We came to TUNG Dining to try their newest tasting menu and had such a wonderful evening. Ingredients are clearly chosen with care: carabineros, Kristal caviar, Dutch milk-fed veal, and an especially lovely foie gras chawanmushi that felt very… familiar to me in the best way.
What truly shines, is Chef Tùng’s playful creativity: weaving premium products with proudly Vietnamese flavors like ant-egg salt, chẩm chéo, sá sùng, galangal. Those familiar notes suddenly become elegant, surprising, and genuinely fun ,Vietnamese at heart, modern in expression.
Service was warm, well-timed, and knowledgeable. Each dish was introduced with just enough detail to make you appreciate the craft without breaking the flow of the evening.
Refined but not stiff,inventive but still comforting TUNG Dining delivers a memorable taste of Hanoi’s contemporary dining scene. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a culinary experience that’s both thoughtful and a little bit cheeky.
