"Rooted in the exceptionally trendy neighborhood of Williamsburg — ideal for first-timers seeking a taste of Brooklyn without straying far from Manhattan — this first American outpost of the brand doubles as a local hub, with an inviting lobby for getting work done. Dining shines with Israeli-inspired cuisine at K’Far beneath a retractable glass roof and charcoal-grilled specialties at the MICHELIN-selected Laser Wolf rooftop, delivering an authentic Brooklyn immersion with the city’s energy at your fingertips." - Alexis Benveniste

"A Williamsburg property with nightly prices typically in the $200–$300 range that places guests amid the borough's lively restaurant, bar, and shopping scene while providing stylish accommodations at more reasonable rates than many Manhattan hotels." - Isis Briones Isis Briones Isis Briones is a writer and editor who covers travel and design extensively for Architectural Digest, Travel + Leisure, and more. "For Brooklyn business, this outpost of the brand that began in Shoreditch delivers: the top-floor Laser Wolf and ground-floor, all-day K’Far serve Israeli and Middle Eastern fare from chef Michael Solomonov, while the Apartment meeting space is ideal for AV needs, complete with a greenroom and TV and audio recording equipment plus ample spaces for conferences and meetings. The 175 guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows—many framing Manhattan skyline views—along with blackout curtains, a telephone with free international calls, and desk space; the spacious lobby invites hours of work if you snag a prime table." - The MICHELIN Guide

"When the Hoxton plunked itself down on Williamsburg’s Wythe Avenue—the neighborhood’s unofficial hotel strip—it came just as much for New Yorkers as it did for visitors. Cases in point: a quirky, retro lobby that’s perfect for long, lazy Sunday afternoon hangs; an event space that has hosted, among other things, a pop-up tattoo studio; a rooftop bar that doesn’t have a line (yet). The UK-based Ennismore designed the hotel to feel extremely Brooklyn, dotting it with locally-sourced vintage furniture and bookshelves displaying hefty tomes on contemporary art and ’70-style chandeliers hanging from the lofty ceiling. The three on-site restaurants—seasonal Summerly and Backyard and the year-round favorite Klein’s—are overseen by Jud Mongell and Zeb Stewart, the names behind Williamsburg’s beloved Five Leaves, Union Pool, and Hotel Delmano. The cocktails are a delight (order the mezcal-infused Fire Island), and the food spans everything from New American comfort at Klein’s to New England–style lobster rolls at Summerly. Upstairs, the 175 rooms, like the ones at the Hoxton in Paris, are not massive but fit king-size beds and have views of either the Manhattan or Brooklyn skyline."
