Tokyo Sushi

Came in around 11:30am on a Sunday, no problems getting a spot in the free parking lot and was immediately seated (do note it can get packed closer to 12+pm) Service was great, food arrived relatively quickly, even as more and more people came in. Staff was patient with the requests we had here and there l, they great. Atmosphere was also good, no abnoxious and obtrusive music and grest for groups of 3 to 6 to converse and enjoy themselves. Food was lovely, the long rolls come in smaller pieces which is ideal for AYCE so it's easier to not over order and over eat while still eating your fill. I ended up ordering and eating a ton: 1. Oishi (Baked) - avocado, crab mix, tempura shrimp, salmon, baked sauce 2. Super Dynamite (Cooked) - cooked salmon skin, crystal shrimp, cooked scallops, tobiko 3. Spider (Cooked) - soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado 4. Double Tiger (Cooked) - crab mix, pineapple, crystal shrimp, tempura shrimp, charred salmon 5. Carson City (Cooked) - mango, tempura shrimp, charred salmon, crab mix, macadamia 6. Oregon (Handroll) - tempura shrimp, ebi, crab mix, avocado, pineapple 7. Salmon Crunch (Raw) - crab mix, avocado, crystal shrimp, salmon, crunch 8. Tokyo (Raw) - crab mix, crystal shrimp, tuna, salmon, avocado, scallops, masago 9. Nigiri - Saba (Mackerel), Inari (Tofu), Smoked Salmon, Donald (Salmon, spicy crab, lemon, avocado) 10. Crab Ball - deep fried breaded ball with crab, mayonnaise, seasoning 11. Tempura Banana w/ Vanilla Ice Cream (w/ chocolate & strawberry syrup) 12. Mochi filled w/ Ice cream - Coffee & Mango

Decent all-you-can-eat option in Reno with fair prices and small portions that let you try many flavors. The atmosphere is nice and the service is fast. However, the calamari had no seasoning, and the sauce they use on the sushi tends to dominate, making most rolls taste the same. Overall, it’s not bad, but nothing special either. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars – just average.

This place was bomb! The all you can eat sushi was delicious. It also includes all you can drink sake which was insane. Our group had such a good time that we came back twice. The hand rolls and nigiri are where its at.

I love going to Tokyo Sushi. The food is always good. The downside is everyone else likes it here also. They are often very busy, so I dont come as much as Id like too. My favorite roll here is the Crazy Monkey roll. I also tried their baked limited special Salmon Kama tonight, and it was so good! Definitely try this if you get the opportunity! They service here is quick, and the staff are very friendly.

11/25/25 Sit at thr bar, best place in the joint! Yet again great great sushi. Have not ever had a bad food experience. 7/1/2025 - Wow what a stark difference. Came with my husband and 11 yr old son and sat at a table instead of the sushi bar. Its a Tuesday at 315pm. Service was despicable. Our server left to lunch and didn't even tell us or tell us we needed to talk to another server there. This was all after we ordered food so we sat there for over 30 minutes waiting for our sushi and kids chicken tempura bowl. We finally got our food after asking another seever to check on our server and food. After that, we wanted to order a little more sushi, we tried to give our form (iykyk) to any server who walked by and he chirpped up with "no no. You have to put the form in the number stand", then walked away. You couldn't have just said that and then took the form, waited another 10 just for someone to pick up the form. Just terrible customer service. It got to the point where we just wanted to leave, didn't even ask for our ayce ice cream and decided we may need to start venturing to other sushi places. So disappointed, especially because we have referred several people to this place. May 3, 2025 - still the best, get all you can eat, take a shot, eat some miso, go now! 6/11/24 - I'm from California, and our sushi is outrageously priced. One roll is $13.95 - $18.95 on average. Coming here and paying $9 - $11 a roll to have fresh and tasty sushi is 1000% a win! This place is worth the adventure to stop in. Have been here now 5 or 6 times, and EVERYTIME, it's been good. We literally drive 3.5 hours just to eat sushi here. The casinos are the bonus, and this is the star. We will see you all soon! Update: This past weekend, we visited our favorite sushi spot again. After our last visit quite a while ago where we had a negative experience due to the staff not listening to our request for a la carte and telling us that we couldn't share, then giving us a bill charging for all you can eat, we returned. This time we ordered a la carte at the bar and they gave us circular dishes that we thought were indications that we were sharing and not ordering all you can eat, but, when we receive the bill, they tried to charge us for all you can eat again! Didn't even verify with us beforehand. Is this a scheme to get patrons to pay the higher priced bill without looking? Very big turn off x2. Food was still amazing though....but is it worth people trying to scam us? We love the sushi here, Drive almost 4 hrs just to come here...discouraging at best. Update! 11/10/23: You guys did us right! Sushi amazing, ordered the Tokyo, Hot Bae, the Jazz, M3, and Mickey Mouse. The bill is correct! Staff was excellent! Thank you! I was really hoping to like this place after reading good reviews. Unfortunately my palette is a little more distinguished. The fish is old and the service was extremely bad. The rolls barely had fish on them.

For AYCE sushi in Reno, I've tried Oceano, Atlantis, Hinoki, Ohana, O'A, Pisces, Kuma, and Sushi Pier over the past couple of years. I finally got around to trying Tokyo, a longtime local favorite. Went on a late Monday night (7:30 PM) -- was pretty much full but no wait for two bar seats, which I prefer so I can chat with the chef, watch them work, and place custom orders. Unfortunately, like Kuma, Tokyo uses paper order sheets even at the bar, which removes much of the interactive experience. Likely this helps with accuracy, especially if music volume or language barriers make communication harder. At least you hand the sheet directly to the chef, who replaces it promptly after each order, so it doesn't slow service. I only had to ask for the sheet once. The fridge on the bar sits so high relative to your seat height, it makes it impossible to watch them make the sushi. So the only real advantage to sitting there is faster order turnaround. The 90s/2000s pop music and large TVs create a lively sports-bar vibe, not a tranquil Japanese setting -- appealing to younger Central Reno crowds and contributing to its popularity as a "hip" sushi spot to go to. The combination of music and packed in large dining room makes the place loud and hard to hear others or talk to the chef without practically shouting. People calling the fish "fresh" is a bit of a misnomer because most all sushi fish comes frozen and the AYCE places use basically the same sources (Atlantic salmon isn't frozen.) So quality often depends on luck-of-the-draw timing which varies by how long ago the fish was thawed as they all will use leftover fish beyond one day. What can really be the differentiator is how well the sushi rice is cooked and seasoned. Many use overly sweet rice appealing to our American palates desensitized to sugar (and salt) and it make diners feel full faster. Tokyo's rice was a bit too sweet for my taste but about average for Reno AYCE which is pretty sweet. Fish quality and selection were also average; nothing unique that other AYCE places don't have. Salmon was a bit mushy like a lot of places. Comparing AYCE fish quality to high-end sushi bars where 4 orders of nigiri equals the AYCE price isn't a fair comparison. ** Where Tokyo excels is in the thickness of its nigiri cuts -- well above average and perfectly balancing the fish-to-rice ratio. Some might find them too thick, but I consider it a plus since you fill up on fish, not sugary rice. I can't comment much on rolls beyond noting the salmon-skin hand roll was good. I rarely eat rolls since most include fake crab (which is Pollock "fish stick" fish with gelatin and red coloring), lots of sauce (usually mayo + eel/teriyaki), and/or deep-fried ingredients, great for the sugar/salt/fat craving and/or those squeamish of lots of raw fish, but effectively burying the flavor of any raw fish. I prefer more unadulterated stuff so I can really taste the fish. They do have a good roll selection. To each their own. Sake is included with the AYCE (free refills) and they have a punch card. Service was adequate but expect long wait times (half hour or more) during peak days/times, especially for groups of 6+. There are no reservations, just a waiting queue app when you get there. Overall, I'd rank Tokyo in my top three AYCE spots for its thick nigiri cuts. If they toned down the rice sweetness, lowered the music volume slightly, and allowed verbal bar orders, it could easily be #1 overall if I didn't count long peak period wait times against it.

Delicious all-you-can-eat sushi for roughly $35 on a weekday. The line was about 15 minutes long. Sat at the bar. Dishes are made fresh in front of you. Everything was delicious. Mussels were my favorite.

This is my favorite Sushi spot when in Reno. The Sushi is always so good and fresh. Service is always on point. They serve nice size rolls and generous portions. I also love the crab roll appetizer. Yum! Great prices Ala Carte or All you can eat. This place is always packed no matter what time of the day you come so it's best to make reservations. Fun and lively atmosphere! Cozy Japanese inspired decor. Accommodating small and large groups.

Tokyo Sushi has long been one of Northern Nevada's most well-known and popular sushi spots. For years, it's been a go-to for locals and visitors alike -- especially for the fun, lively atmosphere. The restaurant always has great energy: upbeat music, a few TVs, a full sushi bar, and every table usually packed. Even when it's busy, the staff does a great job seating guests in a reasonable amount of time. That said, over the past few years, I've noticed a steady decline in the quality and taste of the food. Tokyo Sushi used to be at the very top of the list when it came to freshness and flavor, but recently, the fish just doesn't seem as fresh or vibrant. I'm not sure if this is due to price increases on imports or changes in sourcing, but the difference is noticeable. Prices remain fair and in line with other all-you-can-eat sushi spots in the area, and it's still a solid place to eat -- just not what it once was. Compared to sushi restaurants in Las Vegas, Reno's sushi scene still has some catching up to do. Down south, the fish tastes fresher, the menus are more extensive, and the variety (including high-end cuts and creative non-sushi options) sets a much higher bar. I truly hope Tokyo Sushi -- being one of the pillars of the Reno sushi scene -- finds a way to recapture its former quality and stand out once again. With a little more focus on freshness and innovation, they could easily reclaim their spot at the top.

I really like this sushi here. It's very fresh and there is quite a variety to choose from. If you ask for something custom, they will make it for you. Service is great. If you come for dinner come early because they really get busy. And busy is good.

Tokyo Sushi is easily the best sushi spot in Reno absolutely no question about it! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome, and the service is consistently fast, friendly, and attentive. The sushi itself is unbeatable: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly bite-sized so you can enjoy every roll without feeling overstuffed. My personal favorites are the Tokyo Roll and the M3 Roll as both are packed with flavor and balance beautifully between texture and taste. Listen, listen, listen, the sushi here will be the best you've had in the area. The cuts are precise, the fish is fresh, especially the salmon, and the variety of rolls is exceptional. Ask for hamachi underbelly, it will melt in your mouth. The service, if improved upon, would make this an easy 5 stars. Come still, don't get me wrong, come, just expect to have to wait after your first orders for all you can eat, and sometimes you get forgotten.

It's a 5 for me imo. Tried a handful of sushi spots in Reno and this one right here, TOKYO SUSHI, is best in town. That's just me. From atmosphere, customer service, and overall quality of food, you just cant beat it. Best All you can eat sushi hands down, slide thru you won't be disappointed.

Truly the best sushi i had in reno so far, price is decent. Food is absolutely fantastic. The service was a 10 out of 10. Decent amount of seating, so don't let the exterior of the facility fool you, if you have been hesitating on trying this place out, this is your sign to try them out.

Everything tasted excellent. They had a special for AYCE diners and I ordered a baked Salmon Kama (salmon collar so not technically sushi). I would come back with friends!

This place is always packed -- and for good reason. The vibe is loud & fun, with no online or phone reservations, but a nifty "hold your place in line" system. So come early & be ready to wait. For a party of 4 at 6pm, we waited 20 mins. What we ordered: Apps: Baked & unbaked mussels, crab balls, cucumber salad, edamame, miso soup, fried jalapeño, yakiton Rolls & Mains: Spicy Pepper, Lion King, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Tahoe Hand Roll, snow hand roll, various nigiri Drinks: Quail egg shooters, unlimited hot sake (which our server shared was on AYCE Thursdays ) Hits: Baked mussels - rich, savory, and addictive Fried jalapeños - crispy, spicy perfection Spicy Pepper & Lion King rolls - full flavor, great texture Unlimited hot sake - obviously Hand rolls - they do not skimp on fish! Misses: Quail egg shooters - too sweet; needs a kick of heat (someone toss a bottle of Tabasco or sriracha over) Tuna - surprisingly didn't taste as "fresh" Parking - the immediate area is extremely limited & you may need to circle around a bit. Loud, lively, and worth the hype -- just skip the sweet shooters and stick with what Tokyo does best: rolls, fried apps, and sake.

My review comes from being a tourist visiting family. Reno has quite large number of ayce sushi places that are not solely Asian buffets. Tokyo Sushi has lunch and dinner options. Lunch was approx $30. So even though one could order indiv. items, it's almost not worthwhile compared to ayce option. Coming from CA, this is an incredible deal! At Tokyo Sushi, you can order everything you want in 1 go-- plates are brought out as they are made. Other places tend to go by rounds to slow down and pace eating. Also, it's noted that any leftovers can be charged per slice or item to prevent over-ordering; I think that's standard for any ayce to prevent too much waste. My sister is vegetarian and she tried to order more apps and felt that the variety was limited. The tempura veggies any any other deep fried items were not made with tempura batter and came out on the heavier, greasier end. But she really like the veggie tempura roll. She was surprised they offered full size rolls; if rolls were half sized, one could order more variety. I ordered a roll (but can't remember the name); basically all rolls start with CA roll fillings, but this one had a zesty lemon citrus flavor added. It was different for me, and my favorite. I am not sushi fish connoisseur, so I didn't really favor the 2 Nigiri options- the rice felt pretty heavy and dense and not separated fluffy grains. The handrolls that had little bay scallops also felt super dense. All servers share and can drop off items, so our original server was totally not friendly, but others were much kinder and welcoming. So service just totally depends, but not anything that really affects eating experience. The majority of sushi guys behind the bar are not Japanese (so not trained Japanese sushi chefs), so this is not the place if you're looking for 100 authentic sushi Japanese standards. This place satisfies the general public's taste for more affordable and fresh sushi. I highly recommend ayce options here!

One thing I shall do while in Reno is eat sushi. Tokyo has been my go-to with my friends for a while now so I'll just say this is now our spot. The sushi was great as always. With my last visit I tried a quail egg shooter for the first time and survived. I never order wine while doing AYCE but I have to say the pour is a generous amount. Nonetheless, all appetizers were great as usual. I've been getting into nigiri more often these days and my sis and I couldn't get enough of the Donald Duck! It's so yummy. Huge s/o to our wonderful bar attendant Erick for providing such great service & a quality experience. Also, thank you for giving us some pointers on the quail egg shooters! Good food, decent prices, and good vibes! Go try!

Great AYCE sushi spot, just outside nearby the Peppermill casino!! Arrived on a Sunday evening at around d 5:30 and the place was packed. Nevertheless joined the waitlist and were quickly seated within 20-25 minutes. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Upon checking, they hand you a menu sheet where you can go through and elect how many of each item you want for everything from starters to desert. This is especially helpful if ordering items that require cooking and take longer!! The food was fantastic, the fish tasted fresh, the long rolls were the perfect portion size (one bite wonders) and the green tea ice cream at the end was the perfect finish. Highly recommend checking out this spot!!

Finishing up birthday celebration with AYCE sushi after a challenging escape room we worked up an appetite. Extremely busy with a full house. Lots of people enjoying their meals. They do a great job managing the flow and turn tables quickly with proper staffing. Good food, quality fish, fast service ! Sincerely appreciate Marie and Jen remembering to acknowledge my son's birthday with several workers singing and dessert.

Will always recommend Tokyo when anyone asks where to go for sushi in Reno! It's one of the few on the list I will go to for sushi in town.

To say Tokyo Sushi is your typical parking lot sushi is a bit of a misnomer. It's pretty good sushi and they bring it out, quickly. Almost $30 for AYCE is a bit steep. I guess that's the way of the world. It's crowded. We only waited 30 minutes. Communication was tricky; partly because I'm old and can't hear very well. You can guess the rest. A big Sushi turnoff is stuffing with crab meat or rice. Happy to report that they do neither. Everything tasted fresh and it was all edible At least we didn't need to make reservations, although maybe it would help. The service is fast and parking plentiful. No problems with the food.

Tokyo Sushi lost our family's business today. We've been loyal customers, but their rigid unwritten policy ruined our experience. After a medical procedure, I can't eat much, so I wanted to order a la carte sushi while my family got AYCE. The waitress insisted I could only order a la carte and wasn't allowed sushi, despite my explanation. No effort was made to accommodate us. My wife was so upset we left. This was never an issue before, but now they've lost a $140+ check. Sushi Pier welcomed us without hassle. Won't be returning to Tokyo Sushi.

Stopped by Tokyo Sushi with my coworkers for a quick lunch. The food was good and came out fast, which was nice! Not sure it'll be a regular spot for me, but I'd consider going back to try something different next time.

I would rate this place 3.5 stars if I could. I ordered a large order to go and scheduled it about three hours prior. I arrived a few minutes earlier to pick it up. About 35 minutes later, I received my order. I was pretty irritated because I'm pretty sure they started making my order when I arrived. They were semi busy but, service was blah. Only redemption is that the sushi were good and tasty. I don't know if I'm going to do that again though.

I have never been here before. Came to meet up with some friends and they wanted all you can eat and I just wanted to order a single roll. The waitress told me I could either get all you can eat or not as the rest of the table was getting all you can eat....talked to the manager and they said the same thing. Music is way too loud. I was here on a business trip, and I chose this for a team lunch. It's unassuming from the outside, but inside looks like a traditional sushi bar. There is ample seating, and even during lunch we got seated quickly. Service was pretty fast, and we opted to go for the à la carte menu rather than all you can eat. We figured to make all you can eat worth it. Everyone would need to eat about three rolls, and we weren't that confident in our ability to do so. We ordered edamame and cucumber salad and House salad as appetizers. All of these were good. We also got the Agada tofu, which was a little bit more crispy than I'm used to. The sushi rolls were abundant on the menu, though it seems like most of them had really similar bases, with a lot of them being snowflake, crap or crab salad. We ordered a few of these, and they all tasted really similar and mayonnaise - forward. We also got some Baked rolls like the Oishi roll, which was a crowd favorite. My personal favorite was the eel Nigiri, which had some Unagi sauce, but was mainly just rice and eel. This is the only role where I really felt. I tasted the flavor of the fish over the flavor of the sauces. I would definitely come back, but I would be a little bit more strategic about what I'm ordering. There was a lot less differentiation between the roles than I expected.

Ordered the to-go dinner for $31.95 because the restaurant was packed on Friday night for dinner. We had to wait 40 mins to get our food after my husband asked about it several times. The portion was small for each item. Not worth the wait for us. - Agedashi tofu: thin 3 slices of tofu but tasted ok. - Calamari tempura: overcooked & tasted like store bought - Hawaii roll: good roll - Carson city roll: our favorite. The mango gave refreshing taste to the sushi. - Crystal shrimp roll: decent sushi. The shrimp tempura was very small but the sushi tasted ok. - Mickey mouse nigiri: tuna tasted fishy for me - Donald duck nigiri: salmon was ok

Really good sushi, but it sometimes takes a long time to get your food. I would go more, but they don't take reservations and since it's a popular place you may have to wait a long time to get in.

Tokyo Sushi is definitely one of the classic sushi places in Reno that you can't go wrong with. The parking lot is kind of old, and has some pot holes and cracks, so be careful when you are walking in it, especially at night. The lot will be full at peak times. Tokyo Sushi does not take reservations, but they do have a wait list if your entire party is there. So you won't be able to try to get a seat in advance if you're waiting on a few people from your party. They have tables, booths, and seats at the bar too. Every roll I've had here is great! Some I had were the Tokyo Roll of course, MT, Hot Bae, Midtown, but you cant go wrong with any of their raw long rolls, which is what I usually order. I also enjoy the mussels. The baked ones are SO good! The service was fast, even as a party of six ordering a lot of rolls! I also enjoyed the Huckleberry ice cream, which you don't usually find as an option for All You Can Eat.

first time here not a lot of parking spots, but you will find a spot this place gets poppin and busy for dinner recommended to go early food was good for the price for all you can eat AYCE the basked muscles were great, i would order 3 plates boiled muscles were good too if you like the lighter taste quail egg shot was interesting, probably a one time try out of all the sashimi with rice, unagi was the perfect size but had a flavor and texture, probably the best on out of the dish i usually like salmon, but the unagi stole the night the rest were mediocre the octopus is for those that like chewy texture and strong jaws fun place to have AYCE sushi will be back sometime in the future!

Sushi is delicious but the wait is ridiculous. I love going there but it's rare now due to the waiting times that vary between 45min-1 1/2. They do have the best baked mussels in town! Always busy and loud in there, which I don't mind much to be honest. Also like the fish tank they have in there and joke with my mom not to play with her food when she goes to look at them

Food is good although sometimes you get lukewarm fish. Yeah, sometimes it's room temperature. Overall good food tho. Service is awful nearly every time we come. Inconsistent service and rude waitresses. The male waiters seem to be more consistent. If you are seated you may or may not get your meal well after other patrons have gotten theirs even though you were seated well before them. The service is awful.

Look ya'll know I don't TRY TO BE A JERK ON HERE, IT TAKES A LOT FOR ME TO BE PUSHED, BUT...... Went for lunch today. Beautiful establishment. Food came out fairly quickly. Service however, left a lot to be desired. The manger was extremely unprofessional and down right rude! We found a baby crab in our mussels, not just once but multiple times on the same plate. I realize that this can be a common occurance, however if you look at the picture, it looks like there is MUCH more going on within my food than there should be. The manger's answer to accomodating our party of 4 was oh I will give you a discount of 30% off of 1 order. We literally hadn't even been brought ANY ROLLS yet. Needless to say, we STOPPED eating and paid our entire bill after the manager came back and practically slammed our bill on the table, stating that she had accomodated us adequately.

Always enjoy eating at Tokyo Sushi. I order lots of mussels of both varieties : grilled and baked. Fish is fresh, great options for long rolls. Also accommodating and can order custom sushi hand rolls such as salmon skin with octopus.

Ripped up booth cut my legs wearing a dress and rude server saying manger is in and all rice will be charged. Excuse me?

We arrived with 8 people and were seated right away... I'm blown away by how well they bring so many rolls so quickly and how good the sushi rolls are! My new favorite is the crazy monkey... I'm sure it will be a different one next visit. The servers are quick to remove empty plates and fill them up just as quickly. I don't like that they automatically add the tip and don't tell you but we figured it all out. The location is a little hard to park and I notice some empty office space looking a little bit sketchy but all in all a good solid sushi experience.

Worked up an appetite on the way to Reno, glad to see the abundance of ayce places in the area. Food was decent, each roll and nigiri was smaller than usual so they're more like mini bites imo. They have a decent selection from appetizers to rolls to nigiri. Service is fast and pleasant.

The baked muscles are the best in Reno! My second favorite place for ayce sushi in Reno. Great flavors and selections. Every-time we choose to go there, the place is packed

THIS PLACE IS TOP 3 of the best restaurants in town when it comes to sushi. The food is amazing, the service is top tier, & the ambiance is pretty decent as well! This place put me onto my sushi addiction & I can't get enough. It's usually super busy so make sure you call ahead for a reservation. My family went during lunch time on a Tuesday. The food was great but the service was horrendous. We would order one round of food for everyone then sit at least 10 minutes before anyone came by again to check. It was so awkward sitting there with no food multiple waiting for someone to give us a new sheet. The water and water based drinks tasted like there was chlorine in them. This place is so off, I will not be back.

On entry I was a bit put off by all the ridiculous signs Scotch taped to things. There's actually an entire rules sheet scrappingly Scotch taped onto the back of the cash register. There's one of those we refuse the right to serve you signs and at least a half dozen other unnecessary photocopied scraps of paper. The wait was around 25 minutes. But my friend was hell-bent on sushi, so we stuck it out. In the end, I was quite pleased. For around $85 the two of us had the all you can eat which included not just sushi but calamari and tempura and about every variation of raw and cooked fish. Everything we had tasted great. And the service was also very good. All you had to do was leave the menu form filled out on the little stand and the waiter would pick it up and you'd have new food within a few minutes. I guess the cheap signs speak to the low end ambience. But all in all the restaurant seemed clean. The restaurant does not have good curb appeal. From the outside it actually looks like somewhere you wouldn't want to eat. In the end, we left quite pleased with the food and the service. This restaurant is very convenient to the element Marriott hotel across the street, easy walking distance.

First time eating here, and I was not impressed. I had so many people telling me that they had really good sushi. Im going to say.. I've had better. The sushi rolls are very small. They make them so small that they want you to order more and more rolls. And we always end our meals with the quail egg shooter. Im not a fan! Not to mention, they play the music so loud, that you actually hear every conversation in the room. So chances are we won't be returning..

If you're an all you can eat sushi lover, this is the place for you. The wait time can be long tho since this is a very popular place for sushi all you can eat. The staffs are friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The fish here are incredibly delicious. I always order Star fish and Snow hand roll. I can eat 2 of them myself. It's perfect balance of creativity and taste. Rice is very well cooked not like some of the other sushi restaurants that rice are half cooked. If you're looking for an authentic and memorable sushi experience, look no further. I can't wait to come back!

Efficient, clean, and delicious!! Hands down the best AYCE sushi in reno!! First off they are efficient! If there is a line you would have to put your name down on the wait list and wait outside. However, this time we came in just in time before the dinner rush (4pm) Their host and servers have excellent customer service! They always came around to check on us, asked if we needed a refill, and our food came out quickly. But of course it's the food that keeps bringing us back! They have different tasty flavors to their specilairty rolls, fresh fish which is why we love their nigiris, and packed handrolls with the right fish to rice ratio. MUST HAVES: - specialty nigiris (ie, Daffy duck) - Hawaiian roll, Futomaki -polar bear Hand roll

$34 for ayce sushi is a Great price, good service. The sushi is fresh and delicious. They have various type of sushi and also dessert

Tokyo Sushi continues to be a household sushi bar here in Reno, NV. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the rolls may not always be consistent which is why I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars instead but the rolls here are delicious and packed with that umami. The staff is attentive to your needs and the rolls come fairly quick, I also have appreciated the warmth that the place feels instead of a brightly lit sushi bar it feels cozy inside. Be warned tho on weekends especially expecting to wait to grab a table but it is worth it to get yourself some of the best sushi in Reno!

Happy to say I understand now why Tokyo Sushi is one of my daughters favs. Everything was super tasty but the real standout? The mussels! The muscles were absolutely incredible--perfectly cooked, tender, and topped with the most delicious, savory sauce that had just the right balance of richness and taste to make mouth go berserk! The ambiance was nice and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a great sushi meal. If you're a seafood lover, do yourself a favor and try the mussels--you won't regret it! I'll definitely be back.

Our favorite sushi spot. It's very popular and they don't take reservations. So usually a 30 minute to 1 hour wait, once you check in in person. Their baked muscles are delicious and the Snow White is our favorite long roll. The amount of diversity in their rolls is where they excel. Reno is known for their sushi. All you can eat. And this is the most flavorful. Rolls are a little large with a bit much rice but again worth it. The ambiance is like any other sushi restaurant in town, loud with how many people are here. It is a large room. So don't expect one on one special service like omasake.

I came here just wanting to order ONE sushi roll, but apparently that's not allowed. They force everyone at the table to pay for the full all-you-can-eat menu, even if you don't want it. Nowhere on the menu, the walls, or anywhere in the restaurant is this policy written. When I asked the server about it, she was rude and gave no explanation at all. On top of that, I wasn't even allowed to order anything, so I had to just sit there and watch my family eat. Terrible customer service and unfair pricing practices. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Great sushi with lots of options. There typically is a line out the door. Worth the wait. You can do all you can eat (everyone at the table has to) or individual items. Price per rolls are very reasonable.

Top quality all you can eat sushi for a great price. Service is great. Such a great place to eat with great company.
