"Tucked away on the second floor of a heritage shophouse on Bukit Pasoh road, Clos Pasoh is a slice of French summer in the heart of Singapore. Led by Louis Pacquelin (the former chef de cuisine at BBR by Alain Ducasse), this colourful brasserie is the perfect spot for a tasty weekend brunch. To pair with your meal, pick a bottle of wine from the house’s 1,500-label cellar."

Itinerary for a great day in Singapore: Episode 03 - SilverKris

"A tropical-chic French bistro along Bukit Pasoh Road featuring indoor plants, rattan-backed chairs and rich green décor, serving carefully prepared bistro classics with refined technique—recommended dishes include braised and fried beef tripe with caviar in a Noilly-Prat sauce, steamed lobster dumplings in a coconut-lobster bisque, and a distinctive Mont Blanc chestnut dessert with blackcurrant." - Rachel Eva Lim

It was a girls' night out for my friend and I. Our perquisite for dinner was to enjoy some French cuisine since she had spent a couple of years in France. We were seated at a quaint booth facing the entrance meant for 5. While we felt it was a little spacious for the both of us, we welcomed the cosy area. Ordered a tart, 2 main course, a side as well as a half bottle of Saint Emilion between the both of us and enjoyed the food thoroughly till our 2 hours of dining was up. We were told by the GM that we were welcomed to continue desserts at a high table to which, left a bad taste to me. The restaurant wasn't at full capacity and if there was a reservation made by a bigger party at a later time, why would they seat us there (and wowing us at the first impression) and then shoo us off after the 2 hr mark. Thankfully, the outlet manager, Shram and our server Charmaine were able to salvage the experience which I was very appreciative of. The pecan pie was as close to an authentic Thanksgiving meal I had and would have missed out on if it weren't for their service recovery. While I understand the importance of tending to your regulars, shouldn't it also be just an important to value first-time diners to the establishment? My first impression from Le Clos is that go for the authentic food, lovely on-ground staff and wide selection of French wine but that one GM almost spoiled what would have been a 10/10 experience. I would choose to dine there again because of Shram and Charmaine as I believe their friendliness, patience and understanding meant the most to me during my time there

Came here for Restaurant week and thought it was a really great deal because I don’t think there were any real standouts for me to come back and pay full prices for it. 1. Oysters = really fresh and plump 2. Prawns = was really surprised that we were served 2 prawns each cause I half expected a prawn each. Prawns were fresh and grilled to perfection. Plus, I really like the spicy sauce that accompanied it 3. Mains = They weren’t serving the mussels that day so I ordered the steak and risotto instead. This is my first time trying out a restaurant week menu so I didn’t know that the portion size for the mains would be different from the Ala carte menu. That said, it was still substantial. The steak was cooked to the right doneness and the fries were really crispy. I really loved the risotto and the pine nuts added a good crunch and fragrance with each bite 4. Desserts = Got a strawberry tart each. I thought I would enjoy this more but I didn’t really like the style of tart base they have That said, I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere!

We had an amazing experience From the time we set foot to the time we left. The food is exquisite , service efficient and yet discreet and you can definitely tell they really care about the quality of the ingredients they use. We had the aged beef bressaola - divine! , the in-season mushroom flat bread and the croque monsieur (revisited) , they were all absolutely amazing. For mains the Wagyu tenderloin , broccolini, the risotto (incredible!) which were out of this world. Desserts were also really good with the chocolate tart (don’t miss it) and the choux - only thing that was just ok. The wine selection is really good. We went for the Pomerol 2019 - trust me , you won’t be disappointed. The overall experience was top notch and would highly recommend to anyone.

Last weekend, I visited Bahru Bahru for a walk, and when I stopped by your store, I was immediately drawn to your pastry counter — everything looked so tempting. I took a stroll first before coming back and ordering a slice of coconut cake. There were two of us, and I usually eat very little, plus it was close to dinner time, so unfortunately I couldn’t try more items. I’ll definitely return to try other pastries because the coconut cake slice was truly delicious. I’m writing this review because I felt uncomfortable when, while I was eating, a tall male staff member came over to clean the cabinet right next to where we were seated. It was genuinely uncomfortable to have that happening so close to me. I was worried dust might fly up, and in our culture, when hosting guests, cleaning around them is never allowed as it can be interpreted as a sign of wanting them to leave. I would appreciate it if this feedback could be taken into consideration. I don’t intend for the staff member to be reprimanded or get into any trouble at all. Also, the display cabinet wasn’t very clear (please see the photo I attached). It made it difficult for me to see the pastries properly, especially when taking pictures.

I came for the Singapore Restaurants Week. Was seated at the table with high chair which was slightly uncomfortable. Menu started off with a singular Britanny oyster. While the oyster is fresh, it could be more plump. For starter I had the foie gras terrine. It was rich and full of flavour with a not too subtle hint of alcohol. The accompanying toast/brioche was well toasted(in butter?). My Angus striploin was grilled to my preferred doneness(medium rare) and was tender and had that perfect caramelised charness that is so often missing from Steaks. Dessert was a decent strawberry tart. Wait staff did check on me from time to time and refilled my choice of sparkling water

My recent dinner at Le Clos was wonderful. We started with a Watermelon, Feta & Mint salad which was delightfully refreshing. The dish was so well balanced with the juiciness of the watermelon, the right amount of saltiness of the feta which was well portioned, the crunchiness of the pine nuts and the tangy vinaigrette that enhanced the mint. You won’t go wrong with the Homemade Malfadine Spanner Crab & Bisque if you enjoy pasta and seafood. The O’Connor Grass-Fed Angus Striploin was grilled to perfection with a lovely char, yet tender middle. The star of the night is the unassuming Shallot Tatin that we added as a side because we enjoy a good tart, and boy it did not disappoint. I would return again and again just for that and easily polish it off on my own. We were pretty stuffed by the end of the meal, but with very satisfied bellies. Ambience was lovely with the on-brand decor, nicely dimmed lighting and well arranged tables with a good amount of space between every table. Despite not having that many staff on the floor, service was prompt and attentive. Will definitely be back!

We had the set lunch and it was great. Tart flambee was savory and delicious. Sirloin steak was perfectly salted, amazing with the onion jam. Salmon was soft and tasty, while the mashed potato with apples and fried crisp provided different textures. Desserts here are fantastic too - love the hazelnut choux and vanilla flan. Only item that didnt hit the mark was fennel and burrata. Felt very plain and i didnt enjoy that fish. Otherwise, a delectable meal.

Ordinary set lunch but they do have great selection of French wine. My cut of sirloin steak had too much grits that was rough and tough. But the strawberry tart was refreshing and nicely made.
