My husband and I moved to Santa Rosa a few months ago from a different part of Sonoma county and are always looking for a great place to eat. We were referred to Ca’Bianca and we are so glad we came to! The location is stunning! I adore the vintage look! I love that the owners preserved that piece of history of this location/area! Food/Drinks: I had a glass of white wine, my husband had an old-fashioned, and we started with some delicious calamari (part of their special; not on menu) and bread w/ olive oil & balsamic vinaigrette! The food is absolutely delicious! You can genuinely taste everything is made from scratch! I had the Salmon served over grilled zucchini and potato gratin and my husband had their Daily Entrée Special which was a savory steak with veggies and potato gratin! For dessert I had the Crème Brule and he had the Strudel di Mele (if you love apple pie, this is it haha)! Our waiter was sweet, knowledgeable and attentive! They have a great team! We went to dinner on a Sunday which you would assume be a little slower/quieter, but it was busy. Our waiter was busy, but his team was attentive and would come and refill our waters and remove our empty plates! This places is amazing 10/10 stars from me! Will definitely be coming back and try the pasta next!

Amazing food, amazing service and amazing ambiance. Alejandra was our server, and she was outstanding; she didn’t miss a beat, despite serving our entire room and a couple of tables outside our area. Food is delicious and the pastas area must, as they are handmade. All was fresh and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. We didn’t have any cocktails but opted for our own wine; corkage is $25. Parking is easy as they have their own dedicated parking lot, but there are also lots of street parking. This place is VERY lively. If you’re looking for a quite area to sit, I would suggest on the deck. The areas we were in were lively with lots of parties of 6+. Would totally come back again!

This restaurant has beautiful scenery, both indoors and outdoors. The building was supposedly built in the 60s and an antique feel that adds to the quaint look that's so unique and charming. My husband & I ordered 2 appetizers, a pasta, and a main and found the dishes quite filling and delicious. We especially enjoyed the pollo entree, which was interestingly more of a chicken puff pastry. The complimentary bread is also quite good - definitely have it with the balsamic vinegar. Overall highly recommend!

Google
A beautiful restaurant with a wonderful ambience with so much potential but lacks detail. This might be the first restaurant I write a review in Sonoma since there’s much potential with poor execution. Ordered (party of 2): 1. Gnocchi - 4 would be perfect if the gnocchi was just a bit more chewy. Excellent use of gorgonzola. 2. Impepata - 5 fresh big clams and mussels. Beautiful tomato broth with parsley. 3. Frutti Di Mare - 3 keep your pasta water sodium lvl at 5 percent 4. Dry aged ny strip -3.5 Also the steak was cooked well but underseasoned. Not sure if it was on purpose as ifs served w jus, but still such a disgrace to silence the flavors of the meat by not seasoning it early enough. It was a little surprising to have such delicious appetizers, and then a totally bland main course! All the ingredients were fresh and cooked very well with some under seasoned. I can maybe understand the reason the steak wasnt salted much, but really couldnt believe that the frutti di mare was so bland. It was as if something happened in the kitchen that night. There was a long wait between the main course and the appetizers. In fact, the two tables next to us couldnt wait any longer and left without getting their main course. Overall, the menu and the recipes are curated well, but either some line chefs are messing up in the kitchen or something happened in the kitchen that night. Service: The servers need to be trained. Our server could not even remember the prices of the TWO specials and was never to be found after we ordered. I actually had to find the host to get my bill after waiting over 20 minutes. Just a little better staff training can go a long way at a restaurant like this. The tables next to us never received their food for almost 45 minutes. We also waited about 30 min. When someone mentioned it to the waiter, he said “I know” instead of apologizing or explaining the cause of the delay. The plates you guys use at this restaurant are all very large and the tables are tiny, yet the water & wine bottles stay on the table. Atmosphere: Reminds me of my classic new orleans restaurants. Beautiful classic home turned into a restaurant. The garden is beautiful too. I would highly recommend the owners to install sound dampeners on the ceiling or the corners of the wall and it will do wonders. Especially if you want to keep the table spacings this small, you dont want this much reverb from every table. Its really minor adjustments that can make this place so much better. I hope that the service/ bland food was just a one time mistake. I forgot to mention that they have a small but a great wine list too. I will return for another experience.

We had a family dinner a Ca'Bianca the end of August while visiting Santa Rosa. What a positive experience! We sat outdoors and the setting is so pleasing. Our waiter was so attentive and on spot. Our meal started with their delicicous home-made artisan bread served with olive oil. It was so good we had to stop ourselves from eating too much to save room for our meals. All five of us had a different entree and everyone raved about their individual meal. Their pastas are made from scratch and the great taste and quality ingredients are evident along with their focus on fresh, local, organic ingredients. We all had different desserts and shared. Everything was delicious. Their wine selection is very impressive and provides something for every wine drinkers palate. They also offer great cocktails. I will definitely be eating at Ca'Bianca on my next vist. Thank you Ca'Bianca for a wonderful meal experience.

I’m honestly surprised by the high ratings this place receives. As someone who has managed a restaurant, I have certain expectations — and unfortunately, this place fell short on several fronts. My wife brought me here for my birthday dinner. We checked in with the hostess and were seated outside, where there were no heaters — unlike the deck section, which did have them. It was a chilly evening, and that already made things less comfortable. Shortly after being seated, we were served a baguette — it was tasty, but oddly came without butter. Since our food was delayed, we asked for a couple more pieces. The second batch was so hard we couldn’t eat it. Our server noticed, apologized, and brought out more — but unfortunately, the next round was just as inedible, so we gave up on the bread altogether. We were seated at 7:00 p.m. but didn’t receive our appetizer until 8:00 p.m. — a full hour later. We also ordered two cocktails: the house margarita and something called the “Smoky Babana.” Neither was enjoyable. My wife actually sent hers back and ordered a glass of wine instead. Timing of the courses was completely off. We were supposed to get the gnocchi as a separate course before the filet mignon, but both came out at the same time. To make things worse, the $46 filet — ordered medium rare — came out medium. The cut was not impressive, and the overall quality of the meat was disappointing. The only redeeming quality of the evening was the ambience. The atmosphere was lovely, and the space had potential. But food, service timing, and overall execution missed the mark for what should’ve been a special evening. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

While staying in Santa Rosa we came here for dinner one evening. The setting is in a beautiful, old mansion with plenty of parking to the side of it. They have beautiful garden areas to sit outside and plenty of indoor seating as well. Service was very nice and personable. The menu is rather basic though. The appetizer list was decent, salad list was too simple, pasta list was awesome – it was the best topic on the menu, but the entrée (secondi) list was way too simple, offering just one of each protein. We shared their rigatoni, which was excellent! I don’t think I’ve ever had peas in a red sauce and this was great! The sausage had an odd texture to it, but the flavors seemed decent. The portion was perfect for splitting too! Next up was their chicken dish, which was stuffed with prosciutto and cheese and wrapped in dough. It was ok, but lacked flavor, especially in regards to the chicken itself. Their wine list is decent, they offer a local, Balletto wine for a really good price. Overall, not sure what all the hype is about regarding this particular place, but we probably wouldn’t return, unless they revamped their menu.

Google
One of the only Italian places open on a Monday for lunch so we gave it a try. Atmosphere is a bit old time-y which might be cozy at night but felt a little underwhelming during the day. We orders both pastas and they were very over-sauced and heavy. Not really authentic. One was advertised as “light tomato cream sauce” but in reality it was heavy and the amount of sauce very overwhelmed the pasta. Our bread bowl had not been cleaned and there was someone else’s tomato meat sauce on bowl which was pretty gross. Waiter was attentive.

Yelp
We have been many times over the years but this may have been our best meal there. Excellent bread with olive oil and balsamic was brought out as usual. The appetizers were all excellent and quite large; Dungeness Crab Cake special, the Impepata was so good, full of clams and mussels, I brought the broth home to make a crab bisque, and the Carpaccio was also excellent. We all shared Caesar salads which was very tasty and just the right size as we had ordered appetizers. The entrees were uniformly excellent, Pork Chop, Pasta Carbonara, and the Pasta Funghi. I'm not a vegetarian by any means but the Pasta Funghi was outstanding. To full for dessert. Prices are actually very reasonable for this area and this quality and Jorge was a delightful waiter.

Yelp
Stepping into CaBianca's is like stepping back in time. This restaurant is in an 1876 victorian mansion. The attention to detail in this restaurant can't be missed from the architecture down to the roses that adore the tables. The food highlights the northern region of Italy. I had the Carbonara with spaghettini, pancetta, shallots, cream, eggs and pecorino along with an Isola margarita. They have a vast wine list that includes Italian wines along with local wines from Napa and Sonoma County. You can also bring your own wine for a 15.00 corkage fee. The service was prompt and attentive while also giving us time to visit. This restaurant has the perfect space for an intimate dinner to a private event. Our party noted they went to a baby shower in their outside garden. This restaurant shouldn't be missed if you visit Sonoma County.

Yelp
Such a charming Italian restaurant located in downtown Santa Rosa for more than 25 years. It's in a beautiful Victorian house that was built in 1876. They offer house made bread (served with olive oil and vinegar) as well house made pasta. Ingredients are fresh, local and organic. The cuisine is authentic Italian from various regions of Italy. We came here for a holiday family dinner and had an exceptional experience. There were 3 orders of carbonara and I ordered the butternut squash ravioli. We all finished our plates. The complimentary bread was so soft and I love dipping it in the oil and vinegar- delicious! They have an extensive wine list and some craft cocktails. The Italian lemon drop with a sugar rim went nicely with the ravioli. The service was great - everyone was friendly and very attentive. I need to get here more often- it's a gem.

Yelp
Solid Italian restaurant in Santa Rosa. I was visiting for a work trip, and we were here for dinner. The restaurant is a historic Victorian home - beautiful and fitting. The staff are really friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the gnocchi to carbonara pasta to chocolate ice cream. Everything was great. I highly recommend this restaurant to those visiting the area.

Yelp
Really great Italian food + the garden is beautifullllll Our hotel recommended this place, and it was a short walk from downtown Santa Rosa! The restaurant is in a unique Victorian house -- I loveeee the garden entrance and also the garden patio (highly recommend to request to sit here). Very romantic!! Love the ambiance and vibes (: Dog friendly as well! There's also covered patio seating, a bar area/ seating, and traditional seating inside the house. We ordered FUNGHI PASTA + FRUTTI DI MARE PASTA, we finished every bite!! That's when you know it's good! I believe the tagliolini pasta (which is in those 2 pastas) is house made, and some pastas are not housemade. So definitely get the house made pasta! Service was friendly and seemed very well versed. Highly recommend this place for special occasions or a romantic date night!

Yelp
The place was beautiful, and the food just delicious. I had the carbonara, and I have to say it was the best I ever had. We will be back

Yelp
Absolutely recommend this place if you are a fan of Italian food. Came here and had the linguini with clams. Absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. Our server was very friendly and recommended the specials. My buddy ended of getting the shredded short rib pasta.

Yelp
Always lovely. Always consistent. It's our go to spot. Best vongole around. I hand been eating here since I moved here in 2012.

Yelp
I didn't realize Ca Bianca was a 19th century home! It looked beautiful with lights all around the plants, and inside was just as beautiful. S E R V I C E: I came here to celebrate my Mother in law's birthday. We had a reservation for 6 of us at 5pm, and it was pretty crowded! Parking could be a hassle for anyone since its parking area isn't that big. We were seated right away, and our server was awesome. F O O D: I really enjoyed the bread they served us while we waited for our food. I had to stop myself from eating too much of it! My main course was their Pollo Ripieno, and it was pretty tasty. I was hesitant about the puff pastry, but it worked well together with the chicken. The portion size did feel a little small for me - and for the price, I was expecting more. O V E R A L L: I can't say I see myself coming back here, unless family wanted to. I felt like the food was mediocre for the amount of money we paid.

Yelp
I was visiting a good friend in Santa Rosa and she took me to this place which is one of her favorite Italian restaurant. This place absolutely hit the mark and was beyond expectations. Firstly, the ambience is so moody and romantic. The staff were very friendly. But the highlight of the meal is definitely their food! Everything we tried was very scrumptious. I am still thinking about their Tortino Di Granchio which is their dungeness crab cakes served with lemon aioli. Their Funghi pasta was my personal favorite. It was a delicious house-made tagliatelle served with chantarelle mushrooms, zucchini, and crème fraiche. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Yelp
This is not a solid restaurant. Service is excellent. Garden is a nice space. Food needs improvement. It's embarrassing to have a nice garden and space but unsatisfactory food. Gnocchi appetizer was the best dish. Good balance of Gorgonzola flavor and cream sauce. Gnocchi was made well. The lamb was small, not cooked to requested doneness, and the sauce on top had a fishy taste to it. Chicken was like a cordon bleu with a flaky pastry crust and prosciutto to it-- that was okay. The spinach was not seasoned, not distributed evenly over the chicken under the crust, and it overwhelmed the taste of the chicken and cheese with bitterness. At least the side of vegetables on both the lamb and chicken was decent. The fungi pasta was not Al dente and the sauce was okay. If not for the ambiance and service, I'd give 2 stars. For the price, I expected much much better. Much better. And food didn't deliver. I'm sure there are other restaurants for the price that can deliver food AND ambiance.

Yelp
This place was great! They have turned an old house into a restaurant. I liked the room we were seated at. Service was good, attentive staff. Food was also super tasty. Mushroom soup was super tasty so was the mushroom pasta. So many different variants of mushroom. The seafood pasta also had good flavor and variety of seafood. Dessert was different and very tasty.

Yelp
Venue is an amazing historic Victorian home from the 1800's with beautiful gardens. Truly amazing. Service was attentive and professional. Food was delicious. Surprised at the affordable and diverse list of wines by the glass. We enjoyed Gnocchi as appetizer. Light, fresh and flavorful. Rigatoni and Funghi pasta were tasty with home made flavors and pasta texture. We'll return.

Yelp
It takes a lot for me to come back and update reviews... It has to be something pretty remarkable, otherwise I just chalk it up to "things change" and leave it at that. Unfortunately for Ca Bianca, the remarkabe change was definitely enough for me to come back and report in. I made us a reservation for our anniversary and on our way to the restaurant I told my husband the stories about my experiences here with their panna cotta. I waxed on and on about how amazing it was and the differentiating factors of what makes a panna cotta worthwhile and how ca bianca was able to fine tune this dessert to just the right flavor and texture. I got us the first reservation available for the evening so we could take in the ambiance which was still pretty nice after all these years. We were sat in the side hall which has an interesting indoor/outdoor feel. We started with an order of the polenta, for the mains I ordered the gnocchi and he ordered the puff pastry chicken, and then for dessert, of course the panna cotta and a semifreddo just for funzies. The polenta came out quite quickly and it was very unimpressive. I felt like the main flavor coming through was of gorgonzola which at that overpowering level did not go harmoniously with the herbs and tomatoes. Also, the sauce was extremely hot but the polenta itself was barely warm which was a very disappointing textural element. Unfortunately the main dishes were not any better. My gnocchi was heavy and very average and hubby's puff pastry chicken was soggy and flat tasting. Of course the most disappointing part was after all that hype about dessert. I was eager to see the panna cotta and when it arrived it was nothing like what it used to be. If you read my past reviews or look at past photos I posted, even the plating, shape, and texture are very different from what they serve now. The panna cotta of yesteryear is nowhere to be seen and the panna cotta of today is not worth coming here for. We didn't end up eating hardly anything we ordered. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I have recommended ca bianca to so many people for dessert and now I feel embarrassed that I have been telling people to go here for this dish and it is so disappointing. Actually, all of the dishes we had were disappointing and quite overpriced for the low quality. I do have to say the ambiance is still very nice and the grounds of the restaurant are beautiful. It's nice to have private on-site parking as well, but for the food, the experience is just not worth it. Ca Bianca is just no longer the positive noteworthy restaurant of the past.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food in NorCal. Every time I'm back in this area, I look forward to stopping by Ca Bianca. The Carbonara has left a mark on me and not a day goes by without dreaming of it. Rich, flavorful, and creamy. Portions are fair! We came with a party of 7 and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Their lemon drop was refreshing and tasty. Tiramisu was also a hit. Service was excellent. Perfect spot for a date night or dining with groups.

Yelp
I've been coming to Ca'Bianca since I was a teenager! And every time I come here I am always in awe of the food. The chef definitely has things down to a T! Everything is always on point, and the taste of literally everything is 10/10. The staff is also super friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu! They also have a great variety of wines and cocktails to choose from. Ambiance is great! It's very well organized and the way it's set up it's perfect as it gets pretty busy. I enjoy restaurants that have a good vibe and I can tell every table was enjoying their time here! This is a great place to go for any occasion! A must try if you are in Santa Rosa

It was ok, but lacked flavor, especially in regards to the chicken itself. Their wine list is decent, they offer a local, Balletto wine for a really good price. Overall, not sure what all the hype is about regarding this particular place, but we probably wouldn't return, unless they revamped their menu.

Yelp
A beautiful Victorian style home with lovely interior decor! The ambiance was so romantic and peaceful, even the entry way was beautiful, and while we didn't go to outdoor seating, it would be beautiful in summer. We ordered gnocchi appetizer which was delicious, creamy, and tender. My rigatoni was delicious too although I preferred the gnocchi, and we also had the daily special, a ravioli dish which was a bit undercooked and not as much to our taste. Service was great. If we are in the area I would definitely be open to dropping by again to try the outdoor seating!
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance all top notch. What a lovely experience! Old Victorian house makes a cozy lunch spot with plenty of room on veranda. Prawns and carpaccio were fantastic!
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Delicious food and nostalgic vibes in an old historic house. Romantic setting with authentic Italian food. Service was good although a bit slow (we didn't mind though). All the pasta was home made and fresh. The lobster ravioli was one of the best I've had. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a date night spot.
google avatar

Joann C.

Yelp
What a quaint idea to convert an old historical home into a restaurant, so charming. It's so lovely to sit in the veranda and admire the garden while enjoying your meal. Kudos to our server and the wait staff, super friendly and not imposing. The appetizers and desserts were not as extraordinary compared to their outstanding pasta dishes (tastes like handmade noodles) and entrees. They make an amazing rack of lamb, and duck!--not what you'll expect from Italian restaurant but they were excellently executed, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If we didn't live so far away, this would be our regular staple. We are glad we stumbled upon this gem.

Yelp
This excellent, well cared for restaurant is a must-go treat, on many levels. It's smartly situated in a lovely house which somehow straddles both grand and cozy. The host is warm and effusive; the staff highly attentive and accommodating. There was a high breeze coming up onto the porch where we dined with our dog, so our waiter literally carried the heat lamp up, at his own insistence, for our comfort. The food is exquisite and appropriately priced; we found the selection excellent. The wine list is extensive; our Chianti was delightful. The gardens are shockingly gorgeous - clearly cultivated and loved for decades. The breeze through the unusual selection of flowers makes for a literally perfumed air. This place will work for the impressive date, the special occasion, or the family gathering. Loved it!

Yelp
Ca'Bianca makes for a lovely date spot if you don't mind paying a premium for the "ambiance", while simultaneously falling just short of feeling like an "experience". $100 for a dinner for two with a shared app and a single beverage means that I judge dishes relatively harshly compared to a $30 greasy spoon diner, and while their in-house made bread was tasty, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations. Serving the bread with olive oil but not butter is an interesting choice, perhaps it's an Italian custom i'm just not familiar with, can't fault them there. The arugula appetizer we got was incredibly underwhelming for $14, but the pasta based entrees were enough to salvage the review to the point of 4 stars. Service was excellent, there was a bit of a jarring miscommunication where I called in advance and made a 7:50PM reservation only for them to not acknowledge that I had made a reservation when we got there. Felt a bit awkward, but there wasn't a wait anyways so: no harm no foul.. Ultimately, the price competes with Lococo's in railroad square and falls flat compared to their more elevated dishes like their Veal saltimbocca. The food itself was much more reminiscent of Riviera, a few blocks from here, and for the same price, if not slightly less you get better quality food and larger portions. Ca'Bianca was a lovely Friday night date, but I can't help but feel like we were paying a "pretty garden tax". I enjoyed our dinner but I don't think I would personally dine here again.

Yelp
Pretty good, server was best part he told us ghost stories, spoooky, food was pretty decent as I said before, again though the server was pretty cool, super busy but also not that busy. The fireplace was a nice touch and all the architecture of the place was dope.

Yelp
We came for a wedding Saturday night on 10/04/25. I was one of the coordinators and arrived before the party. Samantha and the crew of servers were 10/10. They were all extremely accommodating with great attitudes throughout the entire evening. We saw how busy the entire restaurant was and yet they maintained professional and proactive service despite high demands. Their energy and hospitality was highly recognized. From setting the tables, florals, and name cards all the way to assisting with clean up and loading up our shuttle.

Yelp
To start, we enjoyed the Burrata and polenta, both of which were absolutely delightful. For the mains, we opted for the Carbonara and Carre d'Agnello, each impressing us with its rich, authentic flavors. The service was attentive, and as the evening unfolded, the restaurant filled up, creating a lively and welcoming ambiance. A charming spot in Santa Rosa--definitely worth returning to!

Will definitely go back if i have to go to Santa Rosa again!!

Yelp
My husband and I dined at Ca'Bianca for our anniversary and were so happy to find dishes that reminded of our time in Italy. The gnocchi and tomato sauce were simple, but flavorful, with the gnocchi having the perfect texture. The lobster ravioli special that night was wonderfully prepared and the delicate sauce allowed the lobster flavor to stand out. My husband was happy to have both sauces for scarpetta. Our server, Ale, was lovely and attentive the whole evening, and allowed to us to take our time and savor the whole meal. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
We made reservations for a table of 4 on valentines. Unfortunately, the couple we were going with cancelled last minute. The restaurant was understanding, which I appreciated. For dinner I tried the Bolognese pasta, gnocchi, and Caesar salad, and all three dishes were absolutely delicious. The pasta was rich and flavorful, probably the best I've had in a long time, the gnocchi was perfectly soft and pillowy, and the Caesar salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. Everything tasted well-prepared and high quality. I also tried the Italian Lemon drop which was pretty tasty. Now the service, it was just okay. The server wasn't particularly attentive or engaging, which took away from the overall experience a bit. That said, the food was definitely the highlight, and I'd come back for that alone.

Yelp
Step back in time with a turn of the century Victorian Home converted to a lovely, romantic Italian Restaurant. Went there for lunch with friends and really enjoyed ourselves. Each table is presented with warm fresh baked bread with Evoo and Balsamic vinegar for dipping. There is a luncheon special menu along with the main menu to select from. Everything looks delicious and we chose the Panino. Yum! Service is warm and professional. We must go back and try their handmade pasta.

Ca Bianca in Santa Rosa is a mansion converted to an Italian restaurant. Definitely one of the prettiest places to enjoy a meal. You can experience several dining settings here. Inside, there are dark and intimate dining areas. Outside, a huge patio that can host a festive wedding party or other big celebration. The three of us ate in a more casual setting - brightly lit room with lots of wall art and bird cages. The food is excellent. Although they don't have a kid's menu, the kitchen can easily whip up a custom order. Our 4yo loves penne with lemon butter sauce with a side of chicken. We ordered: * Smoking Banana Cocktail: A sweet-tart martini with some fruitiness. * Alaskan Halibut Piccata: Fish was moist and side veggies were seasoned well. I opted for penne pasta instead of potatoes. * Linguine Clam Vongole: Wife enjoyed this dish, though she found one un-opened clam. * Polenta: A bit too much marinara sauce here, but otherwise good dish. Save some of that sauce with the free bread. * Panna Cotta: Super smooth and tart. Our 4yo bormally favors cheesecake but he also enjoyed this classic Italian dessert. A fun, interesting place to dine and great for a date or a big get together. It feels like dining in someone's home and not a typical restaurant.

Yelp
Food was really good and nothing to knock. We had great food, bread was yummy, and dessert were great as well. The only thing I am concerned is the pricing of the food. Luckily I was not the one paying, but the taste of the food did not match the price of it. Paying nearly $30 dollars for pasta is a bit out of price. If you would like a lovely cute dinner and do not mind paying for pricey food this is an amazing place to go. We ordered take out, so I did not come across any service. Also, there is a lot of seafood options and I am not too big on seafood, so probably would not try other stuff. Eggplant parm and gnocchi was decent as well.

Yelp
Wow! I hadn't been here for a while, and now I am sorry. Either I had forgotten how good it is, or they have upped their game since I was there last. Either way - Ca Bianca is doing a great job! We crashed them at 7:30 on a Saturday night, and got seated in the bar - which was awesome. It was cozy and we got to chat with the staff about the food. The front patios have grown up a lot since I was there last - and those spots looked fantastic! Service was friendly, respinsive, and on point. We had a range of dishes, starting with a tuna carpaccio, a beet salad, and burrata. All of them were excellent and filled with lots of tasty additions. The list of light soda-based cocktails on the menu were also great! I had the Pollo for dinner, and my partner had the butternut squash ravioli. Both were excellent - but the Pollo was truly special! Chicken breast with spinach, mozzarella, and pancetta, wrapped in a pastry crust and placed in a bed of a creamy balsamic sauce was incredible. A perfect balance of tang, sweetness, and balanced flavoring. Think Italian cordon Bleu. It is my new favorite! We finished with dessert cocktails and the panna cotta - which was a perfect finale. We loved the whole experience start to finish! Thank you Ca Bianca!

Yelp
This might be the restaurant of my dreams! I have never been to a restaurant more gorgeous than this one. My partner and I made reservations here for our anniversary, and once we arrived we were seated immediately. We had requested a balcony table and were seated on the balcony overlooking the beautiful front gardens, and they even turned on fairy lights after sunset! All of the food and drinks we ordered were delicious, but we will particularly be coming back for the gnocchi appetizer!

Yelp
Was treated to dinner here to celebrate with a friend so no photos. This is a hidden gem in Santa Rosa. After living here for 11 years I had never heard about it. From the on site parking you take a flower covered path to the front of an old Victorian house. There is indoor seating, covered patio and garden seating. I definitely recommend sitting outside because the atmosphere and foliage is so special. Recommend reservations and a light jacket since the wind often picks up in the early evening. Friendly greeting, we sat on the patio and just relaxed, the service was friendly and attentive. Our waiter explained the specials and answered our other questions. He was also knowledgeable about the wine list. We had a delicious Caesar Salad and the Ca'Bianca salad. Everything in the salads was very fresh and the dressings complimented but didn't overwhelm the tastes. The clam Vongole is a pasta dish loaded with plump clams and a delicious sauce, the Carbonara was good but the abundance of the pancetta made it too salty. We enjoyed the Prosecco and a fruity Chardonnay. No room for dessert. This came very close to feeling like being in Italy and I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Wonderful italian. Best in santa rosa by far. Elias was a fantastic server. Professional and attentive. I don't even like a lot of Italian food in norcal since it never seems to be the quality I am used to. This has changed my mind . The atmosphere is also delightful!

Yelp
my experience was quite the rollercoaster. I initially had a less-than-ideal table in the bar area, which I take full responsibility for. The atmosphere felt a bit cramped, and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, luck was on my side when a beautiful garden table became available shortly after we arrived, completely transforming the evening. Once we were settled inside, the service started off a bit rocky. It took longer than expected to get our orders in and drink refills, which was frustrating at first. But I was pleasantly surprised when things turned around as we got our new table--the staff became attentive and helpful, making the rest of our time there much more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was exceptional. The bread was warm and fresh, the tuna special was delightfully flavorful, and the pasta vongole was a highlight, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also enjoyed delicious martinis and gin drinks that complemented our meal wonderfully. Bianca is truly a stunning restaurant for al fresco dining, offering a lovely atmosphere in the garden. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the food, drinks, and the eventual improvement in service made for a memorable dining experience. I would definitely recommend giving it a try

Yelp
Wanted to love this place but our $200 dinner lacked flavor, service, and ambiance. Not sure where all these incredible reviews came from. My husband and I are in town for the weekend. He planned dinner and got a reservation at what he deemed "the best restaurant in Santa Rosa". I pulled up the menu and was so excited for gnocchi with brown butter, tomato, and sage and the lamb with herbs and balsamic. We were seated in the back room by the room entrance. Not ideal but also not worth asking to be seated at another table, didn't want to be "that person". Our waiter greeted us and was pleasant enough but could tell he was new as he had trouble with the specials and was just a bit awkward/uncomfortable energy. We opted for the scallop appetizer special as it sounded flavorful with bacon and butter. $24 for 3 scallops with minimal flavor but edible. I added salt and pepper after tasting. Not wowed so far but hoping the mains will redeem the evening. The gnocchi arrived on a plate and was drenched in a red sauce. Not what I expected, I had hoped the browned butter and sage would be the stars. Was offered Parmesan and accepted as the dish needed more flavor. It's dried parm, not fresh grated by the way. Asked for cracked pepper. Never received. After about 5 minutes and our waiter walking past a few times I decided to salt and pepper with what was on the table. Didn't fix it. Honestly, I kept calling the gnocchi "ragú" as in from the grocery store but my husband finally said spaghetti-o's and that's definitely more the flavor. Gnocchi itself was well-prepared as it had a good consistency but the flavor was just bland and honestly that of canned tomato sauce. Lamb was better than the gnocchi but not by much. Served with maybe a single mini potato sliced into 6 pieces and some green beans. Temp of the meat was appropriate and the herbs were nice but it just was okay. Not good or great. After all that, we decided to skip dessert and go elsewhere for ice cream. We won't be back and we won't recommend to any friends or family.

Yelp
I love it here every time I come. The vibes! The food! The wine! I love it all. The outdoor seating is the best. Staff are so friendly.

Yelp
Ca Bianca is a Santa Rosa classic. I've been coming here for over 20 years. The charm of the staff and ambiance of the old Victorian building does not disappoint. Indoor or out has been private and romantic. The drinks from the bar do not disappoint try the Negroni "perfection". My wife loves the salmon or the fish specials which happened to be halibut that night. I love the lamb. I honestly don't think we come here enough.

Yelp
The ambiance is beautiful, the restaurant is in a house with tables out in the patio and background. The greenery and fountains were picturesque. The food was good but could've had a little bit more flavor. The sauce felt a little bland but they had good portions. The service was good. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the specials and explained each dish. Bus service was great, asking if we needed more water or bread.
