Notting Hill Bakery is a really beautiful spot, with a lovely display of pastries and baked goods. The staff were super friendly too, which made for a welcoming experience.
Unfortunately, I can only give 4 stars. We picked up a loaf and a focaccia, and both were quite disappointing. The focaccia didn’t seem like it was made with a traditional sourdough starter—it tasted more like instant-rising dough, which made it bland and lacking depth.
It’s a nice place to stop by, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it if you’re after really great bread. There are better bakeries in the area.
