Every detail is considered, from the strict green practices it follows to the beautifully kept gardens to the fresh baked cookies that come with the nightly turn-down service. The estate includes four acres of organic fruits and vegetables, olive groves, and espaliers of figs and pears used in house-made condiments and vinaigrettes, and the culinary program continues to evolve classic menus using produce harvested from the property’s own gardens and orchards." - Kristin Braswell Kristin Braswell Kristin Braswell is a travel journalist and the founder of CrushGlobal Travel. My sister and I had a terrific stay at the Vinarosa. After a minor room snafu, Elena fixed us up with excellent (ADA friendly) accommodations. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. The John Ash restaurant was superb. We had beautifully prepared, healthy food out on a lovely patio overlooking the vineyard. Everything was top-notch and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Where do I begin? Check in was challenging. The room was nice and about what I expected. Better than average. But, that's where the niceness stops. After check out, I received outrageous charges: $50 a night for "resort fee" and $7 a night for "resort fee tax." In addition, $1 per night for "community impact program" and a "retail wine" charge of $50, for what, I do not know. I never ordered or drank any wine at the hotel. Then, I received another charge of $12.63 with no explanation. These charges were in addition to the actual room rate. I fully expect more hidden charges to arrive. Once they have your credit card, they tack on whatever charges they want and once they have your money, getting it back is nearly impossible. I was born and raised in California and although I love the geography, I absolutely hate everything else, including the cost of living and visiting. Never again. Glad I moved away. A 3-day trip cost about $5000 and rising. I won't even talk about the rental car. Worst and most expensive experience of the trip. If you have more money than sense, stay here. You might enjoy it. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Specifically, another state!

I have nothing but LOVE for Vinarossa. As a DJ who has played here on multiple occasions its a great place for private events and weddings. The food, bar service and dance atmosphere just works! There is also a really nice spot for ceremonies, cocktail hour and dinner hour outside of their newly renovated ballroom. Its definitely worth considering Vinarosa as your next venue for your special day.

Absolutely gorgeous property with great food and amazing service. You feel welcomed and Relaxed the minute you walk in. Greeted with glass of Champagne. They leave cookies each night on your bed as a treat. The bedding and linens are so soft and smell amazing. There is a fireplace in the room with robes and slippers. It’s amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Vinarosa Hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming from the start. Our room was spotless, stylish, and spacious, with thoughtful details throughout—from luxe linens to local decor. The location was quiet yet close to great restaurants and sights. I loved the in-house baked goods and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The farm-to-table restaurant, John Ash, was a highlight—don’t miss it! Vinarosa has the perfect balance between relaxed charm and attentive service. I’m already planning my next stay here, hopefully for a family reunion!

If you truly want a beautiful resort, look no further! The rooms are recently renovated and absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms are very modern and super clean. |The soaking tub is also fabulous. |The service is top notch.|You can also walk the vineyard and taste the local grapes.

Google
We really enjoyed staying at the Vinarosa resort It was a little piece of heaven ! The accommodations were lovely and the entire experience of being there was relaxing and joyous. They even scheduled us to go to some wine tastings and special events . Trinity, Avery, Ron, Alexa and Raul were all fantastic ❣️ The restaurant, pool area, spa and grounds were wonderful. We had so much fun making s'mores by the fire at night!! I highly recommend this lovely place!!

Google
The recent renovations are amazing! The farm-to-table John Ash restaurant is unbeatable. We have now visited before and after the renovation and believe they hit a home run on this resort!

Yelp
Stayed at this resort for our baby moon. Cozy and quiet. We unfortunately did not know their pool was being renovated (did not say anywhere on the website when we booked). Minus a star for that as I NEEDED a pool for my growing belly bump. But they did made up for it by giving us a day pass to a sister resort nearby. They have 2 restaurants on site, River Vine and John Ash & Co (bar inside is The Front Room). They have a spa and lots of activities around (bocce ball, life size chess, corn hole, fire pit, etc.). Overall a good stay for us! Everyone was nice and friendly.

Yelp
An amazing resort and highly recommended for family vacation and even great for couples due to the romantic setting. The entire staff were incredibly friendly, the cleanliness of the rooms that are cozy especially during our stay when it rained. Excellent dining experience and my compliments to Chef Sergio creating something very special with the exquisite flavors that truly complements the surrounding of the resort.

Yelp
The room was nice and clean. We got a vineyard view, fireplace & a bath tub. The staff was very welcoming. However, I wouldn't stay here again because our bed was horrible! We got the King size and it was so uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows as well. the hotel did allow an early check we appreciated. Two hours into checking in, room cleaning service came by knocked on the door and I said "who's there" they knocked again and keyed themselves in!! I found that so inappropriate. I felt unsafe the rest of the evening. The doors do not have that extra top lock security.

Yelp
I will never love another resort like I do this one. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the magic of this place. It looks straight out of a fairytale. It's beautiful, clean, and homey. Our room was perfect and so clean, I was surprised. As someone who is skeptical when traveling to hotels / resorts, I was beyond impressed. The staff was very kind and I'll never forget the fresh cookies we received every night before returning to our room. The on-site vineyards are so beautiful and romantic. Seeing them at sunset is even better. It was such an experience. The detail put into this place is immaculate. The on site restaurants are delicious and there is so much to do nearby. I love Vintners and recommend everyone coming to Napa to stay here!!!! You will NOT regret it!!

Yelp
While the place is absolutely stunning from the outside, the rooms were in dire need of an upgrade and there were several things that didn't make it very safe for single female travelers. The pros: -A gorgeous garden area with walking trails -Nightly turndown service with cookies -A free welcome bottle of wine and complimentary water -A super cool heating lamp outside the shower/bathtub (that should be mandatory everywhere) -Beautiful walking trails -A very good on-site restaurant -15 min. drive from downtown Healdsburg The cons: -The buildings where my room was located could be accessed without a key card. Although a key card scanner was present, the door were unlocked at all times. -When I entered the room, the door to the outside patio was not locked. That's scary, because anyone of the street could have easily walked in. While the patios are charming the easy access to anyone of the street didn't help me sleep well. Avoid getting a room on the first floor. -The bed was oddly warped in the middle. Not sure what was going on there. -The bathroom didn't provide sufficient lighting to do your make up. If I looked like a clown during my stay, you now know why. -The bathtub was oddly tall. Definitely from the 80's I feel that I would have been more comfortable if I wouldn't have been by myself on the first floor. But the bathrooms still need some major updating.

Yelp
We booked through a third party and although we got placed in an ADA room and the pool was undergoing maintenance, we appreciated the hospitality. That said, they had a caldarium that was available for use, which was pretty cool! They offered to also waive the resort fees due to the pool closure and were able to obtain a resort pass for my partner and I to get access to an alternative facility, which was very kind. I would consider staying here again conditional on the pool being open and available for use

Yelp
What a beautiful, relaxing weekend Vintners Resort, my wife and I got away for a couple days, and we will go back again. The room was insane! The food was top notch! The resort overall was beautiful, peaceful, and the service was fantastic! The restaurants on site are all home runs, with service and food, we even went on a redwood adventure! All in all I had a great time with my beautiful wife for our 17 year anniversary! 10/10 resort! We will be back!

Yelp
This is a lovely place to stay. Our room is cozy. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfasts are amazing and I love the freshly squeezed juices available. But probably the best thing is the customer service. The manager, Elena, really goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are having a wonderful stay. Will be returning again. Highly recommend.

Yelp
So, good points, disappointing points... Had a King Balcony Fireplace room with Vineyard View. Each 'adjective' is an upgrade. Great view of the vineyard, room nicely appointed and updated. Had breakfast on our way out, great meal. Fireplace didn't operate. Noted that at 900pm on Sunday so not inclined to call down for 'repair' when in robes before going to bed. Room wasn't ready at 4pm checkin time so waited in the car for our keys. No one at the front desk let us know that all items in the minbar were included. No room handbook [how to operate the fireplace, hotel policies, etc.]. To their credit they removed the resort fees each day, once for the delay in checkin, the other for the non op fireplace. For a 'destination' resort at $400 per nite they should have this on autopilot.

Yelp
Fabulous resort and amazing service. When I booked our room I made sure to let reservations know that it was a stay for our anniversary and a bucket list trip. I can't say enough that the resort made sure that our room had a beautiful view. The grounds were meticulously maintained and we were even able to walk the footpath around the vineyard. The bar had a great abbreviated menu with delicious food. Don't pass on the baked oysters, they're delicious. Turn down service is wonderful complete with 2 baked cookies. The attention to details was perfect. Actually overwhelming in a great way. Thank you to everyone at Vintner's Resort for making trip an unforgettable one.

Yelp
This resort is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a wedding! The grounds are very well maintained when we went at the end of September. There is a spa, restaurant and bocce ball. I especially loved how gorgeous the reception and ballroom was. Very little decor is needed since the resort is already beautiful as it is. We didn't stay at the resort, but I did get ready in one of my friend's suite. I love how there was an outdoor balcony with a bistro set, so that you can sip your coffee and people watch in the morning. There's also a pool too. I didn't see where the elevator was, but luckily we had nice working legs to walk up the two flight of stairs. It is also located near Graton Casino, so if you're looking for something to do besides wine tasting, then there are concerts or other activities nearby. Definitely one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to.

Yelp
Had the best time celebrating a birthday and anniversary at the Vintners Resort. Very clean, updated and nice accommodations. All the staff were welcoming and had the best weekend! They have complimentary wine tastings that are fun to meet other guests staying on the property.

Dietmar A.

Yelp
Easily accessible from the highway, yet far enough away to not be bothered by road noise. Beautiful buildings and grounds. Wonderful amenities in the room and lovely views of the vineyards. Very attentive staff. Elegant dining and bar on property with reasonable pricing.

Yelp
Beautiful place to stay at for wine, vineyard views, or (like I did) to attend a wedding in Nov 2021. So so beautiful in all seasons, and friendly staff that we encountered. Would love to come back to stay a night and enjoy what the resort has to offer.

Yelp
I bought a gift certificate for the spa for my sister over a year ago. When she went to redeem it (this week) she said that they refused her gift certificate because the "company that issues the gift certificate holds the information after a year". They young man at the counter told her to call the company. She then had to pay out of pocket. She called the spa again today and they had no clue what she was talking about. They have ruined her relaxing experience. I'm very disappointed.

Yelp
We stayed at this resort for two days. A very spacious room may be a little bit too much for us. They did have a nice refrigerator and the AC did not make a lot of noise. We could hear the people on both sides of us a few times. The grounds were lovely and everybody was very friendly. We ate at their breakfast restaurant one day. Our server was Vickie and she was very attentive. The breakfast was just average nothing spectacular, the prices were OK.

Yelp
We had our wedding at Vintners about a month ago and everything was more than perfect! We initially booked with Vintners in 2018 for a wedding in 2020, but due to the pandemic, we unfortunately had to reschedule for 2021. We worked with Jessica to find a new date and to reschedule our hotel room as well. For it being such a difficult time in the world, we were happy that rescheduling our entire wedding was a simple process. Vintners is such a beautiful location and truly the perfect place for a wedding. The best part is that because it is a resort, you can easily get ready on site and then have a hotel room for after the wedding right on site as well. The room we got was perfect for getting ready in and had ample space for 10 women, 2 girls, 3 hair and makeup artists, 2 photographers, and our wedding coordinator. Every single location at Vintners is unique and a great photo opportunity for wedding pictures. You can go in the vineyard as well as an olive tree grove. We loved all of our wedding pictures and are so glad that Vintners keeps their grounds pretty and well maintained. There are a million things that I can say about Vintners and how great the venue is for a wedding so if you are thinking about a wedding at Vintners (or even just a weekend getaway), I highly recommend it. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it! We will definitely be going back for our anniversary!

Yelp
Grounds were nice, got bit by something in bed overnight which ruined the experience. Woke up with two red bites/marks on my arm, did notice cob webs and spiders in the room. Don't know what ended up causing them but would have been nice to go without

Yelp
I have never been so disappointed in an establishment. My wife and I came here for me birthday...and I wish I never would have never have came. Poor service Over cooked steak Disrespectful staff Manager and assistant manager LAUGHED IN MY FACE. worst experience I have had in my life. Thanks for ruining this day for me and my wife. PLEASE choose elsewhere.... Please choose an establishment that CARES

Yelp
This is our second stay at this resort. Very charming! The grounds are quiet, beautiful and peaceful and you feel like you are the only guests here. You can walk through the vineyards and the rooms are very spacious. Nice to have two restaurants on site. We stayed in building 300 this time and it was a bit musty smelling but that is my only complaint and everything else outweighs this small issue.

T D.

Yelp
I did not stay at this Resort but just going there and thinking about staying there I was not very impressed. If I am going to spend over $500 for a 1 night stay then the front desk should be full of alot of enthusiasm and energy. When I ask the front desk " why I would want to stay here" - to me that person should be able to come up with at least 2 to 3 reasons. The person I spoke with couldn't really think of any other than the restaurant. I will pass on staying at the Resort there are alot of others with better pricing and much more customer service.
google avatar

Alena W.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my solo getaway at Vintners Inn! The grounds are gorgeous, my room was lovely and the room service was delicious. It's pricey but...treat yo self.

Yelp
Great location in the middle of the Sonoma Valley - very convenient. Rooms were clean - not spectacular but a good, solid 4-star inn. Would definitely stay here again.

Fernando U.

Yelp
This review is not about Vintner Inn's (VI) nor John Ash & Co restaurant's products or service. This review is strictly about VI's credit policies and how off-putting it is. According to Vintners Inn 's policy, if you have any credit at the inn, for whatever reason, your credit will expire 1yr from the date of credit - no ands, ifs, or buts!! We had a few hundred dollars credit at the Inn. Regardless of the number of times I contacted the Inn, asking if I could extend the credit time limit, as we were not able to return to VI before the expiration date, I was denied the extension. When I called today for the last time, I asked the front desk representative if there was any way the expiration date could be extended as a courtesy, given our situation, she simply replied with "No." In other words, because of this policy you get no product or service for your credit (money), or any refund, in full or in part. It seems that VI is ok with stealing your money regardless if they earned it or not. In the past, we used to frequent John Ash & Co, as well as recommend the Inn to our family and friends. Unfortunately, this will not be the case going forward due to the Inn's inflexible, inconsiderate credit/refund policy. A loss for all parties concerned. If you're planning a visit to VI or John Ash enjoy yourselves. Just be sure to use up any credit you may have on account. Otherwise, you might find yourself unknowingly contributing to the management team's annual bonus. Good business practice? You decide.

Yelp
I stayed here as a guest for a wedding recently. It's a beautiful resort and venue. The wedding turned out great. The rooms need a lot of updating. For about $500/night, I expected the rooms to be in better condition. Many of the appliances didn't work and a few things in the room were broken. It wasn't just our room either. This was the case for many of the other guests' rooms too. Most importantly, the A/C wasn't working in a lot of the rooms and despite complaints, it was never resolved.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
I had high hopes for Vintners based on the research and some of the exterior photos. The location is very pretty and the buildings, ivy-covered exteriors, and lush grounds are a pleasant little oasis. Unfortunately it just does not live up to the price. The rooms are somewhat dated for the price and there was nowhere to eat the room service breakfast - only one chair at the desk, and no tables to eat at the standalone couches. We ended up having to drag a bench across the room to eat at the desk. This is not the end of the world but is not excusable for a place that starts at $300/night. This is before resort fees, which are still charged despite being closed during the pandemic. The room does come with a half bottle of their sauv blanc but it is not good wine. We were visiting for a wedding and some of the inexplicable choices continued through the event. As another review noted, the grass in the wedding area was not manicured which made it difficult to navigate in dress shoes (not to mention the ladies' heels). The service at dinner was poor: it was impossible to flag down staff for drink refills. When we got someone's attention, the whole table had empty glasses so the waiter left with 5-6 drink orders. They would return having mixed up some of the orders. This happened multiple times over the course of the night. On the plus side, the cocktail was strong and well made. Did we have fun at the wedding? Yes. Is the newly married couple happy? Yes. Is Vintners Resort worth the money? Nope.

Asha S.

Yelp
Very nice place. Waiter was a show off. The spa was amazing. Definitely a place to go and relax. Will visit again.

Yelp
We stayed here last year and had a relaxing great time....... This year not so much.....yes, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are charming....the staff is great......... BUT, boy is this a LOUD place if you are looking for some R&R. People seem to come here to PARTY. We stayed 3 nights and never had a peaceful night of rest. This is a popular place for weddings, and large groups. When larger groups of people overindulge in alcohol they can get loud......there seems to be an absolute disregard for guests who are not here to stay up all night drinking. It's a bit disappointing that they do not separate the wedding guest from the other guest, looking for a relaxing quiet time. We initially had a courtyard room, which we absolutely loved, only to discover that people gathered and partied in the court yard into the late hours of the night. I did call the font desk and saw the guy go out and tell the guests to quiet down....but unfortunately, he did not have much influence on the rowdy crowd. The next night we moved to a room facing the parking lot of the hotel - only to discover that this location was even louder, as we could hear the party in the Bridal suite (in our building) all night long!! I really want to come back to this property, we love the location so very much, but they would need to be able to put us in a quiet building, reserved for guest not associated with weddings or other large parties. Why is this not being done?

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying overnight and having a business meeting here and it was a fantastic experience. My hotel room was in one of the new buildings (the 800 building) and was large and beautifully furnished. There was a nice seating area with a fireplace and a patio with a couple of chairs. The bathroom was also large and the shower was huge! The room has plenty of outlets and USB charging ports. Our meeting was in the Executive Board Room, which has very comfortable chairs and a very large table. The staff for the hotel and meeting space were terrific and the lunch was not only tasty, they accommodated my gluten-free diet by making most of the selections at the buffet gluten-free. I've stayed at other wine-country resorts and this experience was the best of them all.

Yelp
This place is fabulous, from the minute you check in to the beautiful spacious luxurious room , you feel like you are a VIP! We have been here before and each and every time it's over the top relaxing and wonderful! Heading to John Ash restaurant on site , which is always a mouth watering taste bud delight! Perfect get away , thank you Vintners Resort, you are a breath of fresh air after a rough couple Covid years! I'm sooo happy to be back

Yelp
After a nearly 6-year absence we booked the Vintners Inn for a weekend stay in wine country based on our very fond memories of our last visit. We arrived late on a misty/rainy evening and were checked in quickly and efficiently by the lone front desk clerk. Our room on the second floor of the 300 building had a soaring ceiling, small electric simulated fireplace, nice large bathroom with soaker tub and granite countertops, big King-sized bed and even a small balcony overlooking a budding vineyard. Everything was clean, updated and in excellent condition - clearly the owner continues to reinvest in this lovely property. While the bed was overly soft (for my tastes) my wife really like it. This property continues to a picturesque oasis in wine country. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Well..... This was just a marvelous stay. Found this gem on Travel Zoo and it included 2 free wine tastings, a 50 dollar credit to John Ash and half off breakfast, but we did not partake in those. Also a Spa credit we did not use. We checked in and LOVED our room. It was so comfortable and quiet. That evening we ate at John Ash...will do a separate review at that Yelp site. Next morning enjoyed some delicious coffee and walked the two mile path through Vinyards...just glorious! Both wine tastings were great and we had a 10 dollar off voucher to the Cousteaux bakery for lunch. I am not kidding...this was glorious. We bought some wine and enjoyed it on our terrace at night. They also had a half bottle complimentary for our arrival and did a nightly turn down with cookies and tea in each complex. I will definitely be back... Just LOVED IT!
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
This place was such a great getaway spot. We found a travelzoo deal and are so glad we took the plunge. Checking in was easy, our rooms were right on the first floor. Huge room with a mini patio, the amenities were great. The bed seems like it was going to be lumpy and uncomfortable but it was sooo comfy. Even their IHOME was updated! included complimentary mini bottle of wine. Loved the fact that we had HH and dinner right next door and could walk home buzzed. The grounds were so lovely, and if I wasn't already married, I'd inquire to have a wedding here. They have coffee and hot water in the building for you when you wake up, and a restaurant for breakfast. Just thinking about it, I wish I was there. Till next time!

Camille W.

Yelp
The grounds are pretty and we had a relaxing weekend but Vintner's left something to be desired. The rooms are outdated, definitely need a refresh. The bed was sloped and probably needed a new mattress. The carpets in the hallways seem old and musty. The pool is quite small, which was okay since there weren't many people using it but the lounge chairs were cheap and most were broken. There is no hot tub. Apparently, there is some kind of hot jet pool in the spa area but you don't have access to it unless you are getting a spa treatment, and even then you have a two hr window to use it. It's also right off the highway, which can be heard when you're at the pool. All in all, we wouldn't return.

Yelp
I had the best day of my life at Vintners Inn. If you are looking for a wedding venue.. this is your place! I got married here in September and it was the most amazing day. I have gotten so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was. My husband and I are locals. When we first started looking for venues, we honestly were not looking for a venue in Santa Rosa at all. We originally wanted our venue to be in Napa or Sonoma, but I am SO GLAD we found this venue and booked them instead. First of all, the food and wine selection are out of this world. Everything tasted so amazing. Second, open bar. Many wineries are beer and wine only, and let's be real, we wanted an open bar. Third, it's actually affordable and they do SO MUCH for you which is so helpful if you are planning a wedding and makes it worth every penny. Linens, all glassware, wait staff, food, desserts, alcohol, dance floor, tables, chairs, silverware, MARKET LIGHTING, easles, chalkboards, THEY HAVE IT ALL THERE! Saved me sooo much money and time. I need to give Denette a shout out. She is the events coordinator there and she is so amazing. She helped us so much throughout the entire process. I can't count the amount of times we reached out to her with questions or requests and she was always there for us! Thank you Denette and Vintners Inn!
google avatar

Ryan A.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel tucked away right off the freeway in Santa Rosa. One would not know this was a hotel judging by the tall silencing walls (Much needed) surrounding the grounds. Once you get inside you are immediately sucked into a mini Italian village esque hotel. I guess I will get the basics out of the way, yes its somewhat expensive, but it is a great location if you are in the area for vacation as it sits in the median between wine country and the large city of Santa Rosa. Parking is free for guests staying at the hotel and quite ample, and also free for guests visiting the John Ash restaurant. Speaking of John Ash, this is not your typical hotel type diner that really is focused on filling you up versus enjoying the food. They offer some great italian dining with a great happy hour and of course a great wine selection. Now for the rooms, I have experienced the standard room and the suite and both are wonderful! Very spacious, yet a private experience with most accompanied by a balcony. The grounds offer bocce ball, a small garden for relaxing and a nice route for runners to help burn off some calories. All and all, this is a wonderful hotel that I at least get to experience once a year for work purposes and enjoy it every time.

Yelp
My husband and I got married at Vintners Inn last month on June 14th. We couldn't have had a more perfect day in a more perfect setting! From the very beginning, the staff at the Vintners Inn were so helpful and amazing, especially Denette Huffman and Julia Marble. Our wedding was picture perfect, exactly as we had always imagined it, and it went off without a hitch. Denette and Julia were extremely organized, personable, and professional. From the moment we went to the Vintners Inn, we knew we'd found the right wedding venue - we felt so at home and so happy there. The Vintners Inn grounds are gorgeous, and the rooms are beautiful as well. We stayed in the Junior Suite with a view of the vineyard and it was very spacious and amazing. Our other guests stayed in the regular rooms and they loved those rooms as well. The breakfast was also amazing, and we loved the happy hour at the Front Room Bar and Lounge. Our wedding guests all said the same thing to us after the wedding - that everything went perfectly and they had the most wonderful time. We owe Denette so many thanks for how perfectly everything turned out - she really is great at her job and so friendly and upbeat - just what you want when you are planning your wedding. I would recommend the Vintners Inn to anyone planning a wedding, or anyone who wants somewhere really nice to stay in the wine country. It's the most beautiful, relaxing setting. Thank you to everyone at the Vintners Inn for making our special day SO incredible!!! We still daydream about that day, and I think we will for many, many, many years to come.

Yelp
This hotel was beautiful. Loved the vaulted ceilings and soaking tubs. The fire place is perfect . The gift of wine and cookies in the room was a nice touch. The grounds are in great shape with lots of anemities. I loved that you could walk to dinner and not have to worry about what you drank at dinner, you can just walk back to your room. The only drawback for me was that it is a non smoking grounds so there was nowhere I could see that I can have a smoke (which I only do after drinking).

Yelp
My wife and I were looking forward to our weekend getaway at Vintner, however, we were extremely disappointed. Evidently "due to Covid-19" they gutted and stripped the room for all amenities including the coffee machine and leaving us one set of towels....of course for our safety. I guess coffee machines and amenities are a high risk thing. The AC didn't work and the staff said they would have a manager talk to us in the morning (ok, we will just sweat through the night). Room service was slow and had to come back 3 times because they kept forgetting what we ordered. I seriously would have been better off at the Best Western.

Yelp
We went to a wedding here. It was a nice hotel, but expensive and there was quite a bit of noise from a different wedding the previous evening to our room. The food was good.

Yelp
This Inn is simply fabulous! My husband and I were up in wine country for a quick getaway, and this find was perfect! We were there this past week when there was nothing but rain rain rain, so we weren't able to use the Bocce court, pool, walk the grounds, or enjoy our balcony which overlooked a vineyard, but we still had an amazing stay. Our very spacious room was beautifully decorated with high ceilings, fun fireplace, gorgeous bathroom, complimentary wine, and water bottles. They even had a large umbrella in the room for us to use! Wow! It really is the little things that make a stay so special. Most hotels overlook that these days. We dined on site at The Front Room Bar & Lounge. The John Ash & Co. restaurant looked beautiful with big booths, etc., but we always choose the liveliness of the bar area. Our bartenders were "on it" with great service, great recommendations, and we enjoyed the food immensely! Delish! Our entire experience from arrival to departure was perfect!

Yelp
We were scheduled to visit this resort in October for a wedding. However, due to the pandemic we were forced to cancel. I called to cancel the reservation 2 months in advance of our original reservation and spoke to Alexis (Reservation Manager). She told me that she would cancel my reservation but I had to pay a non refundable deposit. I tried to understand why I needed to pay a deposit considering that I was cancelling the reservation 2 months in advance. Alexis had no interest in hearing me out, and continued to cut me off. She was curt, and disrespectful when I questioned her why I needed to pay a non refundable deposit. Her answer was that it costs the hotel $$ to cancel the reservation. Huh? Most hotels have a cancellation policy. But not Vintners. Seeing that I was not getting anywhere with Alexis. I asked her to transfer me to the General Manager of the hotel. I left a voicemail for the GM (Percy) and explained the situation. I never heard back from him. I left a follow up call the next day, and still no call back. Because of the lack of customer service, I am now unfortunately forced to write a negative review about the hotel. During these trying times, you would think that the hotel would pay attention to their customers and hear them out. I don't think that it is too much to ask for the GM of the hotel to return my call and explain his position. Apparently, this hotel has is too arrogant to return calls and their top down approach is to ignore their customers feedback. Unfortunately, their approach starts at the top and trickles down to the management team. I guess that's why there are so many negative reviews about this hotel.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights.LOVED every minute. This is not a cutting edge resort. It's relaxing, comfortable, and spotless. We never eat at hotels, but did so here, just to enjoy the lovely ambiance. Everyone who works at the resort are helpful, friendly, and funny. We took advantage of the Sunday night burger special. The burgers we're fantastic. On Monday we stumbled on the no corkage fee promotion. Also enjoyed that meal. This little perks aside, the Vintners Inn is a peaceful and serene place. Loved the morning coffee, turn down service, and the overall charm. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Not one complaint.

Yelp
Spent New Years Eve here with my wife. Room as very large and nicely appointed. Balcony was a plus. Had a decent time but probably would not come back. Check in is not until 4 pm which is not listed on their web site. There is NO COFFEE MAKER in the room. One would think this as a basic amenity at any Hotel but not here. Complimentary coffee is not served until 6 am in the foyer. Doesn't work for me since I'm awake at 5 am and drink tea in the evening. Drove out to the nearby Target to get a cheap coffee maker to make up and salvage my sanity. The room that we stayed in was in need of some repair and the price of $250+ per night for the room does not relate to the what you receive. The refrigerator was dirty and missing shelves. DVD player was broken and remote inop. Levers on the bath tub do not line up. Remote to the fireplace was extremely worn. No coffee maker in the room to name a few things that were off during our stay. Skip the lounge here at the John Ash and Co restaurant. Came here for a early drink to start New Years Eve and was met by a long wait to get a menu. They changed up the bar menu so you were not able to order the normal bar menu which was not advertised. Met with a lot of strange stare from the local patrons. Not sure what that was about exactly whether it was related to our dress/appearance, ethnicity or ??? Definitely did not feel comfortable or welcome here. Finished our drinks and left. Made the best of it and salvaged the weekend as best as possible. The grounds were beautiful. Probably won't come back here due to our experience.

Yelp
If you want HOT food ask your waiter for it! I had Butternut Soup ($12) that was lukewarm and my Zinfandel Lamb Shank ($35) tasted like it was missing the zinfandel and was also lukewarm. We shared the Calamari ($15) and it was mediocre. The Parker Hills Rolls ($6) were good but since there were 6 of us we only got a bite each. Since it was a Birthday celebration and there were 6 of us I did not complain. It was over the top expensive for mediocre lukewarm food. I would not go back. We were there on 11/20/21

Yelp
Food's mediocre at best and way overpriced. The only reason I'm giving a second star is because the service is good.

Yelp
Quaint and quiet little oasis. Nice rooms, lots of open space and soothing fountains. The RiverCafe's breakfast was excellent! Homemade scones and fresh blueberry jam! They are adding a pool and spa that should be done in the next several months.

Yelp
I booked a Courtyard Junior Suite through Booking.com. I received confirmation and was excited that my husband and I would be in our celebration period for our 46th anniversary. I received a email to complete my pre-sign for registration with my government issued ID prior to arrival. I submitted a copy of my license and signed the pre-registration form. Upon arrival I was immediately told that I had been upgraded and given a room. I simply thought the "up grade" was to the second floor. We were assigned to a different category of suites that cost less and was told that there was no other rooms available- for which we had purchased. We complained twice to Jeannine who checked us in, I complained to a tall lanky male, who reintegrated Jeannine's position. I called to ask the cost of the room that I was assigned to and I was told by Jeannine, it was over $700. I knew better because on the website it was listed for less than $500! The TV worked poorly. The maintenance man said that the TV was rigged and he would send someone else. No one ever came. I will try to make contact with customer service and higher level management. I don't accept less than what I paid for and I don't accept the "dismissive attitude that I should be pleased with a false upgrade. Extremely disappointed! LSmith

Yelp
I am compelled to give this hotel zero stars, for the front desk staff and manager that is! After having booked and paid for the couples romance package which included 2 nights and a couples massage, we were assured the spa would accommodate us due to us having booked this particular package, we were told the follow day that they could not accommodate us for the couples massage! Really?!I relayed to them that I had been assured that because it was this package(the spa weekend package) ironic! we would be accommodated, I asked for the manager, I was told her name was Janine and she would call me back. Never heard from Janine, so called 2 days later to obviously follow up but was offered no alternative, no apology and also Janine again was not available. Complete waste of time and effort. If you cannot fullfill the couples 2 night massage package, then do not offer it and waste people's time, absolutely no professionalism, from Heather at from desk or Janine the 'Manager'. Expensive prices, but staff do not match up I'm afraid, I would advise to give this place a miss. We got a much better deal near by, also a 4 star hotel with spa, friendly, accommodating staff, very professional. Total let down by the hotel staff!!
