Wonderful!!! We had no idea what to expect when we went to see ‘Certainly So’ back in June but were amazed by the experience and service! The only stressful part of the whole trip was parking as we couldn’t find a ton of options nearby, but it also seemed like a Halloween event was going on so there was even less available parking. Overall so fun and such a great time!

April 26th, 2025 went to a concert, but didn't arrive until almost 7pm to hear Uncle Morty Rhythm Cream and The Grass is Dead. Glad we didn't go earlier because this was mostly an outside venue and it was super hot that day. Bring a cooling device if going during the day to these all day concerts. Bring chairs if you want to sit and be aware that there are only porta potties for lower paying ticket holders. They do have inside bathrooms, but are only reserved for musicians and higher paying VIP ticket holders. Adult beverage prices are reasonable, average price is $7. Food and ware vendors come in and there are restaurants and a local brewery on the complex. The sound engineers mixing the bands were very good. Tickets for this event were $30/person at the door and you were given an armband to be able to come in and out. No pets except service dogs are posted on the website, but I saw a couple of people with non-service dogs, one of them being friends of ours. Kid friendly, wheel chair accessible, and parking limited, but was not hard for us to find a spot. Be prepared to be beaned with a beachball or run into by some smaller human. Dance area is large and the whole area is mostly grass/dirt. We traveled about 30 minutes to get there. We met people we know and love and had a good time. We will definitely go again.

Perfect from appointment scheduler to everyone there. Front office and back office. The love they have for animals is so evident. Reasonable prices and having our cat spayed and the precaution they took when they heard a heart murmur was so appreciated.

Went here for FEST and the whole situation was pretty ridiculous. The outside absolutely stunk, likely because of rain. The inside was too crowded to go into, which isnt necessarily a bad thing. Just inconvenient. There was a ring of port a potty to use, no indoor bathroom. The first day, there was a line around the block to get in, which caused people to miss the band playing. We avoided this venue for the remainder of Friday and Saturday. The 3rd day doors got pushed back about 40 minutes, which isnt the end of the world. But the real garbage thing was guests were told they should go get food and drinks from the connected pizza place, brewery and coffee shop, but then were not allowed to bring any of it in. Didn't make any sense, considering the kind of festival it was and it was posted online we would be able to carry our drinks from venue to venue. This really promotes over consumption, since people have to either throw out a brand new drink or slam the whole thing before entering, then buy a new one inside. Bad management, in my opinion.

One of the coolest venues to be at. They have seating areas and you can set up blankets and chairs as well. Really good sound system and overall just good vibes going on here. They also have vendors and food around the grounds alongside cheap drinks 😋

I love this venue so much. By far my favorite place in Gainesville area for live music. It is intimate and a perfect place for live music. Highly, Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at a Wailers concert hosted by Heartwood. Place is clean and out doors. Love the simplicity. Bring some chairs so you can be comfortable. Seating is really limited.

Yelp
This place is a gem in the heart of the city! So many concerts and activities happen here: Tom Petty weekend, Endo Sesh, and many, many more. Last night was Brazil Fest, which features local Brazilian musicians! They were all amazing and diverse! On a cold night, I parked my car close, and as I opened the door to walk in, wondered if this weather kept away my tropical-blooded neighbors at home. A few people were mingling by the bar, and I made mmy way to the sound stage. I quieted my phone, as the sign asked, and slowly opened the door to a packed house! A quartet of musicians were playing classic songs of the equatorial reality, and the expats were drinking it up like a cat to a saucer of cream!! Cell phones recording the show would surely be relayed on social media to report back to the home country to show how their culture has spread through the world. It was standing room only, and as I stood there listening to the crowd sing the songs, I got a sense of how much they love their music and culture! This place is intimate!! Big enough to hold a hundred people, but small enough to feel close to the talent! Smiles and hand-waving back and forth to the beat of the music would make anyone tap their foot and feel the happiness floating around! This is an awesome place to see music happen!! Wait for my next review of their outdoor venue, when they have multiple stages and dozens of bands in one day!

Yelp
I went to the Heartwood Soundstage this past week for a concert. The artist was Lucy Kaplansky, whom I had found out about from the Cry Cry Cry album around the turn of the century due to its involvement with Dar Williams. This is also how I found out about Richard Shindell, whose concert at the Heartwood a month ago was also absolutely incredible. The Heartwood continues to excel in its presentation of performers, both in the quality of the performers themselves and in the quality of the sound that you hear inside the soundstage. Pretty much the only thing I would like to see changed is the seating, as I always feel like I am going to break the folding chairs they have there. This time around I sat in the back on the cushioned bench seat, and while that was much more solid, I also had the feeling like I was going to slide right off of it and onto the floor (because of the cushion against the wood, not because it was too small a bench). However, these are very small prices to pay for the quality of musicianship that keeps coming through the doors at the Heartwood. I look forward to many more concerts here. Hopefully they can get Tara MacLean at some point! (hint hint!)

Yelp
Absolutely absurd beverage "rules" was confronted for carrying a clear plastic cup of water from one of the on-site restaurants. Was told I could not legally bring the water into the venue and was instructed to pour it out. Then had my purse searched for the 5th time at the event. Meanwhile much of the crowd carried around beverage bottles they freely brought to the venue. Makes no sense, no logic in place here. Good music nice venue, ludicrous, asinine beverage nonsense, not worth the hassle. Don't support this ridiculous hypocritical nonsense. Plenty of other welcoming live music venues.

Yelp
This is a really nice venue. I've been here to see a private New Politics show. The inside performance space is intimate, and everything is recorded and put up on TV screens. Outside there is a large open area with two extra bars. This is more for festival type events. The employees I've met are nothing but helpful and kind. This place also has a recording studio.

Yelp
The sound quality and atmosphere here are just wonderful! I drove over two hours to attend a show here and had never heard of the venue and I was so impressed with everything. One of the best sounding shows I have ever been to.
