We use to get good from their food truck. So yummy!!! We had the spicy Mac n cheese, cheesy garlic bread, and Nona’s calzone. E writhing was amazing. The portion sizes were large.

It was my husband's and I first time at Roma Italian Kitchen. I watched a few reviews and recommendations from TikTok and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara and I was disappointed. It lacked flavor and the sauce had a watery consistency. Would not recommend. 1/5 My husband ordered the Lemon Mushroom Shrimp Stuffed Cheese Ravioli. His order was more flavorful, so we gave it a 3/5. It did not have that zestiness that we were looking for. The food took about 40 minutes to come out and we noticed that they prioritized doordash orders. We are grateful that they gave us free fries. They helped us not be hangry lol 2/5 Overall

We had a spectacular dining experience with our family here! I was recommended to come here by my nephew who enjoys the food so we wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed! Lovely atmosphere, excellent customer service, it was such a homey place. I can’t get over how delicious the food was. I ordered the spicy carbonara and just wow! Every plate had a generous portion. We were so full but we kept eating cuz it was just too good! Bravo to the owner, chef and staff for making sure we got a wonderful dinner experience! We will be recommending more family and friends and also we will be coming back!

Took a friend to lunch here using a gift card that I bought from Costco. Let me start with the good. The ambiance is very newish and clean, including the bathroom. I ordered the Piccata with a side salad. It was very tasty, and the portion size was very large. Our server was friendly and considerate. Now, the not so good. The server brought us bread, but there was no butter or vinegar & oil to go with it. We are not given appetizer plates, so, I guess we were supposed to put the bread on our napkin??? The bread was very salty. Our order took an exceptionally long time to arrive. When it finally arrived, my friend could not eat his Nonna's Calzone as it was extremely salty. Our server was kind enough to remove the item from our bill and only charged for the side salad that my friend ordered. When I received the bill, I noticed there was a price disparity of the cost of my Piccata. The menu I was provided said it was $21, but I was charged $27 which was the price listed up on the takeout menu board. I let the server know, and he was kind enough to remove the added charge. In the end, he thanked us for pointing out the problems so that they would be aware of them, and he gave us free cannolis for the trouble. I gave them one extra star than I would have otherwise for their efforts to make things better.

Google
Absolute fire. One of the best Italian restaurants in Fresno. Actually, might be the ONLY best Italian restaurant in Fresno! Then again, I haven't tried them all. I didn't dine in, so I will only review from a to-go point of view. The meatball sandwich was on point. The sauce, the meat, the cheese The Spicy Carbonara was beyond your wildest dreams. That might be the best description, honestly. Would I recommend coming here though? ... yes. Now stop reading the reviews and listen to my advice and GO.

My daughter and I had lunch at Roma today. Honestly, it was a great experience. The restaurant is cozy, very shiny, very simple and clean!!! We ordered chicken salad, it was refreshing but a small tip, the plate should be little bit bigger for that Amount of vegetables. The cheese sticks were really good and the meat ravioli was delicious. As a complementary appetizer they served us 2 freshly baked boule with butter. If you’re looking for a cozy Italian restaurant, Roma is the best !!! Good luck guys…..

Google
This was a very disappointing experience. I had seen great reviews on Tik tok and was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Waited about 40 minutes for garlic parm fries that were basically just plain fries with a sprinkle of store bought Parmesan and a big clump of raw oily garlic at the bottom. We were checked on maybe once and after over an hour had passed, we still had not received our food. It seemed as though our order was forgotten. We requested the check for the fries (which I believe we should have been comped for since we had waited so long already) and were met with a half-hearted “sorry” and an excuse saying they got a catering order in. It would have been fine if we were informed but watching door dash and in person orders be sent out while we sat there waiting for our orders that was put in a long time ago. I have never experienced such terrible service and will not return or recommend this place. Here’s a picture of our fries since we never got our 2 pasta dishes we ordered.

Google
They passed the test with one of the best spaghetti and meatball with meat sauce entrees I've had in a long time. This was full of flavor and was huge. I recommend getting a second meatball (because they're so good). The music is set to 30's and 40's big band. My service was amazing. The bread served were 2 sourdough rolls. While dining in the phone rang with to go orders and patrons were in and out to pick up more to go orders. I guess the word is out . . . Roma's is the place to get some really good Italian food.

Yelp
food was delicious and great portion. house salad. spaghetti and meatballs was delicious, the spaghetti sauce was delicious, great service... very clean

Yelp
This is our go to Italian restaurant. The pasta is always delicious. The portions are a great size, and the leftovers heat up well. The cashiers and servers are always kind and quick. I would recommend the RCBA, Spicy Carbonara, Roma Rigatoni, and the Spicy Mac and Cheese. The salad is very fresh, and their ranch tastes a little different, almost slightly sweet. I love their bruschetta and bread, and the tiramisu is light, fluffy, and delicious.

Yelp
Came here with my sisters and we all got pasta! Overall, I'd say this place has some solid pasta. The picatta was really good and tasty, and so was the mushroom agnolotti. These 2 pasta dishes stood out to me the most. The chicken Alfredo was nothing special, and I personally did not really enjoy the spicy Mac n cheese. I recommend the picatta :D Inside is on the smaller end, but was clean. Service was mid... maybe we just came on a bad day for them. One of the workers said they were busy preparing for a catering event, but it took a while for us to get serviced so that kind of ruined the experience, waiting for our food, menu, to be seated, etc.... but the older man was very kind

Yelp
Roma is a hidden gem. At first glance it didn't seem like much, it's a small place with maybe 15 tables. We were seated right away for a party of 5. We ordered their salad and it was totally sharable if not as your meal. I ordered the RCBA which was delicious. My husband ordered the spicy carbonara. My children split the kids spaghetti. They originally forgot the sauce so they just added it on top making the pasta runny unfortunately. But my kids still ate it and enjoyed it. I got a tiramisu to go. Thought due to the portions of the pastas it would be a little bigger for the price but it still tasted good.

Yelp
Came back for round two and the service has definitely improved. What's crazy is that there was only one server for the majority of our visit this time. This time we had calamari, and cheesy garlic bread as appetizers. I ordered the lasagna, my hubs the chicken parm- again. And our friend ordered chicken fettuccine. The lasagna is pretty ricotta heavy, at least the slice I was served was, so if you're not a fan, watch out. The restaurant was clean as always. The owner was talking with a random customer about food and he dropped everything he was doing to answer questions about a possible catering order even though he was busy. That's great to see.

Yelp
Excellent sausage sandwich. Big enough to share. Fast, friendly service, nice clean beautiful inside. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We are fans of Mike's Pizzeria so knew I would like this version of his son's. What started as a food truck has morphed into a brick and mortar. Nothing fancy, a delightful little cafe in a corner shopping center on the far northeast end of Fresno, sort of opposite end of Mike's location. Not a large menu. Beer and wine but no bar. Oh, and desserts. I took a slice of limoncello cake home to share with my husband. Very good. Not super busy at lunch. Quick service, but relaxed for a group not in too much of a hurry. Delicious food and large portions. My only complaint...not opened on Mondays, but neither is Mike's.

Yelp
Food lasagna was delicious the best I've had in a long time recommending gotta try it, the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, delicious we enjoyed every bit of it. Great customer service homemade bread was very good.

Yelp
Let's start with the positive things; The mushroom ravioli is out of this world it's #2 right under 13 Prime in Fresno I didn't catch the waiter name but he was a young man with glasses he was very nice and was trying his absolute best Now with the negative; The carbonara was bland, dry, and had no flavor. They had to bring 2 extra sides of sauce for it to be edible. The RCBA was nothing special either very little bacon pieces It takes nearly an hour to get your food. It's clearly not on the staff but on the owners/management. They have 3 waiters on the entire floor when it clearly needs 6 for the amount of people that show up. Hopefully they get the help they need I felt so bad for everyone working there

Yelp
If you're looking for a great Italian spot in Fresno, this is an excellent choice. The homemade bread was hot and fresh, and the meatball appetizer was outstanding. We ordered the build-your-own brick oven pizza and the mushroom agnolotti--both were delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It's a small space, but absolutely worth the wait.

Yelp
We cannot get enough of Roma!!! Their food is so delicious. And their service is top notch. The owner had let us know one time that they could really make the chicken Marsala anytime and just to ask for it. They changed the specials for the summer, so I asked and the waiter happily said she could ask the chef. Then Serg came out and confirmed what I was wanting and what could be done without an ingredient, and I accepted what he was willing to do for me. He came back out once more to check in and ask me about my dish and I just felt so special!! Talk about making the customer feel like they are in a family members home getting served fresh food. Thank you Roma! You will continue to get our business! Also-caprese salad and raviolis with pesto Alfredo sauce were 10/10 too.

Yelp
So pleased with the food and experience here. We arrived after the dinner rush so we were seated right away and at least 3 different servers asked if we had been helped. We were given complimentary fluffy dinner rolls that were so good. We ordered the spicy chicken carbonara and the chicken piccata. The spicy carbonara was not spicy to me but had a smoky pepper flavor that reminded me of bbq sauce. So that was a little odd but still tasty and the noodles were perfectly al dente. The chicken piccata was lemony and the little pops of capers were perfect. Huge portions for leftovers later that night. Definitely will be back to try other menu items!

Yelp
New Favorite! Deserves Way More Stars Roma Italian Kitchen is seriously underrated. When we walked in, the place was spotless -- like impressively clean -- but totally empty, which made us a little skeptical at first. Thankfully, we stuck around because it ended up being such a gem. Our server was super sweet and brought us fresh bread to start. Not just your average bread either -- I literally saw them pull a fresh batch out of the oven and set it aside for dinner service. That first bite? Warm, soft, and just perfect. I had the mushroom agnolotti and let me tell you -- it was divine. Perfectly seasoned, rich in flavor, and so comforting. My husband got the spicy mac and cheese, which was huge, and the first thing he said was, "this tastes like home." That's when I knew we had a winner. We also tried the Wild Horse beer, which took me straight back to childhood -- it reminded me of Tops (anyone remember that?). We even went to the brewery after dinner and picked up more cans. That's how good it was. Honestly, this place does not have enough stars on Yelp. The food, the vibes, the service -- all 10/10. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Dined in on a fun Friday night. Very welcoming, friendly, and attentive staff. Our party of 4, including 2 children, ordered Fried Calamari, Italian Chopped Salad, Kids Spaghetti with Parmesan and butter, (not pictured) Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti, and Spaghetti with Meatball. Listened to music, especially Italian favorites and a few showtunes which made great conversation, as we enjoyed our meal. I tried everything we ordered, and all were delicious.

Yelp
Had a really great dinner here tonight with my wife. Ordered Chicken Cordon bleu and spicy carbonara with dinner salads. The portions here are significantly big. Our waitress Carolyn was great and attentive! Hot dinner rolls are excellent too! Definitely will return soon.

Yelp
Delicious!!! I used to go to this place when they were a food truck and have been meaning to try it again now that they have an actual restaurant! Came in on a Wednesday night for a sit down dinner and we were the only ones in there - so we were sat immediately. I think a lot of people opt to get it to go! Service was super quick and efficient. We got complimentary bread and it was yummy, no complaints. THE GOODS: 〰 Fried Calamari (3/5): I thought this was just OK! The breading wasn't too too flavorful. It did have a nice crisp though! I don't think I'd get it again but I'm glad I tried it. 〰 Spicy Mac 'n Cheese (5/5): Some of the best pasta I've had in Fresno. Their portion size is HUGE so you can definitely share this. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the spicy pink alfredo sauce is a must try. 〰 Sausage Sandwich (4/5): Yummy! Spicy Italian sausage, grilled onion, bell pepper, mozzarella, meat sauce - you can't go wrong with this.

Yelp
My husband and I came on a Friday night. We were welcomed and seated immediately. We ordered the Italian chopped salad and shrimp scampi to share. Boy were both dishes delicious--, the portions are big for each, excellent for sharing. The Shrimp scampi was seasoned well and the white wine lemon cream sauce was nice. Overall a great spot for Italian cuisine.

Yelp
Yummy! Great pasta and perfect (large) portions. Ordered it to go. Also loved the bruschetta!

Savory S.

Yelp
I was very excited to try out Romas. Overall not a bad experience. The service was okay, they forgot to put in our appetizer order and it came out after the main course. The place is very clean and has a cozy feel to it. Regarding the food the RCBA was my favorite, very flavorful and delicious. Didn't like the chicken piccata too much, definitely not the best I ever had. The fried ravioli was okay, a little hard and less cheesy for my taste. The limoncello cake however was delicious, very soft and yum. Overall I'd give this experience a 7/10. I'll

Yelp
Roma Italian Kitchen is a relatively new restaurant in Fresno. I say "relatively" because they started out in a food truck until they were able to find a location to open their restaurant. It has wonderful, delicious food. My husband and I went there last week for a late lunch. It was a joy to taste an excellent meal with great, friendly service! My husband tried the "Chicken Parmesan" ($24.00). I tried the "Mushroom Agnolotti" ($24.00) which is mushroom stuffed ravioli in a Marsala cream sauce. Of course we tasted each others' food. Our favorite was the Chicken Parmesan. The ambience was excellent. I chose the Mushroom Agnolotti. I liked this meal which is very rich. It needed a bit more Marsala sauce. The bread rolls were amazing. The servings were generous with and delicious! It was a great experience and we can't wait to try other selections on the menu. It's a great restaurant! Try it!

Sabeen N.

Yelp
The garlic cheese bread and bruschetta were good, but the Roma rigatoni was not. Was wayy too spicy (and I like spice usually) and not even a good spicy, it just ruined the whole meal. The service was amazing, Skye was so sweet and so were the other waitresses!

Yelp
We placed an order through doordash at 6:30, said it would be an hour and that they were preparing order. An hour later doordash driver was waiting at the restaurant. Then about 10min later we are informed that our order had been canceled by the restaurant. So we waited an hour and a half just for them to cancel our food. No reason why or explanation whatsoever. So at almost 8pm we have to try to figure out what to eat. Very bad service will not be ordering again.

Savannah D.

Yelp
Poor service. Walked in put our name down for table for 2 at 5:33pm, given a 15-20 minute wait, waited over 40 minutes, no call and went and asked how much longer. Watched two parties be seated before us. Unprofessional service.

Chris T.

Yelp
Take out order took more than 30 minutes. We should have learned the last time which required 45 minutes. What happened to customer service and efficiency?
google avatar

Yelp
I usually keep bad reviews to myself. I've never given a 1-Star rating but, here goes. We were visiting Fresno, had a busy day, and, instead of waiting at DiCicco's on a Saturday night, I had the bright idea of trying something new and pop-in to this place, based on the Yelp 4 Star rating, for a quick meal. Service - there is a waiting list and you wait standing outside the shop. When we arrived there were six people, two parties, preceding us. We checked in at 6:20 PM for a party of two and given an estimated time of 20 minutes. We were told takeout would take 45 minutes so we took the shorter estimate. We waited in the car until 6:40 after everyone else had been called in. Standing at the door I saw a vacant table-for-two along the wall expecting to be called soon. At 6:55, after being ignored by the staff, who I know saw me gazing through the window, and wondering why in tarnation we weren't sitting the vacant table, we gave up and, exasperated, drove away. At 7:05PM driving down Chestnut, they called, inquiring if we were "still interested" in the table. Well, there was already a sunk cost in the wait and no immediate prospects for a meal, so we turned around and, at 7:10, were seated AT THE VERY SAME VACANT TABLE. Our order was taken, perhaps, 5 minutes later. The orders, a sausage sandwich and a kitchen-sink calzone (vide infra), arrived 45 minutes later. Finally, gratefully, we were out of there at 8:20 PM. Two hours, TWO HOURS, at a hole-in-the-wall-run-of-the-mill-strip-mall Italian restaurant where it should take no longer than fifty minutes, at the most an hour tops, from sign-in to check. Food - Lets talk about the bland and mediocre calzone containing the minimum of cheese. And the sausage sandwich with, what? Ground sausage (??). It's something I've never experienced. Ground sausage is a credible ingredient on a Domino's pizza, I've had many. And not that there's anything wrong, comparatively in this case, with Domino's Pizza - which is what we should have ordered in the first place - but I submit ground sausage on soggy bread with a few red peppers and onions is not any sausage sandwich I am familiar with. Heaven only can only imagine what the chicken parm, mushroom ravioli or carbonara are like. Let's leave that to others. Ambience - hole-in-the-wall-run-of-the-mill-strip-mall Italian restaurant. Clean. Sturdy, not wobbly tables. Value - prices close to DiCicco's but, at the risk of being redundant, not even approaching the quality. Perhaps it's the California Minimum Wage law that limits the number of servers and preparers that explains the delays and quality. I don't know. If

Yelp
Food was excellent but service was very slow. Our table was forgotten. The server asked to take our order then said she needed a notepad and didn't come back for along time. The service missed the mark for me so I'll stick to take out
google avatar

Daniel E.

Yelp
I had to go back and have the calzone with sauce and it was delicious. I will be a regular and next time I'll be asking for extra cheese and adding chili pods. I also had the calamari and it was really delicious too.
google avatar

Mariana L.

Yelp
I came here for the first time after hearing great things, but unfortunately, the service really missed the mark. When we arrived, they told us only a few parties of two were ahead of us and we should be seated within 20 minutes. I gave my number and waited in the car. Nearly an hour later, we noticed people walking in and being seated right away. We decided to check, and to our surprise, the restaurant was almost empty, they had forgotten about us entirely. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer and each got a pasta dish. The appetizer never came until after we'd both eaten our fill of pasta, so we just took it home in a to-go box where it inevitably got soggy. On the positive side, portion sizes are generous, and the spicy carbonara was delicious. I also ordered two to-go items. When I went to pay, I let them know I was still waiting on them. The tattooed himbo up front said they "should be" working on it -- which, given the earlier mishap, didn't inspire much confidence. I paid approximately $120 for dinner for 4 and an appetizer.

John G.

Yelp
We have visited this restaurant several times and truly enjoyed each meal. Being raised by an Italian mother, who was "off the boat from the old country" (this is a compliment, not a criticism) I am rarely impressed by Italian restaurant food. However, our last visit was somewhat questionable. We placed a large online order and the pickup time was automatically selected earlier than we wanted. Easy fix, just call the restaurant and ask for a later pickup time. A recorded message stated the number had been changed and the new number was not known. Surely I misdialed, so I called again, and again, and several more times. Each call resulted in the same message. Knowing our food would be just sitting there getting cold I picked up the order. When I told them it appears they have a phone issue I was told they hear that often and it is a problem with their provider of service. Here's a thought, get a new provider. How can you run a restaurant where call in orders are a significant part of your business with a known phone issue? Regardless, I still provided a decent tip for food I really didn't want for another hour. Chances are we will return, but next time I'll call first. If I don't get through I will select a different restaurant.

Yelp
This was my first time here. My husband has been here once before and really liked it, so we came for our wedding anniversary. He called last night to place an order that we could pick up and take home today. When we got there today, the cashier was very amiable and helpful. My husband gave her his name, and she immediately told us our order was just about ready. We waited not even five minutes, and it was out. We paid for it and left. The meals were both delicious. I ordered the mushroom agnolitti, and my hubby ordered the chicken cordon bleu. I was very satisfied with the portion size and the meal itself. My husband and I would highly recommend this place. We'll be coming back soon :).

Yelp
Best Pasta in Fresno! I used to order from them when they were just a food truck. Love love love the sauce. The service was great and the inside was so cute. The only thing that could use improvement on was the pizza, because it was really oily. Also the spooneli ice cream wasn't my cup of tea. But overall, best pasta in town.
google avatar

Cheryl B.

Yelp
Picked up our food, girl was Snarky at best. Really didn't have time for us. Then once we go to eat our 2 exactly the same Calzone's, we got 2 completely different ones. So disappointed. In our Opinion not nearly as good as DiCicco's, this was sub par. This was closer & more convenient & we thought, Great we have a new Italian Restaurant. We even thought, OK, no free bread, it's OK, not really good for our diet. Food taste was so disappointing, sorry guys thumbs down.

Jesus C.

Yelp
Not even a hello. Not even eye contact. At least tell us we're gonna have a wait. At least tell us it'll be an hour wait or something that's better. Even seen some dining customers eyeing us because they noticed we weren't being helped smh

Vivian L.

Yelp
Loved their Calzone! Service was great, efficient. Restaurant was nice and clean. We will eat there again!

Manivone S.

Yelp
Food was ok and not sure why our pasta came out cold. I've seen this on TikTok of ppl giving them great reviews. So decided to give them a try. and u see steam coming out while they are eating it. I was just bummed. Maybe it was a bad night. But I'll give them another try when I'm in the area. And service could be better. Like it would be nice to greet us and let us know will be with u. Not after waiting 15 mins... now u want to say I'll be with u?
google avatar

Kaleigh M.

Yelp
Delicious!!! Finally made it over here since they've been out of the food truck and it's only gotten better! First thing I noticed was the staff ... as soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed by the girl at the register that took our order. She was so sweet, attentive and personable, I didn't get her name but shout out to her. The food was delicious. I tried the chicken parm dish with pink sauce and wow chefs kiss. I HIGHLY recommend the pink sauce on any dish ... Very clean atmosphere with plenty of seating inside! Overall, I love it here and am so happy to see how well they're doing as a restaurant , I can't wait to be back!

Yelp
My bride and I wanted to try this place out for a while. We rolled the dice on a Saturday night. We got a table and were seated immediately. The service was wonderful. The food was amazing. We got bruschetta as an appetizer. It was the best I have ever had. I got spaghetti and meatballs, it was awesome. My bride got a spicy rigatoni. She said it was ok. I stole a couple of bites of her food, it was good. I would definitely return. I loved it. I gotta say that the service was really good . They really take care of you. Good job.

Yelp
I was confused where the clams where but then noticed there mixed in and cut up into little pieces. Was the clam budget cut the dish it self cost almost 30$ which is insane to me if u give somebody what seems to be caned clams , their mushy , and smell a little fishy and don't taste very good. The service itself is good our waitress was nice and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Yelp
Finally made the treck across town to try Andrew's brick and mortar. Place looked nice and clean, small what you would expect for a place in a strip mall. Me and my boyfriend were not acknowledged by the 2 servers running around. When I finally flagged one down, there was no friendly greeting, no acknowledgement of us standing there for a while, no personality were busy tables are dirty it will be a while we're busy. The gal also not personality same thing though she said she'd get a table cleaned for us. The food was amazing but the service was less than a dinner, more like a quick self serve establishment. They did not course anything when ordering I stated we wanted to start with an appetizer and salad. Everything came out ontop of each other and they forgot my salad and brought it after the entree hit the table. Never were we checked on, we weren't sure if we had to go get our own refills ect. The linguine and clams were amazing, better than Bella Pasta, and DiCiccos, and I'm not a fan of sausage but Andrew's were good. But the service did not make up for the terrible service and over all price for 2. If and when I venture back it will only be for Togo. I hope Andrew gets his service staff in order, stations, steps of service, because his brick and mortor has great potential like his father's Mike's Pizzaria.

Yelp
I love Roma's pasta and sauce! Their lasagne is delicious and full of delicious sauce and cheese! I've also had their Chicken Parmesan! The servings are generous, always enough for 2 meals!

Yelp
This relative tiny little hole in the wall Restaurant has some amazing Italian food which comes out pretty darn amazing. The mushroom ravioli is quite delicious. The manicotti with spinach had a great flavor. Great tomato sauce. The service was good and the food was great.

Yelp
12/24/24 Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Getting lunch! I called and ordered a veggie calzone with chicken added and baked. The worker was very kind. Gave me the total and said it would be ready in 25 min. I went to pick it up shortly later. Restaurant is very nice! Calm & low key with music playing. Greeted upon entering and worker was very kind. Yelp
I was going to only submit photos because I like to try a place a couple times before reviewing. I changed my mind because this is THEE best calzone I've had since Mama made them herself. I am always on the hunt and they never quite land--too soggy, too chewy, burnt on the outside and bland on the inside. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly how it would taste and it was perfection. The spicy carbonara was also very good, not overly spicy but it had a nice kick to it. It's veryyy creamy compared to a classic carbonara but im not complaining, I would order this again. Tiramisu was yummy, I love a dessert that's done well and true to tradition without a crazy American spin on it Andrew is the owner and was right up front making recommendations and answering questions. I've never tried them when they were a truck but would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I was so impressed by the food, totally yummy! My first time with this restaurant. I ordered delivery, then read the reviews and a couple of the reviews slightly concerned me. Absolutely not my experience, the food was fantastic! Much above a standard Italian eatery......bit of a twist, much more flavorful. It will be my go to place for Italian!

Yelp
Love their food both at this location and when they had their food truck. They are a Fresno restaurant family and we have never been disappointed. The owner was cooking but came out to say hi and was great. The only negative is that they are expensive. You have to pay for good quality so that just means for my family we don't come here as often as we would like. They other negative is that they have Pepsi products not Coke. This time around we ordered Chicken Piccata, chicken parmigiana, spicy carbonate, meat tortellini and mozzarella sticks. Everything was awesome but here are some detais. Piccata was good but not very lemony (we squezzed some lemon over it to give it some more flavor). Spicy carbonara was perfect with chicken and bacon. Chicken parmigiana was excellent but the spaghetti that came with it was marinara, we would have preferred meat sauce. Meat tortellini also had the marinara but that worked just fine. The mozzarella sticks were excellent but $15 seems a little high priced. They do charge 3.99% extra for credit cards and their pricing was a little confusing at their POS system. All in all you will love the food.

Yelp
Food was amazing, large portions, pizza's are delicious too. Service also amazing. Very casual and comfy feel to the restaurant. Owner always tries to come out and say hi to the customers when he can get a minute to break away from the kitchen. Always makes sure you are happy with your meal.

Yelp
My favorite place to go for a sausage and pepper sandwich. Love the other sandwiches as well, but the sausage sandwich is the best in Fresno in my opinion.

Yelp
Love Andrew's Italian cooking. I loved Roma's food truck! Actually , loved when Andrew was first cheffing it up at Mikes Pizzaria... the food is always delicious there, but was always extra, extra delicious when he was in cheffing it up in the kitchen there. He takes great pride in the food he makes. And today I finally made it to the new restaurant Roma's. If you want really good simple authentic Italian food, you need to come here. A quaint little place with lots of room... good wine, good beer, and best of all great homemade delicious Italian food. I grew up eating in an authentic Italian family from Italy and the sauce here (the best) is just like grandma's. Everything on the menu is awesome. I totally recommend if you've never been here, a MUST try is the Calzone for sure. It's a savory pastry with a yummy meat sauce. Best in town. I am so looking forward to the Daou wine pairing & 4 course dinner event May 19th, 2025. I think tickets will sell out quickly so if you know you know, and if you've never been here, this might be a good event for you. Get your tickets while you still can, if you read this in time. (In the know) ;)
