"See the Home of the European Commission Although Brussels is most famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, is has some notable modern buildings as well. One of the most recognisable is the love-it-or-hate-it Berlaymont Building, at the Schumann metro stop. Known by its detractors as the “Berlamonster,” this huge glass and metal lopsided X-shaped structure is home to the European Commission. Whatever your feelings about the Berlaymont, its imposing stature is impressive. EU flags representing the EU member states, line the back of the building. Wander through the EU district at lunchtime and see the Eurocrats in their ‘natural habitat’ in the surrounding restaurants and cafes."

EU Trade Talks Brexit Dinner With Boris Johnson in Brussels | Eater London

"Set inside the European Commission’s headquarters in Brussels, this venue hosted a closed-door dinner during last-minute Brexit talks between senior leaders. The meal was seafood-forward — pumpkin soup with scallops, turbot with mashed potatoes, wasabi and vegetables, followed by pavlova with fruit and coconut sorbet — a menu that commentators read as a pointed, even ironic, nod to the highly symbolic and contentious dispute over fishing rights between the U.K. and the EU." - Adam Coghlan

This is the European Commission headquarters building ! The architecture is stunning, clearly one of the first buildings you lay eyes on when you arrive to the area ! On top of being huge, the building has a unique shape ! European flags waving all around makes it easy to spot and identify. Nice sitting area in front of it and very convenient transport system around it including bus and metro 👍🏻

Le Berlaymont in Brussels, the headquarters of the European Commission. This modern, glass-clad building symbolizes European unity and governance. Originally completed in the 1960s and later renovated, it has been at the heart of European decision-making for decades. While access inside is restricted, the surrounding area and architecture are worth seeing for anyone interested in the European Union's institutions.

Dear E.U. Commission, can you please do something more recognisable, to opose American fascists bullying the E.U.! This "trade deal" is an absolute shame!!! Fine and Tax US Monopolys, and for god sake do something serious to make the E.U. more independent from rampant American doomsday capitalism.

The Le Berlaymont is a building in the heart of brussels based for the European Commission executives (a branch of the European Union). It hosts an iconic building that is extremely noticeable from any point in the surrounding area. Flying the EU flag high on multiple flag posts out of the front of the building It is heavily connected to road networks and public transport networks so is very each to get to and from each area. I would 100% recommend a visit if you are even in the center of brussles!
