"Glenn Lawson and Grant Fenning opened Lawson-Fenning on Beverly Boulevard, the epicenter of LA's design district, before opening this more far-flung second location, which they conceived as a concept store. As such, their goal was to provide a curated selection of mid-century California and Scandinavian design that's equal parts affordable and luxe. The furniture and furnishings, which are all made in Southern California with sustainable wood, are gorgeously turned out, and there's also plenty of small packables, like glass carafes from Copenhagen, and knotted door mats. The shop includes a design bookstore, Ivanhoe Books, which has become a popular neighborhood destination for current and vintage design titles."

Such a beautiful store. We didn’t buy anything but the selection was second to none. I want my house to look like this place! Their rugs are great and their tableware is spectacular. Prices seem to actually not be as high as I expected - a large beautiful handmade rug for $160 is super reasonable.

I have a custom Franklin sectional that is 7 months old. The fill in the seat cushions is looking worn. When I shared this feedback with my interior designer I was assured that Lawson-Fenning stands behind their products and the issue will be fixed. I love the sectional as it is perfect in my space and super happy with the follow up service.

I wanted every single thing in the store. I managed to talk myself down to a solid brass hammer with a beautiful wooden handle, and a couple strands of brass garlands. My fiancé who dislikes shopping was also finding lots of goodies here…Fantastically curated shop.

Called. Said they would be open til 6. Drove there. Then they were closed at 445. Response to below: When I arrived I saw the gate was closed and the lights were off in the front. I called and was told you closed early.

Nice shop, staff was a bit aloof. I had heard LF and was glad to find myself in the area for lunch. I purchased a great candle and a few throw pillows. I had asked if I could buy the pillows without the insert pillows but that wasn't an option. Sadly, my problem is with pillows is inserts- they poke feathers constantly and are completely uncomfortable. I love the look but for a high priced store I really feel this should not be an issue (or sell the pillows for less and, as requested, let me add my own insert). Note, I'm in the midst of redecorating my home and this experience gives me pause on future purchases.

Wanted to support local businesses so chose some Items to purchase from here that unfortunately didn't look good in my home. All sales are final. I won't be purchasing there again. Too many other stores wanting my business.

We just got our custom made couch from Lawson-Fenning and it is the greatest couch ever. It's so comfortable and well made. And Sarah did such a great job helping us design it. It's just gorgeous. Can't recommend this place enough.
