My wife and I went here for the first time yesterday. The place is fairly unadorned, but the staff behind the bar were all friendly.
They were offering three of their own brews that were made in-house, along with several guest beers. The wife had a glass of their Table Beer, while I opted for the Pacific IPA, which was definitely drinkable. I followed that up with a 10-ounce pour of Tabula Rasa from Second Chance Beer Co., which was good.
We sat on the patio in the back, which was a good space, but it has the potential to be a really good space with some engaging decor. There is plenty of room for a giant Jenga or maybe cornhole, but I didn't see anything like that. The inside of the brewery gave me a feeling that the bar was just sort of stuck over in the corner, and could have also used some decor to liven things up.
At $8 per pint, the IPA was a bit overpriced -- although I'm sure the rent here is huge, so they have to make their money somewhere.
There is plenty of room for improvement here, and as they settle into their new digs, I would hope to see them transform the space into something more inviting. I certainly wish them the best, and will no doubt return at some point to see how they have evolved.
