I had tried this location years ago and was not impressed, but decided it was time to try again and I’m very happy that I did.
I like that they have lots of fun names and combinations on the menu, but also have a “Keeping It Simple” section as well. For example I wanted a breakfast burrito and at first I saw their “Do You Have A Burrito”, but I’m not interested in guacamole, sour cream, and pico on a breakfast burrito. On back of the menu they have the The Smothered Burrito”. Same burrito, but pick one thing to smother it in. (Pork Green Chile, Sausage Gravy, or a salsa)
Both in the breakfast burrito and the open face omelet (just not folded over) the eggs were fluffy and flavorful.
The Belgian Waffle was also the perfect blend of crisp and soft. And while their maple syrup is not 100% maple it was clearly largely maple and not corn syrup with food coloring.
They were bustling and busy, but our food still came up quickly and refills on drinks were good. They even had a small carafe with two glasses worth of ice tea in it available.
Izzy (Isabel) our server was friendly and as interactive as we cared to be despite her multiple tables. She despite still being in high school had better interactive people skills than many servers and bodes well for the staff training.
