Myers Park & Event Center

Mark Paige and his staff made my entire wedding planning experience incredibly smooth. From clear communication about my selected package to easily adding the amenities I wanted, every step of the process felt organized and stress-free. We booked this venue for both our ceremony and reception, and everything was handled with excellence—from the contract process to the full venue setup. The space included tables and chairs, a full kitchen, dressing rooms, and clean men’s and women’s restrooms, which made our day even more seamless. The professionalism and care shown by Mark and his team truly exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely book this venue again.

Easy to get into and easy to get out of after the event. We attended Monster Trucks Mania and had a great time. It was loud but fun. Definitely want to do more stuff here.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so to make a long story short, the staff was incredibly kind and gave the best overview of their role and were flexible enough to make additional accommodations if the need should arise. The place was already beautifully set up (simple yet charming) by the time we arrived to set up our own décor. Fortunate for me, I was the one hauling things in and out. The decorations part was for those more talented. During and after the ceremony and reception, the whole staff had a presence but blended in with the crowd. If anyone is looking to book the event center for anything, you will be in for a treat. Unfortunately, I don't know what pricing looks like because I was just the friend with a pickup and some time on my hands.

Great musical group and fun outdoor venue. Picnic, music, nature, good people what more do you want.

We went to monster truck maniacs event here the event was ok but the bleachers were very uncomfortable and they only had 3 portapoties there are no real restrooms so that makes it uncomfortable. And also it's kinda muddy.

Horses Honoring Heroes hosted a BEAUTIFUL ceremony for Memorial Day. Thank you to the hosts and the park for such a moving event! It was good to be back at Myers Park. I showed livestock there for my entire childhood. 🌻 Good memories, great times.

Went for Diwali festival. It rained but the event was okay. Lots of vendors and stage programs along with several indian foods. Event was in a park in a countryside and its a different experience.

Attended Moto Xtreme circus at Myers Park and Event center, it was an amazing experience. The event center is quite big with ample parking space. The event center has space separately for cattle shows, space for event like circus and even for wedding. And the place also has a public restroom.

This event is "almost" in the middle of no where! At least it feels that way. Like almost all stuff ..... road construction throws a kink into the drive and view. Lots of great vendors, that wait for this twice a year event! It's well worth it! Always an enjoyable experience. Everything sells out super fast. It was packed with people! Everyone was really courteous. That impressed me more than anything else. People were actually kind to one another. Where did that come from? I loved it!!!!!!! It's free parking and at $15 per person entrance fee. This year in November they added a shuttle bus system. UGH! You will have to park in a field far off and wait for a shuttle bus. UGH. A live band plays fantastic holiday music. This time it was a one man show. Shout out to Joe Cuellar for providing the fantastic music! You rocked the event! Take a photo at the entrance as proof you already paid. This way you can walk your purchases back to your car! That's only if you didn't get stuck riding the shuttle. Plus with a picture you can return all weekend for this event! That's a win in my book. Multiple food vendors! And like anywhere, never enough restrooms. I pre-purchased my tickets months before the event. Well worth it! A few vendors I normally see did not participate in this event. Not sure why, but I missed them. (Honey, soaps, and additional food items). My personal favorites are the balsamic vinegars from Muskogee, OK and the Olive oils de fina from Sherman, TX. Always worth buying and using to cook at home. Wi-fi is terrible here! So bad that the vendors had to run outside to scan your card. Please bring cash to these events. It runs much smoother when you do! Some will even give discounts for cash sales. I can't wait till the spring event happens! I love what Myers does with this location! Good job! November 2024

Attended the McKinney Vintage Market at Myers. Seemed to be just as much new items as vintage on site. Food Trucks on site. No masking required seemed strange when unable to social support distancing. Some good vendors

We've been here several times for flea market type events. Ample parking and generally good event space. Wear close toed shoes as the floors inside the barns are not necessarily all solid (packed dirt or straw). The restrooms could use updating and expanding, but are functional.

Out here for a family reunion and truly enjoyed the space. Looking at a couple previous 1 star reviews, you rate the heat or a phone call. It is hot in Texas, but the area and the pavilion works perfect. Easy to reserve and they setup for you. Includes table and chairs with plenty of ling tables to setup food. The pavilion has power and restrooms. Includes roll down screens to block the sun and wind. Great place to walk around and look at the flower gardens and the farm equipment museum. I enjoyed the area and will be back.

When I came to see this place for a potential wedding ceremony/reception venue I was very surprised with the quality of the place for the price. I had contacted Mark Page who is the main contact for brides. He answered all of my emails, texts, and other social media messages. He met with me quite a few times so I could bring my parents, fiancee, and vendors. None of my vendors had ever been here before but it was a beautiful venue. You have to come and see it to see it's potential. All the austin stone, wood work was not very rustic in my opinion. The Landing is where I held my ceremony and reception of 150 people and they had PLENTY of room. I had 20 round tables with 8 chairs per table, two/three rectangular tables for welcome/gifts, then a full dj with speakers, then two rectangle tables for buffet, and two tables for bar. There is a full kitchen which my caterers complimented for. It's a great size and has everything you would need I think which is rare in a venue. I contacted the venue manager the day before the wedding to change my time of when I wanted my "time" to start. He emailed me back very quickly and had it all ready. Basically what happens on your wedding day is the venue will be unlocked for you when you arrive. You will need to bring all your decor with you you cannot come beforehand to store your decor. All tables are set in place, with chairs on top of tables. You are responsible for setting up chairs and all decor. Depending on ceremony is where your chairs will be set up for you. If your reception is inside they ill clear the 24 chairs that are allowed. If you have any more than 24 for inside the rest of your guests sit at tables which is not as awful as some of you think. There was a contact the day of who I had never met until that day he will be your guy to contact about anything. He made sure ceremony set up was what I wanted before leaving to go back to his duties. We quickly realized it was too warm so we contacted him multiple times throughout the evening for him to set the air and he was happy to every time. My hair and makeup stylists had plenty of space for me, and three other people in my bridal party. The officer that they hired was very friendly and had assisted in many events at this venue so he knew how to turn on inside and outside lights, air, where things go, etc. He was a great help! I believe he even took the the trash for us while my family cleaned out the place afterward. You are presented with a card when you first get there of all the duties you are to take care when you leave the venue. The list was shorter than I had expected especially for such a DIY venue. A couple complaints I had were that you may serve alcohol, but beer must be served in cans. Which slims down your choices of beer. There is an extra $100 charge to serve margaritas. But you must provide you own machines. No other liquor is allowed. Second, they do not allow you to take tables and chairs outside other than for ceremony. The weather was perfect on my wedding day so I was disappointed that I couldn't set up a sitting area outside. Third, they do not allow any fire or sparklers outside the venue. I am sure all of my complaints are a county laws so could be out of their control. In conclusion, Myers exceeded my expectations. They were accessible, friendly, very straight forward, and clear about what kind of venue they provided and what was expected of us. Especially for the price it was everything I had hoped for. I would recommend this place to any DIY and modest cost bride.

Parking for hundreds of cars completely unorganized. One entrance one exit. Stupid. One line of cars to get in or out. Never again. Traffic backed up for one hour because they had no one directing traffic and only opened one entrance. Unbelievably poor planning for the monster truck event this weekend. March 21st 2021

Online the place looks great. But before I drove all the way out to McKinney I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be wasting my time. I called and spoke to an uptight witch who was clearly ready for the weekend. She couldn't be bothered to answer a few simple questions. I can't remember the last time I dealt with someone so bluntly rude. Well, she saved me a trip and some $ and all she got out of it was a nasty review. Hope she's happy (and I hope she gets a flat tire on the way home). Karmas like that.

We went to Myers Park for a homeschool group field trip. Miss Jennifer and the engineers provided an exceptional presentation on farming from the 1800's. We learned so much from the collection of antique farming equipment- how wheat was processed, and how that process has changed over the last 150 years. The children walked the gardens with Miss Jennifer comparing and contrasting plant conditions. We located spiders, grasshoppers, and observed the changes to plants due to the water and soil. Finally, we created "seed bomb balls." This was a highlight! Afterwards, we had a group picnic under a covered porch. Our group toured the grounds. It is quite beautiful there. We plan to return in the spring to learn more about cotton. Thank you to everyone who made this trip an exceptional educational experience! I really do recommend coming here for a learning adventure. It's a Texas treasure.

Mark Page at this Venue is wonderful. He was very patient and willing to accommodate us. My wedding was beautiful and I highly recommend this space for any event!

While this location is pretty for an outdoor wedding, I would NOT recommend doing a reception there is the warm months. The air conditioning is almost non existent and during the 100+ degree days in north Texas, it is brutal to ask guests to come and sweat outside AND inside. When asked to come and check the thermostat at the beginning of the day,some guy was sent out and only walked in, stated it was cool to him, and walked out. I checked the temperature at 3:00 p.m., only 1 hour into the reception and the temperature was 82. BEWARE!!!!
