Curb Side Bistro

I’ve always been a fan of CSB, ever since they were on West County Road. I even donated some huge wooden spools for them to use as tables back in the day. Today I ordered Buffalo Fries and a Homer Simpson Slider. They BOTH sucked! No other way to describe it. The fries were horrible at best. Old, hard, cold, and I honestly feel like they were “day old” fries. Nothing about them was good. Totally disappointed. Stingy with the sauce even. The chicken was hard and dry. So I moved on to the slider, hoping it would be good. NOPE! Same, meat was hard, dry, and not even warm. Bacon was hard as hell and this visit was a total waste of time and my money! Not sure what happened here, but I feel they have fallen victim to the “Odessa Restaurants Just Suck” theme that so many have embraced. This used to be a Grand Experience, and today it was bad, very bad. I mentioned to my wife that it looked like it was going down hill by all the junk piled up outside of the building. Not very appealing and I guess it was a reflection of what they are becoming. Just a shame that it has come to this. I remember when they were hungry and their food was something you bragged about. The only thing I will tell people from now on is, Good Luck! This will be the last time I throw my money away on a business that has lost its focus. Hate that I had to write this, but I went there to be pleased and that didn’t happen.

What a wonderful and fun restaurant. The sliders (yes all of them) are delightful. But the fries are the Star of the Show. Enjoy every one. Thank you for both locations.

This was the first Thanksgiving we didn't have the funds for Thanksgiving meal. I was so down and then I saw on the news about Curbside Bistro giving away meals. I went and waited and was able to bring home a Thanksgiving meal. I am so happy. Kudos to Curbside Bistro for making my holiday. Thank you.

Awesome place, the food portion was too big for my big behind. Pleasant staff quick to assist and answer questions. The food has a fun vibe and i got the buffalo chicken fries with 3 different sliders. Plenty left to take home. Thank y'all for the awesome experience

I accidentally placed my order in Midland instead of Odessa, but the team here went above and beyond. They called the owner, and he immediately agreed to remake my order — no hassle, no attitude. Amazing service and great people. Thank you!

The food was great. Great service. Definitely great atmosphere, cute decor. It was just very hot in there though and the floors were slippery, which made me nervous because I use a walking cane. Not safe for handicap, made me feel like I could have easily slipped. I ordered the bad mother clucker the one with pineapple coleslaw, but it was really hard to taste the pineapple. I honestly didn’t taste it at all but overall, the food was really good. The sweet potato fries are the best! Along with their cilantro ranch.

The food is alright. The sweet potato treat was really good. I got the clucker something and it was a bit spicy for me LOL

I've been trying to visit this restaurant for awhile but I don't live in Odessa and it seemed to be closed every time I came through. I guess it was overly hyped because I wasn't that impressed. The fries were cold. It didnt taste like it had been made with much care. Cool atmosphere though. I'd like to think they were having an off day.

Great food for the area. Sliders might be small but very tasty when you have a craving. The order of fries is huge and worth the calories. Very friendly and fast service with a clean dining area.

Hankering a home town favorite and one place to become popularly renowned for their exotically creative takes on an American food favorites burgers, wings and fries! The ambiance of this place is phenomenal, even the legend Anthony Bourdain mural shown is an excellent touch to this restaurant! The employees are very friendly and the food comes to your table hot and fresh! Let's talk about the food cultivated by their staff, I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken fries, includes a generous portion of crispy shredded fried chicken goodness, layered with spicy buffalo and homestyle ranch it is certainly the next level of buffalo ranch chicken fries one could ask for! Now on the sliders, don't sleep on the Home Simpson Slider, flavorful thick patty topped with creamy Mac and cheese with bacon and bbq sauce on top in between two briosh buns, talk about a lot of flavor! Overall, great atmosphere, friendly folks, decent pricing, and most of all exceptional food made for an event, I'll be sure to come back to Curbside Bistro!!!

First time to eat at Curb Side Bistro. Tea was old, fries were cold, and both mine and my husband's burgers were marginal at best. highly disappointed. Won't return.

Brought my family here off the hype of Odessa. We didn't even know if it was open. The outside is dirty, refrigeration units sitting out in the sun. We went into a dusty little restaurant. Beverage machine sitting on top of a fold out table in the dining room. Califas slider was really dry, bacon mac and cheese sandwich was bland. Cheese had no flavor, but the bacon was good, buffalo fries were super salty. Overall we wouldn't go back, just not that good.

Wow, what a variety of sliders w toppings! And sauces!! And enough fries for 3 people. We didn't even realize each order has two sliders so we each took home a whole slider and fries. Think my total was $12 or so, so a bargain to boot!! Staff was beyond friendly and patient. Definitely be back

In Odessa for only one day in a training class. I had to find a good lunch place that wasn't too far from Odessa College. My fellow Yelpers have never let me down and today they didn't either. So I drove the mile from the college and got there right at noon. Found a parking spot and walked inside to a really cool interior. The outside isn't much to look at but open the doors and the sights and smells are amazing. Then the staff was so friendly. She walked me thru the ordering and even told me I could mix n match the sliders. So I ordered the Bad Mama Jama and the Mother Clucker. Then she suggested their signature fries. All this with a drink for under $20. Even with a lunch crowd I had my food in 15 minutes. If only it tastes as good as it looks. Well!!!! It surpassed that. OMG I started with a healthy portion of their fries and that were drizzled with some secret sauces. Perfect cook, tons of fries and tasted so good! The sliders were just as good. The Bad Mama Jama had a perfectly cooked egg with some type of bbq sauce and awesome little bun. I wanted about five more it tasted so good. The Mother Clucker had a big piece of chicken in it and tatted heavenly! It's too bad I live in Fort Worth. If I lived in Odessa I would be here everyday single day, trying everything on the menu!

Great place, great food! I didn't go inside, but they have a drive-thru. Be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes. It was worth the wait, food was fresh and hot and the customer service was phenomenal! I usually don't get condiments but that ranch and ketchup tasted so much better than ANY prepackaged condiments. All of their condiments are made in house! 10/10 definitely recommend. * everything is la carte*

I have been going to Curbside Bistro since it was just a food truck. Today we went and ordered the "Mother Clucker" we stated that we couldn't have ranch on it due to dairy allergies. However when we received it, it had Coleslaw on it which contains dairy in it. I let one of the workers know about it. Today we received the worst customer service. A worker by the name I believe "Lea" stated that she would not remake it event though it can't be ate due to dairy allergies and we just had to buy another one. When we asked for a to go box she just rolled her eyes and said they are over there and walked away.

Great food!! Fast service!! And the overall experience was amazing! Such a fun place to visit!!

I thought the food was great. It's a counter service with a bit of a wait. It was fresh though so no biggie. The lady seemed annoyed that I ordered a kids meal but my kid bought an adult meal so I didn't get the attitude she gave me. Other than that, I would go again.

This is a must stop and try when in town!!! Great sliders with plenty of filling and you can mix the selection. I was not sure if 2 sliders would be plenty BUT yes they are! The buffalo fries are a meal themselves. You can substitute your fries to buffalo for an extra charge. Atmosphere is upbeat, chic with a mix of industrial graffiti! Food that calls out to everyday working people, suits n ties, and kids stopping by after school! Clean place and helpful staff. Would love to see this place become a chain so I can visit again!

We found this place on a recommended list and decided to try it out on our way to Big Bend. El jefe - loved the roasted jalapeños and cilantro ranch. The patty was burnt and dry so that was a little disappointing. Bad mamma jamma - loved the egg and caramelized onions. The patty was also burnt and dry. Luckily the egg made it a little less dry. The fries were soft but the sauces on top were good. If the fries were crispy, it would have been even better.

Wings was ice cold with a ton of sauce poured on them. Only went because of the good reviews maybe I shoulda picked the slider.

A couple of thing. Flavor amazing Presentation incredible Tasting approved Personal can be more training on custoner experience to be more outstanding they were good but must be better. The gentleman on the fried was amazing

LOVED this eclectic restaurant in Odessa. We were traveling from Texas home to Cali and our next stopover for the night would be Monahans, TX. Didn't really find any restaurants that sounded yummy, but I discovered this gem on Yelp in Odessa, TX. Had 4*s and sounded scrumptious! We exited the 20 and started our drive, at one point my husband said this is really far off the freeway, mind you we had already been driving for 8 hrs and I don't think he wanted to drive to much farther to eat. However we kept getting closer and he decided to go for it. Upon pulling into the parking lot, the outside isn't much to look at and I believe at one point, my hubby wasn't to sure he wanted to stay. I convinced him to go inside and check it out. The food was well worth the extra time to get to!!! Once again, glad we did. The 4 miles from the freeway was well worth the small detour. Opening the door you are greeted with lots of beautiful hand painted murals with different life sayings. It seemed like it was a different restaurant at one time and the current owners made it their own. Tables with chairs, tables with large cushioned tall back benches, high top tables with metal chairs, lots of different ceiling lighting; fans, strung light bulbs, etcetera, gorgeous large paper flowers on the walls (see bathroom pic). We stopped at the large rectangle monitors that showed nice colorful pictures of the sliders they make, because that is what they zero in on, doing one thing and doing it WELL! Many choices and all sound amazing. And on the changing monitor is a sweet pic of the owners which I believe may be husband and wife. I chose The OG which is a hamburger style slider because I was so in the mood for a hamburger. My husband had the pulled pork sliders. We normally share but since sliders are smaller we decided not to this time. Our plate consisted of two sliders which can be mix and matched, which I totally forgot to do. Also comes with tasty fries and they top them with spicy ketchup and cilantro ranch (which we opted for on the side) and it was a nice large portion. For I believe a $4 up charge, you can get sweet potato fries. The gal who took our order asked if you had ever eaten here and of course we said "no". She then explained how the fries work and how and what can be put on them, various combinations (kind of like In n' Outs Animal fries). We just asked for the plain fries which I thoroughly enjoyed. For our two meals and two small refillable sodas, it cost $27 and some change. We took our number and sat down. While waiting for our food, we noticed many people coming in to eat or using their drive-thru so they definitely have followers. It was a bit of a wait for our food but well worth it. My slider hamburgers were really really good. The meat cooked just right and not a pre-shaped patty. It was on a brioche bun with American cheese, pickles, tomato, arugula, spinach and a red leaf lettuce with some sauce. I'm thinking about it now and can't wait to return and try another flavor. The fries were cooked to perfection, not over cooked to suck the life out of them or overly crunchy, just right being a bit soft plus nice and hot just the way I like my fries. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his pulled pork sliders. Unfortunately I didn't try them for this review, but they were packed with meat, coleslaw, pickles and bbq sauce. As I sat looking around, I did notice that the floors weren't swept and some things needed cleaning, but it wouldn't detour me from returning when in the area. Oh also I noticed they have Wing Wednesday (see pic). I noticed somebody having them and they looked very good smothered with sauces, again able to chose your flavor. If you are in the area or driving by, this should be on your list to try. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Highly recommend this place! It runs $10-$16/pp but well worth it. The swine fries are the bomb. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the chicken tenders they were very dry but with sauce they were fine. The pulled pork is our favorite! Super cool artwork and little place to visit. They have an uncovered patio with picnic tables if you wanted to sit outside or bring your furry friend. Drive thru is for pickup orders only.

Super yummy concoctions. I tried the Homer Simpson and Chicken Sliders. Sweet potato fries were good, too. Prices keep rising and are higher than highest shown on Yelp ... but that seems to be a theme in Odessa. Real good food makes it just about worth it.

Best tasting sliders anywhere. Good foot. The cilantro ranch hits the spot. Will keep going back

Our food was horrible today. The clucker is a dried out chicken strip with cabbage and zero flavor. The customer service was horrible and there's no air conditioner in the restaurant. What is happening. Typical Odessa restaurant. We will never eat there again.

Y'all. The chef who owns and operates this establishment is a Chopped Champion! Of course the food is gonna be bomb. They say when you're opening a restaurant that you need to find what you're good at and continue to do it well. I mean...Chef Alejandro and Curb Side Bistro do just that. The sliders are to die for, the staff is so sweet and helpful, the food comes out freakin fast...what more could you ask for. Try this place if you're hungry. Try this place if you're into good food. Heck...just try this place. You won't be disappointed. 10/10

Best Buffalo Chicken fries and sliders!!! Everything is made fresh, I got the Homer Simpson with the side of Buffalo chicken fries and it was AMAZING!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Soggy and sad. Doesn't even deserve a star. Reading on the shrimp was falling off. One piece of lettuce and sad portion of coleslaw.

I have a teen son who is a senior in high school. This is our mom and son dinner spot. It's both our favorites. There are so many options. You can try different things every time. I have never been dissatisfied with the service or the food. It's a bit expensive, but the flavor and taste of the food, makes it worth it. I'll pay more for amazing food that fills me up. The mac and cheese is the BEST I've ever had. I've had women cook some great Southern Mac and cheese. Nothing comes close to this. My son comes to eat here for lunch at least once a week. Anyone making a trip to midland needs to try this food. You won't be disappointed. The whole 90's R&B and rap vibe just hits different. Zero complaints.

It's definitely worth stopping to eat. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh & made to order. Very clean. The building was nice & and decorated, very inviting. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

These mini sliders are the perfect size and very filling. Not to mention you get a healthy portion of fries. My kids loved the Mac and cheese. We'll be coming back in no time.

I tried the Bad Mamma Jamma and the Mother Clucker sliders with the Swine Fries. My sliders were ok and the fries were good but really sweet. I enjoyed the pulled pork on them. My husband got the Homer Simpson and the Bacon Bomb with Buffalo fries. He liked his sliders and we both thought his fries were the best. If we go again we may just share an order of sliders and fries it was a lot of food (and highly priced). Also we got there a little after 11am and the place was already packed.

The music here was super chill, some post Malone and techno. No country or spanish music as expected. Very pleasant surprise! The cashier was friendly and explained the menu well. The restaurant wasn't mega packed and appeared clean. The food took a while to come out but it is made from scratch so that's to be expected. The chorizo burger was so gross I spit my bite out. BUT! The homer macaroni burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had in YEARS. This is some DFW quality food! Delicious. The meat melted in your mouth and cut easily with a fork. The macaroni was thick and bursting with flavor, very creamy! The bbq sauce was a delicious touch. The buffalo chicken fries have fried chicken and it's all so incredibly flavorful I can't even describe how amazing it was. You really need to try it, I promise you won't be disappointed. Also had the half liter Mexico cokes here, yum yum! 9.8/10 rating from me! Will for sure come here again!

There is a reason why the chief of the restaurant won Chopped! Yes it's that good! Homer Simpson and swine fries is my go to here. If you like to try new things while out of town this is a must go to. Enjoy!

When you go in and order and they offer you their specialty "ranch" dressing and you kindly decline, and they insist...that's a huge turn off for me, especially when they give it to you on the side (I've never liked ranch anything). The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. I can get better burgers at any high-end Mexican establishment in town. Maybe one day in the distant future I MIGHT give it another go.

Food was excellent! Had the Cobb salad it was awesome! However could do without the paper on the plate that they put the salad on. It gets soggy when you add salad dressing, could possibly eat some paper. Midland Location

This place is amazing!!! If you want some good food I recommend coming here. The staff is always nice. I do recommend calling ahead if you're picking up an order because it does sometimes take about 15 minutes. I love their buffalo chicken fries with Mac and cheese on top.

Love the food never had a bad experience. There food may take a while, but what to expect only great food take time especially on their busy days. Environment very welcoming.

I had high expectations for this because the reviews were so good. I got a burger and fries. The fries were really really mushy. Like totally soft. I'm not sure if that's just the style and that's how they usually cook them here or what. The fries were not that big of a deal, but what really surprised me was the burger. I thought this was a place that used really high quality ingredients, but my burger didn't even have cheese on it, it had a piece of that cheap hydrogenated vegetable oil food product that looks like cheese. Ew! Also would be great if they could offer beer.

We ate here recently for lunch and everything was delicious. I tried the buffalo fries and the "all the way"(?) fries - both were great. The mac and cheese was bomb. I didn't realize that when you order a flavor of sliders, you get two of that flavor (unless you order two different flavors, which is an upcharge, but still a total of two) and fries (flavors are an upcharge). They also have cornhole and jenga blocks out to play with. It's a fun vibe.

My family loves this place so much. Anytime we have out of town guests we always make sure they get Curbside during their visit! The best sliders, the best owner. Be prepared for a little wait time because they're made when you order. 100% recommend.

Homemade fries are worth going for alone! Burgers were great, so was the grilled cheese. Super cute spot that doesn't feel like you're in Odessa!

Food is okay, the swine slider was dry the pork needed more bbq and salt , it could have also been chopped a little smaller, service at the front was not very informative or courteous to explain a bit on the menu. Location over all was clean , as for parking there wasn't as much parking

Fantastic service even better food. What a great place. We are always down to try new places, especially locally owned spots. This place doesn't disappoint! The sliders are some of the best I have had. I tried the Homer Simpson and the Tejano Borracho (James Beard Award Winner ). Odessa has a place to talk about!!! Must try!!!

I love the food, fries are served in abundance ( ask to hold the sauce if you don't care for the three flavors spread on them. Mayo, ketchup and other special sauce. Burgers are good!

The burgers are exceptional. You can get something creative if it's your thing. I just go with the classic bacon cheeseburger. The meat and vegetables is fresh and high quality, and the sauces are house made. The place is clean, hip, and the food is top notch.

Very good food. Unique and great comfort food. We got the Homer Simpson, which was great. The patty had good flavor. Also the mother clucker which I feel was bit dry but the chicken by it self had great flavor. Also tried the swine Devine and it was a bit dry for our taste. The pork by itself had great flavor, very very tasty. But with the bread and cole slaw being dry it was very dry. But will try other slider which look very good.

I had the split and it was well worth the money and the service is great. Family friendly with the children. But no one complained about the food. It was all delicious.

This is a must stop place in Odessa. Food was excellent. Split decision fries is a must. A unique eatery in Odessa.

The Homer Simpson burger with Buffalo fries is so good. Just ask for extra sauce on the fries cause they are often dry towards the end. 8/10 place.
