Hands down the best Chinese food in Elizabeth, NJ. I’m local and lazy, so I really wish they delivered but honestly, that’s the only thing I could even think to complain about. The food is so good it’s worth the walk, the drive, whatever it takes to get there. Yes, the place might look a little sketchy from the outside/inside I’m not gonna lie but don’t let that fool you. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The food is legit. Flavor, freshness, portions everything hits. It’s also the cheapest place you will buy a meal! This spot is a hidden gem.

I ordered chicken with broccoli and white rice, and was given a container with chicken and rice with only 2 pieces of broccoli. When I told them I wanted more broccoli, he said “no, we only give two pieces of broccoli.” Are you kidding me? I am never coming back.

Very good food and they pack everything up right in front of you and tell you what they're packing so there are never any issues. 5⭐️ for me..

Don’t ask for extra sauce, they literally put extra oil. Also took one of my chicken from my order for what reason i don’t know but check out food

Here's a great review for you guys. I'm not one to EVER reheat Chinese food the next day...or ever. My husband ordered from here for him and the kids while I was at work this past weekend. Not only did I reheat it after work and it was delicious, but I ate it for lunch the next day, too, and still really good. I think this was the first time I reheated Chinese food in about twenty yrs lol. Will order again,thanks.

So - I have a lot of allergies and eating issues- I was LATE to eat anything and late to pick up my order. They said it was ready - and let me tell you how much I appreciate these people. They served it when I walked in. My rice and beef with broccoli were hot. And stayed hot while I finished my errands. No MSG (I’m allergic and it hurts :/ ) and I still have more left over for today. It’s close to where I run my daily errands. They’re really great and patient!

Food is fresh and they are fair on pricing. Cash only. Location is on the corner so not hard to find.

So this placed is raved as one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area-- you know I had to try it! I ordered something simple, being that it was my first time: vegetable lo mein with extra broccoli and fried wings. I really wanted wings in garlic sauce or honey but I was told that they only serve plain wings, so that sucked but not the end of the world. The veggie lo mein was DELICIOUSSSSSSS. Sometimes lo mein can be greasy, over cooked, and covered in the thin sauce but this was the opposite. It wasn't covered in oil or sauce and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I almost finished the entire platter of lo mein alone haha. The wings were pretty good too, definitely not the best I've had in the area but comparable. They were a little more salty than I would personally like but if salt is your thing then it'll probably be perfect for you. All in all, I'll definitely be back, especially for the lo mein! HEADS UP: THIS IS A CASH ONLY RESTAURANT and there's no ATM on the premises. There is a corner store next door but if you prefer a bank, make sure to have your cash ahead of time.

I had a pork egg roll and bone-in ribs with special FR. I thought the food was much better than average, and the price was ok. The egg roll, even after sitting for a bit, was still crispy and tasty and not greasy. The fried rice was REALLY good. The bone-in ribs weren't ribs - maybe back or neck? Still delicious, but don't BS me. Their containers are great! They're really sturdy, and easy to open and close.

Portion is huge even ordered a small dish. I thought it was a good place to have Chinese food, but it was a disappointment. Even with the standard American-Chinese food, I still find it not too outstanding.

Best Chinese food ever. I went from living two minutes away to 20min drive and let me tell you it's worth the drive. It's super clean and the workers are super nice they even understand Spanish.

I live right down the street from this place. This place has really good Chinese food. I love their wings and rice. It's delicious. But only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because they don't deliver which is horrible and they don't accept credit cards which is even worse. This is the 20th century. No one carries cash anymore. Step it up. But I still love this place!

Pretty good Ameri-Chinese food. Standard lunch fare, Tso chicken, spare ribs, chow mein, fried rice etc. Don't typically even like chinese food but was in the area and it was easy. Tasted good, not super oily, portion was very reasonable for lunch, 7.50 plus a soda. Will definitely return.

Best Chinese food ever! Growing up, this has always been the spot. Chans doesn't compare to any of the other Chinese spots in town, it's too good. You have to try it yourself. Trust me you will not be disappointed!
