On "hot" summer days, who doesn't crave an ice cream cone or a pint size cold & creamy confection? I DO! I DO!
OK, now I'll tell you what I found in our own San Fernando Valley, located in Studio City.
McConnell's Ice Cream Shop at 12073 Ventura Place (off of Laurel Cyn.) across from Von's Market parking lot.
Can an ice cream flavor be called "panache"? Yes it can! Stylish, and with a flamboyant flair.
Sorry AI, but I got you on this one. Open wide, you are now going to do a taste test (if you can) *GRINNING*.
NOW, for the name of the McConnell's ice cream flavor I want on my death bed...it is called "Sweet Cream, Caramel, Brownie!"
Well, you have to have a sweet tooth for this one, which I do. The sweet cream and slightly salty caramel adds to the perfection experience.
The brownie is semi/dark chocolate (no nuts), blended in small chucks as it melts in your mouth, so there's very little chewing involved. Thank goodness, because I'm waiting for dental implants. Of course, McConnell's Ice Cream Shop will let you try samples to find "your" perfect flavor favorite!
You will not be disappointed.
What else do you have to do on a very HOT Valley summer day. ENJOY!
