience wasn't thorough at all. She cleansed my skin and then took a quick look at it under the light. Then she used a physical exfoliator, fine but then didn't remove it all the way before starting extractions. And speaking of extractions, they don't use any steam to open the pores to make the extraction process easier. Instead she just wrapped my face in a warm towel and then left it there until it got cold-thus closing my pores right back. This was absolutely ridiculous and the extraction process took only a couple minutes which is never the case for any facial I've ever had! After inspecting my skin after the "facial" I could tell the extractions weren't done properly because she left holes on my skin and puss was oozing out still! I already know it's not going to heal properly and will cause hyperpigmentation as a result of their "technique". Also she only left the mask on my face for about 3-4 minutes! Honestly people for $95 so somewhere else! If you want an awesome recommendation of my usual facial, send me a private message and I'll share her info. Her pricing is similar and the facial is hands down the best and totally customized. Don't be fooled by this shiny exterior, everything that sparkles is not gold!

Amazing! I've been for facials at the Tribeca location twice now, and had great experiences with each esthetician. Even though they have a large inventory of products on sale in the lobby, they never push any products on you. They'll actually encourage you to leave with a sample before investing in the full-size, which I really appreciate. I have acne prone skin, which is why I find it worth the money to get professional facials. My skin feels totally detoxed and rejuvenated after my facials here. I never walk out looking red or irritated, like I have with other purifying facials in the past. My skin always looks and feels super hydrated and balanced. It's super easy to make an appointment online and personally, I find it nice to not have the nature soundtrack, robes and tip toeing atmosphere of a spa. I used to get medical facials at my dermatologist and have been to a lot of great spas for facials, but Heyday really holds its own. The natural product lines they stock are fantastic too. Not only does everything smell delicious, the ingredients are top notch and more importantly, effective and potent for all skin types, even acne-prone.

I work nearby in the Financial District and had been so busy with work that I hadn't had a chance to get my routine monthly facial at my regular spa. I came across HeyDay online and decided to give it a try during my lunch hour. I was extremely disappointed. I got a 50 minute facial, because that's all my lunch allowed for and it felt like absolutely nothing was done to my face. I spent $90 in a place that simply touches your face very lightly and barely does any extractions. They simply put almost no pressure with their fingers on the spot. The facialist claimed that they have the best technology and that they have a special spot treatment. Three weeks later and my face looks the same. I had to get another facial from my regular dermatologist's office in order to get a proper cleaning. This place is simply a trendy one and not a place to come for an authentic facial. Save your money!

I received the best (and most informative) facial of my life at this salon. Roberta was my aesthetitian and she's simply brilliant at her craft...a calming presence, effective communication, knowledge of complex dermatology issues, the ability to remedy said issues (w/o leaving you a splotchy-ass mess afterward) and so on. Best of all, she gives you skin-saving advice to apply long-term in order to mitigate and prevent further damage (e.g., to never ever use a body scrub to exfoliate your face). Roberta also gave me samples of skin care products (gorgeously packaged and labelled) that are available for sale at HeyDay, but suggested I try them first before buying. This is a refreshing departure from the industry standard of using a client's entire visit to hard sell the its products. On top of all this, HeyDay has reasonable prices (e.g., under $100 for a 50m facial), an online booking/payment system and a soothing interior design (and general atmosphere) - more than enough to cement my devotee status. There's really no room for disappointment in giving this place a try, so I highly recommend doing so.

Leaving this review solely for their customer service as I was not treated here. I had 3 facials booked for Black Friday and of course, took a train going in the wrong direction on the way here. I was going to be about 20 minutes late & left a voicemail - they called me back immediately and were so nice! They were honest about possibly not being able to accommodate us so late, so she asked if the NoMad location would be convenient for our commute, et voila we were rescheduled at NoMad. I know this is minor, but I was so glad the Host Team was so gracious and polite in rescheduling and accommodating us. Thanks so much y'all for the great service!

I very rarely write reviews, but I really felt like this was a huge waste of $$. Booked a 75 min facial and microdermabrasion the other day when I was walking by. On the day of my appointment, I am greeted by the esthetician who walks me into the room. After explaining that I just wanted my face to be a little bit less congested and to spend time on extractions we start. Five minutes in I ask about the microderm and she says that they don't have a machine in this room and she tries to sell me on a LED light. I just feel like they should try to accommodate what I had booked rather than try to substitute it for some worthless addition. Moving on to the facial, it was subpar. I usually get facials at dermatologists offices so maybe my expectations were different. In the end, she put a mask on my face, did less than five minutes of extractions, and instead rolled a VT Micro? And "high frequency" device over my face like four times. It just seems like they were trying to make the facial last longer by doing the same thing over and over. I usually walk out of facials feeling like my skin looks clean, fresh and smooth. I went to the mirror and there was still a film from whatever mask I had on, and blackheads all over my nose and chin which I could extract myself easily. Just felt like a sloppy result. Also, esthetician did not wear gloves which to seems unsanitary

HEAVEN! Heyday has a knack for creating a luxurious spa experience while being totally time efficient and easy on your wallet. I've been to other Heyday locations, but this is one of my faves. The staff is so cool, kind and chill- you immediately feel calm upon entering. They'll offer you a drink and are always prompt with their appointments. I highly recommend snagging an appointment with Cali- she's super sweet, chill, KNOWLEDGEABLE + TALENTED. She will leave you glowing! If you're the type of person who loves extractions, you'll love Cali. Seriously, she left no pore untouched. My kind of gal. She truly cares about her craft and she does an amazing job. You will leave feeling so relaxed, gorgeous and looking forward to your next facial!

Had a great time getting a facial here. Esme performed my facial and she was great. Very friendly and helpful. I left feeling refreshed and rested and with a few product ideas I'll definitely be trying in the future! I also loved the vibe of the place and all the staff members were really friendly.

Today was my third facial treatment at Heyday Tribeca. So so pleased with my results! For context, my first ever facial (50 minute facial) was here with Nausheen and I was extremely pleased with the bedside manner, subtle but fun conversation but mostly the true and honest education about my skin and how best to achieve the results I want to see at home, as well as during my treatment. My second facial I worked with Zen B., I'm not sure if she is still there. She was so informative, gentle and educational and even advised against adding an enhancement - she felt I didn't need it and instead provided me with a free sample of the moisturizer she used, which I loved! Today, I was treated by Amani A. What. A. Doll. Not only was she extremely informative but caring and truly interested in the ways we could maintain the integrity of my skin. She even gave me advice on some of my other skin issues, such as my "chicken skin" on my legs and at home remedies I can use. Great conversation, which is what I prefer through my facial, but also gave me moments of quiet. At the end, I was fully ready to purchase a mask she suggested to me and add on another facial mist she used on me during the treatment - the smell was *chefs kiss!* Amani didn't try to upsell me. Instead, she told me to take the travel size of the one product and make sure I love it before I commit to full-size. I couldn't help missing the mist ;) Overall, I've had really perfect facials at this location. I'm officially hooked on Amani, but I couldn't brag about this place more. So happy!

Can't recommend heyday or Eva S. Enough! I've always had good skin but in recent years have had horrible seasonal breakouts that 3 dermatologists over the course of two years could not figure out the cause or how to fix my skin. Decided to try a facial instead and it was the best decision I ever made! Eva was so friendly and knowledgeable, thoroughly explained everything she was doing and what exactly was going on with my skin. She gave me a whole new skin care routine which has kept my skin clear and healthier than ever! I walked into the facial with a face full of allergic red bumps and woke up the next morning with clear glowing skin!

Heyday has been my life savior in the past several months. I have an acne prone skin and every time I get stressed out or freak out, I've stopped by and saved myself from more stress. Tara is a brilliant aesthetician, focused and truly personable. She will take care of your skin care needs and beyond. She's professional and thorough with her work. She never tries to sell me more than what I need for my skin. I got a 50 minute facial with LED Blue light enhancement. She made sure she wasn't pushing me to get this treatment and that it was my decision. I am very pleased with the result. My facial glow has dramatically improved and I can see my skin clearing up gradually. She made excellent recommendations for skincare products. Her facials are absolutely divine and I feel so relaxed that I didn't wanted it to end so soon.

Zen B is the BEST!!! this was my first facial (ever) and she walked me through the entire thing in the most calming way! She explained things about my skin that I never knew, was so gentle yet I felt like I was getting the full experience. The lotions and products smelled SO good, and the extractions were not as painful as I expected. Highly recommend Zen B for any and all people who go to Heyday! Also the concept is amazing, it's clean, quick, feels very welcoming and not overly intimidating. Would definitely go back!!!

Absolutely love this spa!!! I have been several times and I highly recommend for anyone in need of a fast and thorough facial. I love the staff, they are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The product they carry is amazing and I've seen a difference in my skin since going! They are excellent at what they do and I hope they continue to open more shops! Spread the word. God Awful. The girl (niyel) gasped and said my skin was so dry, proceeded to not talk to all and put stuff on my skin for an hour. didnt explain what she was doing or what any of the products were, so i have no idea what the fuck was done. then its over, and she just goes "yeah since your skin was so dry there wasnt really anything i could do or extract". okay soooo why did i pay you? you couldve maybe done a moisturizing facial? maybe offer up literally ANY advice??? she didnt even try to upsell me on any other treatments!! what a fucking rip off

I made an appointment here for my pre-wedding facial - only having had one facial before in my life, so I was a little apprehensive. I was paired with Marjorie and I would go back to her every week if I could! She is incredibly knowledgeable, skillful and personable. I was so relieved and comfortable in her hands - she's a true pro!

Love it! This was my first time at Heyday. The location itself is very clean and the front desk girls are very pleasant. Before we decided on the type of facial she was going to give me, Callie got to know my skin by asking me all about it which made me feel comfortable to go forward with a facial + microdermabrasion. The products they use are absolutely divine, and she gave me a sample on my way out. I came out glowing and refreshed and look forward to booking one more before my wedding! I recommend Callie :-)

I came in for a facial in order to prepare for an upcoming event. I knew I was in for a disappointment when I wasn't given a robe to change into and there were no official doors on the rooms where the facials take place. Fully clothed, I lied down and proceeded to receive a 50 minute facial MASSAGE. Not really a facial. They spend a significant amount of time massaging your face. Meanwhile, high tech tools that you might expect in a facial like at least an official steamer are not available here. Instead, they used hot towels that stayed hot for about 10 seconds. The facialist was perfectly nice and probably did a great job according to whatever the business model of Heyday is. If you are a teenager or maybe in college, this facial might be just enough. But if you are looking for a real facial like I was, and are prepared to pay for what an actual facial should cost, I would not recommend Heyday. I'd have rather spent more money and left feeling like my time was spent well. I didn't need to spend 50 minutes having my face massaged.

Wow! I have been back three times since my original visit and I can say that I love Heyday! Each time I leave I feel so fresh and glowing. Roxanne and Cali have been amazing. Never feel pressured to purchase the recommended products, even though I have purchased one item. I did purchase cherry seed mask and it is fantastic for a weekly exfoliating. So happy I was encouraged to give Heyday a second chance because now I'm a forever client!!

Cali has helped me cure my skin internally and also with the right routine. She's extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand my own skin. my skin is the best it's ever been because of her!

This place is a shadow of its former self. I used to be a member and LOVED it but gave up my membership because it felt like the facialists kept getting my worse (or lazier). I Just went back for the first time in over a year and left super disappointed and remembered why I quit in the first place. Here's a spoiler alert of what to expect at your Heyday appointment: they will pitch you on every enhancement they have, regardless of whether it not it is going to help with the skin concerns you have. Then the facialist will hardly massage your face, do an overpriced peel on you, leave the room for 10 minutes, come back, put a moisturizing mask on you, leave the room for 10 minutes, come back wipe it off and put some moisturizer on you. Then you're slapped with a bill of $220. I'm sorry but this just isn't the value proposition or the experience it once was. To pay that amount and have your facialist doing nothing for 40% of the facial (20 min out of 50), and try to oversell you on enhancements You're perfectly capable of doing to yourself at home (gua sha, peel, mask) is just ridiculous. Pay the extra money to go to Tribeca Medspa or virtually anywhere else. This is not it. BYE.

Believe it or not, I somehow made it through 27 years without a facial. Blame it on my mother being a relatively low-key maintenance and I followed her suit. I had my first facial here last night and I had a wonderful experience with Michelle. She was very knowledgable and informed me what she was doing every step of the way. I originally booked the basic 30 min facial but after discussing my needs, we added on a microdermabrasion as well. Michelle also gave me samples of products she used and lightly explained membership options on my way out. No hard push on selling anything or booking next appointments. I'm going to give my skin a few days before deciding my next move, but so far so good! When all is said and done, it is a little on the pricey side should you do everything you need for for skin. Not sure if I could swing once a month, definitely a great option for some future me-time.

I had an amazing facial today with Simon, he really educated me about my skin and how to take care of it properly, he performed many extractions on me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. My skin already looks so much better and I will definitely be returning ! -Lauren :)

I have frequented this salon for customized facials. Unfortunately the pitch about their beauty products whilst I was having the facial , does not match up with the products the esthetician recommended for sale. I think the model of business is flawed; It certainly does not include steaming and extraction.The entire time the treatment focuses of applying cleanses and creams and wiping off layers. On top of this is the hidden cost of pitching a peel which is an added cost and this is made known while the treatment is ongoing.The outcome is dehydrating which is so disappointing.The bottom line of this business is focused on pushing products and the facial lacks the deep cleanse a facial is suppose to deliver.

I would like to recommend Heyday for those who are looking to improve your skin. Roberta is very positive and skilled. The moment she gave me a facial massage, I felt like I found home. I am already plotting my next mental health day so I can get back there sooner rather than later.I loved Roberta's positive attitude throughout, and I especially enjoyed her magical soft hands hand massage. It was a pleasant addition to the facial. I really appreciated how deeply and thoroughly Roberta went with extractions. Roberta examined every inch of my face and I was really impressed by how much she caught. She was thorough, gentle, and always checking in to see how you are doing. I would definitely come back to see Roberta.

Heydey is like getting a mediocre facial at a Chinese massage place. Not that there is anything wrong with a Chinese massage but I often use my facial time as a time to relax and expect a somewhat serene and calm atmosphere. Heydey is a bunch of cubicals crammed into the space with only a curtain as a barrier. It's clear they are just shuffling people in/out and on their way as quickly as possible. That's fine when you're paying $50 for a pretty solid massage. Less so when you are paying $100 for someone to rub some oil on your face. I'll preface this by stating my hormones were having a party and I woke up a few days prior with tons of blemishes. I scheduled an appointment as soon as I could sneak out of work since I needed some serious extraction help before I attempted it myself. I'll start with the pros: - The front desk staff was nice enough (there are a lot of comments about them being rude) - My appointment started on time and the intake form asked questions that made it seem like they knew what they were doing - My esthetician, Dwayne, was gentle and knew how to apply products to my face in a soothing way. The cons: - They don't use a steamer to open the pores and prep for extraction. Only hot towels. Their jam-packed cubical style doesn't allow for sinks/water in the stations. - They didn't actually do anything in the facial other than (soothingly) rub some product on my face and charge me $100 for it. Details: Unfortunately, after my facial, which seemed fine, I went to use the bathroom, and upon inspecting my face in the mirror, saw several blemishes with white heads that were not extracted. I mentioned it at the front desk when I was paying and they called Dwayne over. This is the part that blows my mind. I pointed out the blemishes with obvious white tips and Dwayne proceeded to tell me that he extracted one of them (obviously not well since it was still there) and that the other didn't have a white tip during my facial. Mind you - all of 4 minutes had passed since my facial. It was impossible to have a rational discussion with him about it so I gave up. The manager on duty was standing near by and heard the whole conversation. She introduced herself and told me they had a policy to not break skin. **If you are an esthetician or manager at a facility whose sole service is providing facials, you should know the difference between a pimple that can be drained and breaking skin!!** I pointed out that 2/3 pimples had white heads and she agreed and apologized for the confusion. It was obvious she was hoping an apology would do but I clarified that this is not confusion, this is paying an additional $35 for extraction and not having anything extracted. Only then did she agree to charge me for the 30 min facial that does not include extractions. While I appreciate the gesture, I came in specifically for extractions and would have preferred to pay the $100 for a someone to do the job properly. It was a waste of time and money. On top of that, I have no idea why they didn't just offer to take me back immediately and spend the extra 6 minutes to do the extractions then and there. I would have been perfectly content with that and honestly, it is what I expected when I brought it up in the first place. I would post a picture so you can see they obviously needed to be extracted but I can't figure out how. tl;dr - If you're looking for a real facial, fork up the additional $20 and go to a place that knows what they're doing.

I had been coming to this shop regularly for facials since last summer, but after a very bad experience recently I will not be returning. Some of the estheticians are amazing (Melani, Hilary) and most are passable. Week before last my regular esthetician was out town so I was paired with Danielle, and it was a horrible experience. I asked her to review my records and use only the products that had been used by my regular person, which includes using only oils and no creams, because I have very dry skin. Danielle decided to use a cream on my face anyway, and it immediately gave me an uncomfortable, stinging feeling. I asked her to take the cream off of my skin because it hurt, and instead she piled a lot of oil on top. I kept asking her to take it off because it hurt and she said not to worry it's fine. After several minutes I had to grab a towel out of her hand, sit up and wipe it off myself. From there it only got worse. Danielle then proceeded to do extractions without warming the skin first. She put cold and room temperature towels on my face, and when I asked her to use a hot towel to prepare the skin, she told me that actually skin never needs to be warmed up before extractions. I told her that I didn't think that was correct, and could she please use a hot towel. She refused. The extractions were so painful, and left red marks on my skin. During the extractions she had her finger up my nose, and when I asked her to take it out she said that sometimes you just have to put your finger up a clients nose to be able to do extractions. When she worked on my chin, she tried to put a finger in my mouth. Obviously this is really disgusting and unnecessary. She also tried to do an extraction on the super delicate skin under my eye, which resulted in a red spot that persisted for several days, which I later found out from my dermatologist was a broken blood vessel. I left with dryer, duller skin than I had come in with, and had to follow up with my dermatologist. Usually extractions are really fast and easy for me because my skin is dry and not prone to any kind of break outs. The whole experience was awful, working with management to try and get it resolved was even worse. They begged me to come back in that evening to try and fix the issue. This time I was paired with Alex who is the manager of this location. Alex had an attitude the entire time I was there, and at no time actually seemed to care about what had happened. She let me know she was doing me a huge favor by giving me another facial that evening. In my opinion, trying to mitigate the damage her poorly trained employee did to my face was the least she could do, not a favor. Ultimately I had to speak to three different managers and make about six or seven requests for the service to be refunded before someone actually responded and put the refund through. There are too many great spas in NYC to get facials to bother with one where some of the estheticians are really poorly trained and the management is rude.

I've been coming here for 7 months and it's my go-to for all skincare and skin-talk! All my estheticians have been knowledgable and helped me find my simple 4-step regimen. My skin has never been so naturally clear in 5 years!!
