Jengo's Playhouse

Very cool little theater I volunteer when available and meet some very nice people. The Staff that run Jengo’s are like family! Check out the schedule often as films are added frequently.

The best place in town to see some rich local and beyond films and meet very cool people.

Jengos invites us into their space every year for the north Carolina black film festival. And every year they are amazingly welcoming, and kind. The whole place is a vibe from the Theater room, to the bar. The owner Dan is extremely intentional in making sure everyone is comfortable. Def a Gem here in Wilmington for those into film and the arts. Nothing else quite like it in my opinion

Such a great time at the Uptilt film festival today! Congrats to all of the winners! We have so many talented women in film here in the southeast, and so many wonderful men in film who support us! Just a fantastic community all together! 🙌

This place is so cool! We watched one of the films from their 8 week series. It was amazing to meet the creator/director, screenwriter, and actor from the movie afterwards. We are going back next week!

The comedians were good!! Staff was friendly!! Layback atmosphere... something fun to do as a couple...

Brilliant, unique place to catch a film. Plus they make a mean mocktail in the back bar!
