Handmade pasta, Italian groceries, espresso, and pastries served.

"If Park Slope seems quiet on a Friday morning, it’s because everybody’s meeting for cappuccinos at Un Posto Italiano. The Italian cafe and grocery store has a no-laptop policy Friday through Sunday, and the seating area in the back (plus the backyard if it’s nice out) is permanently full of Park Slope parents splitting intricately layered sfogliatelle and drinking beautiful espresso. The cafe also sells homemade pasta, which you can call ahead to order." - willa moore, neha talreja, will hartman
"If you live in Park Slope and haven’t heard of Un Posto Italiano before, it’s probably because your neighbor is trying to keep it a secret. The Italian cafe and grocery store has a no-laptop policy Friday through Sunday, and the seating area in the back—and the backyard if it’s nice out—is always full of Park Slope parents splitting intricately layered sfogliatelle and drinking beautiful Italian espresso. As far as the menu goes, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Un Posto Italiano also makes its own pasta, which you can call ahead to order. (You can also order in person, just be prepared to wait.) The options change weekly from things like gnocchi verdi to hand-cut spaghetti. Pick up a pound, plus some sun-dried tomatoes imported from Italy, and then go home and make a dinner so good your kitchen barely recognizes it. photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore Pause Unmute" - Willa Moore
"Our favorite cafe in the neighborhood, and where you’ll often find us taking in-person coffee meetings (no laptops allowed!). Focused on classic Italian espresso-based drinks, it’s deeply authentic, and recently the back half turned into an alimentari selling the highest-quality Italian pantry items." - Coolstuff Team
"A market known for deceptively simple but perfectly balanced sandwiches—mortadella with artichokes or tuna salad with egg—built on unbelievably airy focaccia; late-weekend aperitivi in a charming vine-walled backyard add to the appeal." - The Editors, Charlotte Druckman
"A relaxed Park Slope Italian spot with a laptop‑free atmosphere; after reopening from a summer break the reviewer enjoyed a morning caffè shakerato, describing the experience as a fun, cocktail‑glass‑in‑daylight indulgence." - Alan Sytsma, Margalit Cutler
