1803 was southern comfort, LGBTQ pride, excellent service, and great cuisine rolled up in one. We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and taken to our tables immediately. The ambiance is a rustic, welcoming almost homely vibe. None of the unnecessary flair that you find at other restaurants looking to trend. We were greeted by a handsome young man named Calvin who was very mannerly and attentive. He took our orders and answered questions. The food was brought out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious and there had not a single empty plate at the table when we finished. The was a jazz band playing light music that was very soothing as it was not loud music-just mellow and smooth. Even staff who weren’t waiting on us conversed with us casually- not pretentious or over the top. The mood was so light the we didn’t want to get up but staying longer without ordering more would have been rude. If I am around the area I would definitely go back and I would say try 1903 and bring a friend or two. Only downside is that the menu is not extensive, but I guess that’s what makes them master the menu options to customers delight.

My friend and I had a reservation at 1803 NYC at 5:30 on a Monday evening. I read some reviews about the restaurant being very loud, but if you go around this time, it is not that crowded. Interior-wise, there is a small discrepancy between the upscale vibe their decor gives and the appearance of the floors, walls, and bathrooms. We split charbroiled oysters ($23), my friend got the jambalaya ($29), and I got the Louisiana pulled pork sandwich ($20). The oysters had a wonderful sauce that tasted like a zesty tomato base. My friend enjoyed the jambalaya and noted it had great flavor. The pork in the sandwich was tender and cooked well. However, I do like some type of smoke or bbq flavor in my pulled pork, and this fell flat in that regard. The fries were cooked perfectly, so they had a nice crisp. Service was good! We had multiple check backs and quick service. Overall, I felt like the restaurant had great flavors at appropriate dinner prices. I would recommend checking it out if you're in the area, though it is not a restaurant I would go out of my way to return to.

Very tasty food. I went to their jazz brunch. The food was great and I liked the cocktail pitchers. Music was okay but an added bonus. It was not Dixieland jazz or anything you'd hear in New Orleans. It wasn't too loud for chatting which was nice

We came to 1803 NYC to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and had such a fantastic time! This was our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful—super friendly, attentive, and provided top-notch customer service. The rest of the staff was just as impressive—everyone was helpful and on point. The food was delicious! We especially loved the ribs and the charbroiled oysters—they were packed with flavor. The mac and cheese was a standout for me: rich, creamy, and so satisfying. The gumbo and brussels sprouts were just okay, but everything else more than made up for it. A really thoughtful touch was when they surprised my mom with beignets for her birthday—they were warm, sweet, and really tasty. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with great vibes, great food, and great service. We’ll definitely be back.

Went there for lunch with my girlfriend and ordered two simple Caesar salads. They were around $17 each, but really just lettuce, some cheese, and croutons. If you wanted to add shrimp or chicken, it was another $14–15 which would bring the salad to nearly $30, which felt way too much for what it was. The fries were actually pretty good (about $9 for a basket). In total, we spent about $60–65 for a basic lunch, which seemed steep for what we got. Service was fine, nothing memorable. The interior was quiet, beautiful view, nicely designed, and very clean that was probably the best part. But based on the price and food quality, I’m not sure I’d go back.

I had an absolute great time at 1803! I’ve been twice, once for a date night and the other for a girls night and both times I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The drinks were amazing, my favorite was the sidecar and the frozen grenade. I was lucky to get the happy hour special so it was $2 off all drinks! The food was delicious and very well flavored. I had the xo noodles and the charbroiled oysters were to die for!! I Will definitely be back again soon :)

The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Taste and full of flavor. They have a special sauce that is drizzled over the food and it tastes amazing. My collared greens were pretty good. The hostess was so inviting. Made you fell like you belong to the restaurant. Very nice experience.

Loved this place! The staff is super friendly and you can tell they really work together to keep things running smoothly. The food was fantastic! We had the charbroiled oysters (so good!) and the signature gumbo, but the real star for me was the chicken and waffles—absolutely amazing! I’m so glad I went for them. We also ordered a pitcher of the French 75 cocktail, and it was perfect for the table. The vibe was great, with good music and an overall fun, welcoming atmosphere. I wore an outfit after visiting the Met and didn’t feel out of place. Central, pretty, fun, and worth it. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Made reservations for Sat brunch and the place was relatively empty around 1:30 pm on a sunny day. Live music, welcoming host, and cozy interiors is how the interiors felt. We really went here to try their beignets - but their menu rotates every 2 weeks and their website wasn't updated with their new menu. That however did not stop us from trying other things which included their Signature Gumbo ($13 - cup). A little too seafood forward in terms of the aroma of that dish, however the cajun rice was packed with flavor. Vegan Jambalaya ($29) is what we shared as our entree, and while tasty, it felt a little too dry. They 1803 red and green hot sauces though were a flavor explosion - a must try for spice lovers! They made the waffles and chicken into a waffles and berry compote for our little one, so thanks to Tsubi for that! Tsubi and Eddie were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay here and we will certainly recommend as well as visit again!

Yelp
This restaurant has a nice cool vibe to it. It is a cajun style restaurant which I don't particularly like that style of food but I came to see my friends. The drinks we had were good some of us had mocktails and some had actual drinks that we all enjoyed. I had a grilled chicken sandwich for dinner which was ok nothing special. Came with pepper pickles, arugula and cheese and pesto. The pesto i didn't realize or I would have asked for it with no pesto. And I asked for no peppers but they were on there. I was too hungry to send it back and all though. Our waitress was nice and took my allergies seriously. I would recommend this place to others though. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals though.

Yelp
Four of us tried their Saturday Jazz Brunch and we were warmly welcomed by Eddy, the new manager. He couldn't be more accommodating as was Maria, our lovely server. I don't expect such gracious hospitality in the big city but they set a new standard for cheerfulness! The space was bright, chic with a decidedly French mood. The recorded Jazz music was sophisticated with great acoustics but shortly a three piece lively combo came on and serenaded us. I would give the service and ambiance a 10. The menu was varied, appealing and Cajun. I loved my Langoustine cake Benedict with hash browns and a green salad which had all my favorite things. The American Breakfast came with a spicy chorizo sausage which became more exotic than routine. Very delicious! The Croque Madam was excellent with generous portions. We also devoured the spinach/artichoke dip with freshly made tortilla chips. Turned out to be purée which was very flavorful. 1803 was a dreamy place to while away a Saturday afternoon. We will be back!

Yelp
Found my new favorite happy hour spot! Came here on a Friday after work. What's not to love? Live music, happy hour specials, the place is stunning. Food and drinks were delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Yelp
Popped in for lunch while on jury duty. Sat at the bar and was greeted with a very nonchalant attitude. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was lackluster at best. The meat was under seasoned and the hot grease poured out as I took my first bite. The fries were clearly old and on the soggy side. Overall the place felt tired to me and needed a good cleaning.

Yelp
We needed a brunch place for a party of 10 (including two toddlers), which is almost impossible to find in NYC. Luckily I was able to find 1803 NYC on my search. It's easily accessible close to the Chambers St stop and spacious with a fun decor and music. The service was nice. The menu was extensive with a lot of staple items as well as interesting dishes with a Cajun flare. I enjoyed my crabs benedict. My husband liked his polenta dish. Our friends liked their dishes as well which ranged from the pancakes to the fried chicken sandwich to the grilled chicken sandwich. It was a first that every one ordered something different. We didn't feel rushed and they even took photos for the group twice! I would definitely keep this place in mind for big group outings!
google avatar

Yelp
Came for brunch with a larger group. They were able to accommodate us at one table after some back and forth. Food was good, I ordered the crawfish Benedict and Jean Lafitte. There was a live band that kept the place lively. Would go back again

Yelp
Decided to come here for dinner and had a pleasant experience. My friend and I ordered the braised short rib ragu and the mac n cheese. Both were pretty good. Service was alright but it was very busy. The place itself is nice and clean. Would come back.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! Service is more than amazing! The people are attentive and friendly. The oysters are to die for! And not to mention their music and ambiance. You can come with friends or on a date and can still have a conversation! Leo the manager walks around and ensures everyone is happy with the food and drinks and is extremely nice.

Yelp
Amazing service, food and drinks. Came here for an even last week Thursday and when I arrived I decided to get a drink at the bar upstairs. While upstairs, Eddie took the time to ask if we needed anything and to ensure we were ok. We got our drinks and went downstairs and Eric gave us AMAZING service as well. Because of the great experience we came back today for happy hour and were NOT disappointed. Leo's service was also AMAZING! We say at the bar and received great service but Leo also ensured we were happy. This place does not disappoint and I will definitely be back and making this my new happy hour location with my work friends.

Yelp
This spot is awesome. Their service personnel were properly mindful. This establishment offers a good experience. These foods create distinct memory markers. The restaurant earns more than top marks.

Yelp
1803 NYC had some hit or miss drinks (albeit the popular Hurricane was a miss in my books) but the food was pretty good. I would've leaned closer to 3.5 stars but the live entertainment made me round up to 4. Starting with the drinks, the Hurricane is good if you like sweet drinks, but it was way too sweet for me and I also couldn't taste any alcohol. The Jean Lafitte, however, was super tasty and strong without being cloyingly sweet. As for the food, we had the jambalaya and XO noodles.the jambalaya was good but honestly I've had better. The XO noodles, however, or absolutely amazing. A generous amount of shrimp and crawfish were given and the sauce was very tasty. All in all, 1803 NYC does have some reliable good food here- depending on what you're ordering.

Yelp
The meal hit every mark while service exceeded expectations. 1803 Nyc produces proper meals. Each bite delivers unexpected pleasure. Basically, their customer attention is outstanding. This place lives up to high expectations!

Yelp
I went for Valentine's Day with six other friends. We sat in the basement level and it was not crowded. Half my friends are veg and they had plenty of options. The cocktails were very delicious and innovative. My friend had a drink with a wine infused ice cube and everyone really loved their drinks as well as their food. I had the jambalaya and fried chicken. I was a bigger fan of the fried chicken but have never been a big jambalaya fan but my friend liked it. Everything was very pricey however the main entrees were pretty large portions. The appetizers were good - got deviled eggs and escargot - but pricey and not a large portion. Cocktails are $16-18 and mains were about $25-35. Great place for a large party. Made reservations easily for 7 people and we could've made space for 2 more people at our table. Food and drinks are good but quite overpriced.

Yelp
We picked this place at random because there was a subway outage and we needed somewhere to wait for the trains to resume. Turned out to be a great time! Very fun New Orleans-inspired decor, very friendly staff, we sat at the bar (thank you for having a high quality NA beer! and also a good selection of regular beer on tap for my husband). We also ordered the delicious beignets. There is a cool restaurant downstairs with Cajun food and it looks like they have live music regularly.

Yelp
I came back here again and just love how consistent the food is always delicious and very filling. Tried some new things like the Nicoise salad and the crawfish Benedict super yummy. Service was on point ! The Live band set a nice tone for a Saturday brunch. Thank you! *the bathroom still needs an upgrade. Had trouble flushing toilet .. it wouldn't work

Yelp
A perfect lunch on a chilly afternoon! I started with their signature cocktail, Flight 1803 (gin, Luxardo liqueur, lime), which was very good! We both had a bowl of their delicious gumbo with oysters, crab, shrimp, and andouille sausage. Service was wonderful too!

Yelp
I came here for brunch one day with my Fiancée and her dad and it was awesome. I've already taken my mom here for dinner with the live music so I wanted to try the brunch this time. The service was quick and kind! We ordered the charbroiled oysters, crawfish cake Benedict, croque madame, the gumbo and the bread pudding. I have to say... those were some of the best oysters I had in my life. I would come back for that alone. The Gumbo was also delicious and had a good balance of flavors. The bread pudding honestly blew me away as it wasn't too sweet and each bite left you wanting more. Overall, amazing brunch experience and I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Sha M.

Yelp
Loved the food! Everything was packed with flavor and hit just right. The bread pudding, though? A game-changer. I usually skip bread pudding, but theirs was incredible; rich, soft, and indulgent without being too much. Add in the great service and the perfect ambience, and it made for a standout dining experience. Can't wait to go back. Live, love and laugh. - SHA

Yelp
I was surprised this place is not as busy as I thought. The food was delicious! I think there menus are seasonal. I had a scallop and rice dish another time I went which was fantastic! I am actually looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Came here for an intimate farewell dinner and left with happy bellies. We ordered several dishes to share including the charbroiled oysters, plum salad, jambalaya, xo noodles with shrimp. Every dish was so tasty and flavorful. I'm already planning another trip back with my boyfriend as he loves Cajun/Creole food. We also had a few glasses of wine and tried their cocktails. There was live music playing in the upstairs loft that added to the fun yet casual vibe of the place.
google avatar

Yelp
Yes yes yes yes yes. I met my brother here for lunch in the city and was not disappointed by the atmosphere, service, or food. The oysters were delicious and very flavorful. This was actually my first time trying oysters and I would only ever eat them this way again. The poboy was delicious and very filling that I had to take it to go with me. The flavor of the remoulade and spice was so good and addictive I had to get more of that sauce. This place is a must visit if you're in the city!
google avatar

Mel J.

Yelp
Great atmosphere at the bar where they have live music on a Friday night. The cocktail menu is small but solid. The food was tasty - we ordered a few plates to share including the mussels in curry sauce, fried green tomatoes, crusted catfish and shrimp wrap as appetizers, and jambalaya, gumbo, ribs as entrees. Everything was full of flavor. However, despite the music and cocktails, the service could be improved - we had multiple servers on our table and felt as though we were being rushed though. Our entrees arrived at the table before we were even half finished with the appetizers, and we had no room on the table so we had to hurriedly move things on to plates. We were also asked by servers if we were done with our food (even when we were clearly still eating/ as my friend was spooning food into her mouth). When we finally finished, we had to ask for the check multiple times before we got any help. Expect a bit more from a restaurant in the Tribeca area, maybe they had an off night.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at 1803 NYC--a spot that truly brings the vibrant energy and flavors of New Orleans right into the heart of Tribeca. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the tone: lively, warm, and inviting. The food was outstanding. I had their chili Brussels sprouts along with the jambalaya, and both were absolutely amazing. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy with just the right kick of heat--bold, savory, and addictive. The jambalaya was rich, flavorful, and comforting, with every bite delivering layers of spice and depth. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in staying true to the essence of Creole and Cajun cuisine while also adding its own flair. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of authentic flavor. What really stood out was how well each dish complemented the cocktails--they've got a well-curated drink menu with classics and house specialties that pair seamlessly with the food. It all felt thoughtfully crafted, from start to finish. The service was just as impressive. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff who made sure everything was just right without ever being overbearing. They were happy to offer recommendations and made us feel at home throughout the entire meal. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a lively night out with friends, celebrate something special, or just get a taste of New Orleans in NYC, 1803 delivers on every level. I'll definitely be coming back--and next time, I'm bringing more people with me so I can sample even more of the menu.

Yelp
Came here with coworkers after a staff outing for a quick bite, we work in the area and the chargrilled oysters were recommended. It's a cute little vibe inside, I personally loved the decor. Everyone else at the table ordered food off of the happy hour menu, I would have done the same if I was in the mood for a sandwich but I wasn't so I got the octopus. We also got the seafood basket for the table. The octopus was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, I'd get it again. There were no complaints about the burger or chicken sandwich so they must've been good. And the seafood basket was realllllyyyyy tasty. Everything was either tempura fried or beer battered, which scared me at first but I was pleasantly surprised. Even the veggies they threw in there were full of flavor I'll definitely be back to try the oysters! And to take pictures!

Yelp
Booked a birthday brunch for a table of about 8 people and staff was so accommodating for us all. Our waiter was pleasant and did a great job checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and everyone seemed really happy with what they ordered. We were sat upstairs, so it was nice having a semi-private experience while the rest of the restaurant was bustling below. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
1803 NYC was a nice restaurant. I expected more as far as ambience and decor because social media definitely has its way of making things seem very grand. Nonetheless the service was very good and so was the food. For Appetizers the table had the brussels sprouts and they were pretty good. It was the perfect amount of seasoning and crunchiness. I was satisfied because soggy Brussels are not it lol. I had a the sweet and spicy chicken and it came with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were very bland and had no seasoning or taste, but I guess with the mashed potatoes and the sauce from the sweet and spicy chicken, It helped the green beans taste good. I didn't partake in any alcoholic drinks just was it in the mood, but I had a mock tail called the lavender lemonade and it was very good and really refreshing. The location is Lower Manhattan and parking can be very hard depending on what time you go. if you go after 6 PM you can definitely find street parking for free. Would love to revisit brunch.

Yelp
Wow , what a great place to stop in on a cold February night with a friend. This is a charming New Orleans inspired restaurant on Reade Street in Tribeca. Layout is a bit weird but it was warm inside and staff are nice .We got 2 cocktails each. The Flight 1803 gin drink with cherry flavor was my favorite and a perfect Winter drink . The Jean Lafitte is gin with dragon fruit and was good too . The 'Oh The Places You'll Go ' drink is a complex but delicious bourbon drink that's perfect for Winter too. The Mississippi Delta I didn't get as big a flavor from but this is a serious cocktail place that's popular with locals for Happy Hour with $2 off drinks. Get the Prawns appetizer! This was so delicious and the sauce was great for dipping bread . Caesar Salad was ok but next time I'd get the Escargot or Grilled Oysters . For mains I got a Shrimp Po Boy with fries. The sandwich is definitely tasty and filling and they give you hot sauce to put on it if you like. The fries weren't very crisp though. My friend had Jambalaya and thought that was really good , we wanted to try New Orleans food . Dessert was the Bread Pudding served warm . Wow ! So delicious, definitely get that . I'd love to come back here again. It's a couple blocks from City Hall .

Yelp
If you've never been to New Orleans and experience authentic Cajun cuisine this is the place to get your taste buds going. I walked into this restaurant just as my work day had ended and it was pretty quiet, it's hard to miss the white wash chairs and high table tops, floral wall paper which reminds me of the Rococo and Victorian era and screams New Orleans. I sat at the bar and ask the necessary questions to determined what I was going to order, the staff was well informed about the menu. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, which cake with a tomato sauce and feta cheese (just delicious) the right amount of crunch and soft. I followed that up with the gumbo which came with rice and for dessert I had the beignets, it was sweet, soft powdered delight and came with a side of chocolate sauce (there was no need for the sauce) I will be visiting again 12/10

Yelp
We went to 1803 Nyc strictly because we saw they had Happy Hour pricing. When we received our bill we noticed we were charged full price for nachos and well drinks. We had to bring this matter to the attention of the manager to finally get resolved. I feel we were taken advantage of because we are young.

Pimp D.

Yelp
Came for a quick brunch. Started with grilled oysters, which were excellent. However the Chorizo Purgatory and Jambalaya were very meh. Had a Cuban styled band playing during brunch service, which was fun. More like 3.5 stars, but may have to try it again.

Yelp
Ambiance was great, place had live music and dim lighting perfect for a date night. The restaurant was a little cold so bring a sweater. The food was tasty, nice portions, drinks had a nice strength to them. The price points were decent. Service was good very attentive staff. I went for dinner this time but will definitely go back for happy hour.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday night. It was really packed. This place is very intimate and has a really nice vibe to it. The space is pretty tight. The service is good. The food was OK. It was not fabulous as I would've expected given the prices. This place is located down in the financial district and seems like a place that folks from Wall Street would be going to. It's worth at least a one time visit.

Yelp
This place is absolutely stunning! You walk in and the atmosphere is beautiful, my bartender was so nice and maybe a perfect French 75. They have good ambient music and midday the lighting is absolutely stunning. They also have outdoor seating. I ordered the jambalaya without sausage, my server let me know that they can substitute all meats within the dish which was perfect because I don't eat red meat. I'm actually thinking about taking my friend again today lol bon appétit

Yelp
A cute spot in tribeca for live music and New Orleans specialties! It's the perfect spot to grab drinks and have a girl's night with a relaxing atmosphere and tasty sauces on every table

Yelp
Since I'm no longer a New Yorker I asked a local friend for a good brunch recommendation and I must admit I wasn't quite sold on 1803 NYC but the location worked for what we needed that day so I went with it. Let me tell you, I unlocked a new level of trust in food with my friend this day! We had a great experience. The drinks were gorgeous and delicious, food was impeccable, flavors on point and service was great especially for a city like NY when it can be so bad. The ambiance was super chill even with the live band playing from the mezzanine. Their website has photos of every dish and cocktail and the pictures tell no lies. I would definitely return and recommend.

Yelp
Nice place to hold celebrations or to have a fun brunch with friends, they offer live music during the weekends and a nice variety of dishes all well made. We came to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating with all of our requests. The band plays at the second floor balcony but I wouldn't recommend sitting here, first floor decor light and ambiance enhance the experience 100%. My only complain was the restroom which was really filthy, other than that good food, drinks, service and ambiance.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this restaurant after going to a haunted house. We didn't have a reservation but were able to sit at the bar right away. It's a cute restaurant and noticed there is upstairs seating as well but the counter is wide so it's enough space to eat at the bar if you don't have a reservation. Surprised it wasn't that busy on a Sat night so it was a bit odd that it took quite some time for the bartender to come and take our drink and food order. She was more attentive at cleaning the bar and cashing out their tips than wanting to take orders. Our favorites were the signature gumbo and ribs which we shared as apps. It was so good! The meat fell off the bone and the two hot sauces they give you goes so well with it. The gumbo along with the rice was so rich and tasty. Since we enjoyed the apps so much, the entrees were a bit underwhelming. The beignets were really good and def recommend to end the meal.
google avatar

Susie Q.

Yelp
I ordered the vegan Jambalaya. It was a large pile of rice with a few sautéed vegetables. Very sparse and really bland. I guess if I wanted any kind of flavor I was supposed to add the hot sauce that was put on the table. The server was very nice and replaced it with the Niçoise Salad. The tuna was tough as can be and there was SO much dressing that I couldn't eat it. Not my worst restaurant experience ever , but I would NEVER go back. I can't understand how they are in business. the food was dreadful.

Melissa F.

Yelp
Eddie the manager was very welcoming and the staff was super attentive. Love the space, music, food and drinks! This is my go-to after work and suggest it for anyone near by!

Yelp
Food, decor, and ambiance were absolutely PERFECT! Service: Our server was attentive, quick, friendly, and even remembered my drink order and my name (that's always a sweet treat). Food was delectable, robust in flavor, texture, and freshness. A1! Decor: sexy and romantic. Perfect for dates or dinner with a good friend. Not too loud so you can actually have a conversation without raising your voice. Yes, I will return soon!

Yelp
I came to 1803 for a Meetup event after work. The outdoor seating is spacious and long, with a covered terrace with artwork and additional seating near the entrance. Inside I was greeted by the hostess who asked if I wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs. They entitled it was like a speakeasy, so of course I said yes. It's a dimly lit area except for the bar, which was fully stocked and presented beautifully. It has an antique feel downstairs, with the various mirrors and clocks. Even the furniture gives way to a classy lounge feel. They have happy hour until 7, which is $2 off all drinks and there is a happy hour food menu. I ordered The BC French 75, and what intrigued me were the ingredients: Dorothy Parker Rose Petal Infused Gin, Boulard Calvados, Cognac, Grenadine, Absinthe, lemon garnish, Faire La Fete Crémant Brut, lemon Juice & lemon garnish. I had to ask the bartender and waitress what some things were, but the drink was spectacular. Each sip made you realize that you were drinking something unique and well-made. It wasn't too sweet tasting, nor bitter. For dinner, I ordered cajun rice and buttermilk fried oysters. The Creole spices were prevalent and thoroughly enjoyable. The fried oysters paired nicely with the aioli sauce. I look forward to trying more of the menu when I finish my vegetarian summer.

Yelp
Loved this New Orleans themed bar. It is beautifully decorated like your in the French Quarter for Mardi Gras. It has a balcony with live jazz too! It really brought me back to my NOLA trip. They had a happy hour deal of $9 house wine and $2 off cocktails. I tried: - La Niña mocktail - House white wine The mocktail was bursting with flavor and tropical sweetness, so I loved it. The wine leaned dry, so not up my alley. The service was pleasant too.

Yelp
Came the first time and liked it but that was a year ago. Wanted to come back and try it again but everything was different. The food, the ambiance, the music and the service. I was very excited about their biscuits which I had before and made me want to come back. However, they decided to put cold toast as replacement instead of letting us know they didn't have biscuits and give another option to choose from... when we asked the waitress about it, she never came back to follow up. Food was overall really just ok and honestly not worth the price even in NYC

Yelp
This is such a cute place with both indoor and outdoor dining. I was here celebrating with a group of colleagues and the food was amazing. They have an extensive happy hour menu and impressive cocktail list. I took away one star because the service was friendly but a little slow in terms of ensuring we had refreshments and refills. we also tried the escargot and the grilled oysters both of which were good but not the best I've had. we also tried the spinach artichoke dip that had a little kick to it, but before we could finish the waiter removed the chips leaving us just the dip. I loved loved the bouillabaisse with all the clams, mussels, shrimp and pieces of fish. If I weren't with colleagues I would have drank all the broth and licked the cast iron pan. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I ironically booked a reservation here to take my guests that were in town & realized it was in my Yelp collection but more importantly that I accidentally came here with the gals late one night after my show right before they closed so super happy to mark it off my list! Soooo cute outside & in. We were seated immediately. We were surprised by live gumbo jazz & then the dj who transitioned in was great. I decided to order the gumbo this time & it was amazing! Perfect level of spice. I also ordered the beignets because how could I not?! And, yes did I stuff a couple of them with the strawberries served with it...so yummy! I absolutely plan to return here for the gumbo & the beignets again. The catfish sandwich was good as well but not the best I've had. Go, enjoy!!

Yelp
Usually we are used to retirement celebrations for one but under current circumstances we were saying goodbye to many of our colleagues and thus planned a mega farewell. 1803 NYC seemed like it would be the ideal venue as it has a basement bar that could accommodate our group. We arrived at the time i believe was discussed previously with management however there seemed to be some confusion about the group size. Regardless we were led to the basement so we could begin celebrating (just a heads up, the staircase is very dark so be careful on those steps). The space itself is very nice and immediately allows one to relax. They have some reasonable happy hour deals which won't leave you broke. The bartenders were AMAZING! Our crowd grew in numbers and decibels as the evening progressed and both the bartenders and bar backs kept the drinks flowing with great enthusiasm and excellent service. The only complaint or rather miserable experience we had was with the one of hostess. Not sure if she was annoyed from the earlier confusion or if it's her normal demeanor but she was rude and unpleasant. Our large group was given a corner table that could seat 4 UNCOMFORTABLY with the declaration that pretty much all the other tables were reserved. We obliged and stood the entire time we were there for patron who never came and stared at tables that remained empty. The interaction with this employee left many of us annoyed during an otherwise wonderful evening as we said our goodbyes.

Yelp
This place is still amazing one stay taken down because the service was so so this go round.... But the vibes food and ambiance is still worth the go! We only got appetizers and shared them ribs, fried green tomatoes, and spinach dip we loved them all along with the drinks purple reign, and hurricane and oh the places you'll go. The menu changes seasonally so you won't really have nothing twice.
