"Afternoon Aperitivi Caffè Cova, Milan 's old world pastry shop and original fashion caffe. Its pastries are perfect and more than delicious, but what takes the proverbial cake is the aperitivo and its presentation. Black tie serves cater drinks like Negroni sbagliati with a sampling of beautiful mignons, tiny and colorful hors d’oeuvres of salmons, patè and cheese."

How Will Starbucks Milan Fit Into Italian Coffee Culture? | Eater

"An opulent, gilded historic café established in 1817 on Via Monte Napoleone, representing the kind of polished, ceremonial Milanese establishment that sits alongside everyday neighborhood coffee bars in the city’s coffee culture." - Angelica Frey

We came to this café one full hour before the official closing time shown on Google. The bald waiter pointed out the early closing only to us (not to other customers), and even before the time he mentioned had arrived, he brought the bill without us asking, basically rushing us out while we were still enjoying our order. Very disappointing compared to my previous good experiences here.

One of the best pastry shops in town. They also have savory dishes. I always go here for coffee and dessert. Would recommend the tiramisu.

Service is top notch! Start your day in here with light breakfast, tiramisu, coffee or maybe prosecco?) Though a bit pricey, you won't regret the atmosphere.

Hands down, this was the best saffron risotto I’ve ever had — absolutely exquisite. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. I was also impressed by the elegant and classy interior, which added to the overall dining experience. To top it all off, they offered complimentary chocolate, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch.

The place is big enough to accommodate many clients at once. I and my friend went there for breakfast without reservation and we’re seated very quickly. The waiter was so kind to offer moving to the booth without asking! We tried few things, cappuccino (regular and special), croissant stuffed with pistachio, scrambled egg with cheese and salmon, goat cheese and mushroom panini. Everything tasted great. Prices are reasonable for this type of upscale place.

I spent 12€ for a slice of panettone which seems like someone in the kitchen has already had a bite before they served it to me…the jasmine tea costs 7€ which only smells like jasmine and tastes only green tea. Very disappointed experience.

A highlight of our 4 day Milan trip. We got coffee and brunch. The omelets were delicious, and the ambience is very elegant. Best tiramisu we ever had. Would come again.

Just randomly popped in because of its high review. The tiramisu here tastes not bad. However, the service attitude was quite disappointing. The staff just slammed the plate on the table, which made the experience unpleasant. There's no doubt that he has a discrimination on Asian people, as he provided good service to other customers. It's a shame that such good food is let down by poor service.
