If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Salt Lake City, Nona Bistro is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service provided by Chandler, our waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations. The food was nothing short of amazing. The Sicilian meatballs were perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, while the lasagna was rich, hearty, and simply divine. Every bite was a delight, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients in each dish. Nona Bistro has truly earned its five stars, and I can't wait to return!

I was thoroughly shocked and surprised at how absolutely lovely the atmosphere was at this restaurant. Our service was impeccable. My gin and tonic was absolutely delicious, slightly floral and very refreshing! We shared the lasagna and the Mezza plate And both were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!

I was around the area, and this place caught my attention with their beautiful outdoor seating that looked so pretty, plus it was a fresh day to be outside. The tables are a decent size, not bad. I got the lasagna, and it was so delicious, creamy, and cheesy. The flavor was just great, and the portion was good. I also tried the grilled chicken, but it was ok. When we tried the chicken, it was quite cold, and the flavor wasn’t satisfying, and for the price, I don’t think it was worth it. We also tried an oil lime cake to go, and when we tasted it, it had a fridge-old cake flavor. I know for sure I will come back for the lasagna, as it has been my favorite.

Let’s start with the positives here the ambience and the drinks were great really cool patio vibe too. The drinks came out quick and were very tasty. We had an aperol spritz and a paper plane. We had the carrots appetizer which came out relatively quick too and thought they were pretty good. However we ordered the chicken Schwarma which took about 45 min. When it came out the focaccia bread was cold. And the chicken was extremely dry and bland. When we expressed our concern we tried one more attempt and got the chicken picotta. 30 min later it made it to the table. Wasn’t bad but pretty basic with just a side of arugula sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Luckily we got our entree comped. Even still wasn’t worth the hassle. All in all I would avoid coming for dinner and just get a drink on the patio. Had higher hopes for such a charming restaurant.

Oh well ok Nona was just alright. We got a few appetizers including the Shishito peppers and the Mezze Plate, and then we shared the Chicken Shawarma and the Kale Caesar salad. The salad had zero flavor resemblance of Caesar salad but did have a freshness to it. The feta cheese and the focaccia were really a hit with us but when the chicken, the star came out it really stopped the flow of things because it had little to no flavor and was stringy; very overcooked. Otherwise, service was great, we had very low wait times for dishes to come out and enjoyed the low lite ambience. Overall, the service was the highlight as the food lacked overall creativity & flavor and it was pretty drafty inside for a winter night.

We had such a great experience here! Naomi was our server and she was amazing super friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious, the food was even better, and the atmosphere had such a fun and welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Oof. We entered in through the coziest room, but then were walked back to the garage which was absolutely freezing cold. They had a few space heaters, but even the server was wearing a puffer coat our entire meal—which I must admit, is a bit of buzzkill. On top of that, the server forgot to bring my glass of wine out for a decent amount of time while the rest of my party was served. Service felt rushed and distracted. On top of that, almost everything we were served was cold and I mean ICE cold. Focaccia, shishito peppers, chicken piccata, lasagna—all cold! We did let our server know and she did take the bread off the bill and had the kitchen remake the peppers, which was appreciated. But it was then disappointing when our entrees came out cold as well. This place has potential but serving ice cold food in an ice cold garage is frankly unacceptable and quite a bummer. 3 stars because I do think had we been sat in the front part of the restaurant we would have had a far better experience. Also, bonus points because the pizza cookie was phenomenal!!

JJ is amazing. So sweet, fun, and attentive. The salmon was pretty good, the broccolini was a bit too lemony and hard to cut. The cookie skillet, focaccia and cheese plate was to die for

We had such a great time here! The food was delicious all around. My friend and I both got the dressed salmon filet and it was super tasty, the broccolini on the side was crisp with just the right amount of lemon. My husband ordered the New York prime steak and really enjoyed it, and our other friend was happy with the organic chicken piccata. For dessert, we split the chocolate chip cookie skillet (warm, gooey, and so good) and the olive oil pound cake, which was really yummy too. Service was excellent! Our server was friendly and on top of everything. Really loved the vibe, dining in a house turned restaurant with a charming backyard made it feel cozy and unique. There were some bees around since it's outdoors with all the greenery, but honestly it didn't ruin the evening at all. Definitely recommend!

Well, the secret is WAY out. Last year Nona bistro was super quiet mid summer. This year, it's more like Club Nona out front with dance music and pizza being made on the grills. Out back is a more chill space with live, folksy music, a covered bar and seating among the garden. Theres something for everyone. Servers are very warm and attentive. Drinks and food are well prepared. This is my favorite spot for summer dining in Utah.

I REALLY wanted to love this restaurant but it wasn't it for me. My chicken piccata was burnt and too spicy for me (I can't have spicy food due to health concerns). I wish the menu had indicated it is spicy. My husband ordered the brick oven lasagna. It is on the mediums on the menu but should be in a new area called extra smalls. It was one lonely half of a lasagna noodle with some sauce and a small amount of cheese. We left still hungry after spending $75 and looking for somewhere to eat second dinner. I was so bummed because I had really been looking forward to eating there.

This place is super cute and I love the vibe. They have a really cute outdoor patio. There were bugs (fair warning), but that's to be expected since it is a really cute outdoor seating area with trees. They also have good music and cute lighting. Our server was awesome. She was attentive but not overbearing. We got the potatoes and shishito peppers to start. Both were great! My friend and I both ordered the salmon and really enjoyed it. My husband got the chicken piccata and thought it was delicious. He also really enjoyed the arugula side salad. My friend's husband got the steak and he enjoyed it. For dessert we tried both the olive oil cake and cookie in the skillet. Both were amazing!! I love how everything here is really simple but delicious. It is definitely on the pricier side, but I knew that going in. I was also impressed with the portion sizes. The vibe was perfect on a warm summer night and I left feeling extremely satisfied. The Diet Coke wasn't as crisp as I would like but it was still good.

This restaurant was a cute experience. You definitely come to this place ambiance. My hubby and I came for a date night and it was a good time. The entrance is beautiful and you walk to the garage to sit. They have fireplaces and heaters for the winter months. The staff was very friendly and took care of us well. The food was good. The cheese plate was the best thing we had tonight. The cheeses were so good! 10/10 I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the lasagna. Both those items would be a 6/10.

We went as a big group for a business dinner. The space was fun with live music and lots of people. Everything else is where the experience went down. The server while really nice was super distracted and seemed to be over stretched between tables. We ordered drinks and they sat at the bar for 20 minutes and finally I had to go up to the serving staff and ask for them. (I will add the space is outdoors with lots of bugs so the fact that our drinks just sat there for that long is a problem.) We finally then got our food which we pre ordered to make it easier on the restaurant but they still got orders wrong and didn't correct them as well as made us wait a really long time. The food itself was good I thought mine was delicious. We then ordered desert and they said they had run out of one of their two options the day before and didn't prepare any for today so we only that the pzookie option which was fine since those are really good but as a restaurant you should be better prepared if you do have such limited options. We kept ordering drinks but ended up just giving up on the drink orders since it took so much to try and find staff to order and then most the time we didn't even get our drinks given to us. Overall the taste is great of this restaurant but the staff is so bad that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The last problem is we had a problem with our bill and the server told us he couldn't do anything about it because the manager (Hayden) went home for the day but assured us the manager would help us and to contact him the following week, we contacted him and the manager was not very helpful on the phone and then proceeded to tell me he'd get back to me and it's now been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from him to correct the error on the receipt. Overall super disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place whatsoever due to their staff being disorganized and not great. Our entire party was super disappointed and won't be recommending this place to the families from out of town we help in the area.

I keep trying to go to this place, but they've been closed for an event every time. They also don't answer their phones and the reservation system is confusing. Please post on your Instagram if you have an event!

The vibes are incredible for patio season, I loved the backyard. The service is good, but maybe a bit slow. The food was a bit lackluster for me personally, but the serving size for the price wasn't honestly too bad. The focaccia was kinda depressing--where were the huge dimples!?!? I got the Chicken Piccata which was good, but not great. My boyfriend's Salmon was the same.

I am a little sad to be leaving this low of a rating for Nona. I live very close by and have wanted to try it for a while. First, the good: a great setting with a lovely outdoor area and very polite service. The problem is unfortunately the food. I ordered the steak which is the most expensive item on their menu. I just about never spend that much on food but I thought it would be a nice treat that my partner could also share on her birthday (she got the lasagna). But the steak showed up about ten minutes after everyone else's food and came out well done after I had asked for medium rare. It was pretty chewy due to being overcooked. If I did this at home, I would probably scrap it and try again. Unfortunately I can't recommend Nona, especially if you want to treat yourself. Plenty of other spots nearby where you can spend a similar amount and get better quality.

The worst chicken breast I've ever had, Bone Dry. Service was super flaky, our entrees arrived 20 min apart. Drinks were mid, not bad, but expensive. Would not recommend.

Not sure why they take reservations when they can't fit you comfortably. I made a reservation for 5. We got sat on two tiny tables, they looked like side tables. We didn't fit. We asked (3) times to get moved and were dismissed each time. Really disappointed by this place, not coming back. The food wasn't impressive either for the price, most of the grapes on our salumi & cheese plates were bad.

We had a 5:45 reservation at Nona Bistro and specifically requested to be seated in the garage due to a recent facial biopsy and a need to avoid direct sun exposure. Instead, we were seated on the patio, which was acceptable only because our table was shaded by an umbrella. Midway through our meal, a busboy came over, and without saying a word, started moving our umbrella. It became clear he was doing this to shade a family who had just been seated next to us. When I calmly mentioned, "You're taking our shade," he replied, "There's nothing I can do." I asked him, again politely, to move the umbrella back, which he did. It wasn't a matter of sharing the shade, I would have been thrilled if we could have made that work with both tables; it was one or the other, and we had been there at least 30 minutes before the new party arrived. Ten minutes after we paid, the same busboy came back to let us know there were people waiting for our table and asked us to leave. While I understand the need to turn tables, it felt a bit pointed, especially considering there were other diners around us who had been lingering over cocktails and were not asked to move. The food was lovely and the ambiance usually hits the mark, but the experience left a sour taste. I had really looked forward to bringing friends here, but the service left us feeling rushed and undervalued. Disappointing.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this establishment. We selected Nona Bistro as the place to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Upon arrival and a short wait, we were seated on the patio (we had booked a reservation for the patio). It was short lived, as there were ants all over the ground under the table, crawling on my wife's feet and ankles. We were relocated to a table inside the open air "garage"/ bar area. We ordered the Chicken Piccata and the Brick Oven Lasagna. Our meals arrived quickly. The Piccata breading was burnt, which ruined the flavor of this dish. The lasagna was completely underwhelming. It was mostly melted ricotta cheese, that was soup like consistency. At the very least we got a good laugh out of this dish. Service was okay, but rushed and very minimal contact. For the $85 we spent on drinks and dinner, I would have expected a better experience. We enjoyed each other's company, which is what mattered most. Disappointing, no less as we were hoping for a great experience on our special day. Obviously, this review is reflective of our own experience and opinion. I don't like to leave reviews like this, but I believe in honesty and transparency. It's highly unlikely we will ever return. Hopefully, your visit is better.

This place was a hit or miss for us... Let me set the scene: 8:00 pm, party of 3, semi hungry. We ordered off the appetizers menu for a more "tapas style" dinner. They brought & charged us for more than we ordered. It would've been okay if the plate was tasty... but the tinned fish was DEFINITELY a miss, for $20 it was bland and just pulled out of a box. (It literally was). Another miss for us was the $25 large charcuterie board! It was a small selection of two thin slices of cheese and store bought crackers... the presentation was okay but had more "fillers" than cheese, meat and cracker... it would have also been nice to have a condiment with it. Now let's talk about the hits! The charred cabbage is TO DIE FOR. Absolutely delish and is a must order. This was recommended by a friend and it lived up to the hype. It had a wonderful sauce on top and bottom, they paired perfectly with the cabbage! The shishito peppers were tasty and acidic! They were nicely charred but could use a lil dip or aioli (I'm a sauce girl) The potatoes were nicely seasoned and had bits of Parmesan grated over it. They were perfectly crispy! The green beans were good but nothing to write home about! The focaccia was mmhm mmhm mmhm! They were nice and pillowy. It came out warm which was extra nice! The restaurant itself is petite but very cute for a nice girls night or date night!! Our waitress was prompt but a little bit... new? She was super nice but neglected to inform us of the tinned fish dish, maybe it was a special she forgot about! 8/10 for her service :)

Sooo we made a reservation here. If you no-show they charge you $25/person. We reserved in the garage but I don't think that matters cause we sat on the patio. We never had our sodas refilled. Maybe they only do one time fill? We didn't have the energy to ask. I like that the menu is small other than they were out of some of the items. They ran out of meat lasagna and salmon. That really limited your choices. Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere is special!

YUM. Nona is a must-try when in Salt Lake City. Just across the street from Loki Coffee, Nona is in a garage just behind a brown brick house. They have heaters going to keep you warm and the space is very inviting. Our server was very warm and welcoming and got us started with drinks and menus right away. I chose the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I've tried many breakfast sandwiches and I liked that Nona's added a unique twist to theirs with the prosciutto. Prices are very fair. I overall had a lovely experience. I can't wait to visit when patio season is back and experience Nona outside!

Food - absolutely amazing. Options for appetizers, small plates, and big plates. We got the charcuterie board and the cheese was absolutely fantastic. Our big plates were the chicken piccata and the ribeye, honestly could not tell you which one we loved more! The chicken piccata was perfectly breaded with the best garnish of herbs and capers. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and whatever oil they lined the plate with was heavenly. The chimichurri was amazing as well. Service - very quick! The charcuterie board was served about 4 minutes after ordering and our mains came out about 10 minutes later. Ambiance - you won't find better. It's dreamy. Romantic. Private. Literally feels like an Italian garden (although I've never been in one). It can be very warm during the summer but if you reserve early enough you can get covered seating!

After biking by a couple of times, intrigue got the best of me and I finally tried Nona Bistro! It is a truly charming atmosphere, as though you are dining in the backyard of your friend who reads Architectural Digest religiously. The service was friendly, the menu had decent diversity. The food was not worth writing home about, but not bad either. The location is certainly what makes this a spot worth returning to on a summer evening.

Darling place with ultimate vibes! The food is absolutely delicious. Four of us shared a variety of different items from the menu. Can't wait to go back!

This place is a hidden gem in the up and coming 9th south corridor that connects 9th east to state st. Nona's sits off the street in a converted garage in the back of a brick bungalow. It's charming, has a fun garden vibe meets modern bar. Service is attentive but not annoying. Great recommendations and guidance on the menu. The food was fantastic. All of it! We had the focaccia bread, charred cabbage, kale caesar salad with chicken, lasagna, rib eye steak with chimichurri with smashed potatoes. I would come back for all of it. The rib eye steak and potatoes were so good. Kale salad I could every day. Charred cabbage was so delightful - you must order it. Focaccia tasted like it came out of a wood roasted pizza oven- delicious! Lasagna was good but honestly not my favorite. It was their spin on the classic and a bit soupy the night we had it. Chocolate chip cookie skillet was okay for a couple of bites of something sweet but I wouldn't order it again. Can't wait to come back again, especially for bunch!

I felt like I was let in on a little secret spot coming here! This is the cutest little spot. The entrance is tucked away behind the main house on 900 S, and you walk back to the backyard/patio area to the large structure behind the house. The interior is so quaint and cozy, I think we counted between 12-14 tables in the whole space, and the majority of those were two top tables. We were SO lucky that a table opened up right after we walked in because the place was packed on a Wednesday night! This is a tapas style place, mostly known for their light bites and small plates and shareables. They have a larger menu of small plates (maybe 10 items?) and then two salad options and three larger plates that are meat based. We decided to share a salad and three of the small plates and had plenty of food. The cauliflower and potato au gratin completely stole the show. I'll be dreaming about it for days. It was SO delicious, creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. The focaccia bread was our second favorite, it was so fresh, perfectly doughy and amazing. There was some sea salt on top and it came with a delicious dip as well but I can't remember what was in it. I believe it was tomato based? The cabbage was amazing, it's served on top of this yogurt cream sauce - who knew cabbage could taste so good?! The kale Caesar salad was delightful. Fresh baby kale, tomatoes, parm, and topped with delicious house made croutons. Everything was so wonderful and delicious! The service was on the slower side because the place was packed, but we weren't in a rush and were totally fine with that. I believe there were only three people total in the entire space bussing, bartending, and serving, so props to them for keeping up with everything. I can't wait to come back in the warmer months and check out their amazing patio space. They did have a fire and some outdoor heaters, but no one was sitting outside last night, I think even with the heaters it would be a little chilly outside.

Nona and Notes are two of my favorite places in SLC! They serve the best food and the ambiance is always amazing. 100% recommend the lasagna. You can also tell they put so much thought into the entire experience, it's curated perfectly. The service is always great and I can't wait to go back!

Was a good dinner with a friend. I think this would be great for company lunches, but they are not open at that time. I really like the seating options whether it's indoor or outdoor. I like how you can tell that this was a house that they chose not to demolish, and it makes me feel good that the city is doing that. I think the value is a little expensive. Seeing as the serving size for a chicken piccata was not big and you're paying mostly for the salad that's going underneath which is just arugula, but the service is the entire reason I would come back our server was incredible, and honestly made the experience worthwhile.

Great friendly staff and love the atmosphere! Ordered the Caesar salad which is large enough to share. For my entrée ordered the meat lasagna. The flavor was amazing and loved the crispy edges. It was on the soupy side but because the flavor was wonderful, I didn't mind. Can't wait to go back again!

Nona is a hit everytime. I love the menu, love the decor, love the patio, love the limited amount of tables. Staff is very friendly. Food really is top tier. I hope Nona never changes. (Bring back the chicken shawarma!)

Feels like a secret Hideaway, We loved the food and intimate ambiance. It's a modern rustic decor. Perfect for a romantic date night . It is located behind a house on 900s . It's definitely a hidden gem They have a unique menu that changes periodically I believe. They have many small plates and shareables . We started with a few appetizers. The shishito , sweet potato , and cabbage . They were all excellent. We had the Ribeye with chimichurri on top & Organic chicken shawarma plate . The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. That homemade skillet chocolate chip cookie for dessert is a must try . We loved it . We enjoyed some wine by the fire after dinner . It was lovely. I can't wait to come back when it warms up a little bit.

Nona had a great vibe and energy. If it's you're first time there they don't wait on you, you simply walk up and place and order. Make sure you grab a table while you can cause seating is limited. The food was actually really good but the menu is a bit limited, if you're looking for options this isn't your place but if you want a nice personal lasagna then definitely stop by!

For starters, the ambiance was beautiful. The servers are also very kind and pleasant. However, the food was subpar. We had our hopes up and in our opinion, the food was a bit bland. It was good but could've used a little more PAZZAZZ. Overall, a good experience.

Love Nona Bistro!! Fun little, walkable neighborhood place!! Very relaxed vibe! It's a little unassuming. It's pretty much in the backyard of a house on 900 South. They have beer, cider, wine and cocktails. Small menu but with enough variety! I had a glass of wine and my husband had sweet iced tea to drink. We shared an appetizer of focaccia bread, they even have a gluten free option! I was so happy! I got the chopped salad and my husband had the cheese lasagna. Definitely want to come back while the weather is good. No real inside seating. It was a Wednesday and they even had a band playing!! So fun!!!

I love the a atmosphere of this restaurant. It's a great place to have quality food in a kid friendly environment. It's outdoor so be prepared for that. The chicken and bread were both amazing. I felt like I could make better green beans at home and the lasagna is cooked in a way that made it feel too runny and not thick enough for me so I would pass on those 2 dishes next time.

Stumbled into Nona Bistro on opentable for a friday night figured hey this looks cute, and it is. Unfortunately, cute ambiance is all that really went well at Nona. We sat down, and waited a couple minutes and ordered a couple glasses of wine. Not long after someone else also came to check to see if we wanted to order drinks, but we already had. All good. Minutes passed by but it took 10 minutes to get our wine but its friday night and they were busy so all is well. Finally 15 minutes into the service we were asked what we would like to eat, we ordered the charcuterie board, smashed potatoes, harissa cabbage, and the steak. The charcuterie board came out and it was fine, but nothing to write home about. At this point we had been here 40 minutes and were starving and now waiting on a second glass of wine. While the menu is intended to be fun and simple, nothing at this point was really standing out at all, just fine. Then the real meal started, we received the "smashed potatoes" an hour in, with great anticipation - and my girlfriend literally asked "are we being punked?". I didn't know what to say. The potatoes were horribly under-cooked. Biting into them took a lot of effort. How can they serve these this way? The cabbage was served at the same time. I will try to give them some credit, the harissa and char flavor was good, but again, the entire dish was still under-cooked. If this was me making this camping it would have been great, but we are at an expensive restaurant. The steak when ordered we had asked for rare, but when it came out it was well done. Given all of the misses thus far we decided we would (we hate doing this) send this one back. The steak came back within 10 minutes this time, and again, was still not rare. It was not as well done, but was still a medium, on the upper edge of medium bordering on well done again, not even a medium rare, when we ordered a rare. The highlight of the meal was probably the wine and the chimichurri sauce. Nona has a simple menu, and you get the feeling like you are eating in someones back yard. When you have this simple feeling you want it to be really good. I get what they are going for, but they are just not nailing it. I will wait 1 more year and try this restaurant again and report back, because I want their concept to work.

Ambiance was great! But food was 1/10... and it was not cheap by any means. so sad because it's a really cool spot. also cocktails were super sub par. Service was pretty good.

Ordered the chicken piccata. No where on the menu did it say it was spicy. Took one bite and it was loaded with what tasted like cayenne pepper. I had to just eat the chicken and remove the breading. Husband and son in law got the ribeye. Over cooked and extremely tough. Definitely not worth the $42 they charged. The menu is very small. Not many choices to pick from. The setting was interesting. It's behind a house and all outside. There is a garage where we sat but it was very hot. Our bill was almost $300. With the food quality like it was, we spent way too much. Server was good though. No complaints.

Sounds like it was an off night but... yikes. Girlfriend came for the gluten free focaccia that is on their website. They don't do it any more. Bummer but fine. I got the regular focaccia. It took 25 min. It was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I sent it back for a new order. It never came. Then we ordered our mains. I got the piccata. It was good. No complaints. Gf ordered the Caesar Gluten Free. First they brought us the Cobb salad. Thought about just eating it but it was swimming in dressing. They didn't come back for 30 min before I waved someone down. Sent the salad back. Took another 30 min. The bring back the ceaser, full of croutons. We had also order a second round of drinks that never showed up. So we flagged the waiter and asked for the check. Luckily the waitress was very nice about everything. She apologized greatly and said they have two new kitchen guys who are blowing it. They comped the meal so I'm very grateful. But a complete disaster of an experience lol. For what it's worth, the ambiance is great. Very cute outdoors.

The Small plates were amazing. The main course was good but lacked the bold flavor of the smalls. Specialty drinks were amazing.

Such a chill good vibe! The people, the ambiance, the food! We loved it all! My bf ordered the vegetarian lasagne (he's not vegetarian) and absolutely loved it! It came in a little cast iron dish. I ordered the salmon with green beans. Simple dish made to perfection! It looks like the patio will be amazing in the summer. Can't wait to return!

I really loved the ambiance of this restaurant! Tip: if you want to sit inside, make a reservation especially if it's the weekend. Otherwise you'll probably be seated outside which is also cozy! They put up outdoor heaters so it's not freezing. The food was good! You couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu, really loved the cabbage and focaccia appetizer. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was good, a bit dry but otherwise no complaints. All of the staff were very friendly and moved us from outside to inside when there was a reservation cancellation which was nice!

Unfortunately, I feel like the food has gone downhill here from when they first opened. The service was regularly lacking in the past, but the amazing food kind of made up for that. I hadn't been to Nona since last summer or maybe even longer, and I feel like they drastically decreased the quality of the menu but kept the prices the same. The steak used to be my favorite ribeye in salt lake, but when I recently had it again there really wasn't any marbling, it was basically just a giant piece of fat and not worth the $47 at all. I hope that with time they can improve their food quality and especially work on the service, because the ambiance here is really special.

This is a great restaurant with chill outdoor ambiance. The outdoor setting is so inviting, as though I was at a friend's backyard. It's very casual - you seat yourself and order at the counter. The menu is quite small so we got to sample a few items. Just about everything we tried was delicious. The food came out very quickly but unfortunately our drinks didn't come out until much later and we had to remind them. The only item I wouldn't recommend is the lemon curd pound cake. The prices felt high for a casual styled restaurant but we enjoyed our evening here quite a bit and will happily return soon.

The food was not up to quality for the price. The waitstaff and atmosphere were the only part about this restaurant that we enjoyed. Our server Cait was super speedy and friendly. Friendly service but food needs a lot of work.

Before you sit down to eat go to the bathroom and take a look at the kitchen. It's an unorganized mess. We ordered the Jimmy Nardos Peppers, smashed potatoes, kael Caesar, and green beans. Peppers were good, smashed potatoes were not seasoned, had very little olive oil making them dry, green beans were ok, kale Caesar was not good. Additionally, there are only a few main courses with meat or cheese lasagna being two of them which were 86ed before service began. How can you completely run out of two mains in the beginning of service. Get it together! Also, their unfiltered table water is awful. Service was lackadaisical at best and we had to wait forever for the check. This meal was $59 with the tip. It would have been a rip off at half the price.

I had high hopes for this place but was disappointed. The wine was not good, the salad was drenched in dressing making it inedible, the lasagna was like a mushy casserole and incredibly salty, and the seating was uncomfortable. I keep trying to find good restaurants in salt lake and had high hopes for this place but alas on to the next.
