Spruce Street Harbor Park - Review - Society Hill - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Fun by the waterfront isn’t usually about the food, but Spruce Street Harbor Park isn’t your typical waterfront. Sure, it’s full of colorful hammocks and floating gardens, but the seasonal spot also serves great tacos, cheesesteaks, sweet treats, and legendary crabfries. It is still a Philly waterfront, though, so you can expect to hear endless banter about the Eagles, screaming kids, and to fight the seagulls over your last bite of doughy funnel cake." - Candis R. The Best Pop-Ups In Philly Right Now - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Little Fish @ Spruce Street Harbor Park / Through Sunday, September 29 One of our favorite restaurants to eat seafood—or any meal, really—has popped up at one of our favorite places to watch people tumble out of colorful hammocks after three drinks. Head to the waterfront for oysters with pink peppercorn mignonette, fluke hoagies, shrimp cocktail, and honey yuzu lemonades." - candis mclean

Best Times to Visit Philadelphia

"A seasonal riverfront hangout featuring hammocks and relaxed waterside seating that’s a summertime favorite for lounging and socializing; many of its outdoor amenities are less suitable during the colder months." - Regan Stephens Regan Stephens Regan Stephens is an award-winning freelance writer living in Philadelphia. The One-Two Punch Guide: Summer Edition - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Spruce Street Harbor Park is one of the nicest looking beer gardens in Philly. It’s covered in grass, with hammocks and Adirondack chairs scattered around, there are trees for shade (very important when August rolls around), and it has a floating beer garden barge for when you don’t have anything productive to do later that night." - sydney mcelwee

Where To Gossip In Philly, According To Kelsey McKinney - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"It's only open in the summer, so this is a summer gossiping spot. There are a lot of food trailers. They have a piña colada in a whole pineapple, which is very exciting. They also have a bunch of frozen drinks and elote, and all sorts of delicious little snacks. But my favorite part is that they have these hammocks that go out over the Delaware River. I think six people can sit in the hammock and you're kind of secluded and it's quieter because you're on top of the water. So you can have your big pineapple and gab." - brennan carley
