We came here for the moon jelly fish!! It was a very nice weather day! Would recommend if you like to be kayaking with your pet!! Pretty beginner friendly!

Google
Fun time and AMAZING staff! I've kayaked a few times but recently went with my sister to try paddleboarding for the first time. If you're a first timer, they do make you watch the safety video and do a little instructor class (like less than 10 min) so they can make sure you know what you're doing once you get away from the kayak place. My sister had surgery on her knee and wasn't sure she's be able to do it but this awesome guy helping us took some extra time going over some more comfortable stances or positions for her and even gave her an extra life vest to pad her knee. I thought it was super sweet because he really wanted my sister to be able to enjoy her time out there. Their website does a great job explaining payment, reservations, waivers, prices, etc. A good chunk of this stuff can be done ahead of time making your check-in process a lot quicker so you can get out on the water. Pet Friendly?: Yes! 🐶👍 I was able to bring my dog with me to kayak! I did bring his own life jacket though so plan accordingly.

It was my husbands and I first time kayaking! It was so much fun! We went in a large group of 20 people. Price is great! $14 per person! The two gentlemen that assisted us were kind and helpful. Definitely will go again!

This was my first time kayaking, the employees were super helpful and friendly

ALL MY CREDIT CARDS WERE STOLEN! Kayaked here a week ago, 9/11/25. While we were kayaking someone unlocked the trunk of our car, took out my purse and stole my credit cards! Filed a police report immediately. Ironically it’s the policy of this establishment that you either leave your ID or car keys while you kayak. I recommend neither.

Google
Great spot to kayak for beginners. Pretty inexpensive. The price is about $14 and hour per person. My 9 and 10 year old were able to navigate and kayak here without issue. The only thing I would caution is there are small boats in the channels so you have to be careful near that area

Google
Is it a super fun place to go. I 100% recommend kayak. Don't forget to take any trash you see there. Let's keep clean our ocean 💙

Google
Easy process to get on the water, only $12 per person per hour. My adult daughter and I spent a couple of wonderful hours kayaking in placid waters and warm sun. The area is not all nature and natural, but there are lots of boats and homes and seagulls along the way. I heard sometimes you might see dolphins but we didn't on our excursion. Maybe next time because we are definitely going back!!! The staff is really cool and laid back.

Yelp
Great first experience at Kayaks on the Water. Once your whole group has arrived you sign a waiver, watch a safety video (you can also watch it online before you arrive), get your gear and go! We had all watched the video already so we were checked in and on the water in under 10 minutes. It's bearing the end of moon jelly season but we were still able to see some and even touch one or two. It's very neat to see them out in the wild, they are beautiful creatures. The water on the canals was fairly calm and it was an easy kayak route. We had a great time!

Yelp
I'm not sure how Kayaks on the Water is related to Stand Up Rentals - either the same business or affiliated but either way, you can kayak or do SUP here. Two of us did SUP yesterday. I had SUP'd about 5 years ago with barely a lesson but Ken's lesson was great. I had watched the video before I went and while I was there but getting on the water for 15 minutes with Ken gave us some real techniques. Seems like a lot at first, but later on you think "Hey I do need make that turn" or "I shouldn't hit that dock"! We then went to the canals which is easy enough (note you go counter-clockwise) and we noted where we went 'in' so we wouldn't be paddling in circles forever. We want to go inland to see the jellyfish albeit I saw one while paddling before the first bridge. Bathrooms close by for changing. I saw lockers with numeric locks on one side of the bathroom but didn't look at them in detail. They will let you store your stuff in their cubbies in the storage area. Grill next door. All in all a great time. Will be back with our SpeedPass!

Yelp
This was such an exciting and amusing activity for anyone! You could go here for a date, with friends, even with family. There were multiple paths that you could explore (see map). The kayaking itself was such a workout that I personally enjoyed. (I barely paddled , my sister did the work) Our arms were definitely toned after almost 2 hours of kayaking. We went during the summer so we were able to see the moon jellies that were swimming there for the season. Staff were all so friendly & helpful with guiding us as to where to go. Only $14 to kayak. $35 to do paddle boarding, although that includes the whole instructor teaching shabang thing PLUS a certificate! All succeeding visits would be $10, per that staff member I spoke with . Might try that next time!

Yelp
This is my second time here...Great place for some kayaks, solo or group, beginner to expert. Friends want to checkout so here we go again. Great neighborhood to do this.

Yelp
First time trying this spot. Loved it. It's affordable and cool area. It's about 2.5 miles to go around the Naples area. The staff was friendly and welcoming too. Highly recommend it.

Yelp
We've used Kayaks on the Water three times at this point, once for a kayak, and twice for a paddle board rental for my wife. For the paddle boards, they work with Stand Up Rentals. The processes are easy, though parking in the area can be rough. Come early! The kayak rental was very affordable at $12 per hour per person. Prices have increased, though, so now it costs $14 per hour per person. The first time you rent a paddle board, it costs about $50 for the hour, and you must complete the orientation. However, with subsequent visits, you get a discount for being in the system, which turns out to be about $26 per hour. The rental equipment is of decent quality and what you would expect over years of daily use. The staff has been friendly with us, and it's great to get out on the water. You launch right there off the beach into the canals! There are restrooms available right on site, as well as outdoor showers to rinse off all the sand on your legs when you're finished. For the convenience, we definitely recommend Kayaks on the Water! Fair warning, though, it can take over an hour to complete the loop for the average paddler.

Yelp
Best place to renew kayaks/SUP boards. Easy check in and you pay for the first hour then by time after (not full hour just by minutes) which is a super good deal. Rental for kayaks was $16/hourly per person June 2025. Simple and efficient the best!
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
We had such a fun time with a lot of arm exercise! They charge $14/ hr. After the first hour, they charge by the minute if under an hour so you don't have to worry about going a whole hour more. We spent 3 hrs. on the water. We're beginners and it took us a little bit to get in tandem with each other. We went to see the jellies that don't sting and you can touch them. They show you where to find them on the map. Afterwards, we kayaked the Naples Canal. On 4th of July, bring big squirt guns for the water fight and prepare to get wet!
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, you can't beat the price for a 1 hour kayak rental at Kayaks on the Water in Belmont Shore! This activity is perfect for a sunny day in Long Beach or if you are visiting the area for fun. You can find this place right next to Grill Em All and park by the outside hockey court and playground on Ocean Blvd or nearby neighborhood. All of the employees are really chill. You watch an instructional video and kayak through the Naples Canal, which is one big loop. A one-person Kayak was my favorite because it was easier for myself. A two-person kayak was much harder because I was the only one paddling from the back, haha. Enjoy, and wear some sunscreen.

Yelp
It was my first time Kayaking, so I was looking for a location that would be beginner friendly. I found this spot online and made a reservation online. On the day of, I decided to check in an hour earlier, and the staff allowed me to proceed. I believe part of the reason was there wasn't other folks on the weekday. For the check-in, it was very quick, mainly because I signed off on the waiver online during the reservation period. I only needed to put on a life vest, take off my shoes, and grab a paddle. The staff gave me some tips on paddling, reminders on the routes, and push the kayak once I was ready. Overall, this made it easy to enjoy my first time kayaking. The price was also reasonable at an hourly rate. Highly recommend this place! There are public restrooms available next to the check-in table. Note: They do accept American Express, despite not including that on their sign.

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Rude rude rude Walked up, asked if I had a reservation or were a member. My son and I usually ride together wanted to try a new place. Looked at me laughed and said you two cannot ride together and so we left. Worst customer service. We go Pirates Coast, and love it. Kids are able to ride with parent.

Yelp
We saw the moon jellyfish. $56 for 2 hrs. we have our own kayak but we didnt know the lock wasnt there so we rented out.

Eliott G.

Yelp
I went July 1st and saw So many moon jellies, it was a lot of fun to see them in a natural habitat.
google avatar

Alana K.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a Thursday morning. We rented a two-person kayak and set out to see the canals. We were able to lock up our bags at the desk and leave our shoes in a cubby, which was much appreciated. There wasn't too much information provided (other than the mandatory safety video to watch before you get in the boat), but the staff member was nice. And only $12/hour, too!
google avatar

Alana S.

Yelp
I had such a great time! It was my first time and my arms were killing afterwards but would absolutely do it again. The price is really the best I have seen. A lot of other places are overpriced. It was jelly fish season when we went but I couldn't make it out that far to see it but still cool, I was able to see other little swimming critters so loved that. Also All the people working were really nice. Will be back

Yelp
Love their services and been going to this place for almost 15+ years. Their prices have changed over their years but I think it's reasonable. I've rented both their kayaks and paddle boards which they keep in great condition. I called in advance in case I need to place a reservation and they were great about providing helpful feedback as far as what time is best to come as far as conditions go. We were running behind and unfortunately got there when the winds were rough for novice/intermediate paddlers. They asked about our skill level and recommended that we come back another day or consider kayaking. I felt like their honest business practices were worth mentioning on Yelp because they weren't about the sale and want their customers to have a great experience. Also, prior to servicing us we watched 3 high school girls try to lie about their age and kayak. Mind you, you just need an 18yr old in company to supervise the others. One girl confidently lied to the workers face, had her answers prepared, and told the workers not to look at her picture despite the colored line stating she was 18 in 2027. As annoying as these girls were, the worker was really patient and kindly refused service. Meanwhile, a friend that was visiting the business played bad cop and shamed the girls for their foolishness. It was a funny, awkward interaction to witness that was handled well. If you want a chill, affordable water activity for the summer, 'kayaks on the water' is the way to go but advanced reservations for their paddle boards is best.

Yelp
THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS Do not go here. Do not go here. As an LB local myself I would say do not go here. They will turn your service down before they close. We drove an hour to get here and they told us early morning they are open till 5 and can rent till 6. We are here to rent before they close and came up, they told us to come with our group. Then we came back 5 min later with the group prepared and they said they couldn't go anymore from the time. So messed up. DONT GO HERE. I am a Long Beach local and will now recommend to everyone to not go here . Don't go here. And the girls helping us were not nice about it. Messed up. Don't go here.

Yelp
Great customer service! The people working here are really chill. Two people ran over to help a person nearby when she fainted. This was our second time here and renting a paddle board is very easy and straight forward. You can sign up for their speed card and have free training sessions/tune ups. The area to paddle board is nice to. You can go around mother's Beach and naples
google avatar

Yelp
Have had a great time here every time and have also brought several friends to this after my friend told me about this place. They do a great job giving lessons (refresher or first time) and I always take advantage of the early bird rates once I have gotten the speed pass ($10/hr if you hit the water before 9:30AM). First time is usually around $35 bc it includes the safety/intro lesson. Second time I paid $26 bc it included the refresher. After that it's bee $10/hr for early bird rates. I'd call to confirm pricing sometimes it changes, not overall definitely recommend them!

Yelp
Amazing staff, beautiful setting and lots to see in the bay. Rent a kayak and enjoy the day. Chase is the MAN!

Renee E.

Yelp
Great customer service! We had a wonderful time kayaking for a couple of hours and seeing the Moon Jellies!

Joe P.

Yelp
Had a great time out in the bay and the canals and it was very easy to rent the equipment. I rented a kayak and my daughter was on a SUP. The staff was great about making sure we were coordinated to leave together and started the clock only once we both started to paddle out (had to wait for her to take a short lesson and watch safety video). There was no rush, no pressure, no upselling and a super friendly staff and plenty of equipment in really good condition. Without a doubt I'll rent from them again, hopefully very soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Did a kayaking group for my birthday! It was my first time kayaking ever. Very easy check in process. They'll do a 15 ish minute training video, super straightforward and then you'll be on your way. I recommend taking a picture of the map before you head out onto the water. Your personal items get strapped in a cubby in the back of the kayak; bring items you don't mind getting sandy or a little dirty. About half way through the loop there are restaurants along the docks, my group and I had to refuel ourselves before heading back. It was quite a workout we all didn't expect! I'm thinking kayaking is my new go to summer sport!

Yelp
Great place to rent a SUP and have fun in the by and around Naples island. Easy process, good equipment and instruction, fun people!

Yelp
My first time kayaking and using this rental company Things to know before going there 1.)Kayaks, paddles, life vest are provided on site with your rental 2.) you pay after your done kayaking since June 2023 (12$ hour) (can be cash or card) 3.) they don't stress enough you must know how to swim ! 4.) check hours before going. If going in June expect June gloom. They do close if weather is bad (wind and rain) 5.) call if not sure. I called and they answer promptly 6.) reservations are encouraged online. But walk ups accepted but expect wait times. 7.) when you come in be prepared to carry all your belongings with you (recommend water proof bag / phone case). Just don't trust leaving things there they don't ask if you want to give anything to them to hold ( like shoes or phone) Day off ~all the workers were yellow hats when you come in look for them and ask. ~Then they will check you in by signing saftey waiver, safety video (if made reservations online you skip) and you show them a ID card for deposit, given to you after when you give them back the equipment. Kayaking - i was scarred to flip kayak over and fall in water. Don't worry this won't happen easily - look at map, ask for directions, be aware of your surroundings the Naples canal is one way road. -be careful bc there are boats you are responsible if you hit one with the kayak. -if your inexperienced like I was I won't recommend learning to kayak on the canal bc there is boats, stand up paddle-boarders a narrow canal with a lot of stuff you can hit if your not careful. -be aware entering and exiting kayak rental place bc there is swimmers you can hit Overall it was fun, they do push you out and bring you back in the kayaks the equipment condition -boats dirty, sun bleached, -life best bleached worn out Staff -really friendly, helpful, and cared for our saftey
google avatar

Devin Pruden ..

Yelp
They make it super easy to get out on the water! They have great equipment they also have a lot of equipment! They probably rarely run out. I always book online, it makes the whole check in process faster and easier! They also have great pricing!

Yelp
They offer Kayak and Paddle board rentals. We opted for the paddle boards. I was my first time paddle boarding. I thought it would be similar to kayaking but I was so surprised of all the technical movements to move the paddle boards that I didn't know. (I'm now wondering if I know to to kayak correctly.... hmmm). I like that they have video instructions for us to see. If we wanted an instructor to instruct how to do techniques, the instruction of 15 min and is not wasted with your 1 hour time of rental. So you still have 1 hour of paddle boarding after the instructions. The instructions is first on land then at sea. It was so hard for me to paddle, turning, standing up, kneeling, etc. I was having a hard time. My legs were shaking when I was standing up. I got stuck at a rope and since underneath the paddle board, there's a fin, I didn't know what to do and panicked. Our instructor was very patient with me and was really helpful in teaching what to do.The instructions were so useful. He would teach all the things that know how to paddle. I think, for me, I need a lesson every time I come before I can say I can do it on my own without needing help. It was fun kayaking in the Naples Canal. The water was more calm and the view of those mansions were very nice. The more I stood up by myself around Napels Canal, the more I got more comfortable with it. However, I was super sore the day after since I was using my back and legs/thighs and squatting for balance. Kayak $12 Paddle Boarding $25 After your first time paddle boarding, they give you a card and you can register yourself online and next time you do paddle boarding, it's only $16. There is a 1 time of $10 membership fee. So 2nd time paddle boarding is technically $26, but the rest is $16. I'm not sure if there's an expiration date. Parking is very easy and free. There are lots of free parking. Free street parking near apartments or across the street. Even by the tennis courts, there's parking for free. Just look at the parking signs. There's restrooms 4 restrooms, those are public restrooms, but it's at the kayak/paddle board place. There is a place to put shoes at and if you need to lock small stuff, they have a place to do that too.

Yelp
Awesome socially distant activity to do with friends and family that won't break the bank ($12/hr for a kayak). Kayaks on the Water makes it super easy to rent online and speed up your check in process. Their safety video online was very cheesy, but because it was so corny, it made it quite enjoyable to watch. We came on a cloudy day in April and it was actually very cold, so parking on Ocean Blvd, was very easy. There was plenty of spots nearby, and also parking in the residential areas not too far away. Just be sure to read the signs carefully. The check in process was as easy as they said it would be online. They provided all of us with life vests, and they had single kayaks, double kayaks, and even stand up paddle boards. They were also nice enough to allow us to change up our rentals last minute, since it was kind of windy and cold out on the water, some of us did not want to try stand up paddle boarding and decided to stick to the safer route and kayak. Since they are located in the Marina, it also feels safer as the waves aren't as choppy, especially once you are in the canals. Great experience and glad to have rediscovered it. Will be coming back more often now that summer is approaching!

Yelp
We wanted to be adventurous but local. Thank goodness my partner ran into some strangers that told her about this spot. EXPERIENCE: Parking: Street parking, some meter, some neighborhood. Feels: It's an interesting part of Long Beach. Kind of like a lagoon in a more moderately nice simple houses. It's a gem if you want the water and beach elements without actually having to deal with a crowd, mainly a spot where neighbors and locals would go. In regards to boating, it's awesome. It's a doable area in the Naples village. Very charming spot kinda reminds me of the Venice Canal in LA - Venice. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome! Friendly and great with instructions! OVERALL: 5 Stars. Lovely. Simply lovely! My partner and I had a great time and we plan to come back. Paddle board, kayak (single or double) they have it! For an affordable outdoor/cheap thrill that's out of the usual. This is your spot! Enjoy! Tips: - RSVP ahead of time.

Yelp
My go spot to when I want to kayak, $14/hr. Always greeted by helpful and friendly staff.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of treating my staff to a day of kayaking at Kayak on the Water in Long Beach, and it turned out to be an absolute blast! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, exhilarating, and filled with laughter. I couldn't have asked for a better team-building activity, and I'm thrilled to share my 5-star review! First and foremost, the staff at Kayak on the Water deserves a special mention. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for what they do. They made sure we felt comfortable and fully prepared for our kayaking adventure, providing clear instructions, safety guidelines, and all the necessary equipment. Their friendly demeanor and positive energy set the tone for the entire day. As we embarked on our kayaking journey, we were immediately captivated by the stunning beauty of Long Beach's waters. The location itself is idyllic, with calm waves and picturesque views that create a serene atmosphere. The kayaks provided by the facility were in excellent condition, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride for everyone in our group. One aspect that stood out to me was the flexibility and variety of options offered by Kayak on the Water. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced kayaker, they have something to cater to your needs. We chose the guided tour option, and our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the local area. They shared interesting tidbits about the marine life, local history, and points of interest along the way, making the experience not only fun but also educational. The highlight of our kayaking excursion was undoubtedly the opportunity to get up close and personal with nature. We were fortunate enough to spot dolphins swimming gracefully nearby, which left us in awe of the incredible marine life that inhabits these waters. It was a truly magical experience that added an extra layer of wonder to our adventure. I must also mention the affordability of the kayaking packages offered by Kayak on the Water. The rates were reasonable, considering the quality of service, equipment, and overall experience provided. It made it even easier for me to treat my staff to a memorable outing without breaking the bank. In conclusion, if you're looking for an unforgettable kayaking experience in Long Beach, I wholeheartedly recommend Kayak on the Water. Their exceptional staff, breathtaking location, and well-maintained equipment ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure for all. Whether you're planning a team-building activity, a family outing, or simply want to connect with nature, this is the place to go. Thank you, Kayak on the Water, for providing us with a day filled with fun, laughter, and incredible memories! (Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my own opinions.)

Yelp
Disappointing management and jerks for employees! My family of 4 were out for a morning on our personal Paddle boards and decided to stop and get a bite to eat at the burger stand located near the Kayak rental station. We beached our boards and were immediately asked to move them because they were "in the way." We ask if the beach was public or privately owned by the kayak company. We were told by the manager that it was public but they wanted us to move them anyways down the beach "so that know one would take them". We pointed out that if we moved them further down the beach they would be out of sight from where we were eating and more likely to be taken. We compromised and moved them further onto the sand, out of the way and stacked them on there sides as to take up less room. We then proceeded to the burger stand to have lunch. I noticed the young workers moving kayaks around the area where we left our paddle boards and pointing, laughing and taking pictures all under the supervision of the older man we spoke to who appeared to be the manager . When we finished our lunch we returned to a fort stacked 2 kayaks high built completely around our boards on all 4 sides. Talk about unnecessary, rude and completely uncalled for. The disappointing part is that these young jerks did this under the supervision of an adult. They were pulling kayaks for renters from a completely different area so our boards were not in the way at all, this was just a sad example of a bunch of ill mannered kids allowed to be punks under the supervision of an adult. When adults lead the way for bad behavior it's unfortunate! It cost nothing to be kind and takes such a big effort to be mean... why people chose the latter is beyond me?

Yelp
Lots of fun on the water! They are super organized. They hold your ID, you sign a waiver, watch a basic video for safety and the route, pick up your life jacket & oar then head out to get your kayak. The have single or tandem ones. They are all very helpful. Lots of SUP, canoes, kayaks, boats, and swimmers. So relaxing, beautiful and fun. Parking on street. Look for the blue building behind the pickleball/basketball courts.

Yelp
I had a really exciting first time experience paddle boarding and going through the Naples canals using this small business. The workers here were super sweet and helpful to us first timers. There was an instructional video, a paddle boarding lesson on the shore and then one in the water to make sure you know how to navigate, control and stop yourself as needed on the water. This definitely prepped us and helped us more feel confident on the water. They were definitely not kidding when they said it required a good amount of strength to paddle against the current. Overall this spot is located at a really nice beach and my friends and I had a wonderful time hanging out and going through the canals to see the beautiful properties.

Yelp
Cheep easy fun and sunshine. This is great lots of fun nice little exercise and a fun day out on the water , we Passover to ballast point brewery and had much it was a beautiful day and you just can't beat that.

Yelp
Had an excellent experience renting kayaks and absolutely would bring friends to do it again! Staff was friendly and very helpful, and true to their promise of never running out of equipment, they had plenty. The time from arriving, signing up, watching a quick video to getting your equipment and getting in the water was extremely fast and efficient. It's easy to kayak and this location with both the bay and the canals offers a lot of interesting areas to explore. They offer large ziploc bags to put personal items in so they won't get wet ($1). It is $12/hour and after the first hour they prorate the time. There are rinse off points, bathrooms, and cubby holes (not locked lockers) available. Both single and double kayaks are available.

Yelp
This place offers a great Kayaking experiencing out in the city of Long Beach. I recommend booking your tickets in advance online (it saves you time during your check-in visit). The employees are following safety protocols here during COVID. I like how this place has quite a few staff members staffed which allows for safe sanitization measures to be put in place. The canals are such a sight to see and I love how relaxing this experience can be. You can rent single or double kayaks at this place and Venmo is accepted! Parking is a bit tight at this place and I recommend showing up in the morning to avoid the crowds. This place is conveniently located near 2nd street where all of the yummy restaurants and stores are at. I did knock off one star because we came across quite a few life jackets that smelled like pretty bad body odor and were ripped and looked extremely worn out.

Yelp
It's 11am on a Sunday, a perfect sunny day. Our group of five came here only to find out that the place is closed for the day. No notice, no one picking the phone, and both yelp and maps still say it's open. That's just pure disrespectful to customers...

Yelp
SO fun!! We reserved ahead, watched their video, and signed the waver before arriving - this was super easy to do and the info and presentation were super. Once we arrived everything was smooth and quick - The staff were helpful, gave us some pointers about where to go and then let us go for it. As a novice to kayaking, I was a little nervous, but it wasn't difficult at all to get the hang of it. We just took a few breaks as we guided our kayak and we especially enjoyed the canals. We were on the water for about an hour and a half and we were pretty tuckered out after :). I'll say I'm someone who normally gets motion sickness - but that didn't happen at all out on the water!! The waves stayed pretty calm as we went around.Try this spot out for sure!! We LOVED the experience :)!!

Yelp
I went here a few weeks ago to celebrate a friend's birthday. There were eight of us in our group, and we chose 3 two person kayaks and 2 one person kayaks. Surprisingly there were actually a lot of people in groups of 10 or more. I didn't expect it because when I was watching the videos that were recommended to view. I thought there would be less people since you had to reserve spots. I also thought that they would at least give instruction of how to paddle, and how to stop. However, that was not the case. Luckily, my son knew how to paddle and a couple of my friends had gone previously and told me what to do. However, I couldn't keep the kayak straight. I need more practice. It was fun being out on the water and getting some fresh air. You just have to be careful of your surroundings and make sure you aren't going to run into other kayakers. That's why I thought there would be more control of how many were out in the bay. It was pretty affordable $12 an hour. I would prefer to buy my own vest for next time. Not sure if they allow that.

Yelp
This company is really convenient. There is a lot of parking around the location. They have a lot of staff checking people in. You can take your dog--please have a life vest. Once you have your kayak and launch out, you can paddle all through the waterway and even dock at the various restaurants or shops. The company even provides a map of kayaker friendly spots. There are a few boats but they go very slow around kayakers and paddle boarders. It's a wonderful operation. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Great experience, we come here several times a year mainly for kayaking. Their staff is always well trained and friendly. This year, my husband and I tried paddle boarding for the first time. It was challenging but I definitely recommend people try it. Preferably on a day with calm winds. I do have to say they have to update their equipment. ASAP. My life vest was falling apart. The inside cushion was on the outside. I don't know how much the integrity of the vest will play a role in an emergency, but I don't want to find out. In hindsight, I should have asked for a different one considering this is the equipment that could potentially save my life in the event I fall into the water. But everyone could see it, so maybe it's not that big of a deal? It is a good experience. Pay attention to the safety videos, use your best judgment when out in the open water, keep clear of boats and enjoy!

Yelp
Rented a stand up paddleboard here over the weekend and had a great time. The process to reserve was pretty seamless with videos to watch online and then grabbing a time. Once you grab the time, you just go ahead and come up to the booth during that time and let them know you made the reservation online and pay. They are very seamless and organized in getting you into a kayak or stand up paddleboard. The rate is a bit steep at around $25 per hour, but they do have specials if you come back to paddle often. There's jellyfish you can kayak or SUP to or what I did was paddle the canals which were storybook gorgeous. Fun to do around Halloween too because of all the decorations!

Yelp
They are open almost 365. Very friendly operation, for more than 30 yrs now. Love their SUPs and going to Spinnaker Cove to see the jellyfish (seasonal). Clean, serene slice of paradise to enjoy water fun.

Yelp
The Guys' work was outstanding!! I believe they were High School or Uni, students. There was never a worker more than a foot away in the water or on the beach, including coming in. Great pointers on how not to flip, how to work together as a team and what to do if you flip.

Yelp
Check in was smooth and staff is friendly. A good one hour experience. Drivers license is required as well as watching a 7-8 minute video for safety and security reasons.
