Big exhibition space in the EUR district, which is well worth a wander around if you're in Rome and have some time on your hands. The lego expo is there this weekend, incredible works by lots of different enthusiasts from around the world. My favourite was the 4th century model of Rome, 300,000 bricks and 4 years in the making. Quite incredible, and the chap who did it, very pleasant and humble. The St. Peter's Basilica was also amazing. Lots there to suit all types of lego enthusiast, and even those, like me, who aren't really into it themselves will be pleased they went.

We visited the Palazzo dei Congressi for the Rome Marathon Expo, and the organization was a disaster. The layout inside was completely confusing, like a labyrinth—it was almost impossible to find our way around. While the staff was nice, they were not helpful at all when we asked for directions, and even the security personnel didn’t seem to know where to guide people. There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of signage and organization. The venue itself is spacious, but the experience was frustrating. Hopefully, they make some changes for future events.

EUR neighborhood is definitely Rome's most interesting area from an architecture's point of view. This very congress palace is in the heart of it and together with the Palazzo della Civiltà Romana it is combined in a superb long vista. Mussolini may have been a bleeding gilt but his architectural legacy is a true masterpiece. You may come here even when the palace is closed, sitting on the stairs and watching one of the most attractive hidden gems of the Italian capital.

Lovely place that hosted the bib number pickup, unfortunately it's only ok as there is no baby changing areas in the place.
