On the Grid : Tabule

"Super savoury, warm, and authentic Lebanese comfort food. The emphasis at Tabule is on fresh herbs, balanced flavours, and super filling meals. Portion sizes are generous, very much like you would expect when you visit your middle eastern grandmother for dinner. They also rock an impressive wine list, some super tasty cocktails, and feature BYOB nights on Mondays and Tuesdays. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with stylized wall-mounted lighting, lots of light, arabic signage and trinkets, and a rich colour palette throughout. Vegetarians are well looked after here." - Medina Abdelkader

Lovely local spot for Mediterranean cuisine. Very accessible, pet friendly, and quaint esthetic. The food was delicious, fresh, and generous portion sizes. We ordered the family meal for 2 and had enough leftovers to have another 2 meals. The staff were friendly, professional, and their service is quick. You also can seat and order yourself if social interactions are a barrier. Definitely a must visit. Tons of dishes to try and you are also supporting a local business!

My partner loves this place! They make their pitas in house and they’re always delicious. This isn’t our first time here, but we remembered our first time so fondly we had to visit again. This time we got the chef’s platter for an appetizer and the variety is great, especially if you’re in a group! We also ordered the meatballs as our main. Large portions and delicious freshly made food, everything came piping hot to our table! Overall a lovely spot for Lebanese food

Food is awesome. The hummus was great! Worth coming all the way for this. Not 5 starts bc of the service. No body goes to your table, your have to order trough a QR. So I’m not sure why they charge tips.

Went there for Friday lunch. Followed some comments recommending egg basterma, which is scrambled eggs with potatoes. It was good but nothing mind blowing nor very different from normal scrambled eggs. However I enjoyed cardamom latte & rice pudding ($7). Staff was friendly. Will have to try another main dish to have a definite opinion.

Just simply amazing - from location, to service, to food, just simply hitting the right senses👌👌. Located at the tip of Front Street East and Bayview, the restaurant had nice seating options in the patio or indoor that work for small or mid-size groups. Mixed in with digital ordering and pay option, or traditional style ordering at the counter inside. The Chef’s Sampler plate was quite delicious, and so was the Beiruiti Falafel wraps. Great options for walking, biking, TTC-ing, or driving.

This place was highly recommended by friends, so a couple of my friends and I decided to try it out, definitely it was a great surprise as sometimes people recommend places and sometimes it is disappointing unlike this time food was delicious, the service is great, ambiance is simple and yet artistic. Would recommend this place.

Delicious Lebanese food in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend a stop here to eat in or take out to eat in the nearby park.

Really disappointed with my experience with the food today. We went there today 10 mins before closing and placed an order to go for 2 beirut wraps, which took longer than normal first of all to make but no worries about that. When we had it we were utterly disappointed because it was so bland dry and tasteless. There was no sauce whatsoever in it like we actually opened the wrap to check it. And we have had the wraps from here before so we know it tastes much better. Ruined our Sunday dinner. Not sure if the quality has gone down. We had it about two months ago before today.
