mbience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices. Overall This experience was very frustrating from start to finish and made the entire meal feel unpleasant. The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years.

Visited Little Saigon and had a mixed experience. We waited to be seated, and once we sat down there was another wait before anyone came by—looked like one very hard-working waitress trying to cover the whole restaurant, and I didn’t see many tables getting checked on. That said, when the food finally arrived it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cooked—fragrant herbs, rich, balanced flavors, and dishes that tasted homemade and comforting. The kitchen is clearly doing excellent work.I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. I’m hoping they add another server during busy times, because the food deserves service that matches its quality. Overall: slower service due to understaffing, but fantastic, delicious food that made the experience worthwhile.

We can 8n for dinner.on a Sunday evening. We waited a few minutes to be seated. The waitress told us to go sit at table number 8 as she pointed to a table in another room. We looked a little confused because it was our first time in and am not familiar with the place. We went and found table number 8. After we ordered our food it came out promptly. We ordered an A1 egg rolls and P12 and P13 which is pho soup. The food was delicious. This was the best pho we have had in a while. The atmosphere wasnt that great due to a party of four who were on the you ger side and loud. There also isn't any ambience music to drown out other people talking. The servers did stop by and ask how the meal was going, that was nice. Once they brought the check they took a little too long to come pick up the card even thou I put my card out right away. Overall, the good is delicious and I recommend this place for pho.

I’ve been here a few times now, and brought my fiancé with me to introduce her to little Saigon. She felt the same way I did, from the moment you walk in. It’s a nice, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The decor almost feels like we’re eating at their house. Both of our waiters were great and constantly checking up on us. For starters we had their delicious fried egg rolls and some tea. We had rice noodle with pork and grilled shrimp with fried rice for our mains and everything was so good. We couldn’t finish our plates because of the portions they give. It’s a lot of food! I’d been here years and years ago when I worked nearby and decided to head back over this weekend to see if it was still just as delicious. We arrived about 4pm and were pleased to be seated right away. The location is pretty small, but feels pretty open. Service is great and we didn’t have to ask for a thing our entire meal. We started with eggs rolls which I loved. They came with fresh veggies and such to wrap them with. We all were craving pho so we ordered two beef and shrimp and one with chicken. Everything came out pretty quick and the portions were huge. The broth was amazing and the fresh veggies added made it even better. We can’t wait to come again and try a few other dishes.

A cute little pho spot in Glendale. I noticed they had many different types of dishes. I would love to try some of their stir fry noodles next time. Great service. I order pho with beef brisket and I added tripe. It was delicious. The soup came out hot which I loved because when you add the sprouts it cools down. For appetizer I order spring rolls! We had a good experience at this restaurant. It’s a cozy little place, very calm atmosphere, their food was good. I recommend the shrimp pho and the spring rolls. Some of the portions are not very big but they are satisfying. I will come back!

Stopped there after a long weekend of drinking, it was delicious and cured my hangover 100% will go back again if im in the area. Good portions, reasonable price and great flavor

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. The pho took a little linger to get than most other places, or perhaps they were waiting for us to eat our appetizer. 1. The meat was not as plentiful as the majority of other pho places which was a little disappointing, however, 2. The pho broth was obviously home made with live, not a bullion based pho. Although it could have used more star anise IMO. 3, the place while small as most pho places are, it didn't feel that way. I did NOT feel like i was elbows touching other dinners as many other pho places are. As a bigger woman i did NoT feel like i had to squeeze by other tables. 4. The staff were very pleasant and we did not have to wait for refills. And they handled special requests such as no onion garnishes on my soup were pleasantly handled. Even when I asked for a teaspoon of their spring roll sauce so that I could see what it was like for next time they had no problems with. It was a little dark, but I was still able to read the menu. And the darkness was actually comforting after being out in the Phoenix Sun. 5. The music was a nice level, we could talk across the table and NOT feel like we had to yell. I would suggest to the owners to either get rid of or take care of your fish tank better. I felt bad for the 1-2 fish inside it. The water was cloudy and probably needed a water change or the filtration changed out. And the inside glass needed cleaning for beginning of algae. It could have been a nice feature, but instead looks like a neglected decor afterthought. 6. I would come here again, especially if you want a sit down experience, or are brining guests and you wont feel rushed.

3.5 Ventured here for dinner on a Saturday night. Wasn't really busy but we sat in the entry way for a good 10 mins before someone finally came out to seat us. It's in an old house so it really felt like you were having dinner at a relatives house. They have a large menu and good variety of choices. We ordered: Spring rolls: very good. Freshly made to order. Pork was well marinated in lemongrass. Egg rolls: on the smaller side but made it easier to eat. Served with lettuce and herbs. Very good. Banh xeo: almost identical to my moms. Just wish it was more crispy. Beef pho: served HOT which I appreciate. broth was very clear and lacked much flavor. Noodles were overcooked and mushy. Little beef. Just okay. Loaded with msg. Because I could feel it after eating. Complaints are: Everything came out at one time. Service was very slow. Only two people working from what I could see. I feel we spent more time waiting for our check than we did eating. But I would go back to try other dishes.

We stopped in after walking around downtown, a great little house converted into a restaurant. We tried two of the middle salads, the beef and shrimp pho, and the potstickers. Everything had layers of flavor but the potstickers were by far the winner of the meal. They were almost like Vietnamese pierogi. We will 100% be back!

We met friends for dinner at Little Saigon. We were greeted and seated right away. Little Saigon is located in a cute little house in Glendale. There are three different rooms for customers to eat. We decided on two orders of shrimp, vermicelli, pork, vermicelli, and rice with stir fry vegetables and beef. Usually, we get the fish sauce first for the vermicelli noodles. This time our main entrées came with no sauce. We asked for the sauce and one bowl came out. Again we had to ask for two more bowls of sauce. Weird, this was the first time this has happened. I guess staff were a little off and busy tonight. I still give them five stars for the meal, which was delicious. The shrimp were grilled perfectly. It was a nice evening. Free street parking.

I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and authentic the dishes were. We were on a road trip from California (where there are plentiful GOOD Asian restaurants) so I was apprehensive of having Vietnamese food in Arizona. But, we were hungry and tired and decided to stop here. The menu was extensive and the restaurant was quaint. I ordered the Goi Ga, Hu tieu Ap Chao, and Bo La lop/nho (uncommon dish to find in many viet restaurants and usually made for parties at home) and each dish was tasty with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend this place!

I did not expect to be able to find good Vietnamese food in Phoenix. Boy was I proved wrong. Everything was excellent with very fresh vegetables and perfect balance of spices. Not too oily and very flavorful. For our non-adventurous eater, we were able to get a beef stir-fry with veggies. The rest of us loved the cumin spiced fish specialty dish, spring rolls (excellent), pork belly, and the crepe was delicious as well. Finally, the service was excellent. The ambiance was classy (great place to take your mom!). Nice clean bathrooms and a not too bright lighting. So all in all a very pleasant experience.

All these years later and still just as amazing. We came for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised or be seated right away. We started with egg rolls and then all three of us ended up ordering pho, two beef and shrimp and one with chicken. The flavors were awesome and veggies fresh. Service was great and we had no issues at all.

I love the ambiance of this place. I made a slight change to my Springfield roll order, no problem. The food arrived at the table pretty quickly, considering the account of customers. I will definitely visit again soon! The restaurant can accommodate large groups. Great place for date night. There's outdoor/indoor seating available. Accessible parking and entrance.

What a charming little Vietnamese restaurant @littlesaigonaz inside of an old house in historic downtown Glendale @historicdowntownglendale . With several different rooms tucked away throughout the restaurant, we were given a sense of privacy and intimacy. There's a large patio out front under a huge, old tree that I would love to sit under when the weather is cooler to watch shoppers walk by on the quiet downtown street. At night, the exterior and patio are lit up with colorful Christmas lights for a warm, welcoming feel. My daughter and Hubs came by last week for dinner after acupuncture across the street and came home raving about the delicious spicy chicken dish and pho. We all wanted to return this Wednesday and try dinner. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. We were sat at a large round table in the main room near the register. We ordered: - 03. CARI GA coconut curry chicken with potatoes, carrots & onions - 04. GÀ XÀO THẬP CẨM CAY spicy chicken stir-fried with mixed vegetables - D11. BO CUON LÁ NHO marinated beef wrapped in grape leaves with roll-it-yourself rice paper - R1. BÚN THỊT HEO NƯỚNG grilled pork Vermicelli Salad Bowl, add egg roll - P4. PHỞ TÁI BÒ VIÊN sliced beef & beef meatballs Pho x2 - TRÀ NÓNG hot jasmine tea for 2 - TRÀ THAI Thai tea My daughter really loved their Thai tea. Hubs and my other daughter said the pho was outstanding last night. I enjoyed every bite of my chicken curry dish with a side of veggies subbed for rice. It was spicy and flavorful, but not so much that I couldn't handle it and the vegetables were steamed just right. I was definitely sweating at the end of the meal in a good way.

Went here after my daughter's game, and wow--I can see why this place has such high reviews! The food was absolutely delicious--one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in a long time. My wife and daughters all enjoyed their meals. We loved the variety of seafood, chicken, and beef options. My daughter ordered the beef pho, and it was fantastic. Great food, great experience--we're already looking forward to coming back soon!

Great service from San the moment we walked in. A very cute, homey and clean establishment tucked in Downtown Glendale. San took great care of us and we were ultimately happy with our meal! We ordered the beef pho and it was flavorful and came out quickly. I had a small issue with the lemongrass chicken but Kathy took care of it and was so sweet and helpful! Will for sure come again.

A delightful little hidden gem in downtown Glendale! We went on a Saturday at 1 PM and got right in with no wait. We had the rice noodle salad with shrimp and it was incredible! The shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the dressing that went over the noodle salad was fresh and bright, and you could add a little spice with the chili, which made it perfect! Highly highly recommend it was super delicious

Came here with my friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Comfortable homey cozy restaurant! Service went excellent and smooth. I ordered the beef, brisket with meatballs and tripe.. 3/5 for broth. The shrimp salad was delicious. It came with a unique round chip that you can eat it with. Great meal

I'm so glad we found this little gem. The ambiance feels very nostalgic and the pho is incredible! The vermicelli bowls are equally delicious. The team work together to give great service. We love coming here!

The options are limited but different than you might find which is why we tried it. Id like to try more of the menu but will probably just order to go. They were not busy but we still waited over 15 minutes and no one greeted us. Inside it was uncomfortably warm which made it difficult to enjoy the food. By the time we were served we were ready to just get out of there. Dining will likely be more comfortable in the fall and winter since it's an older building but they also don't allow seating on the patio which is a waste because it's actually really nice and covered by trees. They have a lot of potential but it's not really being used. Id love to see this place better managed and made to be more comfortable and inviting.

The best kept secret in old Town glendale az. I've been coming here for a very, very long time. Food is consistently good. I've known the chef for a long time. Time to revisit my old friends. Thanks for all the good times.

Tried this place Saturday night and it did not disappoint. For the appetizer we ordered the spring rolls. I like that they include veggies on the side, so you can wrap it with lettuce and cucumber. For the entree, I had the chicken curry with white rice. My favorite part was the carrots, they were so delicious. The sauce was thick and flavorful. The entire meal was a 5/5. There was no wait when we arrived at 7:30pm. The server was very friendly and prompt. Having the restaurant inside of a house makes it feels homey. Downtown Glendale is full of little gems.

Okay good, great service. Please clean the old STICKY tables and condiments on the table after each guest or a good cleaning every day.

Their pho is very good and I can't get enough of the potstickers ! I have been twice in the last two weeks and definitely plan on returning soon. -1 only because they have Mr.Pibb rather than Dr.Pepper. Very cozy place, can't wait for it to get chilly to enjoy even more.

What a great spot! I came here with my coworkers and I was excited to eat Vietnamese food - I haven't had pho in a while. Although the menu was large and they had a lot to offer, I ordered the Chicken Pho and asked about the broth, which is beef. Our waiter shared he could also use chicken broth, so I opted for that even though beef is okay with me (just not pork). They do offer a vegan bowl and vegan broth which is accommodating. My bowl was large and plentiful. I received the plate of topping prior to the bowl which included the standard basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, sliced jalapeños, and lime. Everything was delicious! I finished my pho and was not overly full, which was good. My lunch companions all seemed to enjoy their dishes as well, as they ordered rice vermicelli bowls with shrimp and tofu, tofu curry and plates, spicy chicken, and spring rolls. Service was efficient and friendly considering our large group, which is always appreciated. I love the atmosphere here of an older, cozy house and there's a nice patio and plants outside for when the weather is cooler. I'd like to come back and try some additional menu items!

Been out in AZ for over a year now and have been on the hunt for authentic VIETNAMESE food and this is pretty LEGIT! It's a bit of a drive for us but don't mind if food is good. Very cuute place that appears to be a traditional home made into a cozy restaurant. Restaurant was clean and it wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon . We were quickly greeted by a very sweet young lady who said we could sit anywhere we liked, we chose a quiet room off to the side. Decided to start off with egg rolls and viet coffee . To our surprise, both very good and fresh! I went with a beef pho and hubby went with lemon grass pork with vermicelli ..We were very satisfied with our dishes as this is as close as it gets to homemade VIET dishes as we can get! Quality, Freshness, Authenticity, and Yumminess spot on Only wished there were more herbs provided for pho and rice noodle wasn't overcooked. Other than that the broth was very delicious! We will def be frequent customers!! So glad we came across you on YELP! We inhaled our dishes so no pics avail

This place is a little hidden gem! In town and pulled up Yelp and was luck to come upon this little jewel. It's tucked off a side street in old town Glendale. From what I saw it's street parking only. It's a small building with twinkle lights and a cute front patio that I found endearing. Walking in you were hit with a delicious smell of spices and we knew we were in for a treat. We were seated immediately in a side room with 2 other couples and given menus. We did have to wait a few minutes for someone to return...not sure if it was because they were busy or something else, but once we ordered everything came quickly. Honestly, I can say these were the best spring rolls I've ever had! The pork that was inside was super flavorful and the rest of the ingredients were fresh and crunchy. I immediately regretted not ordering more. After that, it was on to our pho. Really amazing broth and great chicken. Honestly? Top 3 phos I've ever had! Definitely want to return next time I'm in town!

Good food with decent service I had the pho and I am not a pho nor soup fan. I actually quite enjoyed it. I do still prefer ramen but this was really flavorful. They give you a plateful of veggies you can put in your soup, i recommend adding it as soon as the soup arrives so it can cook a lil bit. There is also hoisin sauce and siracha on the table if you want a sweetness or spiciness to it.

My parents and I visited here during time in Phoenix and were amazed with the quality of service. Our waiter was so kind and gave us wonderful menu recommendations. All the dishes we tried were delicious and the atmosphere of the small restaurant was cozy and inviting. Hope to return soon!

Came for lunch on Thursday at 11:30am. Been quite awhile since I've been here last so I needed to fix that. We were the only patrons so we were immediately seated. Quick glance at the menu and went with the Egg Rolls, Pho Ap Chao, and the Caramelized Catfish. Flipping delicious! Every dish was fricking good! My favorite was the catfish! Wanted to lick the claypot clean just to give an idea. Food came out quickly and service was good. They are consistent with food quality and service. Definitely recommend!

Have gone twice. Service is great. Loved the tofu and mixed vegetables. I could seriously eat it every day! My friend also loved the coconut curry with tofu. I may try other dishes in the future, but I would also have to get the tofu and mixed vegetables to go So I wouldn't feel like I was missing out.

Just came to visit AZ and wanted some Vietnamese food and found this place in downtown Glendale. The staff was really nice and very surprisingly the food came out so fast! The spring roll was good but the wrap was a little on the tougher side. The vermicelli pork bowl was pretty good and the portion was pretty big as well. The chicken pho was okay. The noodles could have been better but overall a pretty good Asian/ Vietnamese place to come in the area!

I've been going here with my friends for over 4 years already, my mom introduced me to the place. I always loved going here, the food is really good and the service was good, so I thought. Whenever I came here with my friends we always go during the week (we go multiple times a year) but this time we went on the weekend. I don't know if they have different staff for the weekends or if they recently got a whole new staff team but last week we noticed that the whole staff was completely different. We were seated and our waitress seemed sweet at first but then she made weird comments. For example, I was asking about a dish and I guess I asked too much questions because after I ordered and my friend did as well, she told my friend "I can already tell you're my favorite" and then just walked away. My friend looked at me and was like "I don't think that was necessary.." Fine, I brushed it off whatever but then the waitress just had an attitude the whole time after that. Like I said, we've been coming here for around four years already so we were familiar with the place and how things run so when we asked the waitress to split the checks and to split the appetizer between us three she quickly said "Oh I can't do that" but I literally have gone to this place so much and they have never told me that before, so was it that she couldn't do it or that she didn't want to? The food is amazing here, I won't lie, but for the first time in 4 years, I experienced horrible customer service. Definitely going to have to really think about it if I ever want to come here again in the future, which sucks as a long time customer.

I don't know where to begin but it's my family's new favorite spot to get pho :) The service is great, our server Luan was very nice and despite it being busy he was taking care of everyone! Found this local favorite by pure luck! And wow! The food is packed with delicious flavor. I understand why people come here and you will too. Building looks to be a home converted into a restaurant but don't let that stop you. They are great at take out. Food is nicely packaged. I wish I could remember the exact numbers of the menu items we ordered but it was all delicious. Had no idea this little restaurant was voted best of Phoenix by New Times. They definitely earned my vote. Our server was quick to recommend dishes for us to try. Nice quick and courteous. We will definitely be back. Enjoy and thank me later!

Came here for late lunch for the first time couple weeks ago with a friend at 2:00 pm, OMG we waited for 46 minutes to be exact! I talked to one of the waiters, why it's take so long to get a table and there were few tables available ? His answer was, ''we do our best '' really! The food was good actually, so the 3 stars is for the food.

Best Gyoza dumplings. I surmise these are actual made at the restaurant. Some of the best I have ever tasted. Good service, can be slow at usual peak times. Pho was decent, no complaints , I prefer meatballs to be char broiled, which is not the case on their menu.

Cute little Vietnamese place .. I found it on Yelp and drove right past it. It's housed in a cute little house with a white picket fence, i wasn't expecting it! Walked in put my name on the list and was seated quickly in one of the rooms, every other table is occupied for social distancing. I ordered the vermicelli bowl with pork and added shrimp for $3. Well worth the it.. the shrimp were butterflied and were grilled nicely adding a tasty bite to my bowl. Pho, spring rolls, vegetarian options, rice bowls, seafood, tea & boba drinks also available. Good food, good service. Park on the street not in the lot next door.
