Geumdot Seongsan Black Pork

Such a great place for barbecue! Super authentic with excellent quality and service. We drove by and saw a long line, which says it all. The staff were very welcoming, and we ordered the pork set, steamed egg, and kimchi soup—all delicious, with unlimited side dishes. Full of locals dining here. Highly recommend if you are by Seongsanilchul mountain!

All around, a good and decent dining experience. The stew came in a generous portion and was full of comforting, rich flavours. Ingredients tasted fresh and well-prepared, making it very satisfying. On top of that, the customer service was attentive and friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Reached hotel late and by 8pm not much food options left. Saw on Google this store with good reviews and decided to try them out. Restaurant is popular has its crowd even at the hour. Pork is delicious in general. However all seats were stool without backrest not totally comfortable.

Best Black Pork and Grill experience on Jeju, even Korea. The service is top notch and the quality of the food is excellent. The seasoning on the grill to the pickled onions, green onions, seafood stew and the egg soufflé is unmatched This establishment is well deserving of all the excellent reviews Thank you for a great time and great meal

We recommend coming here! Service was great and very efficient. They cook the pork set for you which is nice. Pork was juicy and delightful to have many options to eat it with. The servers are diligent to provide a good service. We recommend the pork set and add the steamed eggs and soup (which includes rice) to complete the experience.

The staff were very helpful and quick on their feet. Don’t worry about cooking of the meet, they actually do it for you! As for the spread, the sides are free flow and provided for you when you sit down. My favourites are the kimchi and the onions, they go great with the rice. The meat is well preserved and cooked to perfection, goes well with the many sauces they provide for you. Would recommend this for lunch and dinner if you’re near Seongsan Ilchulbong!!

My partner and I came here for dinner and got the 600g black pork + kimchi stew + steamed egg. All was really good. It would be some of the best pork I had. There were 2 cuts, pork belly, and a pork steak. The steak was our favourite, and had a good mix of juiciness and crispness. It was helpful to have it cooked for us at our table so we didnt have to worry about doing it wrong. The sides were nice, however we would have liked to see some more options for sauces to put in lettuce wraps etc as an accompaniment (the ones at the bar were more like salad dressings). The kimchi stew had tofu on the top and bits of black pork strewn throughout (actually a decent amount). It tasted similar to a tomato soup.

Delicious meal and service was great. I am already thinking about the next time we can visit again. Open later than a lot of options in the area. Our first time trying jeju black pork and this place definitely does it right. It was like steak consistency and tasted tender. Egg was out of this world.
